Reviews
The hotel offers a great location with stunning views of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier, and is within walking distance to various restaurants and attractions. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, there are mixed reviews about the cleanliness and condition of the rooms, with some guests reporting damaged furniture and worn-out facilities. Additionally, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of certain amenities such as coffee makers, microwaves, and refrigerators in the rooms.

Amazing staff! Breakfast food is amazing. Overall was a great experience!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We paid extra for a lake facing room. Our room was near the elevator and it was LOUD from 5am in the morning until 2am in the morning. It felt like the walls were made of paper and we were on every single elevator ride. The location by the lake is lovely, but because of the room it was not a restful place for us to stay. The breakfast is ridiculously expensive for a mediocre meal. Finally the wifi was terrible. Even when you paid daily per person for wifi, you basically could only use it in your room. Not in the lobby or any other place on the property.

The layout of the hotel is weird and confusing. However, the services are very good and the rooms are big and confortable.

Paid extra for lake view - the view was great. Our room was 2 from the elevators so we heard the elevator go up & down all night making it difficult to sleep.

Arthur the Manager and Brandon were Excellent they made sure we got a great room with a great view of the wheel and Macy pier and away from the lifts. They were very helpful. Rooms were spacious and very clean free am coffee in the lobby was nice and free coffee and kettle to the rooms upon request. Just under the tunnel to the navy pier and the Michigan lake/beach so close even to the city Maccas and 711 around the corner buses close by to go to the large museum one stop for $2.25 great value Nothing all great

Excellent venue for getting to the McCormick conference centre given that I had access to a courtesy bus. I had a lake view and was a little concerned I might be disturbed by noise from the Lakeshore drive that passes between the hotel and the lake, but not at all. The room had air con which although effective was quite noisy. Thankfully the room wasn't so warm that I needed air con overnight - not sure what it might be like in the summer months.. First time I have been to a 4 star hotel in the US not to find a coffee machine in the room, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel provided coffee in the lobby in the mornings only.

The location was excellent and convenient for exploring Chicago. Some staff members were courteous and attempted to assist when concerns were raised. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The room we were assigned had issues that made us uncomfortable staying at the property. We requested assistance, but a satisfactory resolution could not be reached. As a result, we chose to leave and find alternative accommodations. The experience caused significant disruption to our plans and required us to spend several hours searching downtown Chicago for another hotel while managing our luggage.

Hotel has great views of the lake and city. Breakfast was delicious. However, my TV did not even turn on when I arrived. The rooms felt like they were a bit dated. As in many of the items in the room I was in looked like they were broken or paint was chipping and there was quick fixes to cover these areas.
- 5/5
Everything was as pictured. The location and ambiance was amazing. Would stay here again and again Nothing
- 3.5/5
Close to all the attractions we booked, soft beds, warm showers Pool was dirty, our booking reservation stated free breakfast but it did not specify that it was for two people only (we are a family of 3) No charging ports available for those sleeping in the middle of the room, only the outside sections of the beds so my wife had to drape her charger across the bed

It was good. Had a bad experience with the bar. Drinks overpriced and then my credit card was charged for another party’s entire order.

I politely asked if it would be possible to have a lake view, even if it was only for one of my rooms. He immediately responded that I would have to pay an additional $50. I then mentioned that I stay at this hotel frequently, hoping there might be some flexibility, but he was dismissive and came across as quite rude. The interaction left me feeling unwelcome and was not the level of customer service I have come to expect from a hotel where I regularly stay.

There was a private wedding event during the day of my reservation. The hotel reserved all but one the elevators just for the private event. I was waiting for 30-40 minutes after checking in as only 1 elevator was lifting people to their floors and the rest were solely for wedding guests going to the 6th floor. There was huge lines/crowds of people waiting to go up to their rooms and it was taking forever. Upon getting inpatient I went to the front desk to see if they can cancel my reservation as a whole. They apologized for the inconvenience and said they would cancel fee free. Weeks later I look at my credit card statement and it shows that I am still charged for a room that I never made it to. I called the hotel and they transferred me to accounting but no one answered so I left a call back voicemail giving them a breakdown of everything that happened. I still have not received a call back and am still charged around $331 for a place I didn’t not even stay. This is very disappointing and frustrating experience.

The bathroom door is sliding and does not close completely and the extractor does not work. Excellent location, valet parking somewhat disorganized, staff 3.5/5 of kindness.

The hotel was in a great location; everything was within walking distance. Breakfast was okay, but it could be changed up a bit. It was the same thing for all three days, so I think there could be a little more variety.

Booked two queens but they were small full beds. Great view of navy pier fireworks (wed and sat during summer). Easy walk over to navy pier, beach and walking path along the lake. No cell phone reception in the lobby or our room. Without cell phone service it was frustrating to the internet. Had to go back and forth to the lobby’s free WiFi several times to get situated on our phones and computers. Park at the parking garage next door(Axis) (half the price) if you don’t need to come and go with your car.
- 3/5
Bathroom doors do not close completely, beds were small than queen size, there is no microwave, fan in bathroom is not strong.
- 4/5
Excellent lake view and location, definitely worth the price. Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Only feedback is there needs to be a fan in the bathroom as it gets super steamy and for the price there should be queen sized beds and not double. Would definitely stay again!

Shower Head water pressure is AMAZING. I loved it. Very clean and sweet staff. Great location.

Stayed at Wade Hotel recently and overall really enjoyed the experience. The location is amazing - very accessible and within a short, safe walk to downtown and most of the main attractions. Everything was about a 10–15 minute walk max, which made getting around super convenient. The room itself had a stunning lake view that I absolutely loved. Looking out at it throughout the day was such a highlight - it honestly looked like a painting, especially during sunrise and sunset. The room was clean, housekeeping came daily, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with great pillows and towels. The only thing I found a bit odd was the bathroom door setup. It’s a sliding door that doesn’t fully close, so there’s a noticeable gap you can see through. Since I was sharing the room with family, it was a little inconvenient and definitely lacking some privacy. I think this could be especially uncomfortable if you’re sharing with coworkers or someone you don’t know very well. Other than that, everything else was really solid and we genuinely enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel, very modern and clean. Had fantastic views from the top floor. We were on floor 28 and the skyline was great. Bed very comfortable and it was expected from a 4* hotel. Chicago is a business city, reminded me of a bar man set as its high rised buildings and slightly darker from the shadows of these buildings. Locally there was a few cafes and coffee shops for easy reach for breakfast

The location of the property was central to tours and attractions downtown. The costs of parking my vehicle was the equivalent to an additional night’s stay. Also, I booked online and reserved a king bed but the rooms each had double beds. Was told by the staff that “you booked online, there’s nothing we can do.” However, no one ever answered the phone when I called the hotel directly.

