The pool needs more umbrellas. Very little shade available.

Parking was good but wish there was an elevator that goes straight to the hotel instead of having to walk outside. But overall great experience there.

The check in & check out process were quick & efficient. The lady assisting us w/ our check in was helpful & made sure our request for ADA accommodation were considered. The rooms were spacious w/ a balcony . Very comfortable beds and we had two full bathrooms . The location was convenient , & the heated pool was up for use until 11pm for late night swimming. we highly recommend.

Bathroom was disgusting I informed the front desk clerk. Poor cleaning quality mold walls , broken toilet lid .handles moldy and rusty. Staff not friendly .not even greeting. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Staff has not been helpful at all trying to locate a very important dress I left in the room. I have been trying to contact the hotel and they keep sending me to a website that basically I have to submit a respuestas. However, I did submit it and I have not heard anything from anyone. It’s been almost a week and I haven’t heard back from anyone . I tried calling again to the hotel and they just keep sending me back for the website. This is not a huge hotel and they should know who cleaned the room the day I left. What is the problem to just ask the housekeeping who cleaned the room? They keep giving me the runaround and won't give me any explanation at all as to who found the dress. At this point I will say the housekeeping just kept it for them. SO be very careful when you check out from this hotel. Another problem was the checkout which was not very pleasant.

Place is clean and staff at front desk were friendly. Pool is nice and well kept. Bar at the pool is a plus. Rooms were decent, though I would’ve liked a safe for my valuables. Beds were comfortable and the view from our terrace was nice. Overall the property seems a bit outdated, but it’s well kept and respectable. Right on the water, which is nice for sun sets and view, but the actual beach is a couple blocks away. Not far at all. Salty’s across the street and a block away was good. Restaurant in hotel (Jimmy’s Fish House and Iguana Bar) was good. Staff and bartenders were good and food was decent too. Live music every night we were there. All in all it was a good stay. A little pricy considering the pool was the only amenity. Game room was closed because of storm damage and no gym. So basically it’s called a resort because of the pool and the restaurant. If I went back I would probably try a place across from the beach or more in the center of town, even if it costs a little more. However, I don’t have too many complaints about this place. We had a good stay and perfect weather to boot.

Very impressed with the turn down service daily!! We would return to a clean room and fresh towels daily. Our room was a suite with plenty of space and I was brought extra coffee pods for my Kurig. The pool was great and amount of lounge chairs was more than enough. We got the package with breakfast and it held us over till lunch. Generous portions and fast service. The front desk was always helpful with vouchers and recommendations. They assisted us with bracelets for the pool. We never lacked anything! Overall wonderful stay, hotel was clean, parking was plentiful!

Great view for dolphin watching. I've stated here three times. I hope the hotel was more flexible and would grant late check out in exceptional situations. The hotel staff vacuumed the hallway very early in the morning, repeatedly hitting the room door. No chance of sleeping in!

Hi I stayed there for my 2 yr Anniversary which fell on Memorial Day, May 25th & I was disappointed with the quality of the room, the Hotel needs updating, it's very out dated especially with the price for 1 day being over $500, I expected more quality beds was sunken in, tub looks like from the 80's, caulking at bottom, furniture looks like it was from the 80's as well, Very disappointed with the quality of the room.

The rooms were terrific and the staff was very accommodating. The only downside to this location is that you have to walk several blocks to reach a public beach access. While the property is oceanfront, you cannot get down onto the beach. Otherwise, we loved this hotel and property!

Over all had a great time at this hotel . Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel is a little dated , but the location and view made up for any bads. I would recommend if in the area to get a hood night sleep at a affordable cost and great parking garage that comes with room.

I like the location and the fact that you can walk everywhere. The donuts shop is very good. The room is good and clean. But very old and need to be updated. The bathroom clean but old cabinets and tub and no sho moo and conditioner only 2 bottles by the sink.nothin elese.

We had a wonderful experience at Holiday Inn & Suites—the front desk staff were excellent, and housekeeping kept our room clean daily. The hotel is centrally located with places to eat, shops and have drinks. The beach is a five-minute leisurely walk from the hotel. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay. Our only negative is, we had both breakfast and lunch Jimmy's Fish House restaurant at the Holiday Inn & Suites but on our last day they only had one waitress, so we walked out. However, we found Jimmy's Fish House located in the next building, the tenth floor of the Edge hotel and the food was also great.

