The lock on my door was not working, as a single person traveling and checking in at night it was a little scary!

The website claims to have a sofa bed but we were told that this hotel does not have any. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the sofa bed, so it was disappointing.

Close to there main highway and near Austin Peay University. Staff was friend, room was clean, breakfast was great.

Reported it to staff they casually mentioned the heater wasn’t working. Something they should’ve made customers aware of. No French vanilla creamer. Pillows had a mild sweat smell

The hotel needs to be kept up. There were a couple of holes/dips in hall under carpet. The common areas could be cleaner. Just seemed like regular maintenance and upkeep isn’t being done

Awesome stay for 1 night

The room layout is very odd. The bathroom is literally right next to the Bed. If you leave the bathroom door open and lay on your side, you are staring at a toilet all night. The room was very small and the breakfast was amongst the worst continental breakfast we have ever had. The staff was very nice.

I rarely leave reviews, but just had to say something. I’m not sure why this hotel has such high marks. Maybe just in comparison to nearby places? But the hotel is dated. The room smelled dirty and musty. We were there 3 nights and didn’t have service on any of them. They did stop by and give us fresh towels once, but then didn’t do anything else.

The bed was comfortable and the surrounding area was convenient. Most of the staff were nice and accommodating. Just 1 lady was rude shutting breakfast down early. The pool isn’t heated. The room was very small. The shower had no door on one end and the water pressure was very high. Another person staying there said he had no water pressure in his shower. The drawers in the bathroom were difficult to shut and I found some hairs in the “clean” towels that weren’t mine.

Bed size smaller than advertised (reservation was for king-size, but hotel only had queen size...their largest bed). False advertisement. Breakfast was bad. Leaking ceiling next to lobby elevator. Bad smell in hallways, and holes in floor (under carpet). Old.

Great location to stay while visiting Austin Peay State University. Just a 5 minute drive to the campus and right off 24.

Front desk was very courteous; workout room was clean and spacious; appreciated the large fridge in our room since we had 2 coolers of food and drinks to store

Hotel didnt meet Marriott standards from the landscaping, to smell in the hotel rooms. Customer service was lackluster at best.

The price, okay. Unfortunately because it’s located smack in the city, there is not much room outside. The photos fail to show that if there is an event or party going on ( as was the case upon my arrival) it looks and sounds routy. You’ll get a good wif of cigarettes and weed as you enter the main entrance. Because all the outdoor seating is directly in front. The night desk clerk, not so hospitable. The room was nice and clean, lovely kitchenette and bathroom. The caulk in the shower had some mildew. The hotel was quiet. No bad smells. Nice hot breakfast and good coffee. Overall. I give it 4 stars.

Always clean Everything was great except for the night attendant. She was rude when I tried to explain the charges—constantly cutting me off and using excessive hand gestures. I couldn’t even finish a sentence without being interrupted. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, listened, and handled the situation professionally.

Great room. Definitely delivered what I expect from TownePlace Suites. (the suites are fantastic) Staff was friendly and welcoming (Candace) Great stay. Will definitely stay again. Love Clarksville.

The woman who worked the front desk on Friday and Saturday evening (I can’t remember her name), was so nice. Friendliest person ever!

Wow, the shower was awesome, the size of the room and cleanliness was amazing. We were just there for one night on our trip back home, Would definitely stay here again if we are back down in that area.

Housekeeping was not adequate (floors were not vacuumed prior to check in, shower drain was clogged, room smelled somewhat like body odor, dishes were not clean or put away). The front desk was fantastic and helpful (thank you Candice!).

Staff at check in was extremely kind and easy to talk to. The breakfast was delicious and was a hot breakfast with eggs and sausage and even waffles! One small suggestion, provide bottled water in the fridge for guests for purchase. Parking was easy. Bathroom was extremely clean and the shower was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The lady working at the front desk was amazing! I liked the size of the room and that it was very clean.

CANDICE WAS GREAT HELP AND SO SWEET

The staff were great here and there was lots of food choices. My big turn off was that there was a soft spot in the hall way that I almost turned my ankle in on the 3rd floor. I seemed like the just covered something with carpet. There were also mildew stains in the shower, and the caulking was coming off on the bottom of the toilet in our bathroom. The suit was nice and the beds were great. I just feel that it is important to maintain a space better.

Great experience! We always look for hotels with an indoor pool and free breakfast since we have kids and both were great! They even exchanged our room to be close to the pool during check in after I asked.

