    Breakfast was amazing. Weekend buffet for $20 was a 10/10 Staff at the hotel was awesome. They make you feel incredibly welcomed. Overall great stay, will definitely be booking again when I need to stay in the Chicagoland area. Easy to get to, right off i55 and a quick trip to the city.

    Booked a 2 queen suite for 1 night. The rooms were very spacious but had very old decor. Could use some upgrades. Especially light. The rooms have dark and earthy tones. The Keurig machine didn't work and the receptionist had quiet unfriendly demeaner when she expressed her inability to do anything. The coffee in the lobby was also not ready. The TV was big and latest but the Netflix app didn't work for some reason. The restaurant didn't have much for vegetarians. With a little bit more care this could be a very good hotel.

    Unfortunately the pool was under construction and we were not alerted to that prior to on Orbitz or WT’s website. The curtains were pretty filthy and we had a stand up shower that drained incredibly slow. The front desk staff was pleasant and helped with directions however requesting towels it took 2 stops down to the desk and an hour later to get what we needed. I always register for 4 guests and receive 3 towels!

    At that time it was too late to try to find another place. So I called booking and they tried to manage to give me some compensation for that. What I received was not enough.     Worst hotel I have ever been to. Tried to check in at 1pm, but they let the people before us stay past 2pm. I had 6 people on my reservation, the booking said it slept 6 people. It didn’t. It slept 4. I had to ask for a roll away bed, which only sleeps 1. We were already down a bed. Extra linens were requested and never gave. I had to check in at 12am, and when I got into the room, the ceiling was falling in and water was running from the ceiling in multiple spots. The lady at the desk was going to do nothing about it and make us leave because we couldn’t stay. I said I needed a room, she gave me keys to a room that was apparently closed for maintenance, and the room keys didn’t work. I went back down, she gave me new keys, and the keys still didn’t work. Then as I’m going back down again, someone comes out of the room she was trying to give us to move into. Worst experience ever. Staff was rude, lazy, and completely unhelpful. Ended up having to drive all the way to northern Michigan through the night because we had nowhere to stay. This hotel should not be allowed to operate.

    the atmosphere, location, and staff were amazing and accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and I love that they have breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The fact that the entire bathroom floor can be wet all the way to the commode. No bathroom fan to cool down the bathroom after showering.

    Definitely a dated property. Our room had a bad sewer gas smell. The accessible shower was quite hazardous as the floor got very wet outside the shower and the bolts on the seat were pulling away from the wall. Overall, I would not recommend and will not be back.

    I was hesitant to book here because of some of the reviews and the location and exterior look of the property. But it surpassed all expectations! Great staff, clean, and the bathroom especially was nice with a little bow they leave on the toilet paper and nice big and hot walk in shower with actual bottles of pumpable soap instead of cheap little bars. Plentiful parking too. Loved it!

    When we arrived we were told the pullout couch didn’t work so we could just use the couch which didn’t work for our family of 6. They did make it right by opening up the joining room allowing all of us to fit comfortably. However we were told when we arrived breakfast would be served in the morning as well as when we booked that breakfast was included. When we went to eat breakfast they informed us that breakfast isnt included and we would have to pay for each meal. This is extremely frustrating as when we book a hotel we always look for free breakfast as it is always expensive to stay as a family of 6 so to have to also pay for breakfast isn't something affordable for us. Also the pool is closed so the kids couldn't even enjoy their time. Overall a bad experience and I wouldn't stay there again.

    Well I was hopeful. But I called the front desk to find out where the working ice machine was. She answered the phone and said please hold I'm checking someone in. Waited about 5 min and she got back on said I haven't forgotten about you still checking people in and put me right on hold again. Didn't let me just ask a simple question. I hung up and a gentleman answered and said it was on the fourth floor. We were on the second. We tried the first, second, and third before I called. I don't think it's wrong to want someone to ask what you need before putting you on hold multiple times.

