Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience, enjoying clean rooms and helpful staff. However, there are recurring complaints about the high cost and availability of parking, as well as some issues with breakfast and outdated facilities.
- Clean rooms
- Helpful staff
- High cost and limited parking
- Issues with breakfast
- 4/5
Generally a good value stay with convenient hotel shuttle. Rooms a good size but in need of modernisation. Good breakfast and lots of free coffee.
- 5/5
What I liked about SpringHill Suites Chicago O’Hare was its combination of comfort, convenience, and friendly hospitality. The spacious suite-style rooms provided plenty of space to relax, work, and unwind after a busy day. Its location near O’Hare Airport made traveling easy while still offering access to Chicago attractions. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the morning, and the clean, well-maintained facilities created a welcoming atmosphere. What stood out most was the helpful and courteous staff, who worked hard to make guests feel comfortable and valued. Overall, the hotel offered a pleasant, relaxing, and memorable stay.
- 4/5
Beware: because of the amount of rooms here the breakfast area resembles a theme park. Lots of people only concerned with their own desires! Very crowded and hectic!
- 5/5
About a 3/4 of a mile walk from the Cumberland stop off the Blue Line. Room was spacious! Loved that the TVs had YouTube and Netflix installed on them. Free breakfast! I'd stay here again!
- 3/5
The area is good and the rooms are clean enough. The tub in the room we stayed in had paint chipping, and the carpet felt a bit dirty. Staff was overall nice. It was well enough maintained for a one night stay, but I probably wouldn’t do an extended trip here.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean upon arrival. Free shuttle to/ from the airport was convenient but had a hard time finding the shuttle station at the airport area. Pool was small, but the water was nicely temperature controlled. Free breakfast was tasty and convenient. Elevators were slow and lots of people were stuck waiting on the first floor. Laundry room was convenient and you can pay with card to use the machines, they are all on the 9th floor though. Front desk sells detergent for about $2. Overall great stay!!
- 5/5
We had a good stay but the Hotel is old need to be remodeled and for where the hotel is located didn't like that we need to pay for parking, the hotel has a funny smell, breakfast was good and for what we needed to stay was ok.
- 3/5
Airport shuttle driver dropped us at the WRONG TERMINAL at OHARA! Our instructions were very clear and yet he unloaded our bags and drove off!
- 5/5
Was a very nice stay, accessible and breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Everything was great here. So easy to access the CTA station to go to downtown and of course easy access to O’Hare when flying out.
- 5/5
Todo estuvo excelente desde el servicio hasta la limpieza y la comodidad de la habitación.
- 3/5
It was the worst handicap parking that I’ve ever seen at any hotel. There were only two parking slots at eachend of the hotel. These parking spots were a good half a block away from the entrance while there were at least 10 parking spots right next to the entrance for regular customers. Not only that but you had to pay $33 a night for parking. I won’t stay there again. Also, the room was a weird configuration with the television on a stand between the living room and the bed and the remote of the television wouldn’t work. What happened?
- 4/5
All was good but put us in a wheelchair specific room. A lot of the features were simply different. Clean and comfortable otherwise.
- 5/5
This was an overall great experience and a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and the overall stay was fantastic. You do have to pay to park in the parking lot which was kinda dumb but I would definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Everything was fine, except I always felt I was in the dark. Room a little dark a d I thought a door would separate the bedroom from the living space...no door made it less private
- 5/5
Room was very clean, breakfast was good, no issues at all.
- 4/5
Be aware, you may get double charged for parking, even though you only stay one night. We were charged extra a day after we had checked out.
- 5/5
All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a locked closet where they’ll hold your stuff if you can’t get checked in early (I arrived many many hours before check in and they still managed to protect my belongings and get me into a room as quick as possible). I really appreciate all of the staff including house keeping they were super great!
- 5/5
Breakfast was pretty good, rooms were very clean and spacious. i enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Thanks for the pleasant experience!

Nothing

Hotel put me in a handicapped room, not what I reserved. I asked if I could be put in a regular room and Bobby Saldana, night supervisor told me there were no rooms left and it was my fault for not checking in earlier. I told him about my son calling earlier. He did not care. I got mad because when I was at the lobby, there was a line of people checking in so when I asked why they were getting the right accommodation, he replied because they were VIP (no way could he tell because they were not in a group). He was mad because i complained that I could not close the door to the bathroom because the mattress was too way out and not able to close easily. He came to the room and kicked the door to be able to close it. I had so many issues, refrigerator not working, lightbulbs not working but it was his attitude that made my whole 9 days there, the worst experience. If he has a bad day, he should stay home instead of treating guests like second class citizens. I have always stayed at the SpringHill Suites on Higgins Chicago but that was my last time and I do not recommend it unless you do not mind paying high prices for a very poor treatment. Bobby Saldana should work behind the scenes. In 9 days he did not move me to the room a reserved.
- 4/5
Was Suprised there were no USB ports in the room and they need to fully state that parking is a pay to park situation not just self parking.
- 5/5
Not thrilled about having to pay for parking but great location and well maintained hotel. Excellent breakfast and staff!
