Construction was happening while we were at the hotel, locks were being changed while we were in our rooms, could not get in the hotel after hours with our hotel key and many other things. Overall not the best experience I’ve had with a Hampton inn. The staff was very nice though.

Daily maid service was great

Kind of a small room to have a king size bed! Small bathroom and shower as well! After plugging in my electronics, could not find a plug in for the coffee maker. The breakfast was okay!

The breakfast was OK, but the traffic was pretty loud The coffee pot had a broken hinge and it was put away previously with the start switch activated, so as soon as I plugged it in it started spitting out water (not a big deal). The spicket on the bathroom sink was not secured properly so when you tried to move it, it was loose (there again, not a big deal, but). We don't use Inns that often, but this is the first room I have ever stayed in that didn't post the checkout time on the entry door of the room, also not a big deal.

The biggest negative was the rooms are very very small! Made coming and going to a wedding, reception, etc difficult with the tight quarters. For a Hampton Inn, we very surprised, for what it lacked! Older and at a lower standard.

The rooms were so clean and comfortable and cozy- I brought my puppy and they were so kind to him , there was an outdoor area with “poo” bags which was super useful as I forgot ours….. the staff were so friendly and accommodating! Will 100 % stay here again!

everything was great super clean & comfortable it was super convenient to have an outlet on the other side of the bed higher up on the wall i love Hilton hotels & they're actually affordable apparently the ceiling decided to drip as we were packing up (only 1 drop landed on me thankfully & I was more concerned about how much it's gonna suck to find where its leaking from) & my ac didnt have an option to stay on all the time but its not the end of the world my son slept great

We typically love this place and consider it our home away from home. The computer system was down and although we had a reservation, we were unable to stay. We ended up having to drive across town to a Hilton property at the airport and paid about 70 dollars more for a comparable room. Today, I called to ask about a possible discount on a room, given the situation last night. I was offerred a rate nearly identical to that charged by booking, which was of little use. We booked a room for the night anyway, and have been placed into a room that is not nearly as clean as weve come to expect and that has a windows which opens facing a concrete wall. We have stayed at this hotel over 10 times in the past 8 weeks. Normally, everything is wonderful. This time around,, we are disappointed.

Even though we were facing the freeway, once I was out I heard nothing!! The linens were nice, weight of the bed coving perfect, the choice of pillows was a thoughtful option! The tv was a great size! And the breakfast was a treat! It was a great place To call home for two nights! Thank you!

This property was almost done with a refresh they were doing. All in all it was well kept and the staff was attentive.

The guy at the front desk was super dismissive and not helpful. They charge a $50 flat fee for pets which is nice if you stay a while but not nice if it’s only for a night. Location is by the freeway but the area is seedy. Room was very cramped, shower pressure terrible but it was hot. Breakfast had options but none tasted very good. The place smells like chemicals. Not happy for the price.

The whole facility was extremely clean. The room was great and the bed was really nice. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay in this area

Rooms are small but adequate. The hotel is dated but going through upgrades as of stay which made it difficult to get around especially with a wheelchair.

Located in the business area, so it’s not quite place. Close to main road, better not to leave anything in the car. But rooms are nice and clean, with all the necessities. Breakfast had good variety of food and snacks.

The parking was safe and easy, the room was nice and clean. The staff was efficient and curteous.

Hotel was fine however was not impressed with complimentary breakfast staff as the man tending to the breakfast area was sweating and wiping his brow and would come out of the kitchen chewing food. Sometimes he would not have gloves.

Room was a bit tight. Renovation happening, so it was noisy at times. We were on the “quiet side” away from the freeway. Good breakfast.

Breakfast buffet was one of the best i have experienced.

Hotel being remodeled- has strong artificial smells but the windows opened and we were able to air it out. Hot tub was highly over chlorinated and hurt our eyes so we didn’t spend long which sucked cause we really needed a hot tub. New designs and updates were nice but too many strong chemical smells. Pet policy sucks at $50/ night per dog. It’s not a deposit. Had to leave our dog in truck all night.

Nice staff, clean quiet rooms, good wi-fi, abundant towels. Fresh coffee available round the clock in the lobby. Between jet lag and the spring clock change I didn't get to try the breakfast. I also did not use any of the other amenities (fitness room/whirlpool/business center) so I can't speak to those. Great little restaurant (Elmer's) a literal 5 min walk from the hotel and there is a McDonald's, a 7-11 and a gas station mart even closer. Easy on and off the highway, but not in a "pretty area". Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The building is a bit old and outdated. They have tried to freshen it up I think with the entrance. The room was old and ver small.

