Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Eastgate

This was our first time staying at Fairfield Inn and we were happy with our booking. We were welcomed by friendly staff and were able to access our room which was conveniently located on the first floor. The room and bathroom were both clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the breakfast spread and were glad to have hard boiled eggs, Belgian waffles, bacon, and cereal. Our kids enjoyed the hotel, although we did not find time to swim or use the workout facilities, they both appeared clean and quaint. This hotel was conveniently located near the freeway as well as the family we were visiting. Shopping and restaurants were nearby - although most were not within walking distance. We had a very positive experience!

All employees performed superbly in housekeeping and at the front desk. Also all made us feel at home and offered to help on anything we needed. Our room was 227 and I think something should be done about the safety in the bathroom shower. I am an older adult with some physical limitations such that I want something that I can hold onto in case I might fall. Have not fallen yet but was truly concerned that there was literally nothing I could have reached to give support if I had slipped or lost balance. I limited my shower to my upper body and my hair while remaining on the bathroom floor. This is a possible hazard that could be remedied with minimal investment while also protecting the hotel from possible future liability if someone is hurt while showering.

Good hotel close to where we needed to be.

Had to ask for towels and coffee after check in since they hadn’t been provided in room. The door to the room was very heavy to open. No bench or seating provided out side for smokers.

Waffles were good, other breakfast items just ok.

Clean. Comfortable. Beds could use a refresh but clean.

Stayed one night. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a lot of option, fresh and warm. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Expedia says the 2 Queen room sleeps 5 people. However, there are only two queen beds and no couch or other sleeping arrangement (rollaway bed, etc). The room does NOT sleep 5.

No complaints whatsoever.

Great varieties for the breakfast and great staff to go with it.

The room itself was average, but as a single woman traveling I was disappointed that the front desk clerk gave me a first floor room with an adjoining room. I would have asked to change rooms but the check in process alone took a very loooong time, and he really seemed to be struggling with it. I had plans and didn’t have time to wait. I just felt uncomfortable when I got back.

Breakfast was included Still waiting for my receipt to be emailed to me. At checkout, the system was down. I was told that a receipt would be sent via email.

Check in took too long. Room had no wash clothes. Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Hangers on couch. Won’t stay again!

POOL AND GYM WERE CLOSED WITHOUT NOTIFYING US!!!! We booked a hotel looking for a pool and gym to use. We were so disappointed to find both closed with signs up. If I had known there was no pool I would have booked somewhere else!!!

The lighting was poor.