- 3/5
The breakfast was somewhat disappointing, as it was limited to a basic continental breakfast with few options. I did not have the opportunity to use the hotel amenities during my stay, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, the shuttle service was a standout feature and contributed positively to my experience.
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 3/5
The room was nice & quiet. The breakfast was great. Everything was clean. The only thing we were unhappy about was checking in, parking our car & seeing a sign that told us we had to pay $33 pernight to park in the hotels lot. We didn't see anything about that when we booked the room for several nights. When we checked out, I was asked how everything went. I told the her everything was really nice but that weren't pleased with having to pay for our parking. I mentioned there was nothing about that when we booked our room so we could decided if we wanted to do that or not. She said, "it actually is online. It says self parking & there are little tiny words underneath that no one reads & if you click on those it tells you". I told her we felt that was deceitful. I was kind & so was she so it was a good exchange. We've never had to pay for parking before. We felt that was a big add on to the price we were already paying.
- 5/5
Our room was a little smaller than our liking, it wasn't the cleanest I found soup residue and hair in the shower. The beds were clean and comfortable. The pool, breakfast, and location were excellent!
- 5/5
It was just an overnight close to the airport that served its purpose.
- 5/5
Airport shuttle was an added bonus. They even paid for cab ride when the shuttle got late. The front desk was very helpful and professional. The only downside was that the breakfast area is small and got very chaotic on weekend mornings. Wish they used paper plates rather than styofoam plates.
- 5/5
Was very impressed by the room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff was extremely nice and accommodating.
- 5/5
Wasn’t a lot of parking but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean
- 5/5
Room was cleaned when I arrived everything was organized, also the staff is very nice and helpful.

While staying in this hotel (SpringHills Suites Chicago O'Hare) from May 15 to May 19, 2026 a bag containing gifts was taken from my room on May 17 presumably by the maid cleaning the room. I found the bag missing around 5 PM. Nonetheless, I contacted the front desk manager (Bob) who used all kinds of ridiculous excuses (too busy, can't contact housekeeping supervisor) to basically do nothing. He even had the gall to say to me "how do I know what you say is true". He couldn't care about what happened to me in his hotel. In view of this total inertia, I decided to report the theft to the Chicago police
- 4/5
Property and room were nice and clean, staff were all pretty nice. Shuttle from the airport is confusing because another Marriott hotel is on Higgins Rd and they pull up on the same schedule so we got on the wrong one and had to uber to the right hotel down the street. Breakfast was not good, on weekends they bring out the waffle makers which was nice, reviews said there was an omelet bar which we never saw and good cinnamon rolls which again we didn’t see. Just greasy turkey sausage and watery eggs.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Breakfast choices was the same everyday.
- 4/5
No on site restaurant.
- 4.5/5
I really enjoyed the breakfast that was available
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay near the airport. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I've had. Soundproofing of rooms was great. My only complaint was the excessively high price for parking.
- 5/5
Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel allowed us to park for free. Everything was good.
- 3/5
The airport shuttle was running late, had to be put on a waitlist to check in. Waited nearly two hours to check in. Air conditioning didnt work properly. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Exercise room equipment was dirty and sticky. Breakfast was decent and had hot options.
- 3/5
Check in was chaos. Fully booked and no rooms ready at check in. Had to wait in the overly crowded (15+ people) for an hour. A man walked up and threw a pity party to the front desk guy, who got him a room right away (same room as we booked). How did he skip the waiting list, yet we had to wait hours? Short staffed it seemed. LOUD- planes going over continually with no sound barrier walls. PARKING IS NOT FREE- $32 a day. PARKING LOT NOT OWNED BY HOTEL. No shuttle service anywhere except airport. Breakfast was good and hot. Garbage bins overflowing most of the areas. Staff at the desk was very nice, just very rushed, overworked, and the system they have doesn’t suit the needs of the business.
- 1/5
They don’t have house keeping on the weekends
- 3/5
I liked that it was well kept, and that it was right around the rosemont area. For the price i paid, the king suite was incredibly small. Also a few things were NOT as advertised on the site. First, the suite did NOT appear to have a pull out couch, next the parking was not free and was incredibly expensive, and there was no bar (at the time).
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
Breakfast was perfect!
- 5/5
Only drawback was getting in and out of parking lot
- 5/5
The room was clean. We were very surprised with payed parking! We gave $32 for 24 hours but our stay was only 17 hours! Never nobody requires a payment for hotel stay!
- 5/5
Our stay was such a breath of fresh air! This property is a positive example of hotel hospitality! Five stars! Great job!
- 5/5
Service was excellent and my room was upgraded for free! Very happy with the breakfast buffet and room!
- 3.5/5
Dated facility, definitely needs an overall upgrade
- 4.5/5
Clean, good breakfast, nice staff Had booked a handicap accessible room, but they had all been given away. Offered to put us on waiting list, but it wasn't that big of a deal so we took a regular room.
- 2/5
Old. 25 minutes to check in
- 2.5/5
No free parking no restaurant
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
A phenomenally clean quiet room with a great breakfast, excellent staff and convenient location. My only complaint is the ridiculous price for parking.
