Staff was not helpful during the check-in process. They became much better a day or two later. The breakfast food was cold. (Egg patties were like they just took them out of the refrigerator), the biscuits broke apart as soon as you touched them. The remaining portion of my visit I went next door to the Waffle House.I cut my visit short by one day because of my experience. I will never recommend the hotel.

The pool was out of service. The washer/dryer worked well. Staff was excellent. Place was clean with great breakfast choices. We would stay there again.

The only problem we encountered was our door key pad battery died and we were locked out of the room for a couple of hours. The front desk manager was very helpful, got us in the room to get what we needed and she was very nice! The only other thing I noticed was the shower curtain rod was hung at a slant and didn’t allow the curtain to stay fully closed, because it would slide down. That was very minor. Overall, for the price, I would definitely stay again. The beds were nice, wonderful water pressure, and great AC!

The room could have been cleaner. It was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was fine. We are gold level Wyndham members and asked for late check out and were denied. We left a little bit after 11.

First off the pictures posted of this hotel are very deceiving. Even the lobby didn’t even look the” same. There was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom on the back of the door. So that made me think what else could be in here dirty and not cleaned up. We went to get breakfast this morning and the choices and amount of things that were out was shameful. We turned around and went right back out. I always use my Choices appt for hotel service and booking but we decided we would give Hotels.com a try and this hotel looked amazing. Needless to say we were fooled! We will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Bathroom was a little cramped and bed was too close to the wall to get in, however a really nice place to stay and I would stay there again. Another thing the breakfast for being continental was fantastic!

They list this as a hotel, but it is a motel. The doors face and open to the parking lot. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest - there was long black hair on the shampoo and a towel. However the beds were super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great.

Our only head shaking issue was checking in. When directing us to our room the lady insisted that to stay dry, it was lightly drizzling at that time, we needed to drive around the back of the building to find the stairs. When showing us the map it looked like the stairs were very near the office area. We questioned her and both times she repeated with a bit of exasperation her directions to drive around the building to park. When we arrived we found the stairs to be an inside hallway that could be accessed from just outside the office or the back parking area. We did not need to go around the building, move our car or get drizzled on again to get to our room! It made us shake our heads on why she directed us to do all of this. Overall a nice place to stay for a night.

This isn’t one of those fancy, all inclusive type stops, but it’s very comfortable, well taken care of, the staff is amazing, and there’s a Waffle House right outside. It really was a great stay.

Everything was excellent for this very reasonably priced hotel except for the outdoor pool. I think it was open, but it did not look visually clean as the bottom looked like it was coated with green slime?? Maybe it was just a visual thing and we had no intention of even using it, but I was not going to chance it. As I said everything else besides the pool was excellent.

I had the room with the kitchenette. It was like brand new. One of the best kitchenette suites I’ve been in.

Not a good experience !!! hotel refused to authorize early checkout, one night early due to family emergency therefore, last night stay was not refunded, will never use that hotel chain again nor Hotels.com again third-party reservations have proved to be not worth the savings

The fridge actually had a separate freezer section! The breakfast includes waffles, biscuits and white gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, etc!

We had a great stay. I was a little worried because our room was on the end closest to the road - but the sound did not bother us at all. If I concentrated I could hear cars, but not enough to keep me from sleeping (and I'm a light sleeper!). The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable (we like firm), and the staff was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff here were wonderful, very friendly and attentive. They really made this place so much better. The food and rooms were nice. Very good mattresses. The area surrounding the hotel wasn't great (and I was expecting indoor access to rooms, not outdoor). There was construction noise early in the morning, but my kids liked watching the construction, so it wasn't a negative for us, but may be for many travellers.

Room was fair. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Contacted office and was instructed to cut on exhaust fan in the bathroom. He said it must be coming from someone in another room and that the rooms were all connected, whatever that means. Hot breakfast was the same every morning. By that I mean sausage patties, what looked like flat round egg patties, biscuits and gravy. No alternating or choice of bacon,scrambled eggs. Did have cereal, muffins, waffles etc., and of course beverages. It’s located in what someone said was the good part of town, a little farther out than I had thought or wanted to be from my actual destination, but I wasn’t very familiar with all the areas that have grown since I was a kid. The guy in the room next door had a car that the security system kept going off. About the third time it went off, I looked out the door and he was out there and told me his car was sensitive. He said he usually goes outside with his gun when the alarm goes off. I wasn’t sure if he was an extended resident there or not. Oh well. If you are looking for a fair place to lay your head and no bells and whistles, then this is the place for you.

Staff was extremely courteous and the rooms offered free coffee, a 40" TV, hair dryer, plenty of towels and wash rags, and comfortable queen size beds. The mini fridge was an adequate size for just a 2 night stay, and the microwave worked great. Rooms were clean.

It was not apparent while booking the room that the doors were on the outside. My family did not feel safe so we tried to cancel. The hotel said hotels.com charged me so they had to refund. However, hotels.com said it was up to the hotel.