Everything was nice at the hotel. We had a room by the elevator which made our night miserable. And the price is was charged by booking.com was over 100.00 then I could've done it with the hotel instead of booking.com. Going forward i will check with the hotel first. Overcharged Not happy at all. Booking.com charge

Loved the view of the lake and the close walk to the Navy Pier. Liked the rooms that were clean and comfy with plenty of room. Liked the unique setup of the room. Loved the shower and water pressure was amazing! No information about any of the hotel services, restaurant information, and any local information in the room. With check in desk around the corner, you have little to no contact with front desk once you check in. To ask for local recommendations about attractions or restaurants. THE REAL PROBLEM was the very poor reception we had with our phones with no internet access once in hotel room unless you accessed their WIFI. Fortunately I was a Marriott Bonvour member and was able to get WiFi use once I activated it. If you aren’t a member good luck getting reception for your cellphone once in your room. We were never able to get or make phone calls from our cellphones once in our room. We have Verizon service so not sure who is to blame, just making a point about our experience. Also, it is a nice walk to get to Michigan avenue from hotel so bring comfy shoes or use Uber or a Taxi. You definitely will get your steps in. One piece of advice, use the public parking garages around the block from hotel. Plenty to choose from with rates at a Much much cheaper than the $86 bucks a night at hotel.

The location of The Wade was excellent. Loved that it is so close to everything downtown. Staff were excellent and very personal....we were greeted with an upgrade room with a view of the lake, just very special and unexpected. Highly recommend staying here. We stayed 3 nights and were sad to leave!
- 5/5
The Wade is amazing! I had a room that did not face Lake Michigan, but the view of Chicago was still spectacular. The bed was amazing! I'm not sure if I have ever slept that well in a hotel. The location was awesome as well.
- 3/5
For me, the room had issues. I want to share that I did get offered another room but we were too late coming back to do this. Issues with hot water, slippery floor tile, and mattress pad that was lumpy. Staff at the bar yesterday afternoon told me they did not have decaf coffee in the hotel. This am, we had it in the breakfast area. Great waitress there named Anamaria.

Everything was clean and the bed and sofa were so comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, to my girlfriend didn’t enjoy her Caesar chicken wrap (had bones in it).

The beach view and proximity to Magnification Mile and other tourist attraction like "the bean, museums." Though it is still a walk, it's a nice walk. There's great choices for food too.

Lois at the front desk truly made my stay exceptional. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, setting the tone for a great experience. The hotel itself is fantastic, perfectly located, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything nearby. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. Between the excellent accommodations and Lois’s outstanding hospitality, this was a stay I won’t forget. I will absolutely be back.

Stayed on the 30th floor, the view and room was amazing! The staff were great and helpful with accommodations for an early check in. The location is great 10/10, 5-10 minutes away from everything.

Wonderful place to stay in Chicago. Perfect location right by Navy Pier, amazing view from the window, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great food options.

The location and view. Room was nice. Charging for wifi in 2026 is crazy.
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and worth what it cost. Parking is way too expensive per night.
- 3.5/5
Nice room and facilities. Great view. Security and staff calling my room and then opening my door 15 seconds later to check to see if the phones worked while I was still sleeping was inconvenient and invasive.

Location No free wifi, no USB ports in the room, front desk staff were particularly unfriendly, and I wouldn't have stepped foot in that shower.

The next morning, the breakfast was definitely the highlight of my stay. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to end my visit on a high note. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the property was excellent. The beach was really nothing to write home about. The food was mediocre at best. None of the amenities outside of the pool were opened. Had to switch rooms unexpectedly later in the evening halfway through my trip and one of my items was lost. Come to find out the housekeeping staff had thrown away my hand brace as it was in the old room on the floor found in the trash bag covered in food. I was glad to get it back but disappointed that you thought it was garbage as it was a new hand brace. If I had to choose I wouldn't stay there again.

We enjoy our stay.

The view to the lake For this place to be 8.2 stars this isn’t luxury…..when you walk in he’s the bar and spacious area to look out at the water. But as soon as we got in the room I just was suprised I paid almost $500 with my non refundable deposit I’ve stayed at way way way better and much nicer hotels for the same amount. The black tile in the shower room was mildew and white obviously someone isn’t cleaning CORRECTLY. The mattress was dirty not new decent nice or clean DIRTY the carpet you could feel coming up in may places there was water damage I assume from previous people on some of the wooden furniture. Just ridiculous for their price point oh also when I saw the pool ya no just stay in a holiday inn or regular Marriot ❤️

Everything but why breakfast wasn’t included That breakfast was not included because one night was expensive
- 3.5/5
Check in was at 4pm and we had somewhere to be by 5 and we weren't checked in until almost 5pm and not given any reason besides waiting for clean rooms that should have already been prepared because we paid for 4pm. Our plans were delayed and we ending up being late to our venue
- 4/5
Valet service when we arrived was a little unpleasant. My Husband didnt realize he left his phone in the car, we went down to speak to valet guy that night. Valet attendant was the only guy, so he was in a rush, but we ended up not retrieving my husbands phone from the car since Attendant was clearly distressed. Scanning the QR code to figure out time for breakfast downstairs (I did not end up finding it)I got confused as I couldnt rememberif front desk said breakfast was complimentary or not. I also tried to check out "Current" online for reserving (without the app). Process was super confusing so I ended up deciding to order in room dining.