Incorrect description not on the beach hot tub did not work hotel showers malfunctioned even staf communicated hotel problems . Hotel has a bad smell like a 1960s holiday inn . And wanted to charge 75 $ for 30 minute late checkout no bueno

Absolutely loved our time here! The views are gorgeous. Our suite was very clean and lots of room. The restaurant on site had great breakfast and a good lunch/dinner. Only “negative” would be the staffing at the on site restaurant. The staff had amazing attitudes but you could tell they were short staffed and tried their best to keep up with the busy times. Caused a little bit of delay with being seated and drinks and such.

This is an ideal place to vacation with your family and friends! The view from the pool area is spectacular! The staff is very helpful and nice! The gulf view rooms are worth paying the added amount! The food was all delicious. We will return!

It’s centrally located for restaurants, but it’s not “on the beach” which was disappointing but the staff was fantastic to accommodate a room request and was cheerful about it. The beach in the pics is not theirs and chairs and umbrellas as for rent only. However across the bridge is a wonderful state park with amenities, daily parking rate and lounge/umbrellas for rent with an awesome, non-crowded beach!

We had street view so couldnt see the beach from our room. We were able to enjoy the sunset from the pool area. The location is a couple minutes walk to the beach and various restaurants and bars.

I read some of the reviews and let me tell you my experience was great. the reservation manger was very nice and professional. he spoke with me prior and everything was great when I arrived with no issues. The music and view of the ocean was good and relaxing. everything was walking distance, the night life next door was a hit.

We spent hours looking for the perfect hotel for my children’s first Florida vacation. It had to be something special and this hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Everything was streamlined, cleaned, and stress free. The views were incredible as well and I am so glad that we trusted this space. We made some lifelong memories here!

Room was excellent, a little dated but we had a suite at an affordable price. Bay view but we saw dolphins! Short walk with our three kids to the beach. Pool view - only had kiddie (1 foot) and regular which was 8.5 to 4.5, a little deep for our little but we made it work. Close to the pier and great food!

We were there for two nights and two days. did not get cleaning service, coffee wasnt replaced and on the second night they evacuated everyone cause someone vaped in their bathroom. My mom is 72 and she had to walk down 9 lights of stairs and 11pm. Completely ridiculous. I will never stay at this hotel again and do not reccommend it to anyone.

Hotel is in an ideal location with amazing views of the ocean. Alot of boat watching which was nice. The rooms were spacious. Also, besides their own onsite restaurant they are also close to many other restaurants to enjoy. Close to Pier 60, shops and to a small grocery store for convenience. And we loved that there are trollies that run all day to get you around town. Note- high traffic volumes during the day from 9am- 6pm. Took us 35 minutes to go 3 miles due to all of the incoming traffic. Overall it was a wonderful stay and would recommend for couples and for families. Staff was friendly as well.

The room doors automatically slam so it was hard to get a good night sleep. Would recommend as the location was great!

The housekeeping staff was great and every day our room was swept and mopped fresh made sheets & extra towels. When we arrive for check-in, the first thing I noticed my open my door was a cockroach. I called down to the front desk twice to get someone to come up and kill it and essentially get us a new room and the front desk girl was rude and laughed about it like it was insane that I couldn’t just kill it myself and stay in that room. I believe his name is Nigel at the front desk. He was very apologetic and got us a new room right away although I was so freaked out by how big the bug was we slept at the light on the rest of the week. The restaurant has good food and drink choices. However it takes easily 30 minutes to get a waiters attention outside to get a drink, I had to ask for a drink menu three times and get up and finally get one myself. I was disappointed to not know there wasn’t a hot tub there, but that was my fault when I looked booking. I thought the picture was a hot tub, but it turned out to be a kitty pool. The bartenders were nice and the rest of the hotel staff was friendly. I would definitely say the bathrooms need updated and most of the hotel, especially the restaurant. You could see bugs all over the windowsills and dust all over the blinds so that was kind of gross to look at while you’re eating.

Pool area needed more sitting space and the staff has to be more responsive to the guests when asked questions it seemed like they were being bothered.

Nice place, clean rooms comfy bed. Pool area is awesome boats pass by constantly and several dolphins. On site restaurant is on the water nice outside sitting area but our food was not good and we waited an hour for our drinks to come- 15 min after our food! Waitress was very apologetic and took the drinks off our bill.