We found bugs in our room. The water was barely warm for a shower.

Quite a few things didn’t work in the room including the toilet

I was there by myself for a funeral. I felt very safe and the room was very clean. The staff was so nice. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk to the lady who did the breakfast. Also, the bed was very comfortable.

Had to move to another room all because no one could get into the room where the lightbulbs were stored (5pm).

Honestly the hotel is great, very clean and the staff is very friendly. However when I booked my room I confirmed i was traveling with my pet. I paid for the non refundable room in advance but when I got to the location I was charged a 100$ non refundable pet fee that was not disclosed at booking. I feel this was very deceptive as I would have chosen another hotel at one of the several local hotels

Nice clean property with a Walmart and multiple restaurant options within walking distance. A little high in price but good location.

From the time i walked in to the time i left everybody was just amazing..so helpful, so understaning, amazing people works there..the one that stood out was elizabeth she was the breakfast attended, she talked to me for a couple of minutes maybe she seen in my face i was going through something, she took the time to listen, to me thats very imporant...a kind heart ...

They said they were sold out and could not change my room. Pull out mattress had a stain. The air conditioner was extremely loud In bedroom. At the air vent.

This hotel is less comfortable than we expected especially considering what we paid for the room. Breakfast is made up of prepackaged foods only. Not worth the high price.

However, we were on the first floor … no problem with noise or anything … near a side entrance that was more convenient than going through the lobby. There were two concrete steps up from the parking lot to the door without either a handrail or a ramp. How on earth did y’all get that past building inspectors or ADA rules? Anyhow, that was a little unnerving for senior travelers.

Asked mgmt to switch rooms and was told the whole property is old and only a few have been remodeled with new venting systems. Asked for compensation for at least a little bit and was refused.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Nice amenities with an ample sized walk-in shower. The breakfast was well presented and had great variety to the selections available.

First, there was the $100 pet cleaning fee that I was hit with at check in. We travel with our pet all the time and this seems a bit excessive. If I was staying a week, sure that’s reasonable, but 1 night, no. I would have cancelled my reservation but it was a non refundable booking. Then there were no linnets in the room for our sleeper sofa. We had a pillow in the closet for it but nothing else. I called the front desk to get linens brought up, after waiting an hour I went down to get them myself. They were doing shift change and the clerk I talked to had completely forgotten about my request for linens. The place is clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was nice, but lack attention to detail.

Staying here was delightful the enter nights stay. Fell right to sleep on the King sized bed and comforter.

In town because my sister is in the hospital. The hotel policy says two dogs, but we have three big ones. They made special accommodations for us in light of the conditions of our stay in town. I would recommend them to anyone.

Room and breakfast were perfect. There was one thing that made it better than perfect. That was Leo, the man at the front desk. He went out of his way to accommodate my stay. I wish more people were like him going above and beyond their duties.

I was ask to verify the card used to book the room and was then charged for the room a second time. I spoke to the manager about it several times and he assured me that the money would be returned and it was only an authorization hold. Still waiting for the refund but nothing yet. I don’t know about you but I’m not interested in giving money away!

Enjoyed everything here with one glaring exception. They are pet-friendly, but not pet owner friendly. The pet fee is an OUTRAGEOUS $100. I’m totally fine with a $20-25 fee, with additional charge if extra cleaning is needed. But $100 is a deal breaker for me. This fact was not disclosed in the mobile web page used for booking. Too bad, I would otherwise be a repeat customer, but definitely will start calling locations when booking to check on pet fees.

Great staff, Ryan at the front desk was Amazing and everyone was above and beyond.

Hotel room was great, breakfast typical hotel free breakfast- everything was wrapped - very sanitary! Which I liked. Only thing I can complain about is no lotion in the room.

Everyone was helpful and Elizabeth was great with our kids.

Our stay was great.. The manager Ms. Rosalind and her staff were all wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Nice location. Close to food, shopping, hospital if needed, and main roads and interstate. The only thing I had an issue with was the pillows and mattress were too firm and uncomfortable. But, the suite space was a great size.

The kitchenette needed a more thorough cleaning. Mold in the coffee pot. Mold on the bathroom tiles. They also need to fully disclose their housekeeping policy as linens were refreshed every two days, suite is "refreshed" every two days. Thorough cleaning done once a week. Believe supervision of cleaning staff is light.

Good stop before Nashville. Expensive dog fee but booked it because of bad weather in the area. Not a bad place but expensive for a no frills hotel.
