Our experience at the Wyndham was amazing. My family and I enjoyed our trip immensely. The people that work there, cleaning staff, reception, security, pool attendants and valet staff were very friendly and always provided excellent service. The room was clean and well equipped and the view of the beach was excellent. We enjoyed the pool, the spa, the pina coladas by the pool, food, etc. And the walk and swim at the beach was fantastic. Highly recommend this property. Location was amazing.

I would have expected better after the multiple texts asking about our confirmation , what time we anticipated arrival, how our stay was. We waited 2 1/2 hours to be able to check in. We got repeatedly shoved time share down our throat. There was no ice maker. Chairs cost us $90 bucks. Loudest A/c and washer I have ever heard. When we went to check out we were told we never checked in. Have to download an App just to get a towel. Pool was filthy. Shall I go on…..I repeat not impressed. With so many other options and the price we paid I think we will stay elsewhere next time.

We booked and payed the top of the price for a gulf view unit and we found out that it is a Lagoon view and looks over a big reconstruction site You need to check with the club and Expedia before booking The owner of this unit put a picture of a gulf view unit where it is not The property couldn’t do anything for us and I had to call Expedia, they gave us coupon but this didn’t change that we booked a gulf view to find out that we don’t have it

We booked at stay at the Club Wyndam side of the Clearwater Wyndham resort since the hotel was already full. I hadn't realized at the time of booking that we were renting an open timeshare appt until the person checking us in started on the big sell for Timeshare opportunities. (Free beach umbrella and 7 night future stay for sitting through 1-2 hour Timeshare video). But once we said we were only there for 2 nights and had no intention of buying a timeshare, all was good. The appt was really nice and big with the added benefit of having a washer & dryer and 'resident' parking lot. Overall, stay was pleasant but you just have to be upfront that you booked the appt via Hotels.com and you didn't come for a life-long "investment opportunity".

Grand kids had a wonderful time at the pool. Had a hard time getting to sit in the hot tub only 8 at a time. Will be back.
- 5/5
The location is the best place on Clearwater Beach and hotel views are great!
- 1/5
On our day of arrival we called to let the Clun
- 5/5
Beautiful view. Perfect for families. Dinning in the hotel and pool side is delightful
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, cleanliness and good service, excellent food.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, great staff, steps to the beach!
- 4/5
Great location! Nice place. But checking in was more complicated than it needed to be since we were lied to. The person that checked us in tried to get us into the time share sales pitch. Afterwards we noticed there were steet hecklers doing the same thing to everyone that walked by. It was very off putting. On our last day we checked out. Since we no longer had our wrist bands on, we were heckled as well. This us enough to make me think twice about returning. It was very uncomfortable.

