Reviews
The Emily Hotel is generally well-liked for its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. Many guests appreciate the modern and stylish aesthetic of the rooms, although some find them small and lacking in amenities. The hotel's restaurants, coffee shop, and rooftop bar are popular, but some guests have had issues with the service and availability of these facilities.
- Great location in the West Loop with easy access to restaurants and bars
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Issues with TV and internet service in rooms
- Some guests find the rooms small and lacking in amenities

The staff was great. The room was nice but I would have preferred more towels. The remote in our room wasn’t working fully as well as the steamer in the room. Otherwise, it is a good hotel but would not recommend for families.
- 4/5
Great hotel and location. Rooftop closed so that was a bummer. I like more counter space in the sink area. Not really space for personal items, but other than that -nice stay! Hubby likes that there were soft and firmer pillow options. He doesn’t like that at Hilton all pillows are soft 😂.

The staff I ran into in the hotel from housekeeping to front desk to bell staff were all universally pleasant and helpful. Location was great - convenient to the show I was attending at the Cobra Lounge and to a pretty decent variety of decent looking food options. Don’t miss the Hubbard St viaducts on your morning walk.

Friendly Staff. Nice coffee shop. Comfortable room. Hope you’re an early riser. The very loud train starts coming through at 6am.
- 3/5
For the price you think you could get more than 2 cans of water. The rooms view was of a dirty roof top
- 2/5
The bed sheets had stains
- 5/5
Great gym. I like that there was a coffee shop downstairs as well. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Location was good, room was nice although the bathroom was sooooooo dark. Bathroom too dark, no water out for guests, price was way too much. Prices deliberately increased for that weekend… gouging people.

I loved how clean the room was! There was a mini bar, including snacks that you could partake in for a small fee. My only gripe was no room service. If they had room service, it would be perfection!!!
- 5/5
I stayed for a short business trip. the room was simple but clean and spacious. The lobby and the restaurant / coffee shop were all I needed and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Great location near all the cool restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Great location in the heart of Fulton Market.
- 3/5
Fitness center is a nice size and has a variety of equipment. Looked clean. Now the cons: The bed could've been more comfortable for my liking, but that is solely a personal thing. Everyone has their desired mattress firmness. The shower is open. So only half of the shower has a door and the other half is wide open. They leave a towel in the open area which I put on the floor to prevent slipping but I just thought it was odd. The TV is a smart TV but cable only. Which sucks cause I think at the very least youtube should be offered. No room service Limited toiletries. Of course they have your standard shampoo, conditioner, body wash. But other than they just have a small tube of moisturizer and a small hand bar soap. If you forgot any toothpaste you're need to make a trip to the store. Parking at the hotel is $82 a night which is very high in my opinion, and is deducted from the hold they place on your card.

One of the worst hotel rooms I have stayed in. Tables and drawers made out of plywood, very uncomfortable beds, tv was mounted on side of bed so you had to turn to side to watch it. Low lights, makeup light mounted on opposite side of plug in so you had a cord in front of the mirror. Super basic and not worth the price. Location, bar and coffee were only positives. Would not stay here again.

Great staff.
- 5/5
Great vibes and it’s perfectly located to enjoy the west loop.
- 5/5
First time in Chicago my husband and I enjoyed our stay very much, friendly staff beautiful space.

Had a decent stay. Valet parking is ridiculously priced. Our room faced the train - so it was pretty loud in the morning. The location of the property is the best quality - lots of great bars, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I’d stay here again - without a car.
- 1/5
We waited 2 hours to check in because our room wasnt ready. Zero discount.
- 4/5
loved the simple but very well laid out rooms - lots of shelves and places to hang things. also LOVE that the windows open. that for me is huge. Ditto the coffee shop downstairs. Staff was terrific. As was the location - so many good restaurants nearby. We meant to use the gym but never did but we did peek in and it is a pretty decent size for a hotel gym and love that they have pelotons! would have loved a better breakfast option on the weekend. full brunch didn't start til 11 and we are early risers so all that was available were some pretty basic things at the cafe. prices were VERY high on the weekend. I loved my simple low-key room but it should NOT have been almost $600/night!