My phone didn't work for room service; the wallpaper was peeling off.Cracks in the floors. The shower was leaking.
- 5/5
Everything was great about the hotel from cleanliness to the staff. The view was perfect as we had the lake view and it was unobstructed! Parking is very expensive but that’s just Chicago!
- 2/5
Did not accommodate me when I ask for another room. Front desk was not helpful at all. The room are not with a city view, your actually looking at buildings. Didn't disclose I had to have an additional 200 dollars to be held after paying 275...I will not go back

Location and it was pretty hotel The staff was not accommodating. Very nonchalant about complaints. Felt like we were bothering them. When to restaurant had to wait long time for food when food was forgotten they blamed us. Was told they would have them recook never came out waiter says the cooks went home. Just not enjoyable.
- 1.5/5
The staff was great !! Very nice and helpful First when we got into our room they put us next to the elevators so all day and night you can hear them very loud in our room. The beds were dirty and had hair ( looked like pubes?) Second the fridge didn't work properly so things I had in the fridge weren't cold for example the milk for my daughter spoiled quick!! 3rd the pool was extremely dirty ..their was dead bugs floating around and the floor was dirty and slimey!! Never again!!
- 5/5
Room could have been a bit cleaner, don’t bother parking in the hotel itself as there is parking literally a 5 minute walk away and if you pay for it online in advance it is much cheaper!

It felt that after the acquisition, this property has really fell off the wagon. The staff was nonexistent, when I was trying to check out there was nobody at the front desk. Upon checking in experience was also disorganized. One night I tried to call room service, then tried to call the front desk, and then the concierge. I rang multiple times and nobody picked up. Don’t know if they had all abandoned their stations at the same time or what was going on, but it was really bizarre. No one picked up. What if we had an emergency? Not an experience I would expect from a hotel at this price point. The room did not have a mini bar, no coffee maker, no slippers, no robe. Really bare bones. The hotel did not provide free Wi-Fi, which in this day and age is a given. The television did not even have smart TV capability, it did not connect with Netflix or anything like that — it all just felt outdated, and as if no one cares. It felt more like a cheap motel than a fine establishment.
- 3/5
Had to change rooms because the floor in the bathroom has sticky stuff all over it, plus hair in the shower. The elevator sounds like a rocket ship, so no matter what room you have, you can hear it going up or down. Other than that, it has great views!

The room was clean with an incredible view and the staff were very helpful. I wouldn't recommend using the laundry services as it takes quiet a lot of time and is rather expensive.

We had a city view room but couldn’t really see the city. Also, I paid for valet parking but it didn’t show that in their system so I had to explain the situation to valet multiple times even after clearing things up with the front desk.
- 2/5
We had a nice view of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. However, our check in was at 4 PM and we did not get into our room until 6 PM. We arrived shortly before 5 PM to check in. We waited in line for 20 minutes just to check in. When we finally got to the desk, we were informed that our room was not ready. There were 10 people ahead of us who also did not have a room and they could not tell us a time as to when our room would be ready. We waited in the lobby for probably 30 minutes, which was not terrible considering they couldn’t give us a timeframe. The concierge was rude about the situation and not accommodating. The least they could have done was comped us for the time we waited. Very busy hotel. Lobby always full of people. Our room was fine, average.

Was disappointed during my stay. I book hotel with consideration of amenities. Hotel bar was closed to hotel guests because of private party. Man its 30 degrees outside. Had to visit another venue for beverages. There was no website notice. Hotel phones were down and not active. Staffing is always great but this visit was not up to par.

Staff was really nice. Property has gone under new management and has gone down hill. Room wasn’t clean, toilet was broken, hot water did not work in shower, and also the shower gel in shower was broken. I have stayed here multiple times before and it was great however this time I was disappointed.
- 1/5
The phone signal and WiFi in the room were extremely poor, making it difficult to stay connected. The cable service in the room also did not work at all. Additionally, I was unable to access the Skydeck because it was down for maintenance, which was one of the amenities I was looking forward to. Parking was also unexpectedly expensive at $100 per night, which was not clearly communicated beforehand. On top of that, I was informed that WiFi would be complimentary as a Marriott member, yet I was still charged $10 per night. What was most frustrating, however, was the lack of support from the staff. Despite raising these concerns, there was little to no effort made to resolve the issues or offer any form of accommodation. Given the number of inconveniences and the lack of resolution during my stay, I would appreciate a review of these charges and appropriate compensation.

We arrived at 11pm because before that we went to dinner and another activity. When we got there the person behind the desk told us that the room with a king bed was given away to someone else, mind you I had paid ahead on the app. Then he proceeded to say he can give us another room for the same price with 2 twin beds. What can we do? We were already there so we took it. I asked him why wasn’t I notified or called before they gave away my room, he said if you would have got here earlier you would have got it. Like wth!? I had already paid for it!!! They should have called to verify if I wasn’t coming in anymore so they can give it away to someone else. Then I asked if I would get a discount or something since they messed up and he said no. Then he proceeded to give us a free breakfast voucher. We go up to our room, and there was food that someone ordered before it I don’t know what happened but food was there already!! Smh! Also the valet parking was $86 dollars!!!!!!! That’s insane, we are staying at this hotel so we should have got it validated well no! Then the next morning we go downstairs to eat breakfast and everything was horrible, eggs were burned along with potatoes and the waffles were hard as a

