    Our family had an excellent stay! All staff were superb! Everyone met you and served you with a smile! When hands full with items and needing to use the elevator, someone would provide assistance……very observant of need……nice touch!

    We’ve stayed at some really nice hotels so keeping that in mind, we had high expectations for this being our first Ritz Carlton stay and it just fell really flat. The front desk staff were nice enough but nothing overly warm or anything that separated it from any other hotel. The room was clean but again pretty average. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows which are down or down alternative had such a low fill power, they were just awful. The most disappointing part of the stay was by far the room service. Our bill totaled nearly $300 which we’re happy to spend if it’s good but the chicken wings which are advertised as “crispy” couldn’t have been further from —extremely rubbery. My husband described his waygu steak “like eating a car tire” (never experienced waygu that bad before.) The cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail had zero horseradish. Just a very odd experience overall and it was enough to not order room service again for the remainder of our stay. The spa was also very …average. My husband said his massage was actually pretty good but mine was nothing at all out of the ordinary… probably one of the lowest ranking I’ve received honestly. The staff at the spa desk and in the locker room though were probably the best part of our whole experience — very friendly, helpful and accommodating. All in all, it wasn’t a terrible stay here but it wasn’t great either. Location is solid but I’d save some money and stay elsewhere to get better food and pillows.

    It’s The Ritz Carlton, everything was as expected. There was a festival and the streets were inaccessible, the young lady was exceptionally friendly (I was tired and frustrated) when we checked in. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves.

    Too expensive for such a basic room. Cheap towels and toilet paper. Broken wall switches. Handle on bathroom door broke. Just a basic room with nothing special. No refrigerator or microwave. For almost $5000 for just 3 nights I had to pay for valet parking and all food (not even free snacks). Complimentary breakfast would have been great for $5000. Bathroom was nice but just a waste of money. Not sure what all the money was for. Will not recommend or ever go back.

    The lobby being on the 12th floor was a little different. Staff all very nice - not quite Four Seasons level but still pleasant and friendly. Really enjoyed the pool and dry sauna on the 11th floor, though regrettably the steam sauna was down for repair. One odd thing - the bathroom in our bedroom (I was there with my two kids), which has no lock, is one common area with the shower and toilet. So make a note - bathroom is one person at a time. No brushing your teeth while your kids use the can or shower (glass walled shower).

    My friends and I stayed here over the weekend for time away to relax and I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. We were in and out dining and shopping, but had a wonderful experience from check in to check out. The view from the room was perfect and the bedding was amazing.     Everything was at the level you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed that the restaurant was closed. This was not mentioned in the booking process or in any of the correspondence before our arrival. We had planned on having a birthday dinner at the hotel.

    Room booked for 3 people. Sleep room only for two. Was lied about rollaway bed being available and would be complementary due to the sleeping arrangements not existing for 3. Rollaway bedding was not available. Was offered another room at a rate more than twice the rate paid originally. No one cared how my stay was during the stay or after. No one even asked during the checkout. This was a complete failure in customer service.

    It was a vacation for my husband and I. Loved the stay, people, room, no complaints. Had a great time. Our waitor Jorge in the restaurant where we had our daily breakfast was awesome, very personable, couldn't ask for a better man. Everyone in the restaurant was great and friendly, including the bar area where we had nighly drinks. We will stay there again. Bellmen were great and helpful.

    This is not a Ritz Carlton Hotel. Dirty and bad conditions towels. Unpolite staff at front desk, especially Ryan. Unskilled concierges at night. The property is old, with poor spa facilities. Rooms are old and without automation. Cheap finishings at bathroom. Bar and Restaurant with no charm. Having a Starbucks inside is something for a 3 or 4 star hotel.

    Not to the typical Ritz level. Traveled in very early. Did not get early check in. Asked for late check out. Was given an extra hour but housekeeping showed up at regular check out time. Elevators not adequate for volume of people. We did not get housekeeping after leaving at 9am and returning almost 3pm. Front desk was indifferent. Again, nothing horrible but not a value for price paid and definitely not consistent with prior Ritz experiences.

    This was my first time staying at the Ritz in Chicago and it did not live up to prior expectations. The door to our room actually locked us out after leaving it and almost took out the whole door jam when trying to get back in. They left the door jam broken and simply got us back in. Mold in the shower the floor to the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. Also found food and a fork behind the curtain upon arrival. Not impressed at all!

    The RC Chicago was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were amazing. At one point, I needed to find a drug store to get my daughter some tampons (lol) because it was "an emergency," and when I asked the concierge for directions, she actually just got me some tampons without me having to go out to get them. I was so appreciative, especially since it was after dark. The patio was so beautiful, as was the lobby and atrium. We had the best time, and the hotel was mostly the reason why. The day we left, the elevators weren't working because of an accidental tripping of the fire alarm, so we had to walk down 16 flights of stairs -- but the staff we encountered were so helpful and apologetic ... and calm, which was surprising in that scenario. Thank you for a wonderful visit, and we will definitely be back!

    The hotel was beautiful, great location, amazing view of the water, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. It was our wedding anniversary and they took such good care of us. 10/10 would stay there again.

    Raquel at the front is definitely a stand out. She should be commended with her top quality, customer service and her positive positive attitude. She was such a great person to meet and a wonderful representation of the Ritz collection. My overall experience was absolutely wonderful and I am quite surprised due to the fact that there was a huge conference going on and numerous people constantly coming and going the Ritz and Staff never skipped a beat.

    My stay was exquisite and memorable. The Bellman were ready and waiting to help welcome me, assist me with my bags, and help me with quickly and safely getting me a taxi to get wherever I needed to go. Front desk check in was impeccable. I was greeted warmly and promptly. I was able to check in early, given a very good overview of the hotel and amenities, and happily even upgraded my stay a bit to have a more enjoyable time as I was traveling for work. I was really happy with my selection of the hotel for my stay as I wanted to be within a certain area of the city, near some specific attractions, and the location ended up being ideal to get to any and everything I could ever need. Impressive marble, design details, and overall look and feel of the hotel and property. Well appointed room and amenities. Fantastic dining. Impeccable service. Housekeeping and turn down services were also lovely and often- replenishing and ensuring I was well equipped and the room was clean daily. Club Lounge and Concierge were especially the highlights of the property and my stay. I very much appreciated the knowledge, recommendations, and generous offerings and options by both Club Lounge and Concierge. The only aspect that wasn't strong was the wi-fi. I hope to stay here again so I can experience the spa, sauna, and steam room along with utilizing the fitness center and enjoying more of the fine dining.