Everything. But top of the line is the location, close to many restaurants and cafes and how Personalized the service was. Their attention to detail was exceptional. And they really were helpful in giving their best effort in attending to our request. The room was clean and neat. Nothing

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room and the entire property were spotless and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again, and next time, we’ll try to catch a movie on the rooftop.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this hotel. I visited before a few years ago, but only for the rooftop theater. Me and sister stayed this time for Valentine’s Day. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Very cute boutique hotel. Very clean. Staff were very helpful. I loved the two young ladies in coffee shop. They were so efficient, welcoming and warm.
- 3/5
Booked this hotel for the location, which was great. The room itself had horrible lighting, a sink in the room outside of the bathroom, windows facing an empty building and a very thin and hard mattress. It was an uncomfortable stay, and we asked to extend checkout two hours and were charged an extra 25$ to do so. When we came back to the room, the keys were locked. Overall, hotel was a cheaply built Nobu knock off. Wouldn’t return.
- 4/5
The room was a bit "spartan" but the king bed was extremely comfortable. Just don't stay in room 432. The view is AC units and random other trashy items and the back of a building's roof. It was reminiscent of a 1980s Sanford and Son episode. I got a few emails from the hotel saying that there might be rooms available to upgrade. I really did not want to pay for an upgrade but would you really give your hotel guests a view of the junkyard if there were other rooms as options?
- 5/5
Bar and bar step was excellent. The menu was to die for beautiful property.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Beautiful room
- 5/5
Room was cozy, clean, comfortable! Staff very friendly and in great location
- 5/5
Overall very nice but I’d suggest if you are eating breakfast go off property and try many choices near by. Food and service sas fair at best!
- 5/5
I also enjoyed the coffee bar downstairs. I tried the tuna bowl with quinoa downstairs at the Faro restaurant. It was okay. The service was very slow and not as friendly as the hotel staff was!
- 5/5
All the staff were so kind & courteous. The coffee bar was amazing and so reasonably priced. Fora was delicious. It’s so central to such a fun part of night life. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. 10/10 recommend and will stay again!
- 5/5
The Emily Hotel is in a great location near Fulton Market, was very clean, nice bar and restaurant, and a great workout room! We will definitely stay there again!!