I thought The Wade was very nice. A couple fresh coats of paint could help a little.
- 5/5
My stay at the wade was absolutely AMAZING, I love a pet friendly hotel. My fur babe is no bigger than your average burrito (giggles) Clean Room Staff Was Great. Views are really good.
- 2/5
The room was alright but it had no tv the bathroom door was broken the toilet wouldn’t work
- 3/5
The entire property needs to be cleaned and Maintinanced
- 3/5
Valet parking is $86 but there is a garage 400 ft from the entrance that was $35 over night through spot hero if you don’t mind parking yourself.
- 2/5
The cleanliness was a major issue, the rooms were dirty and not well-maintained. To make things worse, there was no hot water for over a day. There was also no internet throughout my stay, and cellular service upstairs was extremely poor, especially with Verizon, making it difficult to make calls or stay connected. Additionally, basic amenities were missing. There was no complimentary water, and essentials like soap and shampoo were not provided, which is unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Broken couch
- 5/5
It was clean nice and friendly environment and price was reasonable.
- 5/5
Very comfortable stay
- 4/5
The staff was super nice, hotel was quiet and room was comfy. Very close to navy pier, within walking distance. Would be a great hotel for the summertime.
- 1/5
What followed was a series of poor “solutions” and ongoing issues: an upgrade that didn’t accommodate our group, lack of basic amenities (they claimed to have no pillows), repeated calls just to receive towels, and advertised bar offerings that weren’t even available but advertised all across the hotel. The most alarming moment came when a glass shelf fell off the wall overnight, thankfully no one was hurt, but it could have been dangerous. Between the disorganized service, lack of accountability, and overall experience, this felt far below standard. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming & answered all of my questions effectively. I was especially impressed with Mo, our server in The Current. He was GREAT!!
- 5/5
staff was great, room cleaning was on point. They should improve the amenities and have coffee with light snacks.
- 5/5
Had a very lovely experience. The bed are very comfortable and a lovely view of the lake.
- 5/5
very clean , loved it
- 2/5
When I arrived to the hotel on 3/13/2026, I was told I didn’t have a reservation. Waited 20 minutes or so for the receptionist to come back and say “they got it figured out”. Extremely annoying. They blamed Expedia, however if you have an agreement with a third party, communication is key. I would like to add that it is not worth pre-paying for the breakfast. You are only allowed two things off of the menu which is a total rip off for the amount paid. Lastly, the hotel needs an upgrade. One of the elevators there did not close properly, the furniture was worn out and the bed and pillows were not comfortable. The only nice thing about the hotel was the view. Period.
- 3/5
The rooms were small, and okay. They could have been a lot cleaner. We also didn’t have any towels when we checked in so we had to call and ask for towels.
- 5/5
Great stay, get
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was very helpful although there was only one bartender on St Pattys weekend. Valet were very nice and helpful. Great views of the lake and safe neighborhood. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
The staff was excellent, understanding and patient
- 3/5
The view was amazing however the urgency to obtain items such as extra towels or blankets was slow!
- 5/5
Loved this hotel, i will be back
- 5/5
Walking distance to most of what we wanted to see.
- 4/5
The hotel room looked better in the pictures. We have platinum rewards and they did not upgrade us to a bigger room. The room is pretty tight and the bathroom is small with a tub shower. It was clean but a little worn looking. The view of the lake was spectacular even through the fog. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very modern looking downstairs. The pool was very large and nice.
- 3/5
Room decent. Bartendars very friendly.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay. Its right across from the pier/beach. They have a restaurant and bar is you dont want to leave. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is parking. Street parking is very limited and can only be used for short periods. The hotel parking is $70 a night.
- 5/5
the beach view was beautiful!
- 5/5
Location and staff
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
My stay at The Wade overall was pretty good. I booked here because it has a pool, and I thought I would have a nice view (city view). The view wasn’t available, I was on the 27th floor and only had a view of the roof of other buildings, and other apartments. I kept the window covered for the most part. The pool was unkept in my opinion, I didn’t feel comfortable with the dirt ring on the white tile that surrounded the pool, and the water looked and felt pretty grimy, I felt it needed to be serviced. Though my main attractions to this location were not fulfilled it was very quiet on my floor, the cleaning crew were very polite and generous, and the valet was very friendly and always gave me great service despite it being very busy over the course of my stay.
- 5/5
the whole place
- 5/5
Room was very clean would return again
- 5/5
Parking is rates are outrageous but everything else is great
- 4/5
The staff were friendly and kind. They assisted immediately when there was an issue and for the inconvenience l was given a credit. The customer service is great and staff really works to ensure that your stay is a great experience.

We had a really good stay. The hotel is in a great location. We got a lakeview room, and it was right in front of the lake by Navy Pier. The view was beautiful. We had a king-size bed, and it was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were very quick and easy. That made everything smooth from start to finish. The bathroom was clean and nice. The food and drinks were also very good. The only downside was that our room was close to the elevator, so it was a little noisy. You could hear it going up and down. There were also people smoking weed, and the smell would come in sometimes, which we did not like. But overall, it was a good stay. It was very close to Navy Pier, which was perfect since most of our plans were there.
- 1/5
Wow this hotel is beaten down. I checked in and my first room was filthy, running shower, hair in the bathroom, it was a wreck. They changed my room and the second one had been cleaned but the room is just been used so many times, torn lampshades, tears in the sheets, stains and water stains everywhere, there was not way I was going to stay there so left and re-booked another hotel. You have been warned
- 5/5
The lakeside view. Also the room was clean and spacious.
- 5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Wade
- 5/5

I had a great stay at the Wade Hotel in Chicago! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The amenities were convenient, and the location made it easy to get around the city. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.

- 5/5
Lovely room, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, ideal location to navy pier & Michigan Ave.
- 2/5
The rooms were dirtier than expected and there were long pieces of hair on all the towels. The cable didn’t work the whole night and to top it off I got stuck in the bathroom due to the sliding doors.
- 5/5
The room was good with a wonderful view
- 3/5
room in good condition, but the blowing wind is very noisy
- 4/5
That said, I did have a few frustrating issues. Making a room change was difficult, and although Expedia told me the change had been confirmed, the hotel had no record of it when I arrived, which was very disappointing. There was also no microwave in the room. I wasn’t sure if this was something that needed to be requested, but when I called, I was directed to use the microwave in the lobby, which I didn’t love. I generally expect a microwave in the room. My biggest issue was the bed. The mattress moved around on the bed frame over time even though i was simply just laying on it or sitting which was uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult as i kept having to push the mattress back in to place. Overall, the hotel has a great look, location, and price, but there are some comfort and communication issues that could definitely be improved.
- 5/5
The location in downtown and where I needed to be made this an excellent hotel. It was very clean, with hospitable service.