Everything was amazing! The staff, pool, amenities were awesome!
- 1/5
It’s ok . The bed was wonderful ! Everything is clean and nice. The only bed thing is they expect you to leave the property at 10 and check in at 3 . No flexibility .
- 5/5
Top-notch staff really sets this hotel apart. Everyone we met were friendly, competent professionals who looked after our family's every need and made this a very special family vacation.
- 5/5
Property was great! Only thing is we would have liked if the property offered a tween/teen area for socializing among peers their peers, maybe with a pool table, or ping pong table, games, movies etc. Or if there were evening activities hosted onsite for this age group.
- 1/5
No home keeping service.front desk call daily trying to get you to listen to timeshare presentation
- 5/5
Great place to stay , food was wonderful, room was spacious will stay again
- 4/5
Location, apartment and service was great. The rooms were very well laid out and comfortable, though the carpet needed cleaning as it left our feet black at the end of the day. The only annoyance was the several attempts to sell us timeshare, when all we wanted to do was enjoy the facilities.
- 4/5
Enjoyed the spaciousness of the rooms and location. I Didn’t like going to the time share which was a pressure sales tactic.
- 5/5
Beautiful views of the gulf and as close to the beach and pier 60 as you can get
- 5/5
We had a 3-night stay and enjoyed every aspect of it. Walking along the beach or to nearby restaurants was very convenient. We rented a car but didn't really need it at all.
- 5/5
Great location and clean resort.
- 3/5
The staff had an attitude because I will not attend their sales pitch
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly. Location was excellent walking distance to everything. Beach is on your door step
- 5/5
Wyndham is the best. Fantastic pool and service. I highly recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Outstanding location, right on the beach. The facility was top-notch.
- 5/5
Great experience with the Wyndham room, grounds, and food. Hope I can find this great deal again.
- 5/5
Outstanding resort as well as the location. No negatives just a list of superlatives.
- 5/5
Condos were amazing. Every detail was perfect. From the design to the soaps and kitchen amenities
- 4/5
I had no idea this was a timeshare. It was super lovely inside the room but the view was of the parking lot. Front deak said to look out not down ( which was pretty funny) the pool was great a bit warm If you’re looking to cool off. Gratuity is added to everything which is great for those who “forget” to tip 😀 We are planning another trip in December so we will give the hotel side a chance✅
- 3/5
end up I have to cleaned by myself. all they was interesting to force me to sign up for timeshare meeting phone ran so many time to get me for timeshare meeting . I booked this hotel for relax . not for timeshare. also too many dead fishes on the beach....it was really bad
- 5/5
AMAZING! I can't describe how pleased I am with this booking. Booked the presidential 1-bedroom condo it was so spacious and equipped with everything i needed for my stay. It even has a washer and dryer!
- 5/5
This place was heaven on earth! The facilities are very new and modern. The rooms are very well laid out. The staff was incredibly helpful. We will stay here again!
- 5/5
Great location and wonderful host. The unit itself was clean and just like the photos advertised. Highly recommend and will use again.
- 5/5
THIS WAS AMAZING PLACE TO STAY. THE VIEWS WERE BREATH TAKING!
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to the beach, friendly staff, beds very comfortable and the room with spectacular views.
- 5/5
The Wyndham Clearwater Beach Resort was amazing!
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms, amazing view, very helpful staff. Gorgeous beach and pool, which we found to be a little busy.
- 4/5
I loved everything except the pressure that was put on us to buy a timeshare.
- 2/5
Very disappointed
- 1/5
concierge was rude, front desk employee was very disrespectful to my wife & very impolite. Restaurant food was ok. Too many flies flying in the restaurant and the floors were dirty and not swept. Flies were landing on my table. Expedia states check-in as 3pm, but it was 4pm. I was only able to get a room close to 4:30pm. Each adult gets one towel card to exchange for a pool towel and must be returned to avoid penalties. Since we only got two cards, my son and my daughter left the pool at night freezing to death. Hotel movies are not charged to the room instead you have to install Stayconnect app. We did then ordered one movie, charged $22 and it never aired.
- 5/5
Great location. Close to many activities and excursions. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. I would visit again and I would recommend this place.
- 5/5
This is a gorgeous hotel/condo style resort. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The food at each restaurant was wonderful.location is perfect. Right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. This is our second year staying here and we will be back again next summer
- 5/5
Absolutely the best maintained and serviced hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I travel frequently for work. Can’t wait to go back again!
- 5/5
The Wyndham at Clearwater Beach is amazing! We stayed on the residential side (in a condo) and it was incredible-- gorgeous, clean, and fully stocked with all the items we would need. The staff was very helpful and kind, and we felt very at home. My kids loved the pool and all the amenities! It was such a short walk to the beach, there are lots of nice restaurants nearby, and the atmosphere is amazing. We love Clearwater Beach and look forward to staying at the Wyndham again!
- 5/5
We have been coming to Clearwater beach for years and this was first time at the Wyndham. I say by far the best stay we have ever had at a Hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, great location! Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!
- 2/5
The agent checking us in was beyond unprofessional. As we knew this was a timeshare property and often stay at other Wyndham Vacation Club properties as guests of members, we declined the offer of a presentation. This sent the Wyndham agent into a blind rage and he became increasingly angry and aggressive. We must have had to decline the sales presentation at least ten times. When he finally realized we weren't going to budge, he more or less threw our RFID key bracelets and the towel cards at us. We experienced an unacceptable level of hostility while being repeatedly berated for declining a "no pressure" sales meeting. Staff was rude again later when we asked about an ice maker as our freezer hadn't made enough on our first night. The two stars I would give this property were earned for the absolutely gorgeous (presidential) unit and the convenient location. We took full advantage of the kitchen and enjoyed walking to dinner when not cooking in. Our balcony faced the marina but appeared to be the only unit configuration with a balcony not facing the beach. The unit was well appointed, spacious, and brand new. The value was good but would not stay again due to pressure at check in and rude staff, which soured our experience from the outset.

I had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Clearwater Beach Resort. The resort is as gorgeous, if not more gorgeous, as the photos. I traveled with my mom and sister's friends for my sister's bachelorette party. We were staying in a Presidential Condo (w/ a kitchen). It was VERY clean, beds were comfortable, we had a nice view of the ocean as well as the bay, the one shower was a spa shower. Best showers I've ever experienced!!! The pool was beautiful. We would go to the beach for most of the day every day, then hit up the pool in the late afternoon. Never had trouble with chairs until the last day, a Saturday. It was great booking through hotels, as parking and hotel fees were included. I didn't owe the resort anything in addition. Loved being right on the beach, and it was very walkable. Thanks so much for everything, Wyndham!!!