Only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was not great.
- 4/5
Bed uncomfortable, not a great or even good value
- 5/5
Great hotel and close to our dinner reservation.
- 5/5
Room was a mod vibe. No dresser for clothing, but closet & luggage rack worked just fine. Shower and Malin + Goetz toiletries were exceptional. Coffee in room was steeped like in a tea bag- wayyyyy better than most in room coffees (Nespresso pods are still better). Bartender had mad skills. Neighborhood has great food Bev options. View out was not great- just rooftop hvac units.
- 5/5
The check-in with Edson was wonderful! The hotel is very quiet and close to many restaurants and the staff are super kind.
- 5/5
Everything was great!!!
- 5/5
Staff is amazing!! Beds are so comfortable. Great location and easily accessible. 2nd time here and will be back.
- 5/5
Loved the location!
- 4/5
The vibe is very cool and the room is spacious. That said, the fridge in the room is very loud when it turns on, the sink was clogged and slow to drain. There's no room service, you can get food to "take out" at the restaurant. However, the food is presented in a flimsy cardboard container used for leftovers which isn't really fitting for a $25+ entree. Details that just make the place feel less than classy.
- 4/5
Nothing fancy. Fit our needs. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants, etc.
- 5/5
Everything was nice.
- 5/5
Great check in, wonderful customer service and clean comfortable rooms
- 5/5
The staff are all so warm and welcoming. My flight out was delayed so I was able to leave my luggage and take some time to explore the neighborhood some more and work in the lobby/lounge area. I will be staying here again.
- 5/5
The Emily Hotel was excellent! Great staff, room was clean and roomy, bed was so comfy! loved it here, would stay again!!
- 5/5
Will stay there again evrething was perfect
- 5/5
Our three night stay went very smoothly, the rooms were cleaned each night and towel restocked, the overall aesthetic of The Emily is beautiful. The cafe downstairs was very convenient and super fast. Overall a great stay, would recommend!
- 5/5
Great location! Room was nice and clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Such a cute hotel! Everyone was lovely. Would love to see the TVs get Netflix or option for streaming services but our stay was lovely. Thank you Emily team!
- 5/5
Very cool, gorgeous hotel. The rooms offered a lot of amenities and had a fun industrial vibe. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept great! The staff was incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay at The Emily again.
- 5/5
Very accommodating, extraordinarily spacious room, loved the simplicity of the room, amazing service, and perfect location in the West Loop
- 5/5
Great hotel overall - friendly staff, fun bar, and lovely rooms.
- 2/5
Loud noise outside room, paint tore off walls in bathroom
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff were nice. Good coffee shop
- 5/5
We had a great time at the Emily hotel! The valet was wonderful and greeted us as we put the truck in the park. The guys at the front desk made check-in, smooth and easy. We had dinner at Fora which was nice and made for an easy evening. We LOVED our bartenders, Tim and Shawn! They were fun to chat with and super engaging. My husband and I will definitely choose The Emily Hotel on our next visit to Chicago!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Quiet room for Chicago and amazing neighborhood. And one block away for self parking.
- 5/5
Hotel was very stylish…hotel bar and food was great too. Staff was courteous and rooms were clean, we will stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything about this hotel is special. Great staff- awesome restaurant/bar. Location is perfect. This hotel is my destination every time I come to the city. Which is quite often.
- 5/5
Clean room and staff
- 5/5
Great size room, comfortable bed, clean. Love how they have the sink outside of the bathroom. Great location. Few miywalk to the train.
- 5/5
no the room was dirty and smell musty
- 5/5
Nice newer hotel with lots of options. Rooms are a bit industrial but fine, nothing super luxurious but adequate.
- 5/5
My wife and I were in town for a quick two nights. The Emily was in a perfect location. Several amazing restaurants were maybe two blocks away. The rooftop bar is amazing. The rooms are comfortable.

- 5/5
Had a great dinner at Fora before a very short walk to the new years eve event we were headed to and then came back for a great night's sleep in a very comfortable room! All the staff we interacted with were great!
- 5/5
I loved the room the only down side odd that’s it’s not fridge or microwave but other then that is in a really nice area and it was lovely.
- 5/5
My boyfriend and I went for a staycation and had a great time. Staff was great and they also accommodated our dog who joined us for the weekend
- 4/5
Good for a girls night out where we had access to bars and dining. Pricey for what you get, room was small, beds were comfy. Good for a night out downtown
- 5/5
The room was the perfect size and was very clean. The bed was a little hard, but other than that we loved our stay!
- 5/5
Clean rooms & courteous staff
- 3/5
The pictures of the room were not accurate to what I booked. The food from the hotel restaurant was shockingly bad.
- 5/5
The front desk person upon check in was kind and helpful. The location was convenient and the amenities were also great!
- 5/5
We will absolutely be back anytime we’re in the city and if you want a clean, enjoyable, tentative stay this is the place to go to!
- 5/5
it was amazing staff was very accommodating for everything and very polite would definitely come again

