This was our first stay at this hotel, and we had a great experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. The hotel offers good value for the price. My only suggestion would be to provide a wider variety of breakfast options. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful time! I booked 2 rooms for my boys and nephews & they had a time! Staff put us in area that was great and matched our accommodations!! Pool and pizza for kiddos while breakfast was on hotel! Definitely recommend! Family friendly

I didn’t get her name but the sweet lady in the morning brought coloring pages for my boys at breakfast, the staff was just wonderful!

It's hard not to love your stay at the Garner when "the desk dude" is so personable and FUNNY at check in. The rooms were well-kept, the welcome chilled cucumber water was amazing upon checkin. I didn't sample the "at checkin" cookies--just know they were there! Breakfast was adequate with a good variety of choices. But the coffee? It was life-changing. Both the regular and decaf were comparable to Starbucks hot brew--but maybe even better at Garner. The gal that checked us out heard us talking about visiting the distillery and offered us a coupon for a free appetizer at their restaurant. Will definitely return to Garner over the more recognized "hotel brands" in Clarksville in the future.

No coffee in the rooms, you have to borrow an ice bucket from the front desk, and because of all the construction workers staying there, wait til after 630am to shower. Really? Theres no hot water at 9pm either. Maybe instead of throwing the construction guys under the bus, you get a bigger hot water tank. Its clean and new but the "rules" are too weird for me to recommend this place.

The breakfast buffet was really good, when we stayed there was scrambled eggs with all the fixings for making an egg burrito. Of course there was all the other typical hotel buffet stuff. The only thing I will say negative is if you get put in a room in the back (interstate side) you may hear trucks occasionally during the night. But will we stay here again, heck yeah!

Dirty hotel, dirty elevator, dirty hallways, clean rooms. Staff was very friendly, but the place was disgusting.

This is my second stay at this hotel. It is a very nice hotel and the staff is very friendly.

Kenny was great at the front desk. He gave us a new room after our first one smelled like some smoked a carton of cigarettes in it. Our second room was better but there was no hot water when I went to shower at 830pm and the shower needed to be cleaned there was someone elses hair on the shower wall. Overall hotel stay was just average. 3 out of 5 stars.

Parking was easy and close. Chris was great for check in and anything we needed.

Room was not clean. We could literally see dust and stuffs in and around the bed on the corners. Carpet was pretty old in both room and hallways. Good thing was that the bathroom was clean and fresh. Breakfast was also pretty simple without anything special.

The room was decent, but it wasn’t anything to brag about or wasn’t even a four out of five star. It was just a normal room breakfast that was free still wasn’t worth the money one day. Our room was very clean but the bathroom reeked of cigarette smoke. The desk was very busy and the hotel seemed very booked so we decided not to complain. We could sleep ok with the bathroom door closed. The Desk was informed of the issue when we checked out.

Ive booked here twice before this stay and have always loved the cleanliness and location BUT i do have 2 small children who look forward to swimming and eveeytime ive booked the pool has been closed which ends up causing a huge meltdown with my special needs daughter. I know thing happen but 3 times in 8 months starts tobfeel a littlest ridiculous.

When I made my reservation I reserved a king room I came in and checked in and went to get something to eat before I went to the room when I got back to the room it was a double and not a king so I went back down to the front desk and Ashley the lady that worked there told me there was no more king rooms available but it said there was when I made the reservation and the water wasn't hot it was just like warm

Booked this for grandkids to swim. They couldn’t because there was a sign. On the door saying the pool was taking a spa day. The heater stopped working. Otherwise hotel was great.

Kenny at the front desk was great. The room was soso, ware and tear. Breakfast wasn't much so we didn't partake. Build your own breakfast sandwich, only had egg rounds, bacon and small pancakes. So not sure what build your own meant.

The carpet was dirty in the room and the heat was not working making the indoor pool freezing. The staff was nice though.

Friendliness of staff and location of property. Ice water is not readily available in the kitchen area, to fill a water bottle for travel. I was instructed to get ice from an ice machine near the lobby, and water from a plastic dispenser in the breakfast area. I was unable to do either due to the size of my water bottle. The kind desk attendant keyed me into the exercise room to access the water cooler; this was empty and the room was not clean and smelled very moldy. After informing the desk attendant of the empty cooler, she provided me with 2 bottles of water, catching me outside before we left. How nice of her!!

The staff was so very kind. I stayed while driving through during a winter storm of ice that had knocked out power to 100,000 people in Nashville, Tennessee. It was much appreciated that I could stop before Nashville in Clarksville and have a restful stay. I enjoyed chatting with the staff. I felt safe and the property was in good shape with cleared entry to the hotel when I arrived to park and unload.

This is a very nice hotel with very friendley workers. Kenny was great. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was hot and delicious. We were on the area, for the big snow storm. We canceled our last night with no issues, and full refund for the night. Will definitley stay here aagain

The hotel was great. Clean, breakfast included, everything we expected from the IHG name. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Kenny, the night clerk, made us feel welcome and had us laughing immediately with his humor. He also assured us that he would make sure our reservation was not canceled when we arrived later than expected due to inclement weather on the return trip. I did not catch the morning clerk’s name, but she was great as well. She gave my dogs treats and pets and made them feel welcome too. Five days later, when we were checking out in the morning, she saw me with the pups and remembered them by name! The food service ladies were also very friendly and pleasant. We will be back if we find ourselves in the area again. Highly recommended!

Upon check in, I was told the room I had originally reserved was not available but they had something else avail. I agreed to when making my way up to my room that elevator had a puddle with a strong Urine smell. When I got my room, I noticed the chair and floor was covered in dog hair.