Needs updating

This hotel is by the beach. It’s a 6 minute walk to the beach. There is a parking lot however it is small. They do have a parking garage, but it is not attached to the hotel. They do charge you a resort fee when you get there. No bikes are available like at some resorts. It’s a nice place and good location. It is due for an update on the inside.. nothing that should keep anyone away. It is close to everything. There are some great restaurants in the area!

Nice hotel. Pay the extra and get a balcony room with view of the gulf, worth every penny. Spectacular sunset. The restaurant offered a variety of delicious food. Entertainment in the afternoon and evening was a great touch.

The checking in was super slow, then staff gave me someone's room keys. The restaurant besides the hotel has Karaoke, they partied till 12 AM. It was super loud, we could not even go sleep. Horrible experiences.

The band started playing at 7:00 and didn't quit until 10:15. They were so loud that I couldn't hear the tv. Management wouldn't do anything. They said the band was hired by the restaurant and are separate from the hotel so it was out of their control. They need to let people know about the loud music before booking. I will not stay there again!

Such a great experience. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. This will be my first choice when I go to Clearwater beach, simply because the customer service was phenomenal.

Stayed for two nights last weekend of Feb - we arrived around 7pm check in was at main hotel ( Sirata Beach Resort ) opposed to St Pete Shores - I believe they must have acquired them as it’s the same parking lot and u have use of the same amenities but your hotel is smaller units that are on the side where u get to your room from outside. Drapes super light so felt like someone could see in - Water in room was so disgusting that the two days we stayed we didn’t take a shower and we used bottle water for brushing our teeth. When u shut the bedroom door at night u literally felt like u were in a jail cell . It was dirty, no lights anywhere on property at night so very dark- Room service - nope, would never trust house keeping, to get to the beach u had to go half way around building as major construction going on . One hot tub at main resort but again no lights -First night there sheriff SUV and CSI van was at Main building- we were scared to even come out of our room. Next day while at pool 5 more Sheriff’s fly into the parking lot midday almost knocking over my daughter and they pull out two people from a room on first floor and arrest them. Resort gave no explanation besides “sometimes couples argue” The restaurants overpriced and not good . 48.00 a night resort fee and u don’t get a free beach chair !! Basically covered a towel and towel machine broken. 35.00 night parking fee,I would rather sleep in a car than ever stay here again.

Book the corner suite if you can! You will love the views!! It's a little noisy at night from the bar music below but you can justify that with the views.

Everything in this hotel is awful - the staff, zero service, old building, falling apart rooms, a shower with mist only water functions so you can’t get clean, broken doors, cigarette smoke and terrible breakfast. No beach access. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s a trap. Better places out of this area and for much less. It’s a crime what they charge for this place - we will never go back.

Nothing went well- it was the worst stay in the worst hotel- no hot water for a long weekend - bugs in the room that got in an expensive box of donuts we had purchased/ no customer service or any solution offered. A move to another garbage room was the only option. They said the no hot water wasn’t their fault and I paid 4 figures for this weekend. We took cold showers for 2 days and the last day I couldn’t even take it and didn’t even shower. I should’ve been refunded - something should’ve happened and it didn’t.

Room was very nice and clean. Pool area and bar was great and the hotel location is close to everything we wanted to see and do. Sitting on the deck watching the boats go by and dolphins at times was a treat. Parking was easy and having a coffee shop and donut place in the lobby was a treat. Thank you. George

I was impressed with how well the hotel lobby had recovered from the hurricane. The reception staff did their job but could maybe be a bit more customer friendly and smile and make you feel more welcomed . The room we had was on third floor and had new flooring and most new furniture but the blackout curtain was full of holes and dirty and net curtain was grubby and as for the outside on the balcony could do with a lot of tlc , the aircon was falling to pieces and noisy

Lacking staff support, no breakfast do not buy the breakfast add-on option. They do not have free breakfast. You will not get free breakfast even if you pay for it. Wish I would’ve known that before we purchased it. Unaccommodating. Will choose a different place next time.

Staff was great, downside was the walls are thin so if your next to a room with…adult activities at night your S.O.L. Had some issues with the toliet but staff helped a lot with that.

Nice view No direct beach access

I purchased the meal for two as part of my 2 night package but was informed by the restaurant in the hotel that there was a mandatory 10 service and 18% gratuity charge so i still paid full price and thats a rip off. I was charged for meal tickets that i was scammed out of.