We got a 1 bedroom which turned out to be in the vacation ownership side of the building. When checking in they run you through a fast talking sales pitch. They invited us to a "special" breakfast to help us learn more about the hotel. They claimed they were simply trying to inform people and get their travel website ratings up. I later realized they had charged me a $40 deposit to attend this breakfast and it had nothing to do with their travel site ratings but was rather a typical time share sales pitch. After figuring this out, I stopped at the front desk to cancel our reservation. As I was just paying my Visa bill I saw the $40 charge and was infuriated. I can't say I'm surprised, but am quite disappointed they would try to swindle people into a meeting and then steal the $40 deposit from them. Doesn't exactly make you feel like a "guest" and I can tell you I would never consider doing business with a company that operates in this fashion.
- 4/5
Loved loved loved staying here. Everything was so nice and clean. Friendly staff and helpful. Only downfall was valet stated it was only parking option when in fact you get 1 parking spot free so I was charged 50$ for the weekend when I could have parked free
- 5/5
Clearwater Beach was awesome. We stayed in a 2 bedroom on the owner side and it was great.
- 1/5
If you stay here, be prepared for the staff asking you about a timeshare meeting. They just don’t call it that. I was blindsided by this when I went to check in. And once I told them I would not attend a meeting, their whole demeanor changed. They were going to let me check in 45 minutes earlier before I told them no meeting. After that, they told me I had to wait the 45 minutes to check in and they would text me when my room was available. At 4:00, I went back to front desk and was told that housekeeping was doing final inspection and should be done shortly. 15 minutes later, they gave me the room key. I was paying alot of money for this room. I have never been treated so badly in my life. On the positive side, the room was quite nice. But my day was ruined so I couldn’t really enjoy it.

Wish I could have stayed longer Go Phils
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Entire staff was helpful and friendly. Excellent service at pool side bar/restaurant.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in a great location. Would certainly return.
- 5/5
The only complaint I had was a systems issue. I arrived at 8 am but didn't get a room until 3:30 pm. I was told I was first in line for a room. Small thing but it should be an easy thing to fix with a little communication between the front desk and housekeeping.
- 4/5
The room was amazing, much bigger than I expected it to be. The property was well taken care of, and I enjoyed all the amenities. Our stay would have been perfect, but I was upset that they closed the whole pool area one night for a private event. That is not fair to the people who are paying so much money to stay there, and they can't even use the amenities that were promised to them.
- 4/5
Flew into Tampa. About 30 to 45 to and from airport to hotel depending on traffic. Once I arrived at hotel it was very nice and new. Stair entrance was not ideal for luggage. Once you go up stairs you see the nice pool. There is no directions or signs to say where to go. We arrived early and check in was easy. Recommend not to do wyndham 60min session, sessions are at prime times of the day and could lose 40 dollars if do not show up. Also during check-in room cleaning is not explained very clearly. We were told to just call down if you need towels or your room clean. What they don't tell you, if you want new towels they will bring them up but won't take your used towels. And if want room cleaned, tried calling and was busy so said to go to lobby. The employee said it is an additional charge to clean your room. Do not do this. Cleaning of the rooms should be a normal daily practice. We arrived early and were told they would call, we dropped bags at baggage claim area in grand building. We were called that room was ready and were told bags would be brought up to room but they were not and picked them up at baggage claim. Overall the room was new, nice, roomy with a nice view of pool and beach. It had a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom in the deluxe. The bed was comfy, living room couch was small and not comfy, shower is nice but lets out water from door. The pool was not large but nice and heated. Oceanhai reastaurant breaksfast was great but dinner was just okay.

Love the decoration and the marvelous space on the presidential reserved
- 5/5
A++ we will come back here again, pool is nice our condo was clean and big, food drinks A+
- 5/5
We did attend the time share presentation but did not feel purchasing into it was the right thing for us. We did not feel uncomfortably pressured during the presentation. The hotel/condo complex was beautiful and we would absolutely stay there again!
- 5/5
Very good .clean hotel. Great service .Nice hotel staff.
- 5/5
New hotel With amazing services, pool, restaurants. Quiet, beach across the street, beautifully decorated. 24/7 room service.
- 5/5
Christmas family of eight weekend. Right on beach; large heated pool and hot tub; friendly, helpful staff. Hope to repeat vacation next year
- 5/5
amazing
- 5/5
Very comfortable beds, close to the beach, very clean
- 5/5
Best condo/hotel location to pier 60. The hotel is new so everything is beautiful. Staff is so helpful and nice. Doing valet parking isn't very conducive to keeping your beach stuff in your vehicle so you have to drag up coolers and beach chairs to your room.
- 3/5
Upon entering the condo there was a very fishy or sewer smell. We called down stairs twice, once that night and again in morning. Ask me if anyone cared. Even though we were out most of the time we had to come back to that smell.