I booked a handicap accessible room for the walk in shower because the website didn't show a walk in shower option. After using the room we booked, water went allllll over the bathroom from the shower. I went to the desk and they immediately made arrangements and put us in a great room with a walk-in shower. They were so prompt at making it right. Very happy.

The gentlemen at check in was so friendly and nice! He was personable. The room was clean, hotel in a good location by Cracker barrel. The lady at check out was just as amazing. Very helpful and my kids enjoyed the breakfast!

Registration was awesome, the front desk clerk Kenny was super helpful and extremely polite. The premises were very quiet, and we felt safe. We simply liked this place. It was our 1st time staying at any Gardner Hotel. The next time we visit our family in Clarksville, we will return.

We’ve stayed here before and chose to stay again. It’s comfortable and we love having real cooked oatmeal for breakfast! Most places don’t offer it.

For a practically brand new hotel it was very dingy. Dirt on the walls, light switch and the bottom off my shower were grimy and there was hair on my toilet seat. The staff was friendly and helpful but not a very clean hotel.

Nice hotel. Met our needs. It appears to be a brand new hotel. Clean. Courteous staff. The properties on each side of the hotel appear to be construction sites. We didn't hear any construction noise, but it looks as if construction is about to commence.

That being said, the hotel is right off the highway and incredibly loud. There is no sound proofing in the rooms at all it felt like. The rooms also felt very damp, and they had notices everywhere that the sprinkler and fire systems weren’t working, so maybe there was a leak in the system making the hotel very humid. The bed felt wet and like we were sleeping on a 30 year old mattress. Unfortunately will not be booking again, and was upset that the reviews were good for the hotel when I felt like it was very misleading.

Front desk Chris was very nice and gave us a new room, which was better than the first. He made the stay a little more enjoyable, very hospitable.

I love pets but being pet friendly we were woke up 4 times by dogs barking and we could hear outside noise from cars while we were sleeping as well. It was clean and the staff was extremely nice.

Even after asking two times a day for three days of my four day stay my room was never cleaned. Also they don’t take cash at all which I feel like any business in America should take cash. Staff was nice, but didn’t follow through on having my room cleaned.

Our stay would’ve been perfect but the elevator didn’t work the whole weekend we were there. So every time we left our room we had to walk up and down the stairs and we were on the 3rd floor. Also the bed wasn’t comfortable either. The Staff was Great and the fresh baked cookies every evening were delicious.

Checked in on a Saturday around 4pm. On initial entry to hotel, it smelled of cigarette smoke. Not a good first impression. There was only one person working and she was very kind. Although she then told us that the elevator was out of service so the stairs would have to be used. We only had one bag so it wasn’t that big of a deal. She put us on the second floor, so we wouldn’t have to travel too far. Although when arriving in our room, it rate of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The TV didn’t work/also was not connected to Internet. Tried to call down from phone in room, but it said it was out of service. So we had to walk back down to the front desk to notify. She put us in a different room this room being on the fourth floor. Which added additional sets of stairs. This room was more suitable with no eww smells and TV worked. I will say the Airconditioner for the fourth floor must’ve been broken because the hallway was super hot. Our room did stay somewhat cool. At this point, we were just ready to get settled in. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel is for the breakfast. It was mediocre. More choices than just bagel and muffin, but still nothing to great. If I was to do it over, I would stay at another hotel and not worry about breakfast supplied.

Stayed here for the first time and was impressed with everything from check in to the room. I needed a room for the night as I was stopping in town before heading to Gatlinburg and meeting my fiance. This was by far the best hotel. Of the 3 others we stayed in and Everytime I come back to Clarksville I am booking at this hotel as long as it stays like this. I would highly recommend this place.

But I do believe housekeeping was not getting our request for clean towels and vacumming. Not sure why? Literally had to stop and ask house keeping one day for towels and to vaccum.

Enjoyed a Monday through Friday stay it was quiet, loved the wooded courtyard scenery from the room. The restaurants connected were fabulous.

The pool was a little small, but my granddaughter loved it! The breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly and considerate!

Everything was fine but they were having hot water issues. The shower was ok but not as warm/hot as it should be. The front desk did acknowledge and offered another room to use for showering but it wasn’t really convenient.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay around Clarksville this is it. For the price it’s clean enough, safe and easy to get to. It is not without flaws however; from the man taking his “break” in our room when we checked in to the air making our room damp all night…I guess you get what you pay for. We don’t hold it against them and never complained but don’t think we will be back. It was worth a shot.

We stayed here for a quick overnight visit while we were relocating across country. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are a bit on the small side, and the in-room amenities are limited (no in-room coffee maker or desk area), but it was fine for a single night stay. The adjoining rooms were nice since we are a family of five. We appreciated that they welcomed our pup (and were VERY friendly toward him). The staff was very helpful and made check-in easy. The included breakfast was also nice.

Our stay was amazing! The hotel was really clean! The staff was amazing and allowed us to do an early check in. After driving 11 hours, that was a great surprise!

This is a no frills hotel off a busy intersection of Clarksville.

The trip in itself was beautiful and the present of our hotel and room was also. The young man Kenny was the best. Very welcoming when you got there. High 5 for Kenny.

The rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. I reserved two rooms but we were separated on different floors. They put my daughter two floors up and away from me. Pet friendly should be organized differently.

We had the safety latch on and no one knocked after. Shortly afterwards the phone rang and it was the front desk wanting my name: apparently they gave our room to someone else while we were already checked in…. And gave the other people a key card to our occupied room. They wanted to verify who was already in the room. In addition to the security issue - resolving the issue with a phone call woke up my sleeping kids. It was clean ish - dated and felt a little grimy… the toilet seat rocked when you sat on it and carpets didn’t feel super clean. Overall it was fine, we slept in a bed which I am always thankful for, but I wouldn’t pay to stay here again.