- 3.5/5
Close to the airport. Clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The sink is outside the bathroom which is weird. It’s also weird that there’s no housekeeping on weekends. The breakfast was ok.
- 1/5
This hotel has seen better days. Room had an odor and furniture well worn.
- 3/5
Parking for 3 days cost $100.00. Way too much for the location of the hotel. Breakfast was great as usual.
- 2.5/5
Upon arrival, we were told our reservations were cancelled. The hotel was no help and the staff rude.
- 3.5/5
Very disappointed in not being able to use the pool... main reason we chose this hotel
- 5/5
convenient location
- 5/5
Free Breakfast was great abd l received an upgraded room.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
Pool closed out of use. This was a convenient location with easy shuttle service to and from airport and food delivery from pizza restaurant near by.
- 4.5/5
Stay was comfortable and quiet
- 4/5
Close to home
- 5/5
Great value - love the spacious room Not much for restaurants nearby
- 3.5/5
Rooms are quite big, and you have a small kitchenette. Also bed is confortable and good shower with great pressure. Breakfast is served in foam plates which release harmful chemicals, especially with hot or greasy food. Rooms in second floor are very noisy, not only because of the highway, but also there is a constant noise (like if there was a huge machine on top of my room activated) which made it very difficult to sleep. I asked for a change and was allowed after being persistent, yet recommend you make sure you are not placed in those.
- 3/5
This place was ok, but the communication about the airport shuttle could have been clearer.
- 5/5
Amazing property, definitely have to come back
- 4/5
Parking lot is small, hard to find parking. $35 fee for parking for 24 hrs. Room had mini holes in the wall, stains on carpet, and leg on mini fridge was broken so it sat lop sided. Not the best but ok for the price paid.
- 2/5
Location was good breakfast was good staff friendly The room was not up to standards for what it cost. The carpet wasn’t laid correctly and or a piece was missing. Either way there was a lot of dirt in the gap between the carpet and door to the bathroom. Furniture was old and sketchy looking. For the price I paid it should have been in excellent condition. I should not have been afraid to sit on the couch.
- 4/5
Nice stay. However, would have liked a heads up on phone parking system and cost- $32 for overnight parking.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
The neighborhood was a bit sketchy, but the hotel was great! The staff were so kind. The pool was being renovated, but the staff were able to give us access to a pool at another hotel that was 10 minutes away. The hotel room was very clean. The shower had some marks, like maybe paint was scratched off or something, but that did not bother me. The breakfast in the morning was great too!
- 3/5
The pool was closed. The room could’ve been more well kept and clean, it was a bit dusty and the bathroom was not fully cleaned. We requested some washcloths and towels and never received them!
- 5/5
Clean comfy room, nice shuttle drivers, and friendly staff all around. Breakfast was good, coffee much better than expected!
- 4/5
I would have liked a restaurant/bar for dinner, because there isn’t much in the immediate neighbourhood in that regard.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Parking was pretty pricy for only a one night stay.
- 3/5
And the bathroom could have been in better shape. The paint was peeling from the ceiling and there was rust in the bathtub. You can see where they repainted the bathtub. Also the plug inns on the light stand were very loose and would not hold a phone charger block.
- 2/5
No water in pool rooms dirty pet friendly
- 4/5
Overall great experience. Unaware of the pool was down until April 14. And you have to Paid to park.
- 4/5
Very clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, cute spacious rooms.
- 5/5
Good service. Place is nice
- 4/5
Wasnt the cleanest i did find a ring that men use under the mattress and it was pretty dirty but i contacted housekeeping and they took care of the issue roght away. The staff was great! The polish woman who is at the front desk was super sweet and helpfull and full of good information about the area and travel i also really liked the shuttle service and the driver was polite and helpful aswell.
- 5/5
Clean, accommodating
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. You do have to pay for parking but the accommodations are great. Bed was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was tasty with a variety of hot continental choices
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful! We needed to book a room unexpectedly because our flight experienced multiple delays. The desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly and it was great to be treated kindly after an exhausting day at the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable. The property could use some updates (loose handles on the faucets and some leaked and the carpet appeared to be worn) but overall it was fine. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of food and everything was delicious.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Cost
- 5/5
It was an amazing stay, no complaints from me. Staff was generous and kind. Definitely will stay here again if I come back to Chicago..
- 5/5
Easy shuttle , perfect breakfast , staff friendly
- 5/5
More variety of food would have been great
- 5/5
Staff was awesome! We called them M & M. Food was very good. Room was clean except there was a cleaning rag left in my room. Transport to and from airport was good. The only thing I would’ve liked was a restaurant with bar. However we found a cute little pizza place right down the street and the food was amazing!
- 5/5
Excellent location near the airport
- 5/5
Stay here quite often always a great time when Staying here! Breakfast is very good especially considering it’s included with your stay, look forward to staying there again soon!
- 5/5
very friendly staff
- 5/5
Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with plenty of options like turkey sausage, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal. While the property itself felt a bit dated in terms of decor and finishes, it was nevertheless clean and comfortable. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a dependable option for a quick trip, especially if proximity to the airport and ease of travel are priorities.