    First room had no working fridge. Maintainance and front desk didn't seem to like each other. Moved to second room. Directly over a ballroom with a loud event scheduled until midnight. After a full day on the road, we were too tired to move to a third room. Overall felt like the hotel was trying to make a comeback under a new name and wasn't beingg very successful in doing so.

    Good afternoon I am not currently your pleased with my experience with your hotel, professional or operational manager. I would love to discuss my concerns in which I witness this morning. I am deeply concerned that your operational manager decided to challenge my husband stay at your facility we checked in yesterday evening, and I asked for any policy of procedures concerning my stay at your facility. I wanted to make sure that I was in compliance. Unfortunately, I was in a very important meeting that I had to be taken away from in which my husband was being challenged for being a guest at your facility. He was told by the operational manager that his name was not listed on their own upon booking. When I booked the room I specified that it would be two travelers plus when I checked in, he was with me. Finally, I received one room key and request requested an additional room key for my husband before we both left the counter. Elsa, the operational manager informed my husband to give me a call to add him as a guest. I reached out to my husband and he had me on speaker honoring Elsa operational manager request. This is unacceptable. She told me for my safety that this task has to be performed. As I engage in conversations with Elsa, the operational manager, I asked her how shall I identify myself? She never replied, so I proceeded to tell her my name upon telling her my name I gave her a directive that she requested a verbally communicating that my husband i

    Wow. Run, don’t walk, run from this place. They were unreasonably rude, told me that I didn’t deserve the room that I did (I know they had the right reservation because I had spoken to 2 other people from the hotel that day who confirmed my room. Then they told me that they didn’t have any more of those rooms anyway, THEN gave my room to a friend of mine who checked in 15 minutes later. Just a bizarre experience. Everything was closed, the pool, the bar/restaurant, and every room had to get their key card programmed every time they used it. They called it “one and done” like that was some normal thing with keycards. You wanna get ice? Gotta go get your card re-programmed. Need to fun to the car? Better hit the front desk on the way back to reactivate your key. Just crazy. Worst, worst experience of my life at a hotel. You could not pay me to stay there again.

    I got a handicap accessible room. It was not handicap accessible. The whole reason I chose the hotel that I chose is because they had a full and they said it may have breakfast available when I got there. It said the pool was closed. This was a vacation for me. So my grandson and I were gonna get in the pool and we were unable to because there was no pool then there was some kind of fire. I have a bunny and I had to try to get out the hotel room because there was a fire next-door. It just was a horrible thing and then there was someone working. You could tell that there was like construction work on the sixth floor because it was constant knocking and banging so I’m very disappointed and I don’t get any rest at all Woke the baby up several times.

    The staff was wonderful. We booked last minute after our furnace went out. I called ahead to see if they had a crib available as my youngest was already overtired.     The staff was very courteous. Calvin, who checked me in was so nice and accommodating. Last year when I stayed here they had coffee available in the lobby, but not this time. Maybe they could provide more than two packages of condiments for the in room keurig. More than two washcloths and towels would have been nice. It took two phone calls to the front desk to obtain more. The pool has been “under construction “ for more than a year. The bed was very comfortable.

    We booked a hotel for two reasons. Number one a swimming pool, number two and attached restaurant. When we arrived, the pool was closed for renovations, and the restaurant was out of business. Expedia did not notify us of either situation, and since the reservation was made through a third-party. Holiday Inn refused to refund any money. Although the Expedia rep made an effort to contact the hotel, the ultimate outcome was no refund. Buyer beware, call the property first before you book it. Either that or Expedia has to do a better job.

    Well they offered breakfast for an additional 10$ per day in a restaurant that is permanently closed Room floors were sticky. Food we put in fridge was soaking wet the following day. A/C unit leaked. We were told by front desk staff that first floor rooms were "nasty". Pool has been closed for a long time according to same idiot. Rented a second room for our son and TV didn't work. Told by same idiot that they knew it didn't work. For a Holiday Inn it was a dump

    On the positive side, the room was large and clean with a coffee maker and microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom was large with a good size shower. The service in the bar/restaurant was very good and the food was tasty and served quickly. The “nickel and dime” approach to early check-in left me with an overall bad impression and I will probably not be returning to this hotel. Tired travelers don’t appreciate being extorted for an extra $25 plus $100 credit card hold for incidentals upon check-in. This really tainted my experience.