- 5/5
Staff was awesome
- 4/5
Yes room was clean and orderly with everything in place. Front desk and dining staff were professional and thoughtful. Music in restaurant was a bit high for volume, more relaxing type of music would be nice. Food was good and happy hour specials were nice. enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
The Emily is a very nice hotel, but I was a little underwhelmed by it for some reason. Going into it, my impression was “new hotel with minimalist approach that has an artsy vibe.” We did find some art in one area by the elevator but I was expecting much more. We stayed in a King Deluxe and the room had everything we needed but did feel a little drab - maybe it’s the choice of paint color in the hallways and bathroom, maybe it was actually the minimalist approach? Something about it felt dark and flat. There is a steep step up to get into the shower that I think could be difficult and possibly dangerous for short people or someone with a disability. The bed was really comfortable, though, and the mini bar was stocked with a good variety if you’re willing to pay for it. We went to Fora for breakfast and my husband was really pleased with his meal, but, my meal - the breakfast sandwich, did not match the description in the menu and was extremely hot. I scalded my tongue on it. The staff at desk and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful, at all hours of the day/night. Definitely felt safe there and walked ALL over the neighborhood. Tons of restaurants and craft cocktails to choose from.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and comfortable room, courteous staff. We received a $25k food credit through Expedia and got exceptional pastries and coffee at the adjacent cafe.
- 5/5
Leo handled our stay and made it seamless with first class service. Much appreciated!

Small, but adequate room. Was there for a wedding on property. Suggestion: blankets?
- 4/5
Room was good, reception staff very good. Breakfast staff not quite so good. Disappointing that breakfast does not start till 9am on a Saturday.
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff
- 5/5
Really cool modern space
- 5/5
Great Coffee shop and Gym
- 5/5
Always a great stay! Staff are great and rooms present great value.
- 2/5
Unfortunately, I think this hotel is overpriced for what it is. It used to be an ace hotel, and is transitioning out of that ownership. My sense is that it will get better overtime, but for now the location is it best asset
- 4/5
Great Hotel,
- 5/5
Excellent stay. The hotel staff is very courteous and helpful, and the location is great!
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable.