- 5/5
Probably better if there was thermostat in the room wherein we can adjust the temperature specifically, instead of low / high option. Initially it was hot in the room but it became cold and comfortable in the evening
- 5/5
Shuttle service, location, friendly staff and comfortable room made tor a good stay for one night prior to our international flight.
- 4/5
The pool.area needs some renovations. The bottom of all the doors are rusting. The bath tub faucet dripped the whole time we were at the hotel. The staff was all friendly very helpful. We tryely enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
The breakfast was exceptional and hot and the rooms were clean and well kept up. Would definitely stay at this location again in the future!
- 4/5
Noisy. Because it’s by the freeway and train. But very close to the airport and fine for one night.
- 4/5
You should be aware that parking is $33/night.
- 5/5
The staff are very efficient, helpful and polite
- 4/5
The rooms was nice. The TV did not work
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
We got to hotel at midnight and had no problem checking in. The shuttle was very convenient. Hotel explained how the shuddle, contintenal breakfast, and everything else they provided. Staff was very awesome and helpful! Great stay for only beings there 7 hrs.
- 3/5
This was a good hotel for the reason as to why we were staying, but the room was far from clean. There was obviously a smoker in the room before us, because the wet towel was still wrapped around the smoke detector. I also found dirty socks under the bed.
- 4/5
staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Everything about the hotel was great. Staff rooms and hotel
- 5/5
Airport shuttle was very good and timely.
- 4/5
Staff behind the desk was very helpful with the check in process.
- 5/5
Every thing was great
- 5/5
I always enjoy my stay at the SpringHill suites. The only thing I would suggest is for people with small children they should have bassinet beds instead of the big play pens beds other then that I enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Lovely stay. Enjoyed the pool, the comfy bed, the punctual and friendly shuttle service.
- 5/5
Awesome😍
- 4/5
Our stay here was amazing! It was very clean, and they even came in to make the new bed and more towel towels without us even asking. The pool is heated so that was a plus the only unfortunate thing was parking was very expensive for the 3 days we were there we had to spend an extra hundred dollars for a parking. They should definitely include that in there.
- 4/5
Everything for the mosr part was great. Nice clean room, easy check in process and friendly staff. One less star because breakfast wasn't great. Lol. Such a minuscule thing to complain about, but I book hotels based on whether or not they include a continental breakfast, so I'd like for it to be really good. Otherwise, really nice place.
- 5/5
The room was amazing and the front desk staff were so friendly!
- 3/5
staff were nice. okay neighborhood. rooms a bit outdate
- 5/5
The staff was very welcoming and nice and clean
- 5/5
Another stay in this hotel. Wonderful as usual!
- 5/5
Clean Room, Staff, amenities, good heat,.... All of it Was good
- 5/5
Pool was very warm. Hotel and room is very clean
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Great Staff
- 5/5
All good, like the setting
- 5/5
Staff was great and breakfast was sneaky good. Nice having a shuttle to and from the airport.
- 1/5
By far the worst Spring Hill suites I’ve ever stayed in. Ancient heating system, mediocre from the front desk to the rooms. It say queen size bed but they are really full size. Room was cold they had to bring a small heater. This was really a last resort since my flight was cancelled but I will Never stay at this location again
- 5/5
Good room - close to the venue I was going to! Easy check in and check out . Loved the easy way to get to and from the airport with the hotel shuttle . Would stay again !
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 1/5
Horrible stay barely slept .kids running in hallways knocking on my door and other ppl door called twice but you obviously didn't have a good security because nothing happened but noise all night . I work for O'Hare n needed sleep before more long hours and didn't receive any sleep due to poor service.wasted my money I should've been given money back or another night .
- 5/5
Modern and clean room. Nice breakfast, including huge oatmeal selection. Only downside is parking (added cost).
- 2/5
Upon check-in I was ticked to find out parking is $32.99 per night. The room rate seemed reasonable for Chicago in January (i.e. off-season) when I booked. But the paid parking is another kicker, because the "free breakfast" isn't really free... It's ORD adjacent, so there are plenty of other hotels in the area. I just wanted to try a Springhill Suites. Will not return.
- 4/5
Overall it was great. The only thing was that the room was super dry…
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, very attentive and helpful. Hotel was also very clean and convenient to get to city!
- 5/5
Stayed here before. Great hotel, nice rooms, clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Leave early.
- 3/5
The room was fine but really cold. We had the heat up to its highest point and sleeping by the windows became an issue many times.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
I want to compliment the front desk staff. I was very surprised and disappointed to be informed of the additional price to park my car until I arrived at check-in. $32/day is a lot to me. I was having a bad day and let the surprise cost frustrate me. I got noticeably upset and was rude to the front desk manager Jodi. I apologized and recomposed myself but the staff did not over react or become flustered. They maintained professional courtesy and I commend their maturity and professionalism.
- 5/5
clean room, excellent staff, close to train station
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
The breakfast
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
We did not use the breakfast option, but the remaining aspects of our stay were excellent.