    I wouldn’t stay here again because for one they charged me for another stay when I already paid my money then going say sorry by bad I will refund you .. without my authorization. Then I had a handicaps sticker n my car and going tell me u know they tow I said why would they tow me when I have my handicaps n my mirror so they was judging me and I didn’t feel comfortable with that ! The bed was comfortable they had free soap n the shower but nothing we n there . Someone tried coming n my room while I was sleep and I had the don’t disturb on the door and still tried come in and it wasn’t even check out !     The hallway on the 4th floor smelled really bad so I let the front desk know twice and nothing was done. Hotel was loud in the middle of the night with the illegals in the hallway loudly talking and slamming doors. I do not recommend staying there.     Free parking, bed was good First I was charged for my room with breakfast, one minute later I was told that there was no breakfast due to construction in breakfast hall! Why was I charged for the breakfast? Sorry but this hotel is not clean and needs renevation on many areas. Dog was barking in near room, and soundproofing is not good.     Would not stay here again!!     The room and the beds were great. Clean, quiet, perfect temperature, strong hot water pressure, and well lit. We felt like the Hotel was on its last legs(perhaps because of change in ownership or business planning). No operating pool, a closed restaurant within, terribly aged carpeting in the hallways, a pitiful dash and go breakfast selection, and their cable TV selection was little better than local channels.

    When we arrived after a long flight my room had roaches; when I alerted the staff they told me they would inspect and eventually said they didn't find any. They put me in another room where there was a hole in the wall seeing the outside by the AC unit. No one's key cards worked so every time any guest came in they had to let you in. My room was never cleaned after a 3 day stay. I requested my money back and was told to wait until the inspector inspected the roach infested room again.

    Room had used pillowcase in chair up on our arrival but seemed clean. Bed was lumpy and not comfortable, cable sucked like 10 channels all news and sports. RESTERAUNT CLOSED, POOL CLOSED, FITNESS ROOM CLOSED...NOWHERE on their site says that. Don't worry they said by spring it should all be fixed. Also key has to be recoded Everytime you use it and only one key will be given. What a cluster of a mess. Sleep in your car it's comparable since there are zero amenities.If I wouldn't have prepaid we would have left.

    The place lacked cleanliness. The first night we were there we found a pillow on the kids bed that had blood on the corner of it. The room seemed quite dusty. The curtains had stains on them. The keurig in the room didnt work. The breakfast lacked a lot. There were people in the parking lot smoking weed.     My room had ants, in the bed in my stuff. Doors were noisy. Another room we booked the door handle stopped working, AC wouldn’t go down low enough and blinds fell from the wall. The gave my room away to someone else and I ended up with a downgraded room, unavailable for refund so had to suffice. Would not recommend this location.

    Overall appearance and cleanliness was good. Carpets looked like they needed to be cleaned and the wood over near the air conditioner was damaged beforehand. Air conditioner had a piece that was sticking out from it.

    We were overbooked at another hotel due to an event in the city, even though we booked well in advance. We were able to get reservations in the middle of the night and were then able to get an early check in. The staff were very friendly, empathetic and understanding. They were able to accommodate us and were very sorry for the situation that we had at another hotel. The beds are very comfortable, it has Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotions on the wall and you use all you need so no need to travel with those items. Plenty of space between bed and window wall and desk/ eating areas. Breakfast is to go with plenty of coffee, bagels/pastries to begin your day. Very nice area 25 minutes away from the city and airport is about 35 minutes away.

    It was a decent stay for what you pay for but a few little things could a long way. A few of them are - bad smell on 5th floor, key cards constantly not working and parking lines so faded cars were parked diagonally incorrectly everywhere. I did like the room. It was spacious and clean. Beds were also comfy. In all, room was great, outside the room, not so much.