View from our room was fantastic. Music everynight at the bar and we had direct sight. The room though was very hot and the AC couldnt keep up with the heat from the windows. We did speak too the front desk, we were offered another room but would have had to give up our view. Otherwise, they wern't very opologetic, and we had to purchase a fan to put on the AC to blow air into our room. If you arent a fan of sleeping in a hot room and sweating when getting ready after showering, maybe think twice. I also wasnt happy to get notified right before stayed thay the game room was closed. Check before you book!

When I booked my reservation it said breakfast was included when we asked the front desk they said it was not something they had available. That was disappointing.

Hotel location was perfect with beach and attractions within walking distance. We had a great time, no complaints and would stay again.

Young parking staff was rude as soon as I arrived because I entered to his left instead of his right (mind you I was lost). Mini refrigerator was noisy at night. Male cleaning service entered my room before 11am before I checked out.

We keep coming back to this property because we absolutely love it! It accommodates our family comfortably, the staff is friendly and accommodating, it’s with if walking distance to everything! 10/10 would recommend this hotel

We had a truck and trailer and they helped us with no problems. We stayed for one night and our room was amazing! Everything about it from the view to the bed was great! Definitely going back when we go back to Clearwater!

I have came to this hotel the last 6 yrs and it is definitely starting to get run down! We were supposed to have two queens with gulf view. Get there and they only have one gulf view left and it is on the second floor with a roof view of the restaurant! So they gave us a partial gulf view but the room/ hotel definitely needs updated for the cost to stay there! The only main reason I stay there is because I love jimmy’s the restaurant. Will probably look elsewhere next trip to Clearwater but still visit the restaurant.

Every thing was close by and could easily acess

Older property. Our floor smelled of smoke & pot. Book almost anything else. The free parking was convenient.

Not counting how you have to park across the way and take two elevators to get your room, a crazy woman came banging on our door at midnight screaming to let her in and rattling our door. They did absolutely nothing. It was terrifying. Couldn't sleep all night. Claimed to be sending security up but no one called us back nor did they ever say anything. Won't be returning.

Just a great stay overall

We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a king bed in one room and bunk beds in an adjoining room. It was clean, but the king bed was so uncomfortable that I could hardly sleep. The kids bunkbeds were falling apart and scratched up. There is no door on the adjoining room, so there was very little privacy. They need to put a full size microwave in that unit as we could not even make our kids popcorn. Other than that, the property was well-maintained and staff very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant, which had live music. Sunsets were unbelievably beautiful. The outside grounds are well maintained. We were also able to walk to the beach and places to shop. I would stay there again, but not in the bunk bed suite.

I've stayed at many hotels, and this made me think that becausr it was resort town, the hotel would be unkept. Was I wrong....

Rooms can be cleaned better floors always dirty, our socks were black on the bottom. Some of those vents in the hallways are black? Mold?

Excellent overall

We did not have a good experience. Our room was changed that morning to a smaller room but for more money. They said our room was still available, but for more money than Expedia confirmed for us 3 weeks earlier. someone canceled it and changed it to the smaller room on of near the day we checked in. Expedia didn’t do it and we didn’t do it so it had to have been the hotel. Our room was broken so they moved us to another room. That’s room did not have electricity at the bedside and the phones didn’t work. They kept trying to reschedule maintenance to come up, but we just wanted to enjoy our trip and not wait for maintenance. It should’ve been fixed before we got there. I kept having to run downstairs to talk to the front desk because the phones didn’t work. I counted The young man at the desk, saw my frustration and offered to comp is a full day. I trusted him and didn’t ask for it in writing so when we checked out, they said they couldn’t do it because they didn’t believe me and said he probably was just comping you for the day rate of 30 some dollars. I said no he said we would only City he probably was just be charged for five nights, not six nights. The said no way. The staff and the property outside were very nice, but the game room was closed. All the video machines were gone there was no mention of that on the website. The glass door was locked and the sign on the door said game room closed sorry for the inconvenience. Love Clearwater, but it could have been better.

Ease of check in was great. Room was very clean.

The hotel itself looked very dated. The curtains were stained, the bathroom looked very dated and the toilet was very low to the ground. The TV kept losing signal and i coukdnt get the shower head to work.The hallways need to be updated and were very hot. Carpet and walls showed wear and stains in the hallways. Staff was ver pleasant. Restaraunt had a plumbing issue (I assume) as they had water flowing on the floor into the main eating area that had to be mopped up constantly and a fan placed to try to dry the floors. Good location, staff friendly, but the hotel needs a huge remodel. The first floor rooms facibg the parking lot are used for storage and you could see piles of artwork and stuff shoved in the rooms. At least close the curtains so people dont see this. Not a comforting feeling when walking up to the hotel.