- 5/5
Clean room and good for 4
- 5/5
Upon our arrival, we found a wet area on one of the beds. Likely something got spilled, like a bottle of water. It had soaked through the linens and into the mattress. Without hesitation, they gave us a new suite. There was ample room for the 6 of us and the staff were helpful and friendly. The only downside was the close proximity to O’hare; lots of planes flying overhead. But not excessively loud and you get used to it. About a 25 minute drive, or 1 hour ride on the L, to the loop. Breakfast was adequate. Waffles on weekends. The whole hotel was clean and well lit. Would recommend this place for larger families.
- 3/5
Room needed walls cleaned near the food area. Splattered food near the table. Expensive parking
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and professional
- 5/5
Nice stuff. Very good location, near to every place we went to visit. Clean, spacious
- 3/5
nice
- 4/5
Good breakfast. Great shower pressure.
- 5/5
Clean
- 1/5
Unclean room, dirty bedding no housekeeping for 2 day stay. No body took trash even when asked
- 5/5
it was a beautiful experience
- 4/5
Breakfast was fresh I would prefer a variety of different breakfast they had eggs and sausages no bacon or anything else. Waffles, oatmeal was not stock didn’t get to try it, the coffee was horrible I have never been dissatisfied with coffee in my life but coffee here was no good.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and in good condition.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 2/5
Staff and parking charges were too expensive compared to other hotels near by. Not good breakfast
- 5/5
They had breakfast and a decent sized pool and also a gym all that was very convenient.
- 5/5
good
- 3/5
Desk staff excellent however room attendants were not top tier had to vacuum own room and take own trash out Breakfast staff excellent as well
- 5/5
Staff is AMAZING! Zsouma, Evelyn and especially the manager Magda have all gone above and beyond to help me! Great people!
- 5/5
Front desk Magda super nice and the other gentleman. Room temperature is cozy. Water pressure is excellent in the Room. Breakfast is great, my favorite waffles and hot breakfast.
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
Breakfast use more variety. The are is ok some places around walkable others a short drive distance . Hotel is great just train passes all day
- 4/5
The check in was easy and fast. The front desk person that checked me in was friendly
- 5/5
Clean rooms, comfy bed, hot breakfast.
- 5/5
Shuttle drivers did well, despite bad weather. Check in desk clerk was pleasant and efficient, despite a huge long line of people that arrived at one time.
- 5/5
Bobby was great
- 1/5
We booked a room near airport for early flight, but were not able to go to sleep because kids from room across the hall played hockey in hallway past 9:30pm, yelling and cheering. Their parents did not seem to care. Neither did they front desk when we called to report the noise.
- 4/5
Clean room. We stayed there 6 months ago and the breakfast was th same for 4 days. Scrambled eggs and sausage everyday. A variety would be nice for the hot foods. Also a waffle maker would be great.
- 5/5
First time at this hotel. Very nice, clean and well kept. Staff very helpful. Will definitely look to return to this hotel if in the area!
- 5/5
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean room.
- 5/5
Definitely worth what we paid to stay here. The breakfast was great, all the staff members we came across were super friendly and helpful, and it was a very clean hotel. Just a heads up, the train is close by and can be loud, but we got used to it eventually. The indoor pool was such a nice touch! The items they have for sale next to the front desk are a bit pricey, so I would recommend bringing your own drinks and snacks. Would absolutely stay here again! Again, the staff were wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES. The room WAS VERY CLEAN AND NICE. IM READY TO GO BACK
- 5/5
Great staff!!
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
Because of no shuttle bus to pickup us at 4:40am morning, we wait for one hour to wait for at the cold weather, and make five phone call to ask for pickup . The shuttle bus following app also show that the shuttle bus did not moving away the hotel.
- 3/5
Rooms could be a little bit cleaner cobwebs in the corners, updated bathtubs they are needing to be re-coated. I am a bath person and love my hot bath however, floating coating pieces coming up in the water wasn’t so nice.
- 3/5
The room was OK. They need to clean a little bit better cobwebs. The bathtub needed to be resurfaced. Every time I wanted to take a hot bath pieces of the white coating would come up in the water so I wasn’t happy about that. I love my bathtub I was looking forward to that, especially on this trip
- 5/5
Everything was nice and taken care of. Got the room last minute and the staff treated me well. Would definitely visit again.
- 5/5
My daughter had forgotten her phone charger at home, and Evelyn offered an unexpected but wonderful solution. She asked if we could borrow a charger, explaining that they don’t sell them at the hotel. My daughter offered to return it in a few hours, but Evelyn insisted, “No, don’t worry about it. You’re staying here for two days—just use it and return it when you check out.” That level of trust and generosity was truly amazing and something we’ve never experienced before. We didn’t even know her, yet she went above and beyond to help us.
- 5/5
The hotel as a whole is clean, comfortable and the staff was excellent. Thank you, I will return again when in the area.
- 5/5
Convenient.
- 5/5
Friendliness
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was nice spacious.
- 5/5
Good location to the airport.
- 5/5
Check-in staff was great. Room was roomy and bed and pillow were very comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything was great! No complaints at all.
- 2/5
The room had not been cleaned properly, I found garbage. When I went to check out the lady at the front desk was very rude when I told her about the garbage.
- 3/5
Room was okay, but the parking payment was unexpected and they did not have the QR Code in the room and had to return to front desk to scan the code.