This was our second time staying at this hotel for an overnight stop during a long road trip and we will likely stay here again in the future.

Housekeeper was too clean. Rearranged shoes left on the floor and other personal items. Friendly personnel. Very welcoming. Did not like having to enter room from the outisde. I'm a northern midwest person who is used to the cold but did not appreciate having to exit room outside and to go inside have breakfast.

The Mexican restaurant next door has happy hour from 4-7 and offers a discount if you show them your hotel room key. Room has an iron, refrigerator and microwave as well as a safe. Bathroom has dove products and a hair dryer. This was a last minute stop and we took a bit of a risk randomly picking this hotel and we are very pleased with our stay

The fitness center was closed and it was pretty noisy since it is on a busy road. We could hear the TV next door at 4 am. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The front desk person was great. There was a couple before me checking in who was very rude to the staff member and i believe he handled himself so well.

The staff was very professional and courteous towards me during my staff and they even worked with me to make my booking happen, it was a pleasant experience all in all.

My sisters and I stayed at BAYMONT from November 29th-31st. The rooms were clean and staff cordial. THE ONLY THING WE DID NOT LIKE WAS THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS INSIDE!! Our rooms were on the back side of the hotel and if we wanted breakfast ( which was excellent)) we had to walk or take our car-IT was 20-30 degrees both days.Very unpleasant. If you’re considering this hotel and have a handicap, this is not the place for you. If my husband , who is blind, had been with me, we would need to find another place to stay.

My room had a leaking faucet. The stairwells seemed not cleaned.

After collecting the keys, we discovered we'd been assigned a standard handicap-accessible room—not a suite as mentioned. Upon inspecting the room more closely, I found the cleaning to be subpar. Surfaces appeared hastily wiped down, the vacuuming was incomplete with visible debris in several areas, and the bed linens had stains and marks underneath. Given our exhaustion and the late hour, I opted not to request another room change and we proceeded to stay the night. While the staff members were courteous and pleasant throughout our interactions, the room conditions were unacceptable. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this Baymont location.

However, the next day I noticed the room was not refreshed as it should have been. My towels were not replaced, the bed wasn’t made, and the trash didn’t have a new liner put in. Since I was traveling alone, it wasn’t a huge issue for me personally, but it is something future guests may want to be aware of—especially if they expect daily room service or more consistent housekeeping. Overall, it was an acceptable stay, but the hotel could definitely improve its cleaning and room upkeep between nights.

I can see why this hotel has a display of awards as they were wonderful. From check in to advice on where to eat dinner was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable and quite frankly the staff made it most enjoyable. The pool is outside and not available. Since it was November, it made sense. A five star stop for a weary traveler.

The hotel was not described accurately on the booking site description. This is a motel! The rooms all exit to outdoors and right at the parking spaces. This did not give me a sense of security at all. If the hotel is like this with no interior rooms, it needs to be described that way. This was a bait and switch.

This hotel's bed is insanely comfortable as well as their pillows. The AC/Heater is quiet. Some of the best sleep I ever have had. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Almost makes it so you don't want to get out. Staff are very friendly and very efficient. Great location next to the Waffle House.

Staff at check-in was great. Friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Room was overall clean, but I didn’t give stars for two reasons: a hair was in the bathtub from a previous guest or staff member and the drain plug was left, out of the sink, on the counter, and you could see mold on it. Those are two things that I find particularly gross in any bathroom anywhere in the world, so I couldn’t give five stars for cleanliness. Everything else was fine. We’d stay there again if in the area.

I asked the staff if the hotel was built recently. Then they pointed at their awards table that went back 4 years, and said it had been built many years ago but renovated a couple years back. This is not a new property and it shows a little wear but it was clean and mostly quiet and right off the highway. I liked the early 6 am breakfast so we could eat and get on the road early. The pool and fitness center looked to be in good shape and i saw a couple of people using the laundry so it was working.

The pool provided an excellent experience. Breakfast was satisfactory. The bed offered a comfortable night's rest. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained.

Everything was as advertised. Not a brand new place so there was some wear and tear but not excessive. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they provided a good breakfast.

It was in a good location. So close to commercial centers.

Convenient restaurants for dinner

Everything is just as it should be. The motel shows some wear but, most do. It was in a quiet area and felt safe.

Wasn’t what I expected as a Baymont because it’s All exterior door entry. Everything was clean and in good working condition. Friendly staff. Beautiful pool. Great breakfast.

Right off the hwy, next to a waffle house. Area seemed sketchy but never saw anyone wandering about. Breakfast was standard and convenient. Outside pool was nice. Tub faucet dripped, but you couldn't hear it and was drain was too slow for a shower. Could've used a resurfacing and paint correction. Price point was good for what you get. Hotel grounds well maintained and clean.

Tyler called to check on when we were arriving. He suggested a restaurant and was very nice. Pillows and bed were comfortable.