We really like The Emily Hotel Chicago. We've stayed a few times this year because the location is very near many great restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has really good dining and lounge options. The staff treats us very well and the rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. A great hotel in a really fun part of town!
- 4/5
The decor is dark especially in the hallways and minimalist. The rooms are comfortable and have a nice set up.
- 5/5
I loved everything about this hotel
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, cozy, and conveniently located near the CTA and several great restaurants. The beds were very comfortable, and overall it was a great stay. My only small complaint is that I wish there had been a shower door, as it felt a bit cold without one. Other than that, everything was excellent!
- 5/5
It was very clean, quiet and a unique space. It was in walking distance of a lot of great restaurants. My husband loved the mattress. Great water pressure on the fourth floor.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, well equipped gym.
- 4/5
Friendly Hotel with great amenities and fabulous location.
- 4/5
Staff friendly and convenient. However, a bit loud, like we were on the sidewalk hearing music, cars and trains. Room was very minimal and a bit stark. Most like a dorm room/hostel. Very low lighting, fine except to try to read at night.
- 5/5
Great hotel, accommodating, and very clean.
- 5/5
Excellent location
- 5/5
Lovely
- 5/5
Well stocked bar, friendly staff and excellent location. Room was pretty bare bones but had everything we needed!
- 4/5
Love the Emily! Only small complaint was the couch was not really that comfy for a third person to sleep on. Upgraded to a bigger room since we had three and it wasn’t that great. Plus no door to the shower area.
- 5/5
I stayed here for one night for business travel. The room was huge. Great mini bar options. I had a nice breakfast at the restaurant.
- 5/5
Perfect location and atmosphere
- 5/5
Nice room and a very nice hotel overall. I’ve stayed a couple of times now and it’s consistently solid.
- 5/5
Very convenient location, clean, comfortable.
- 5/5
The little items - a screen cleaning cloth for my iPad and the way they organized our messy charging electronic charging cords.
- 5/5
Clean and in a great area.
- 5/5
The room was very clean
- 5/5
clean room, nice lobby, live music
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in great walkable area. There were major renovations going on while we were there so our actual floor was a bit messy/busy, although the common areas remained lovely. Would stay again for the good location. All staff very nice.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms
- 5/5
Rooms were clean modern and had loads of desk space but no dressers or nightstands. Staff was helpful in telling us about the nearby parking garage beneath the Google building across the street. We parked our car there for $57/ day vs Valet for $85 (with unlimited in and) at The Emily. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
Great experience with a wonderful staff
- 5/5
I was at the Emily for a business trip & it was the perfect location for our group. We were working at a co-working space in Fulton Market, so we were able to walk there as well as to many great restaurants
- 5/5
Clean staff
- 3/5
Bad water pressure
- 3/5
I was so disappointed in my stay at the Emily. For almost $500/night I was expecting nice, spacious rooms. The room was so small, the sink was in the hallway, the bed was so uncomfortable, dingy design. I’ve stayed at better Aloft or Moxy rooms. The food at Fora, the hotel restaurant, is uninspired and unseasoned. The brunch chiliques were bland. Skip this hotel in west loop and stay at the hoxton instead
- 5/5
Kind staff, clean and well appointed rooms.
- 5/5
. Extra star of the hotel - the adjacent coffee shop!!!!!
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful! Great staff and perfect location
- 5/5
Nice area, easy to get to, close to things to do
- 5/5
Everything was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay!!
- 5/5
This is my go to spot when I visit my favorite city with family or for work.
- 4/5
A pleasant stay.
- 1/5
The rooms have paper thin walls, DJs play all night and you can hear it clearly. Also extremely dimly lit and the bathroom is very dark and feels like a prison.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Food was great. Easy access to lots of restaurants. Great place to stay.
- 4/5
The rooms were not very well decorated. The furniture used in the room looks like furniture from a detention house. Not my favorite.
- 5/5
The loft suite was nice, so spacious. Zero shower privacy/door at all for those that care! :)
- 5/5
Loved it will be staying here again
- 5/5
Came for the Arc Music Festival. I was in walking distance to it. Felt stay walking around the area.
- 5/5
We have stayed here a handful of times now and consistently have the best time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We love grabbing some cocktails and a snack at Fora and ending our night on the rooftop. We also have been to Sushi By Bou a handful of times and have the most amazing experience. The location is beautiful, safe and convenient. Walkable to all the Chicago things we love to do. I recommend The Emily to everyone I know traveling to Chicago and we can’t wait for our next visit!
- 5/5
She went for her bachelorette party and the staff were extremely accommodating as well. We will be back.
- 5/5
Beautiful property close to the Fulton Market and night life. The room was eccentric in a way that made our stay cool. It was clean and stocked with a bar & snacks for additional purchase. We enjoyed the Rooftop Cinema on the 6th floor, it was playing my favorite movie! And the restaurant Fora had a delicious breakfast. We definitely recommend this property.
- 5/5
The pillows were the best!! The shampoo and conditioner were also very good, feels like clean products. It was quiet and love the black out curtains. Didnt have a chance to try the coffee bar downstairs, but it looks legit! Would stay again
- 5/5
Edu nice place to stay with a nice boutique style set up.
- 5/5
Great clean hotel...comfortable bed!! Great service, great location, and close to food!! Elevators are quick and convenient! Soo happy with our stay and will definitely stay again!!!
- 3/5
I loved the location - it was very walkable and lots of restaurants/shops nearby. The room itself was average - beds were very low and the furniture was kind of odd - mostly plywood built ins. But the one room served it's purpose and was clean. The issue was, I had reserved TWO rooms, but when I arrived I was informed they only had one room for me. Apparently they didn't accept the second room reservation... Neither the Emily nor Expedia notified me that one of my "PREPAID" rooms was not reserved. There were NO rooms available in the Hotel for Saturday, nor in the entire city of Chicago on Labor Day weekend, so we were left scrambling to find a place to accomodate the six of us (i.e friends couches, etc.). Not sure which company is ultimately to blame, but needless to say, ALWAYS double check your reservation with this place before you travel.
- 4/5
Parking too expensive.
- 5/5
Great hotel, especially for the price, nice area, would go back again if I’m in Chicago.
- 5/5
Clean, new looking, stylish hotel! Plenty of food options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again just wish it was closer to downtown where all of the attractions are
- 5/5
In a very fun part of Chicago. Easy to find and conveniently near a train station.
- 5/5
We have stayed at The Emily Hotel twice and has become our go to for our yearly trip for an event in town. Every time we visit the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience from check in, valet parking, amenities, and room service.
- 1/5
Although the hotel looks from the outside, be very cool once we got to our room we were sadly disappointed. Did you sell plywood throughout the whole construction made the place feel cheap. There was no hooks in our room to hang anything. There also was a constant shortage of towels which we had to constantly order. There was no chair in the room, other than the wire desk chair. The only place to sit down the bed.. this hotel for $500 a night should’ve been amazing but it felt like we were camping.
- 5/5
Also the coffee bags ? PERFECTION. Just had to add that
- 5/5
See my Google review. CBR.
- 5/5
Rooms are basic and bathrooms and sink area small. But all comfortable
- 5/5
Excellent customer service. Loved the location. Rooms were spotless and well stocked. Rooftop cinema, two bars/restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, rooms very clean, food was excellent
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable, but the linens were very wrinkled and the comforter had stains on it.
- 5/5
It was a comfortable stay and convenient to restaurants and shops. It was difficult to park nearby the hotel so we did valet parking for convenience of $80 a night. Our car was kept safe. The only issue was the noise from the parties from the restaurant music or nearby bars and rooftop music. It did go off around midnight so we were ok with it.