Great place to stay. Staff was very attentive and reached out to make sure my stay was going well. Loved the decor, very up to date, lots of set ups for all your electronics. Excellent breakfast with multiple options, loved the fresh blueberries and strawberries and whip cream for the waffles. Close to Portland without the cost.

The hot tub was not hot enough and wish was an indoor pool and Sauna.

Great place to stay, right off the freeway. Hotel was quiet and clean, the grounds around the hotel property were well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our compliant was the oatmeal was soggy and appeared to be leftovers from day before. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and it was quiet. There were hot options for breakfast and they changed daily. The food was fresh and there was an attendant present to replenish food and keep the breakfast area clean. Coffee and tea were available 24 hours and bottled water was complimentary. The staff were friendly and made sure we had what we needed. I liked the fact that check out was at noon and breakfast was served until 10 a.m. I would recommend staying at this facility.

Only issues we had was the staff we did interact with we couldnt fully understand and communication was a little difficult and house keeping knocking when we where still asleep at 9am and daughter aswered the door.

Exceptionally clean room and building, very kind front desk staff. The fresh baked cookies and free water bottles at check in were perfect after a long day on the road. Very quiet, we didn't hear any freeway noise. The hot tub is open 5am-midnight. Breakfast options in the morning were good with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, biscuits/gravy, and baked pastries. Will definitely stay again 😊

The rooms could be a little bigger little on the small side. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable they do give free, bottled water and free freshchocolate chip cookies in the evening.

Showed up midnight and they were baking cookies. Front desk was super nice and helpful when I arrived. Everyone I encountered was courteous and bubbly. Definitely would stay again.

Great staff, very friendly & easy to communicate with. Clean facilities, good breakfast. We stayed here to prepare for & recover from an outpatient surgery at nearby Kaiser. It was perfect! We wet able to easily focus on the surgery, not anything else. Thank you Clackamus Hampton Inn!

This was not a nice Hampton Inn, in a not particularly nice neighborhood next to a highway. But my main reason for rating it “Poor” was that the shower was broken and could not provide hot (or even warm) water. I had booked a room with 2 beds since my grown daughter was staying with me and when I requested a different room I was informed that there was no other room available with 2 beds. So we took cold showers for the weekend. I am not a complainer and I am pretty easygoing generally but it was ridiculous to me that a Hampton Inn would allow a room like this to stay open for reservations. Very disappointing.

Room needs an upgrade. Mattress needs to be retired. Room smelled damp. Air conditioning wasn’t super great and could run the fan with it all the time. Breakfast is always good

The staff was kind, the breakfast provided was excellent, and grounds were clean. It was just the smell of the room was off-putting.

It was okay overall but the AC was a little loud that it drowned the TV volume. It was also confusing to operate.

Very clean and very friendly staff. I love that they also have full shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the shower and if you forget some toiletries such as toothpaste or a razor they will give you one upon request. They will also check in on you through text to make sure your stay is comfortable.

I always love to come and stay here because of the stuff. They are always the same people who are professional, friendly and they been with the company for years. That shows me that they are not always changing stuff. This lasts two times I have stayed with them my only complaint is that their beds aren't comfortable anymore. It's getting to that point where they needeto make updates because boy, my back is in major pain and can't sleep. And definitely a few more pillows won't hurt either.

Came for a 3-night business trip. Located conveniently, but the rooms are old, smell old, and aren't well cleaned. Hairs in the shower/floating around the sink, stained chairs in the room.

The property on the outside is nice, but our room was on the first floor and had a terrible smell. It was also much smaller than in looked in the picture. The shower was terrible. The curtain didn’t even cover enough of the tub so everything was soaked. It also didn’t feel very clean. I would not stay again.

Least favorite Hampton stay ever. Very small bathroom with towels on shelves so high we almost couldn’t reach them. Misc wall plugs didn’t work at all. Bed was “noisy” every time I turned over. Will choose a different HI in the Portland area in the future.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Clackamas during a difficult time while our dog was having radiation therapy nearby. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating with all of our needs. The free breakfast was great, and there were many choices. The grounds were beautiful and offered nice places to sit outside. Beautiful view of Mt. Hood from the parking lot!

We had a nice stay at the Hampton Inn in Clacklamas. The room was comforable, clean and cozy. It was close to the highway but be room was very quiet. The bathroom was somewhat small & the handle to the shower while my wife was shoering. The breakfast was fairly good. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful.

We enjoyed our one night stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable—great night’s sleep! Breakfast was good and hot, there was a good variety of choses for breakfast. Good coffee! The chocolate chip cookies were yummy too.