- 1/5
Staff have insufficient information I booked 2 suites and paid for both rooms but still they charge me for 3 suites.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Prompt airport shuttle a plus, good breakfast,
- 4/5
Room was comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Had to pay to park but very close no need to search for a spot.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, good location with OHare shuttle. Front desk staff were great.
- 1/5
Customer satisfaction doesn’t seem to be a priority here. On weekends, the dining area turns into complete chaos resembling a crowded fish market. There are no available seats, and guests are left standing in corners waiting for vacant tables amid nonstop noise and commotion. The “digital key” system exists only in theory; it never worked, and even the staff couldn’t fix it. The gym is extremely basic and hardly worth mentioning. While the rooms are marketed as suites, the design is awkward and poorly thought out. The bathroom area is congested and inconvenient, and worst of all, the sink is placed outside the bathroom close to bed, which makes no sense. The carpet was frayed and worn, clearly not updated for years. Even the toilet seat had visible scuff marks and indentations from damage. Breakfast was another letdown. The packaged milk served was spoiled, and only after informing staff they realize the entire batch needed replacing. Overall, this hotel fails to deliver on comfort, cleanliness, and service. For the price and brand reputation, the quality was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until a major renovation and management overhaul takes place.
- 5/5
Friendly front desk staff, room was well kept and clean, breakfast was great!
- 4/5
Parking got poor lighting, paying for the parking was expensive. Been a Marriott an expect better parking conditions.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. Bobby the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. AP shuttle was a bit slow.
- 1/5
Bathroom floor was dirty
- 5/5
Excellent experience.
- 4/5
Skip the shuttle and get an Uber. We lost fillings the road was so rough. Staff were welcoming and helped us find a nice place to eat.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff were helpful and friendly
- 5/5
Clean and nice place to stay. Just has paid parking, though.
- 5/5
Nice big room, friendly staff.
- 4/5
Staff were great and so responsive.
- 4/5
Property need an upgrade,
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Pet friendly! Wish there would have been more clean up materials for everyone to use in the potty area. The stay was wonderful overall!
- 5/5
The staff were very attentive and kind. Commentary breakfast was amazing. Very clean and quiet establishment. We had a very relaxing stay, in between our trip to Chicago and Wrigleyville. Thank you!
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Only bad thing about this hotel is that parking is not free even if you pay to stay, it was $30 per day to park as a customer.
- 5/5
It was a nice stay.
- 3/5
The room was freezing. I tried to adjust to no avail, so I just turned the system off. Had to leave early so was not able to experience the breakfast.
- 4/5
Check in and checkout times are different than stated at purchase and door to room paper instructions are also incorrect causing to get locked out of building while loading my car! Parking service difficult to deal with. Have more than one breakfast meat (turkey sausage, yuck). Good otherwise.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Was overcharged by Hotels.com for room than what hotel charged. Also parking fee.
- 5/5
Nice rooms
- 4/5
Hotel will need remodelling soon. I felt parking fees were too high for the location.
- 1/5
The checkin time was 3pm and they didnt let us in till 4pm and they were very rude to us and made us sit for hours to provide with us a room. However they were giving other people their rooms and this is really abd. I stayed fro two days and they didnot even do room service. Moreover, I called them and asked for a blanket and they forgot about it. I came back 14 hours later and saw it was not there and I had to go and get it by myself from the reception.
- 1/5
dirty room
- 4/5
Nice stay.
- 5/5
Thumbs up
- 3/5
The outside itself is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful, it I found that the rooms are outdated and subtly unclean. The old rugs and the old bathrooms gave the appearance of uncleanliness even if it is cleaned regularly. Spacious suite. Good enough for one night’s stay.
- 5/5
The staff, especially Magda and Zulma, were excellent. They helped us when we wanted to check out late. They also helped us with the airport shuttle. They went above and beyond! Great hotel!
- 4/5
The hotel was just a 16 minute ride from ORD. The rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good, though, waffle stations are only available during the weekends. The gym had plenty of equipment and laundry room was convenient. Parking on site is available for a fee, but since I stayed more than 5 nights, they waived the parking fee, which was a delight! The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe the entire time. Front desk employees were polite and helpful. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, if I ever in town in the future!
- 4/5
Bathrooms are very old and outdated, the rugs felt grimy, but it was a very cheap stay, so it’s okay.
- 3/5
Good at all
- 4/5
First of all, if I could give 10/5 for water pressure, I would. Best water pressure I’ve had for a hotel shower. The area wasn’t super convenient for getting to public transportation or downtown. The bathroom felt crammed, and the breakfast was lackluster - I’ve had better free breakfast at a Baymont. That being said, the room was otherwise very comfortable, everything was clean, and the parking was always close to a door.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. They were always willing to answer any questions. The rooms were spacious and clean. Loved the fact there was a shuttle to and from the airport. The free breakfast had a large variety of foods to choose from.
- 4/5
It’s a nice hotel, great staff, well cared, and good breakfast. The parking fee was a surprise - I should had paid attention to it before- it’s $35 per day. I thought I was getting a good deal but considering the daily parking fee…. I’m not sure. In general it’s a good hotel.
- 4/5
Everything was ok, but rooms need to be updated.