Ac broke in first 2 rooms as 7th floor was very hit they fixed it and put us on 6th floor

The place smelled like weed 24/7. The shower wasn’t clean, the towel hangers were falling off. The place needed some revocation badly.

I enjoyed my stay. Shopping, the beach, restaurants and other food options were all in walking distance. My room was very clean and comfortable. The view of the water, dolphins and passing boats were the highlight of the hotel. I would stay here again.

We have family in Clearwater so we are in town a lot. We stay at this Holiday Inn because it’s like having your own apartment. 2 Complete rooms. With 2 full baths and a balcony for views. Kitchen families if needed. The suites are worth the price. Nice Dining and entertainment too. Pool is warm.

Hotel staff are very helpful and polite. The hotel is clean. I feel like the elevators could use a facelift. My room was perfect. Very clean - spotless to be exact! Parking is easy, with a garage on site. Ocean front with restaurant and live music each night! This is my 3rd time staying here. Very reasonable rates for Clearwater! Will be returning in the near future.

The lobby and halls are older and kind of dark, but our room was very nice!

The staff is professional and accommodating. I really like that you don't have to leave the property for food, entertainment, or just relaxing by the pool.

Amazing stay, awesome staff, convenient to other locations and comfortable accommodation.

The overall stay was great. Only concern 🙁 parking. It was very hard to park I think if you are staying and paying. Premium per night a parking spot should be always available during your stay. One day I spent 30 minutes to park. They also charge for public parking and it was packed having to go around and around to find a spot open .

Clean fun close to everything

From the photos when I booked, we were expecting beach front property, so we could walk down on the beach. That was disappointing, but the view was very pretty from our 4th floor corner room. We were also surpised that it was a suite, which was nice. We would have liked a sofa or high back comfort chair in the room.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn and Suites many times. We enjoy everything.

The property says ‘on the beach.’ Well, that’s technically true but you can’t access beach from the property. There is 8-10 min walk.

The staff was very accommodating.

It’s fine. Some halls are under construction. Halls are tired. Rooms are clean. Can’t log into any of our streaming services.

More than expected with big smiles at the front desk, the larger room, large balconey, kitchen ,floor to ceiling glass windows on two walls and panoramic view of the water....Fun live music outdoors too.

Mi familia y yo pasamos unos días espectaculares,la comida del restaurante deliciosa y con una vista hermosa frente al mar ,el personal es atento y muy profesional nos hicieron sentir como en casa,la música es muy acorde al lugar ,la puesta del sol es bella y se disfruta un pequeño trago de una bebida de cortesía y además tocan la campana cuando el sol se va,la piscina muy limpia ,los bartender son muy atentos y profesionales,en fin recomiendo mucho este hotel superó mucho de lo que esperaba ,nos vemos de nuevo el próximo año.

The location was great. However, it is outdated. You may want to spend an extra $50 bucks and stay in a nicer place. Elevators and hallways need attention pronto. The room stayed nice and cool, and was clean.

Outdated hotel . Staff not Too friendly expect for the guy at the restaurant. Lounge chairs are super old the whole hotel is outdated . No private beach you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to the public beach . Area is nice to walk around. .

Was woken up several days at 8am by pounding from workers. Staff was quite rude, fire alarm went off and had to leave our room for 15 mins. Couldn't find house keeping for towels. Friends had coach roaches in their room. Overall tated as a 2

Sconsiglio assolutamente!

Great location, very clean. Live band plays every night until 11 pm (not aware of this) no heads up before booking and our room was on the 6th floor right in front of the band stand. Maintenance guy starts power washing the deck in front of the band stand on Saturday at 6:30 am! Food was great and pool was nice.

The room was clean and because we had a double room, we had more than enough room. My only complaint was both of our showers had one temperature…..surface of the sun hot. I went to the desk and asked if someone could look at it and no one did. Besides that. The hotel is convenient, had a great pool and a decent price for the beach.

Rooms need updating. Give you free breakfast coupons but it’s not free. They automatically added on service fees of almost $8.00 and the tip regardless of service. Front desk service was good.