There was NO HOT WATER in the hotel my second day stay.
- 1/5
The service was horrendous, we got put in a room right next to the elevators and the elevator is running and kept us awake all night, not to mention we showed up and they had no hot water (which was fixed by the time we checked out)
- 5/5
Clean room, nice view.
- 2/5
The room was fine but the hot water was not working. The hotel said that the water issue had been addressed but was taking time because of the demand. The hot water did not work at all, and the hotel management agreed to provide a $100 refund which would be issued in 5-7 days.
- 4/5
Room was very nice and clean, beds and pillows super comfy, amenities were great also. Gym was nice and had bottles of water and everything we needed to work out. Only bad thing was no hot water to shower….lots of people were complaining about it so it wasn’t just our room. Kind of a bummer. Otherwise really nice stay!
- 5/5
Parking was expensive and no breakfast. other than that, it was very good
- 5/5
very nice staff super friendly
- 5/5
Proximity and easy access to Navy Pier Hostess at Current was hospitable and attentive to everyone’s needs, even when she was on her own for the weekend morning breakfast rush!
- 3/5
Prepaid breakfast is a scam. $25 per day per person but you’re given a voucher (if check in even remembers to do that, which they didn’t for us) limited to a subset of the regular menu of about 8 items (each which retails about $15), from which you choose one and one drink - eg you get a juice but not coffee; and a yogurt but no eggs. The service is also incredibly slow despite being empty most days. Had to wipe down our own table even though there were only two other guests there. On busy days expect to wait in line quite a while to get a seat. Overall the prepaid meal is absolutely not worth it. This ‘bait and switch’ with the breakfast alone made the hotel stay very unsatisfactory.
- 5/5
Receptionist was very generous to upgrade us!
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Location excellence, facilities & staff
- 5/5
> My stay at The Wade was excellent. The hotel was very clean, and check-in and check-out were quick and seamless. The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Manager Peralta went above and beyond to be helpful. Great job to the entire team—I would definitely stay here are
- 5/5
Room was amazing overall hotel was super nice
- 5/5
Fast friendly counter help, clean nice room, great view and location.
- 3/5
We had a difficult time with the check in process as I had filled a form out for my card to be charged before our arrival. I gave a different card for the incidental charges when we arrive and I was charged a second time for our entire stay. The hotel did offer us room service credit and the limited breakfast each day we were there to make up for the inconvenience. The breakfast was not good and had hair in it one morning. The food was not the best. We had a room overlooking the lake and that was nice. Housekeeping was great some days and not on other days. The hotel is located in a good area. They did credit my card back but it took several days to be receive that and our trip was almost over. We would stay somewhere else next time we are in Chicago.
- 2/5
Very shabby 80’s, loud music, bad smell, no cell service.
- 4/5
This hotel used to be a W property. Definitely has that feel. Was here with coworkers and industry colleagues for a conference. Staff were professional, and there was a decent bar in the lobby with perfectly good food.

I booked a room months in advance for New Year’s Eve I get to the wade hotel and my room was given to someone else so they gave me a low level room as a replacement. The reason they gave me was that they were overbooked but how could that be if they gave me a replacement room.
- 3/5
Room was not upto the mark

Great room
- 5/5
Great staff and very clean. The restaurant has great food and great service. Very small bathroom. The two queen room we stayed in would have been very tight, had there been four people. Beautiful view

Great views. Excellent breakfast.
- 2/5
Staff was great but amenities were not up to par

La tarifa está muy alterada con respecto a lo que muestran en tu pago Inicial también te cobran Muy alto el parqueo y te cobran El internet demasiado caro y por cada día en fin no corresponde el precio con la realidad que se paga

The view was great and the staff was awesome. The continental breakfast on the other hand was very bland, menu was limited, and couldn't order it for room service. I've been to cheap hotels with better varieties on the menu.

The front desk staff was decent, seemed like they was ready to clock out and go home. Besides that your typical busy hotel.
- 3/5
Charged a lounge fee? Crazy work.
- 2/5
Our stay was short, but I think it was fine. Also considered you have park somewhere in a parking garage or pay about $90 for valet.
- 4/5
Everything was ok staff was very helpful but they double charged my card cause the room I book wasn’t ready by check in time… she charged extra 50 dollars for beach view instead of city view…
- 1/5
Room I had reserved was not ready, and amenities were not good. Only good thing about this hotel was the lake view. We left, and went to a new hotel the next day.
- 5/5
All was great room view and staff
- 5/5
Room was clean an beds were comfortable! Great location to everything valet parking an all staff was very nice!
- 1/5
The hotel itself is very nice. The staff is polite and efficient, the bar and cafe are nice; we didn’t even mind the 2 hour delay to our room. The ISSUE was that we were at no point notified that the hotel allows dogs in the rooms. My husband and myself are very allergic, so after a long day of sight seeing we were not excited to deal with some pretty severe allergies. Ruined our 2nd day of the trip as we were roaming Chicago until 3 am looking for allergy medications. So, nice place and great views (BEAUTIFUL views of the lake and navy Pier but be warned, you could be spending your $200+ stay outside of the hotel in the wee hours because no one thought to notify you of conditions like this.
- 5/5
Room was perfect
- 1/5
It was a great stay. The only thing that sucked was the parking they only do valet, which is $86 a day.
- 4/5
El lobby cómodo y bonito. Gracias por la gestión de dejarnos pobre los regalos de mis nietos en su árbol de navidad
- 5/5
No complaints i had an issue and the front desk helped me ASAP fast servive wish knew the name the person helped me satisfaction

- 5/5
Everything was prefect
- 5/5
Nice room. Great view, very professional staff. Fyi if you pay for breakfast, make sure you get your voucher from the front desk. We missed breakfast one day because I didn’t know that.
- 5/5
I loved the location near to everything but not surrounded by just buildings which was what I was looking for a great pier view, the size of the rooms were perfect and the staff were amazing. I will be staying here again!
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Todo estuvo bien , muy amables
- 4/5
The room was adequate, housekeeping was.attentive (sorry we forgot to leave a tip for them...will make up for it next time). The restaurant was okay, waitstaff was kind and attentive (Kary was exceptional...give that young man a raise!). The view was stunning...exactly what I hoped it would be.
- 3/5
We heard the neighbors talking until 3 am, so didn't get much sleep the first night there on a Saturday. Also there was a whining sound that can be heard the whole time we were there.
- 5/5
Great staff and great location.
- 3/5
Not as clean as expected, old
- 5/5
Location was great. Rooms clean. Bar was grand. Kerry was amazing!
- 5/5
The front desk guys were very kind and helpfull. If I'm in town again I will defenitely stay there again.
- 5/5
The room was beautiful. I booked the Premium lake view room. It came with a King bed and a wonderful view. I just wish the room had a microwave but there was a microwave in the grab and go area.
- 5/5
Our stay was very nice. We will be back.
- 5/5
Everything was really wonderful.. would stay again for sure!!
- 5/5
Close to navy pier, had a restaurant, and a bar. The staff was nice.
- 2/5
There is poor lighting throughout the entire room and the bath could use vanity lighting. And let me not forget that the nachos that I bought at your bar were not fresh.
- 5/5
Staff are very friendly and professional. Great location and near the Navy Pier with beautiful view from the lake side rooms.
- 3/5
Hotel is showing it's age. While nothing was dirty, there was missing grout in the bathroom and loose tile in the shower. Bathroom sink would not drain properly. Couch was visibly sagging. Pot of coffee was 11 dollars and a 7 dollar delivery fee for it to be sent to the room. No free breakfast or wifi and 70 dollars to park. Bed was great but the pillows kinda sucked. I'm glad I a great deal on the price of the room because I would have been unhappy if I had to pay full price
- 5/5
Hotel and service was great
- 5/5
It was kinda loud at times but the valet was super nice and our room was always tidy and cleaned
- 4/5
Roof top view and restaurant were close during our stay. Pool was okay. It was small but the kids enjoyed. No hot tub :( Great location!!
- 5/5
I absolutely it here, I will definitely be back. I was on the 32nd floor and it was just the most beautiful scene ever especially at night. My only take away I wasnt able to sleep in due to the people who cleaned was very loud and very talkitive.
- 5/5
It was clean, staff was nice and the view was beautiful
- 4/5
Room clean but I didn’t know wifi is not free which is unusual for me.
- 5/5
It was great, would totally recommend
- 5/5
Great service. Clean hotel. Great location. Had a lovely stay.
- 4/5
The first night the bed sheets were dirty, but besides that it was a really good experience.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Yes, everything was perfect. The room was very clean and the staff were great.
- 5/5
Amazing staff really nice and polite
- 4/5
Staff stood out since they were all friendly. Room was not as clean and i didn’t have soap.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely great. Everyone was helpful and nice
- 5/5
Patking was outrageous
- 3/5
The bathroom was a bit outdated, and the mirror wasn’t actually a mirror, it was some sort of reflective tape that started wearing off on the edges. Additionally, there was no fan or ventilation in the bathroom. Other than that is cool the food was subpar, comparatively to going to a TGI Fridays.
- 4/5
Not that good: rooms near elevator shaft have to much noise from the system
- 4/5
It was a very nice room…but they really need to have a coffee machine in the rooms!!! We found one but the cupboard it was in was locked, so that was very disappointing