- 4/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
Negatives--Some of the furniture in the lobby was dirty. The airport shuttle driver drove like an idiot. It was all I could do to not shout at him to slow down. Just a fool. Positives--Breakfast was enjoyable. They checked me in a couple of hours early, which I really appreciated. The pool was nice. Comfortable bed and nice sitting area in the room.
- 4/5
We stayed one night on a girls trip with a party of 5. The room was a little tight but clean, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the location was good.
- 5/5
Great service!
- 5/5
I had just got out of Lutheran General Jospital following a motorcycle accident and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding. They helped me get around the hotel and offorded me extra time to check out each of my stays. Springhill is top notch…..
- 3/5
Good
- 5/5
We were only staying for a short overnight as we had a flight to Chicago with a next morning flight. (long layover) so we decided to get a motel
- 5/5
Clean room. Comfortable bed. great staff. close to the airport with a Reliable 24/7 shuttle, good breakfast with a lot of variety. Excellent choice.
- 5/5
The free airport shuttle was so convenient and made getting around so much easier! The shower in our room was quite dirty but everything else seemed clean. Overall a good stay, we were in town for a concert and took an extra day to explore the city. About a 35 minute train ride to downtown.
- 3/5
Staff was kind and responsive. However, the property itself feels a little worn and could be renovated a bit. The biggest concern for us though was that we requested a quiet room and location to get rest after a 12 hour international flight. We were recognized as Marriott Bonvoy gold members and supposedly assigned a quiet room. Several hours later we were woken by one if the loudest parties I ever heard going on in a hotel in the several rooms next door. People were actually banging on our door and others down the hallway. I waited an hour for the hotel to address, but we had to eventually call the front desk. Security eventually came and cleared the hallways. Needless to say, it was not a great night’s sleep. We were then informed in the morning that even though it was a week day, that they would be following weekend hours for breakfast because it was Labor Day. This means breakfast started at 7am instead of 6am, which we couldn’t now make because of our morning flight. Breakfast was the main reason we selected this particular Marriott property. These hours and policy should have been more clearly posted. So, not a horrible hotel by any means, but certainly our last stay there.
- 4/5
Didnt like you had to pay to park when stalls are alreafy there
- 4/5
For what you pay for it is not to bad i would come back.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and the property was very clean.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Staff were very nice. Rooms were cleaned. The breakfast was really good lots of food.
- 5/5
It is a hotel that in general everything is very good in every way, I give it a 10 out of 10
- 4/5
I dont like the fact that the rooms are small.
- 5/5
Its a great place and nice place
- 3/5
The beds were mediocre and sheets weren’t deep enough to stay on the bed. (It wasn’t anything crazy, just two toddlers and us) Hair dryer was weak as can be and super old, honestly seemed 90s. Pool was nice and not overly chlorinated, just echoed loudly which is pretty normal for a pool area. Breakfast was good and had a fair amount of options including healthy options. Parking could be a bit better especially since we’re paying extra for it. The AC/heat was extremely outdated as well. Wasn’t digital and the units were just as outdated so it didn’t push out much. We travel a lot and stay at quite a few hotels so overall I’d say probably a 6/10 due to being quite outdated for the pricing. The posting also said the united center is 18 minutes out, wrong try 40. And I get traffic can vary that but each time it wasn’t even close to 18.
- 4/5
The property is a bit outdated. Carpeting in room and AC needs to change. Rust and old fixtures such as tubs and cabinets. Breakfast was great good options and plenty of room to eat. Staff needed to be reminded of towel request after hours of request. Use app communicate needs it works better. Parking options are great and local food options are great.
- 4/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
It was close to the airport and yet very quiet!
- 3/5
Had problems with check in
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5
It is just ok. But the parking is not free and it is expensive parking.
- 4/5
Other than those things everything was great
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! Everything was wonderful, clean, and easy!
- 3/5
Parking fee is expensive and our room smells so bad although they responded to our complaint right away I still don't recommend this place.
- 4/5
We’ve stayed at this property before. It’s convenient to visit family. It’s an older building with a heavily scented odor throughout the building. Staff was cordial but inept. The bottom sheet had a stain on it. We had to go to the front desk three times to get a replacement. “We keep some spares in the back but they aren’t marked what size they are.” First, a hotel room sheet with a stain on it doesn’t help me feel the location is attentive to cleanliness. Second, the fact that the supply at the from desk can’t locate the right size sheet because the sheets aren’t marked doesn’t help me feel they are organized. Finally, I learned that I have to be really careful in the future about checking for parking fees. The fees here were over $30 per night. This should be figured into the nightly stay. You also have to set up your parking through an app, CleanPayMobile. Wait. How careful is the hotel chain about checking for app security? I don’t like apps if I don’t genuinely need them. Far too many apps play fast and loose with my information, either security or selling it or both. Ultimately, they had to have maintenance deliver clean sheets. The rooms are pretty spacious. The coffee maker outlet didn’t work. A very nice breakfast. And a well-kept, regularly checked dog area.
- 5/5
Property needs renovation but staff and cleanliness is very good.
