Easy to access with a clean room! Look forward to stay there again.

Paid before arrival on Booking. Front desk lady wanted me to pay twice. Stated that when you pay on booking it’s only a “Booking.com Fee” and not for the actual room. I was very confused and showed her the receipts and everything that I had paid. Woman talked down to me regarding my confusion and was told to either pay or not have a room. We called booking.com support for help. They confirmed I did pay and it was my right to the rooms I paid for. Location refused to service us. Once booking.com made us aware of refusal and offered assistance in finding a new place this location called me. Basically scolded me for calling customer support. Constantly talked over me and interrupted me. Told me just to come back and pay them and they’ll give me a room. Politely Declined paying double and made them aware that I would be finding somewhere else to stay. Absolutely shocked at how the staff speak to customers. I’ve never had an interaction like this before. Would have considered paying double and taking it up with booking later if she wasn’t so rude and disrespectful.

It was adequate. This property is the only viable option in Chillicothe, so it’s not like I had much of a choice.

It is a bit dated, but very clean room and linens.

Very friendly & welcoming staff. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. Not luxurious, but perfect if you need a nice quiet comfortable affordable clean place to stay. This location was very convenient for me and I was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely stay there again!

Property was newly remodeled and the rooms were in excellent shape. It was continently located by walking distance to an excellent restaurant that was great food and a very well priced! It is on a road but the noise is not bad because the road was really not traveled that bad after 10pm.

Only hotel in Chillicothe and it was for the most part clean. Floors needed swept and mopped. They were tile and pretty dirty. Tv only had like 10channels and all but 4 had the same tv show on marathon all day and night. Not bad for the price. Elevator was sketchy and the breakfast was almost nothing but coffee and a couple yogurts and you could make waffles if you wanted. Not horrible and would likely stay again but would bring a few more things to make it more comfortable and pleasant.

Walked into the room and instantly a cockroach crawled across the floow. Yes google images confirmed it was a cockroach. I told the front desk and he didn't even seem suprised.

I have stayed here before and enjoy it. The room is always clean and fresh and has everything you need. I had to arrive very late and was greeted promptly.

Not exactly dirty, but not overly clean. Smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, a couple of dead spiders on the floor, and we woke up bug bites.

Motel was clean. Breakfast was adequate. Bed was king size but absolutely terrible! The sides were so broken down when you attempted to get in bed that you thought you were going to end up sitting on the floor. Neither my husband nor I got any good rest. I may have slept an hour!

Unable to complete a review as we had to cancel our trip due to Illness. We are waiting for word on a refund of our charges.

Only negative is that each night the rail road workers staying at the motel had a little outside party each night while we were there. They were not a problem but they left their cigarette butts and bottle caps all over the parking lot. I highly recommend this motel if you are staying in Chillicothe. I also never give a 10 on a review, 9's are not bad - Bill & Lisa

I am surprise that there has no breakfast this morning so we went out to eat at restaurant for breakfast today.. 7/22/2023!

Bath tub grimy, had to flash toilet manually after taking top off tank, dirt/mud on floor and breakfast options very limited. Bed clean and comfortable.

Bugs in the room, very noisy air conditioners in room and even worse clunky noises from air conditioner in lobby. Hard to sleep with the noise from the A/C

Couldn’t flush or even use our bathroom cause it was clogged and couldn’t get anyone at the front desk to tell them about the issues

The room was cold, they didn’t prepare the room temperature wise. The was clean and tidy.

Great price for what you get. Bed was hard and no Wi-Fi the tv kept going out signal was not working right.

The room was clean the bedding top cover was nice but the flannel sheet cover needs replacing it was not new. The plumbing in the bathroom especially with the tub the shower head and drain we’re rusty and it automatically filled up. Also the shower curtain is old the bathtub floor felt yucky. For the price it was okay. It smelled like curry and the room had a strong smell rusty water. The heater works extremely hot the temperature setting for low heat doesn’t really work. Once again for the price it’s not bad. The towels are also old no fluff in them. It is what it is! It was semi decent.

Nice place for the price. Didn't like shampoos ect. not sealed. Stained/Dirty mattress pad. Found old plastic soda lid in the blankets. Owners/Front desk people where very pleasant and easy to talk to.

Old hair in the shower, non-smoking room smelled like old cigarettes with hints of air freshener and urine. Floor was so dirty I wore shoes inside. Loud neighbors and HBO froze every time I turned it on.

The location was great for us, the hotel felt safe and beds were very comfortable. Continental breakfast was good.

The hotel has some updating to do, but the room was clean and comfy. The hotel was slow so it was very quiet on our trip. Breakfast was kind of sad, but we stayed for the room, not the food. Some of the reviews say it has a bad smell but we did not experience that at all. We would definitely stay there again.

The smell once you walk in is overpowering. The carpets look like they haven’t been vacuumed in ages. The actual room had stains on bedspread and also smelled old/dirty like it was an old smoking room. The lady at the front desk was pleasant.

The breakfast was not a full breakfast as it was missing milk for the cereal. There were also no protein options such as sausage or eggs. Bread was only option, no bagels, biscuits or pastries available.