- 5/5
Great location, walkable to so many area attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Had an issue with the tub draining. They took care of it right away. Everyone was very nice.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the bar and dining room. Our room was nice and clean. It smelled nice and fresh unlike other places that I've stayed at. We asked for a fan and it was brought up right away.
- 5/5
Property is showing signs of age but the staff made up for it. Very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous. Room was clean. Overall very nice hotel.

- 5/5
Staff was welcoming! We appreciated the engineering team for stepping in and helping us out! He was kind. Would stay again!
- 3/5
Spacious room but cleanliness was not what I would expect from a luxury hotel
- 5/5
Great location, clean room, amazing showers.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Great hotel. Friend staff. Clean. Good location with a small walk to nearby attractions.
- 1/5
Rude staff never returning
- 2/5
It’s too bad, because the view was great. The bed was uncomfortable; the tv had no streaming capability; we stayed in a room where we heard the elevator all night; and the parking situation is abysmal. Either pay $86 for valet or park off site and walk. We booked this for a view of the lake, but that alone isn’t worth staying here again.
- 5/5
all nice and great
- 4/5
Everything was clean and went well other than the fact the shower didn’t drain, said they were gonna send up maintenance and no one showed. Other than that it’s a nice basic hotel for a weekend stay.
- 5/5
The city view was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Would definitely recommend
- 2/5
The room was okay seem like stuff was a little outdated in the rooms the lighting was terrible and they advertised tubs in rooms and it’s only walk in showers
- 5/5
Good place to stay. Parking is very expensive tho.
- 5/5
Room was clean , great view , and friendly staff
- 5/5
Very beautiful
- 5/5
Staff was excellent as well as the view
- 5/5
The room was great and the view was unbeatable!
- 4/5
The location was great. It was less than 10 minute walk to the Pier and 20 minute walk to Millennium park. The hotel looked nice but the rooms were super basic and a little run down even. No coffee or hot water pot or fridge in our room, we could hear the folks in the other room , and the dresser drawer was nailed shut. Luckily we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. The beds were comfy at least.
- 5/5
Clean room, courteous staff, great location and price!
- 5/5
Awesome spot with great views. Very clean.
- 2/5
This is the old W hotel. Needs major revocations. It was an amazing hotel, once upon a time… but nothing has been updated. The beds, bathrooms, elevators, everything… is worn out. You won’t get a decent nights sleep. The air is loud, mattresses are slummed. We changed rooms with our Bonvoy status… and I can’t say it was much better. Again lobby is nice, and rooms look nice. But they are used and abused.
- 5/5
Breakfast more easier access
- 4/5
Extremely clean. Very polite staff
- 2/5
Old and beat up
- 4/5
Expensive ass sup par breakfast the pool was closed half of the days we were there no refunds or comps while i picked this hotel for the pool
- 4/5
Room service was excellent but hotel looks a bit tired in the rooms. No robes or slippers. Would be nice to have a coffee service in the room as well.
- 2/5
For the price I paid it was not acceptable and I wouldn't recommend it
- 5/5
Best place
- 2/5
The room look dirty the bed covered look like they were used and never washed. You walk in it looks amazing you go to your room it look terrible I ask for a king room paid for it and they gave me a two twin beds instead.

We loved the breakfast options and the service. Everyone was very friendly and efficient.
- 5/5
This was my first time visiting Chicago and I absolutely loved it. The Wade is one of the best hotels I’ve been to and at a very good price. It’s walkable to everything and that was a plus for me. Even using an uber nothing was too far from the hotel. The staff at the desk and bar were excellent and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.
- 4/5
Very nice hotel great location with excellent lake view rooms. There were cobwebs in some areas of our room but overall was clean. Lobby bar/lounge was a fun spot
- 4/5
The wade was a very good hotel until the music from the 33rd floor was booming until after midnight. I was on the 32nd floor right below the hall. I called and they asked if I wanted to switch rooms but who wants to pack up an entire room at 10:30pm to move. I think they need to inform guests that are below the hall of these events before they put them in the room or don’t put guests in the rooms when you have an event scheduled. Other than that the hotel is very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful I will stay again just on a lower floor.

I love the wade it’s a beautiful experience I just love the atmosphere I had a lake view on the 19th floor and the hotel blessed me with a 50 gift card to use for my birthday and the staff were amazing
- 5/5
Clean, safe and nice
- 5/5
Breakfast is not included with the stay. We did not eat there. We had a lake view from our room, and it was fantastic. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the couch by the window was a great way to read and look out the window. We walked everyday from the hotel. It's only about a mile to Michigan Avenue.