    The pool was not open, staff was okay, there is a deposit that they did not tell me about ($100-refundable), cleaning never left the right amount of towels, keys kept on needing to be rekeyed, the parking is average, and the worst was the “breakfast”. A “grab-n-go” was not okay, but very minimal.

    Breakfast was pretty minimal. The walls aren’t thin, but you can hear everything in the hallway through the door, including other doors shutting and people walking past. Probably not the most comfortable for a light sleeper. More of a driving area than a walking area. On the plus side, tons of restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc just a short drive away. DoorDash also delivers to this location. Overall a great stay.

    Was highly disappointed in the stay that I had here at the Hilton. For starters, I booked for the pool to be told when I checked in that the pool was 'temporarily closed for maintenance'. What was odd about the scenario was that down the street at the corner store, I overheard another guest complaining about the pool to be told by the cashier that 'that pool has been closed for a long time, they've known the pool was closed all along' so of course I didn't appreciate the dishonesty. The fridge nor the microwave inside my room worked AND the restaurant connected to the hotel was also closed. Would not stay here again

    The hotel was located in a great place. Not too far from downtown Chicago, malls, or local attractions. Check-in was easy and the room was good. The only downfall was it was a bit noisy since we were close to the elevators and the cleaning staff started before 7:00 on cleaning and vacuuming rooms. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

    The first night we stayed our room was cleaned. The next 2 nights room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days, had to ask for clean towels- if we need to request to have our room cleaned, management need to let us know. We thought hotel was clean, nice area but felt management should have at least followed up, maybe some type of discount on our room, since they could not move us to another room because the hotel was filled to capacity. We are not upset but we did feel if they st least offer us some type of discount would have made up for the minor inconveniences.

    The room was decent. It did have a bit of a humid/moldy smell when we first turned on the AC but eventually it went away once it was running for a bit. The best was clean and comfy, though there were only 3 pillow. The bathroom was fully stocked and clean. We only stayed one night, so it was decent, just not great.

    The amenities were under construction so I wasn’t able to utilize the gym nor the pool but was still charged full price with no credit or anything for the inconvenience. I was made aware of these things after booking The room was non-refundable so I couldn’t cancel and go elsewhere. Will not be staying here again.

    I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Chicago SW in Countryside. I chose this hotel because it was close in proximity to shopping, food, and attractions. The only con I had was the pool being out of service for the summer. I tend to think hotels say this to keep children out of their hair, but with the exception to that it was a great stay and my son and I had a really great time in the area and rested comfortably

    Nice stay. Room was comfy, but poorly lit. Bathroom only had shower and no exhaust fan (for bathroom use)or heat lamp to counter the really good air conditioning. Refrigerator good but loud, disturbing at night. Put up sign for maid to come back later (twice) but they never did. Told front desk on one occasion and they said it would be taken care of, but it did not happen. Put trash outside in hallway every day. Bed was made only once and that was at check-in. Towels piled up in bathroom. Ice machine in our floor didn't work until the last night we were there. Lobby was nice. Staff was friendly. Would stay again.

    Keys for the room or a pain in the neck he had to keep changing them at least six times in a 10 day period. The rug was dirty never vacuumed. The shower flooded when you take a shower all on the floor we had to use the bath towels to soak up the water and then we were question while we needed more towels and the maintenance engineer come in and spray in the bathroom, my cousin spotted little tiny black bugs. I’ve stayed there in the past in the hotel went downhill. Very poor conditions. Nasty filthy place. Never stay there again.

    made a reservation on hotels.com and got a confirmation number. Shortly thereafter, I received 3 missed phone calls from the hotel, but no one left a message. WhenI arrived, I was told that the rooms were sold out. I asked how is that possible if I have a confirmation number. Then, I was given a filthy room that reeked of cigarettes. I was told that I couldn't switch rooms. The smell was so bad that I couldn't sleep and my hair smelled like cigarette smoke in the morning. I have stayed at this hotel often and was always satisfied, but this experience was god awful. Not IHG quality.