Close to fast food, at hotel good breakfast and comfy bed. Staff was nice and have no complaints other than getting an upstairs room and there is not an elevator. Pool area looked good but we did not use. Stopping overnight only to continue our trip. Would stay again!

They were very accommodating for what I needed. Breakfast hours during the week should be earlier.

Check-in was efficient and Danelle was very helpful to accommodate our request. The room was clean and quiet. Very reasonably priced and good location just off of Hwy 24.

Friendly staff and clean

They will not accept your tax exempt form and this was a government trip and when I returned I caught hell from the accounting department about why there was taxes on the bill. I advised them the staff advised me they didn't accept them and they didn't have to and that is there policy.

When we arrived check in was good. They called to check on us as we had gotten lost. Room was warm, we expected it to be cooled down because we had reservations. There was Fruit Loops on the floor by the bed when we got there and were still there when we checked out even though the room service had been in to do light cleaning, replacing used towels, etc

We keep coming back to this hotel because it is affordable, clean, staff is great, kids love the pool, safe area, usually quiet, and breakfast in the morning is always great.

The ac didnt work very well in the room. The bess were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. The room smelled and the continental breakfast left much to be desired

Staff was very friendly and everything seemed fairly clean. It is a little close to the road so traffic noise could be heard all night. Only complaint would be it was a little dated and the shower could have used new caulk to make it look better.

The property is dated and is showing its age. My room was missing at work (exposed hooks on wall), ,plaster was peeling, and the 17 ounce body wash in the shower was empty. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Comfortable, quiet place to stay, right off the main thruway. Breakfast had some good options.

The gentleman was nice and friendly, he told me the phone I might have to wait as he had to lock the pool up. But I hot there later then I thought and still had to wait. But gave him the benefit of the doubt that he could have had something else he had to handle as well. But the room needed vacuuming and the bathrooms were dirty on the floors.Tub had grout that had black mold on it. You can tell an attempt to vacuum was made.But the corners were not done in the bathroom corners were dirty and trash was on the floor. But again the gentleman at the front desk was nice and friendly.

Very helpful staff

Breakfast was ok. Your average continental. Enjoyed that coffee was in the lobby most of the day. Again, the staff really made the difference.

Very very clean. Nice staff. Plenty of clean fluffy towels. Amazing place for the price.

Only problem was that it was a little noisy at night outside room from people coming and going

We booked our stay here last minute. Wouldn't return. Was not super clean, the room looked run down, very dank and darkish. Wouldnt return. The stafd was the only highlight. They were all nice.

The staff was very accommodating. We arrived late and needed a lower level room. The front desk person said he had one room left. It appeared the room had not been serviced in a while, dusty, a stray hair in sink & tub. Over all for the price, it was a decent room and we have stayed in a lot worse.

I paid $120 per night, all in, which is about right for the area. Even though it's located on MLK Dr it was in a safe area and right off the X-Way. The hotel staff was Great. A-1 people who went over and above. The pool area outside was clean, safe, & maintained. The breakfast was awful. Not the staffs fault, but processed crap, unless you ate the fruit or a waffle? The biggest downfall was the bathroom was in need of updating by a professional. Anyone can smear caulk and rub it around a tub and toilet with their finger to cover leaks and old mold, but that's exactly what it looks like when your done. Do it right and it will pay off in the long run. People want clean and it was noticeable. It concerned me about being sanitary or hiding something. Clean means everything. That was the major disappointment of the stay. The best asset without a doubt was the Staff once again. Hands down they all take pride in working there and making everyone comfortable. I will return and stay there. I give it a C+ overall.

Hotel is nice and clean but not handicap accesible. No elevator and beds are very high to try and get in.

Room was in a great location and very clean. Fridge/freezer and microwave, thankfully. Thanks for having Dove in the bathroom.

Overall great experience. The breakfast left a little to be desired.

Convenient & comfortable

Paint was falling from the ceiling. Bedding was moist and there was an odor in the room.

We had to make a very quick trip from central Florida to Chicago and back. We stopped here on the way up. It was so clean, quiet, restful and convenient that we decided to stay on our way home.

Great hotel, convenient park if you have a 1st floor room. Beds were super comfortable. Room was updated and clean. Nice outdoor pool, nice laundry room and vending area. My only complaint is a dirty towel was behind the bathroom door upon check-in and the bathroom floor was dirty and had not been cleaned. I would stay again

The Baymont is my go to when I’m traveling north. Being a single traveler I feel very safe. The room is always clean. Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Stood at desk for at least 15 minutes before someone came to help me check in. Room had a heavy chlorine smell

Clean and good cost-effectiveness

This was a decent place to stay if needed. We got 2 rooms for our family with younger kids because the booking online said they offered joining rooms but when we got there they said they didn’t have any and that was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. It was a pain having to go back and forth between rooms and it was false advertisement, but the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The laundry was $2.50 a load and up if you wanted different options. The rooms were basic so overall it wasn’t too bad.

The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean. The pool was nice and breakfast the next morning was great. The morning staff at the desk and the gentleman servicing the dining room were so friendly!