First time staying. Seemed to have all you’d want in a hotel amenities wise but the water pressure was very poor. Just barely enough for a decent shower. Wouldn’t risk staying their again for that alone since the rest of it wasn’t enough to overcome it.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Emily Hotel. We had a great room at a great price. The check in was quick and easy, we valeted our car which was worth every penny for the convenience. Coffee every morning and a cocktail every evening at the hotel were very nice. The area around the hotel is a whirlwind of fantastic dining and nightlife options. If you're looking for upscale fun for the weekend, you'll love The Emily Hotel in Chicago!

Great location with many great food and drink options. The room is a modern industrial design with unfinished walls and ceiling. It looks nice but not exactly my style. The room was clean and was comfortable for a two night stay.

Very clean, great location, super comfortable

All staff were exceedingly polite. Restaurant food was good and our server, Ben, was amazing and so helpful.

Great staff and service.

Generally happy with the property, but the rooms weren’t totally soundproof so there was some noise

Lovely property. VIP we used for breakfast

Really nice and amazing location!! Would stay again!

Moments after arriving the hotel room, I took a shower and when I got out, there was a cockroach on my floor near the bed.
- 5/5
The Emily was a super nice hotel with very friendly staff and conveniently located near lots of restaurants and bars

I’d like to give props to the housekeepers the most. Anything I used, that product was replaced. Very attentive.
- 5/5
It was close to everything

We had a great experience at the Emily hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Decent size for a city hotel. We did not take advantage of the food at the hotel but many great restaurants within walking distance. Water or bottle filling station in the lobby area would have been helpful.

This is a really nice hotel! I would stay here again.

Very good location. Valet parking way too expensive with very limited other options and lots of construction.
- 4/5
Good hotel. Staff is excellent and attentive. Room is comfortable for one person traveling alone. There are three drawbacks did business travelers: 1 - the desk chair is very uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes. As a result, no biz traveler could work from the room for more than a short call or video. 2 - there is no room service. I got take out from Fora, but room service is imoortant for biz travelers. 3 - the doors don’t keep noise out, and I heard people making noise in the hall until well past midnight.

The hotel is walkable to many restaurants. Nice neighborhood!

Everything was excellent

I love staying at the Emily hotel as they have a coffee shop, bar, and gym on-property. There was an event on the rooftop when I was there and the DJ was VERY loud which made it hard to go to sleep one of the nights I was visiting. But overall, great stay!
- 4/5
I stay here a lot for work and can always rely on the Emily being a great hotel to stay at while I'm in Chicago for work.
- 3/5
Cute and trendy hotwl but there was a loud party on-site which ruined experience. It felt clean but our mini fridge had takeout left from former guest, so maid service obviously missed that.