Beds were somewhat comfortable room was unclean beyond what my standard clean for a super eight is there was mold over everything and piles and piles of dust on the backs of the TV and less visible services since this is Covid I find the kind of alarming that things are this dusty

This was described by the front desk clerk as a no-smoking hotel, but the room and hallway had a strong smoky smell.

The room appeared to be updated but could've been cleaner, found bugs in multiple places. My room had a jacuzzi which was nice but it could've used hand rails. Service was excellent. For the price, I would recommend!

Walked into the room to find the trash can fill trash on the bed and floor. The bed was in maid looked just like the cleaning crew forgot to come

I don't know that I can fault the new owners much, it sounds like they just took over. With that being said, the place smelt awful. A lot like an ashtray and also old takeout food. The shower held water and didn't drain. There was a burn in the top of our bed cover. The carpet was so dirty I didn't feel comfortable taking my socks off to walk around. And the bed was pretty hard. All in all, it was a place to sleep.

We arrived close to 3am; the wi-fi was down, so the staffer gave us keys and sent us up to the room (through a door at the back of the hotel, as the lobby was locked for the night). The elevator functioned, but I was pretty sure it was going to quit working while we were in it. The room was fine, but it was a borderline "sleep on top of the covers" situation...not the cleanest (and by far, not the worst place we've ever stayed).

Staff was super friendly & helpful. I was here for family, but also working remotely during the day. WIFI was generally ok for most things I needed to accomplish but it did not play well with Zoom or Slack calls. Not sure if the hotel had options for better WIFI connection as I made due with my mobile hotspot when I needed to. Bed was comfortable and hotel was mostly quiet (you can't control other guests noise level).

Bed was comfy but a little on the hard side. Bathroom could have used a little more cleaning and the front entrance was COVERED with spiders. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Facility clean and tidy. Ice machine was broken but was able to get ice at front desk, really not a problem for us. Coffeemaker in room not functioning, but coffee available in lobby and it was good. Adequate breakfast offerings. Will stay again.

The room did not seem clean. The corners of the carpeting were dusty it appeared that they had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The shower/tub did not seem clean. We purchased cleaning supplies at Kroger and we cleaned the shower.

For the price it worked well for me. Staff was very nice. Could use some updating but overall I was happy with my stay.

Close to event i was going to. No other hotel near it. Had no choice to stay anywhere else.

The hotel smells funny, and our room especially had a musty odor like old cigarettes. The drywall in the room had a hole in it. It needs new carpeting throughout. The mattresses were comfortable.

I thought it was weird to enter the hotel to our room from the side door, but it worked.

The location was dated and they charged a higher rate than hotels with similar accommodations. The breakfast bar was items that you had to microwave your self, except for the waffle machine. Rooms were dated and there were cobwebs inside the drawers.

The lobby closed at 10 but there were still people in there at midnight having a party. Normally I wouldn’t object but my room shared a wall with the lobby. When I brought it up with the front desk the next day they told me no one was in there. There was a large crack and water staining on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom door was broken/warped and didn’t close properly the fan in the bathroom was also broke . The walls of this hotel are defiantly thin and I could easily hear the family in the room next to mine even with the tv on. While checking out the worker at the front desk asked if I wanted a receipt, I of course did and she made a comment about how the receipt shows how much sites like Expedia screw them over. It was a very awkward interaction. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by skipping the free breakfast since most of it was still packaged. (I know you get what you pay for).

Other 2nd floor guests stomping through the 2nd floor corridor, knocking on nearby room doors & talking loudly after midnight for hours.

While I've stayed here before and have always had a pleasant stay, this trip was not as enjoyable. The people in the next room were loud. Stomping on the floor and hitting the walls at 3am. The next day when taking a shower, we ran out of hot water. It was disappointing as this is the only decent hotel in town

Just a really disappointing stay. Check In was fine. the room was not very clean - dirty carpet as if it hadn't been swept. A towel in the bathroom had what appeared to be makeup on it. The room just had not been "freshened" in some time. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The decor needs an update. The breakfast was good and plenty except the syrup container was empty. My husband did not feel well Sunday morning and I asked to stay longer than the 11AM check out. The manager could only give us an extra 1/2 hour. There were maybe 5 other rooms rented. Eventually he began to feel well enough that we checked out at !!AM..Just disappointed. We had a much better experience in May. I doubt if I will book there again, although there are few places to stay in the area.

On the negative side, I arrived around 9:30 and there was no staff to check me in. I pushed the call button on the desk 3 times over the next 15 minutes with no results. I finally used a nearby phone. When the clerk arrived he told me not to use the phone, just push the button. I never got an apology.

The heat was not on in our room and the area was experiencing sub zero temperatures. I had to crank the heat and huddle in bed with my daughter until it warmed up in there and we could get ready for bed. Sheets came off easy and towels rough. Overall clean and quiet.

Check in was ok. Bed linens were stained. Sheets wouldn’t tuck in..too small. Tub so worn and scratched it was very slippery..dangerous. Elevator floor was filthy..bugs, cigarette butts (in a non-smoking hotel). Breakfast sparse with yogurt well past use by date. The noise from the highway was very loud all night. We tried to drown it out with the air conditioner, but it rattled worse than the street noise. The price was cheap, proving “you get what you pay for.”

Nice place to stay for the night. Affordable, clean and quiet! About a 20 minute drive to Peoria.