- 5/5
Nice place had a good stay
- 5/5
The hotel was excellent, and in a good location. The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve slept in at a hotel. Breakfast was good. Just be prepared…parking isn’t free as hotels.com says it is. It is over 30 bucks a night.
- 5/5
Thumbs up
- 4/5
Breakfast buffet was really nice plenty to choose from, the beds were ok not amazing but ok, pillows were good again not amazingly supportive, the air conditioner was old school thermostat so could never get it just right in the room which was disappointing. Overall a nice place to stay. Close walk to the blue line. A couple restaurants close walking distance as well.
- 5/5
Check-in staff was kind and helpful. Pool was lots of fun for the kids. Thanks!
- 5/5
Great property
- 4/5
The price was good, and the shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the bed was very comfortable. My internet access was not great, the wifi was spotty and cell signal wasn’t super reliable. The bathrooms had some old fixtures and cracks in the sealant and some tile. The sofa in the suite had tears in the upholstery, but was still comfortable for sitting and watching tv. The fridge, microwave, and bar sink were a huge plus. The lobby area downstairs was immaculate, huge, and comfortable.
- 3/5
Breakfast was very very busy but overall there were decent options. Room was worn down and both beds and the rooms could benefit from a refresh. It was close to O’hare and the shuttle worked great.
- 4/5
Easy check in and out. Good location from airport and e pressway. However, parking limited and costs add’l $33.00 per day.
- 5/5
Excellent location, well kept
- 4/5
It’s a little dated and furniture in our room was torn in places but overall comfortable stay
- 5/5
Good one
- 5/5
Great hotel - loved the stay!
- 5/5
The staff was awesome. The rooms were very clean. Would highly recommend 👌
- 5/5
Loved the airport shuttle and when it arrives. Loved the breakfast buffet and many options to choose from, it is an actual buffet. Staff very nice as well!
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean the staff was very friendly only thing we had a problem with is the parking we not use to paying a t a hotel to park and it wasn’t enough spaces for the guest
- 4/5
The stay was good and the main desk people were very kind and generous. Also had pretty easy access to public transportation which is vital in Chicago!
- 5/5
The gal that chexked us in was the best.
- 5/5
Easy to find a shop and transport.
- 3/5
The room was cold. We could not adjust the thermostat and could not turn the heat on to warm the room just a bit
- 5/5
Very friendly staff!
- 4/5
Check-out time is 11:00 am. I thought it was 12:00 pm because the expedia says the check out time is noon
- 5/5
great place, very clean, easy to get to, front desk staff was wonderful very helpful.
- 1/5
After waiting 30 minutes to be checked in, we arrived at our room. Opened the door and there was someone else’s stuff in a fully occupied. Another 30 minutes later at the front desk to finally check in. On the last day, all of the room key cards for the entire hotel had to be re keyed. Yeah, it took an extra 30 minutes to check out. We also saw another patron given a dirty room. The front desk was quick to blame room service or something else. No apologies were given. The parking lot is shady. Seems to be in a nice hood though. The Amenties were clean and the breakfast was nice. We got clean sheets twice. The towels are a little sus.
- 5/5
Todo excelente! Servicio de shuttle a tiempo, desayuno muy completo, todo muy bien
- 5/5
Room was great-very spacious. Front desk staff friendly and helpful
- 1/5
Property was overbooked and poorly managed.
- 3/5
It was not a bad hotel honestly we had the fire alarm go off within our room due to taking a hot shower which i found odd. Then at 3am the alarm went off again this time real and told us we had to evacuate! I had to wake my entire family up and dog to go outside for 45 minutes!!! this was frustrating and no one from the hotel said a thing to us! I called the front desk asking if it was real? she said yes but when outside only a handful of people came out!!!!
- 3/5
Older property that could use a major renovation but it was ok for one night to catch a flight. It is in a flight path with additional road noise.
- 4/5
This stay gave us the home feel experience.. amenities and food were all great except parking could have covered by management with the hotel fee then would have been pleasure moment
- 5/5
Staff was friends, rooms were cleans.
- 4/5
Breakfast was disgusting. Even my 7 year old son said the eggs taste like cardboard and the toaster for the bagels is CRAP. It was either not warmed through or black.
- 1/5
Rooms are so sorry , they wanted to charge me for My room 100 more than what i paid to Expedia. Never ever again
- 3/5
Hotel ok. Staff great and helpful, hotel charging for parking over $32 per night.
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
Good. Crowded breakfast.
- 3/5
Everything looked clean, front desk was quick and easy but my spouse and I couldn’t stop itching so we check out and slept at our house
- 3/5
So in short i had to give credit card number to two new companies. Now i have to cancel both nrw accounts since im very protective of my information. Prices are up but thats not a surprise but process of check in was more complicated than it should have been.
- 5/5
Great location. Easy walk to several restaurants such as Hooters, Dunkin Donuts, Mac’s diner, Sarapino’s Pizza. Also a supermarket called Mariano’s with a hot bar, soups, salads and much more.
- 4/5
old but nice andclean
- 4/5
Overall our stay was good. The location was between our family here in Chicago. The breakfast was very good. The big negative is the cost of parking was really high and nothing special about it. I would recommend this hotel but expect the extra cost of parking.