What a great location for tourists, close to so many sights in Barcelona!!
- 5/5
Loved everything about the Emily. Location was great and the property was extremely nice. Happy to stay here again.
- 5/5
Came here on a quick girls trip with my daughters & we had a fabulous time!
- 5/5
No complaints! The staff was very friendly, our room was clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Brunch at the hotel restaurant was delicious. We'd definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
Great hotel with the exception of a terribly uncomfortable bed. The mattress was incredibly firm and difficult to sleep on.
- 5/5
My stay at the Emily was great. The staff were okay, I didn’t get a welcoming gift however my room was cleaned daily. I like that. The rooftop movie is top tier and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here

Overall the hotel is acceptable. However, in staying Sunday evening, there was a DJ hosted party on 7th floor, we were on the 3rd floor, the music from the DJ was pounding so hard it was shaking the windows and vibrating the closet doors so loud it was difficult to carry on a conversation. We needed to get up early the next morning and the pounding went on until 10 pm. In speaking to the management they said they were powerless in asking the party to turn down the volume of the music, an unacceptable excuse. Highly disappointing with the lack of consideration to a paying guest!

Nice hotel. Good location near train station. Lots of food options at and around the hotel. Would stay again.

Great place

Despite some communication difficulties upon booking as to whether an accessible room would be available, we ended up in a spacious, super accessible beautiful room. The only thing that was inconvenient was how far the accessible rooms were from elevator. I understand that the size of the room probably accounts for the reason why but as a disabled person, the distance was difficult. They have a great bar and restaurant in the lobby, and a cute movie on the roof event on weekends. The only thing that could possibly improve it is a pool. The neighborhood is very lively and diverse with plenty of nightlife within walking distance.

The emily hotel is a cute little hotel with amovue theater on the roof. Very convenient to the abundance of restaurants in the west loop fulton market area.
- 3/5
We were not super happy with how clean the ceiling was and how minimal the decor was for the price we paid. Decent stay but nothing extraordinary. Front desk did not off cinema experience or anything. But its was a goos stay
- 2/5
Not a good experience or customer service, for the price felt like this rooms were very cheap, we only stayed one night and moved to another hotel downtown for the same price.
- 5/5
Spacious room with a very comfortable bed, comfortable room temperature on a hot weekend, large bathroom and spacious work station. Close to trains that transport to the loop within minutes.
- 5/5
This property was great! Great area!
- 5/5
Would stay here again and highly recommend

I was on the third floor, but there were no ice machines. So I was very that grateful that the FRONT DESK brought me ICE whenever I needed it needed it. Why don’t you offer shower caps automatically in every room? Ugh!
- 5/5
The property was nice and the staff was amazing, very helpful, very friendly, and very hospitable.
- 5/5
Great hotel, location, friendly staff, and overall fit the bill very well!
- 5/5
Room was clean, simple yet cool. Front desk was very courteous, was able to check me in early as well as hold my bags for a few hours after checkout.
- 5/5
Room was clean. We elected no maid service during our short stay. Oh, and the tub/shower surround was impossibly high and it was slippery at the bottom of the tub and got a nasty string of bruises on my thigh from it. If you stay here, try and get a room with the handicap bathroom. We aren’t handicapped but this tub surround was ridiculously high and with the bar handle in a dumb place. Bed was super comfortable and pillows nice. Chairs were meh. We got the executive king. No microwave which is fine but a good safe for belongings. Fan was super loud but it drowned out the traffic noise down below which was loud. We did sleep well though.

Great area with lots of amenities and good vibes. Lots of very nice restaurants around. Definitely will recommend

It fit our needs

Great location; friendly staff. Nice to have a cafe and bar/restaurant on site although lots of great options in the area. Would definitely stay again.