Everything is good

Valet guy was amazing!!
- 5/5

Good clean room ………
- 5/5
Parking quite expensive, but inexpensive alternatives near by.
- 5/5
Everything was great, room was clean, staff was kind, i had two personal issues with the hotel, which is the parking, i feel like if im a resident at you guys hotel parking/valet should come with the room, and the rooms doesn't come with microwaves, although they have one in they snack store you can use, but who want to go downstairs to warm up they food up about time you make it back up its cold, but overall it was nice, thanks Wade team for the great stay!!
- 5/5
Clean room and very accommodating
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, the shower pressure was wonderful, and the location perfect. The only complaint I have is that it is a sliding door vs a real door for the bathroom.
- 4/5
Everything was good except the carpet in general are. It need a replacement.
- 4/5
Good place to stay. Awesome view of the Lake.
- 4/5
As other reviews remark, a bit tired in furnishings. But staff were all very friendly and helpful. We originally had a noisy room by the elevator, but they moved us immediately when we complained. Our room was missing a microwave, but they brought one when we asked and sent someone to replace the hall light. Cleaners were terrific. Nice neighborhood with great coffee at Cupitol around the corner.
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious with a nice view towards the city it was just a bit tired and dated in places. Staff were friendly and the bar area was nice.
- 4/5
Good hotel. House keeping wouldn't come by until late in the day, my only complaint.
- 5/5
All good
- 3/5
Parking was extremely expensive, no coffee or water in room. Elevators were constantly in use causing long waits.
- 4/5
Brilliant location. Used as a base for exploring and the Chicago marathon. Staff friendly. Room was clean.

Location was perfect. Staff was courteous. Room service every day. Breakfast options are close by. Free water refill station and they also provide water bottles each day. Very convenient.

- 5/5
Great location and service
- 5/5
Was great
- 5/5
Great walking distance to everything with great views of the lake and city!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
Right across the street from the navy pier! Everything about the hotel is amazing as far as the lobby, weight room, pool, and room. The only thing that wasn’t good was the beds themselves. The weren’t comfortable. Other than that great place to stay.
- 5/5
clean room nice staff walkable
- 5/5
The room was fantastic. Could use a bit more counter space in the bathroom but beautiful none the less.
- 5/5
Ok
- 4/5
Elevators were congested several mornings---one time down elevator was already completely full starting around the 18th floor, but uselessly stopped 4-5 more times on its way to the lobby.
- 5/5
Dude this place was awesome the view was amazing it’s right in front of O beach, we stayed here for lollapalooza and it was a walking distance and so affordable. There’s a beautiful bar in the lobby that you can drink at and also during festivals they have pop up activations with giveaways such as aperol spritz.
- 3/5
Noises all night. Rooms need a little updating.
- 4/5
I loved staying at this hotel. We parked the car & walked the whole weekend. The man who helped bring our luggage to our room was very kind & did a great job, his name is Dakota. He also was there every day if we had any questions. We had a sunrise view of the Lake from our 14th floor window. We did have a room next to the elevators & that was extremely loud. We had no washcloths in the room. When I called down to get 4, I only was given 2. We were charged a $200 fee for incidentals the day we got there which made us very upset. They did take the charge off when we checked out. Dakota was there to help us put our luggage in our car the day we left. Thanks Dakota for your hard work & kindness.
- 4/5
Room was nice. Plumbing was a little off. Toilet had a hard time flushing and the sink filled up really quickly.
- 5/5
I loved the vibe. As a former Marriott front office manager, I was highly impressed with the front desk Staff. Brandon was excellent. We were in a bit of a predicament due to the pool at another hotel being shut down. This hotels pool was so nice. We were in it every day. 8 ft. deep and provided exercise for me an let my kids get out some energy. Loved every bit of my stay.
- 5/5
It is very nice!
- 3/5
If you’re simply looking for a place to crash for the night, this hotel gets the job done. The rooms are basic and clean, but don’t expect many extras. There’s no control over the HVAC in the room, the beds are on the smaller side, and there isn’t a dedicated sitting area. Service is adequate, though not especially warm—bar staff, for example, wouldn’t bring drinks out to the patio. Overall, it’s a very average stay: nothing terrible, but nothing particularly memorable either. It works best if your priority is convenience rather than comfort or amenities.
- 5/5
Walking distance from eveywhere
- 4/5
The room was clean, quiet and dark at night. It was beautiful to be able to see Lake Michigan from our window! Kids enjoyed the pool.
- 5/5
View was fantastic. All staff were friendly. Good location; walking distance Navy Pier.
- 5/5
We would definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
Fabulous location and great staff. Had everything we could need, plus a short walk to Navy Pier or to shops and dining. Very decorated and cute rooms. Would stay again!

- 5/5
Overall good experience here.
- 5/5
It was a great hotel!! The room was awesome and the view from our floor was beautiful. We were so close to Navy Pier which was definitely a plus.
- 4/5
A little pricey for the room but great location
- 4/5
Everything was great except for the small beds.
- 5/5
Great hotel and staff. Good location near the pier.
- 5/5
Very easy walk to the Navy Pier and the beach and just a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a perfect location with the best views of the city and lake. It’s super close to Navy pier and lots of dining/entertainment options. Short walk to the riverwalk and other attractions.

Clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Was there for a concert and Dr appointment
- 1/5
If you're going to rest, you can't. The elevators make a terrible noise 24/7. I can't wait to get to the airport to sleep during the flight to Florida.
- 3/5
Rooms are small , bathroom looked worn down,
- 5/5
Pretty views
- 3/5
The Best part of staying here was the Lakeview and short walk to Navy Pier. The Hotel service and food could have been better for first time guests like ourselves. Also, the toilet kept running the entire time until my boyfriend fixed it. The Cleaning staff were helpful and pleasant.
- 2/5
No soap or body wash in bathroom. Had a lake view room but the window was so dirty on the outside it ruined the view. The mattress was absolutely disgusting! The market/pantry was a joke. Not much for amenities other than the cold pool and gym. Gym was very well appointed.
- 5/5
The staff were great.
- 5/5
Nice View, clean all around, kind staff, comfy, it just took longer to get checked in.
- 5/5
Great concierge, nice rooms, super clean. Will definitely come back.
- 5/5
Bed was not as comfy as expected but still good. Room was chic. They could keep the bar open longer and bring back the DJ for some nights like they did when they were “The W Hotel”
- 5/5
Enjoyed the water view from my room. The Hammam experience was special as was the massage at the spa.
- 4/5
Staff was awesome! Overnight parking was excessive at $86 a night!
- 2/5
Room wasn’t very clean when we checked in still had food in the fridge from the last people. Went to get ice from the ice machine room and it reeked like urine, there was a garbage can full of used tampons on the ground in the ice maker room.
- 5/5
Overall was a great stay
- 4/5
I also paid extra for the lakeside view, but we were on the ninth floor (still a nice view, but another guest made fun of us for only being on the ninth. Thanks, guy), and our window was extremely dirty. So much so, my phone had a hard time focusing on the view when trying to take a photo (see attached)
- 4/5
Great staff and very comfortable beds
- 5/5
A microwave could have been there in there room.
- 3/5
The staff was good, the reason I would give 3 stars cause of cleanliness. The shower sewer was almost fully clogged. The nightstands were dirty. Also they could do a better maintenance to walls , they start to break. The breakfast was ok, didn't have many options, just picked from the menu, it wasn't an open buffet.
- 5/5
Nice location, very walkable area and nice bar.
- 5/5
clean and nice staff
- 5/5
Wonderful view
- 5/5
Great view on lake side. Close walk to Navy Pier which was great. Most of staff friendly. Downside was waiting at night for elevators. Crowds would gather. Tried early check in my room still wasn't ready at 6pm so they gave me a different room. Overall I'd stay at that location again though.
- 2/5
No overnight parking except for valet which is $86 a night. Internet is not complimentary it is $10 a day.
- 5/5
The view was excellent. The pier is close and it’s great for the family as well.

Remote big Channels skipping 5 channels LG tv Dish cable, didn't even know they existed. No streaming on the tvs No microwave All the windows dirty with big spiders and spiders webon the windows and patio furniture Patio not as advertised Elevators dirty Only one microwave in the building sitting on a towel and doesn't rotate No microwave in the room Had to ask for robes weren't already in the room Terrible *city* view Room service tray been sitting out here since we arrived Wifi is 10$ a day. Why am I paying for wifi and ive already spent $700 in whats suppose to be a 4star hotel The locks do not fully turn and lock Housekeeping rude about asking for extra towels Shower sounded stopped up while turning on the water
- 5/5
Good for price.
- 4/5
The stay would have gotten 5 stars, however the bathroom shower was not clean! there was hair in the drain! Once I made staff aware, they sent someone up to clean it. I also was able to do early check in for additional $50.00
- 5/5
Staff were all very helpful and friendly, attentive to our needs. Rooms were spacious and clean, our lake view was amazing. Well equipped exercise room, pool with 7 ft deep end. Bar and small restaurant available as well. Beds were comfortable, room was a little dated but still nice. Elevators were annoying slow at times. They even had a luggage hold service which was great as our flight was in the afternoon. The lake front beach and walk way were about a 10 minute walk under the expressway, and Navy Pier was about 15 minutes away. Dog friendly, and for smokers, a nice area outside with rocking chairs looking out towards the lake (where you can also watch the fireworks at Navy Pier.
- 5/5
It was very close to navy pier where it was just a 10 min way. And had a great view from our room. Facing the lake
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great property to stay at, get a lake view room . Very friendly staff and clean hotel all around, I’ll stay here again
- 4/5
The property is in a great location. However, needs a little TLC to the decor in the actual rooms. Should be a designated area for smokers…… a lot of smoking in front of the establishment near the rocking chairs that face the lake.
- 5/5
It was great and I appreciated the friendly staff and the cleanliness of my room. It was also very modern and just felt up to date.
- 3/5
The property was very walkable. The hotel itself was ok.
- 5/5
Friendly
- 5/5
Seeing other reviews made me weary about staying here but I had a great experience. Room was beautiful, clean, amazing location. I was about to check-in hours earlier than stated. Would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
Everything here was great other than having to clean our hotel room bathroom a little more thoroughly
- 3/5
Property condition is not accurate, but its a great accessible location.
- 5/5
My housekeeper was amazing, all staff was friendly and accommodating
- 5/5
Everything about the stay was awesome. The service, the guys handling the bags, the rooms, the custodians, the view from the balacony and gym. Especially the speed bag in the gym! I highly recommend this hotel, it was great to see the fireworks at Navy pier from the balacony as well.
- 2/5
This hotel is very nice but too far away from EVERYTHING. Plan on cabs.
- 5/5
The room and view were super nice. Even with not being on the waterfront side of the build we werent disappointed. Check in staff could be nicer but the bar staff was excellent. Nice and informative for travelers. The pier was i. Walking distance. Food and shopping all around and spotless insude and out. Really enjoyed the stay
- 5/5
The pool could have been a bit better
- 3/5
The property was in a great location! Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms felt a bit outdated, but still comfortable. However, my city view was a building view blocking the city view. I would not consider this a city view. Also, I had to call to ask for housekeeping services multiple times during the day, in order to get it done. However, my main complaint is the amount of towels that they would leave on a daily basis. I paid to have 4 people in the room, but I could only have 2-3 bath towels and only 2 scrub towels due to shortage. I am paying for these services for 4 people, but was not allowed to have 1 towel per person?
- 4/5
Very kind valet staff, even when only unloading and choosing to self park. They helped take our things out of the car and bring them to our room. The room had a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. We were able to watch the Wednesday night fireworks from our room! There was a great walkway right on the lake across from our room. It was a great location to the riverwalk and many restaurants. The room was quite small, and there was not a microwave and there was a very small fridge with no freezer space. We were surprised to learn that our room shared a wall with the elevators, so roughly every 30s-1min there was loud whooshing and clanging noises, all day and all night. The bathroom was very small and the bathtub/insert was dingy due to age and wear. The hotel had signs up saying they were in the midst of remodeling various bathrooms. Be that as it may, the floor tile was cracked and missing strips of grout. The sink was very small and did not drain well due to it’s shallow square bowl. It was pretty worn as well. The towels were not the fluffy fresh kind you hope to find at hotels. They were a little rough and did not dry well. There was nearly no options for purchasing onsite other than a fancy bar/restaurant area, and a small and not varied snack room. They do not offer breakfast. There was a room service dept, but we did not purchase anything. There is no coffee really available. The gym was very nice and had a lot of different equipment. There is a pool as well. GREAT VIEWS!

Love it

Great location, quiet, and a great staff.
