The entire staff were super friendly and professional even at our midnight check-in due to a flight delay. The breakfast crew were also extremely helpful and polite every morning which was a great way to start the day. The rooms were also very big and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Location is very good and staff is very polite, but the price for this hotel with it’s convenience very high. We couldn’t find simple water in rooms and tea. There was only coffee and I think vast majority of people prefer tea, so I believe that it is not difficult to put some packs of tea and electric teapot in the rooms.

One staff member, in particular, was quite unprofessional. While I was serving myself, he abruptly told me to move and forcefully took the serving spoon out of my hand. The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive. He seemed to be more attentive and polite with couples, but noticeably less so with women traveling alone. We didn't go there for breakfast the next day.

Rooms were spacious for a family of four with two teenage boys. Staff was extremely friendly, greeted us every time we walk through the lobby, every time we went to breakfast, they did not miss an opportunity to greet their guests. Overall, very pleased with the value and the experience… We would stay here again every time.

Staff were super helpful! Held our bags before and after checkout since our flights were super early when we arrived and super late the day of checkout. Room was super spacious and clean. Only downside was if you’re looking for the free breakfast, arrive early as it gets super packed and jammed in the breakfast area.

Breakfast was just okay. We didn’t see any bacon or the usual continental items like other places on our first day so we skipped the rest. Staff was nice. Beware of the internet selection: there is a free one and there is high speed that can cost you. Hotel is across from the fire station so you will hear the trucks going off a lot. Not too far from a lot of attractions, around 12-15 min walking.

I was asked if I wanted daily clean linen which I said yes since I was staying 4 nights. Well no clean service was done not even on the third night until I called front desk about it. On Monday morning they finally got to my room but only received clean towels and garbage removal they just did my bed and that’s it the sheets were still the same ones! My toddler had stained them that’s how I noticed they don’t changed the sheets! I was too tired to wait on them Monday night to switch them out! Also breakfast area is too crowded! And very simple one day it was only sausage and waffles no eggs at all.

There are many people in the dining room, and the waiting line is quite long. I couldn't find a seat. Also, the food I got after sitting down became cold.

The room and accommodations as well as the staff were great and helpful. The only thing that I would change is the repetitive breakfast option.

Fannie and Javier are the best. We felt welcomed. They are outstanding and should be recognized. They are assets to any company because they LOVE their job.

Room wasn’t good or bad just ok. Had an issue with the sink. Water would either be freezing cold or burning hot. Fridge also didn’t work had to get it replaced. Breakfast was ok too nothing special.

Room was fine but occupants in room above us were bouncing a ball until nearly 1am. Took 2 phone calls to front desk to resolve. Breakfast situation sucked - went down at 9 (available until 10), room was jammed, virtually no food available, no milk, 6 deep waiting to use the toaster, fruit gone and not being replenished (put baskets away). Not the first time this has happened. Will never choose a rate that includes breakfast again - total ripoff. We left frustrated. Front desk and car valet were friendly, professional and helpful!

Beware this location is across from a Fire Station & can get loud at times. But, the hotel does offer earplugs & supposedly offers White Noise Machines(Can't verify, we did not ask)

From the moment we walked in the front door, anytime we walked past the front desk we were always spoken to. The self parking garage was $60/day and it was a convenient 2 blocks away. The queen studio room had a beautiful view and was a great set up with 2 tvs, one in the main living room and one on the couch side. The male employee that worked the breakfast station went above and beyond with his customer service in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to an event we were attending. I was a bit worried when we saw it was RIGHT ACROSS from a fire station and then we found ear plugs in the night stand! But we didn't have any issues with being woken up by sirens. (And actually if you go on the crime tour bus, you will learn that that fire station is actually the site of the last gallows located in Chicago taken down in 1977.) Anyway, we had a great trip. We appreciated how conveniently located the hotel was to so many walkable attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived on Monday, November 24th, and that night the hotel ran out of water. The problem continued all night and for a good part of the following morning. It was very uncomfortable because I wanted to shower and be comfortable, but it was impossible. I had to buy purified water for basic hygiene and use a shared bathroom on the second floor.

We were there in shoulder season and the hotel rooms were quiet for sleeping. Beds were very comfortable! The free breakfast wasn’t very good but a fast option because nearby restaurants have wait times for breakfast.

Had a great stay while I spent the week in Chicago with my college roomates. Everything was amazing! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the pullout couch left something to be desired. We booked a room with a king bed and a full/queen pullout couch (for 3 adults total). I understand it is a pullout couch, so it wasn't going to be as nice as a regular bed, but I definitely wish I spent the extra $50 (for a 3 night stay) for a 2 double/queen bed room.

Which means you have to drag your suitcases a very long ways to get to the hotel. It shows parking on Google maps, but it's not free and I find it insane how you have to spend 250 per night for hotel and a additional 60 per night. Breakfast was terrible you literally only have 4 options to eat. Eggs Eggs with peppers and meat Oatmeal And cereal and that's it.

The location is great - it really makes the stay worth it. So close to great restaurant and walkable to N. Michigan Ave where all the shopping and stores are. The property itself is meh at best. It’s a little dated and rooms are old. Water pressure is nonexistent. The staff are very kind and friendly. Breakfast is complimentary but don’t have high expectations. It’s good enough to start your day. There was sausage, eggs, toast, bagels, oatmeal and yogurt. Coffee was decent. We paid an exorbitant amount to stay here due to the Chicago marathon but we knew what we were getting ourselves into.

Hotel itself was nice and good price for downtown. Wish i would have known that the self park garage was a couple blocks away. I wouldnt have stayed there for this reason, but I imagine thats a common experience for downtown hotels. I ended up just paying extra for valet, which i would never otherwise do. Otherwise the stay was nice, bed was comfy, room was clean. They even give you earplugs if you dont sleep well with downtown city noises. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall 3 stars solely because of the parking situation. Maybe my misunderstanding...oh well!

This hotel is notttt worth the price. It’s insane what hotels are charging for subpar cleanliness, food, rooms, everything. It would have been just okay for even $50 a night and I paid over $300 a night. Absolutely crazy. Breakfast was gross and unhygienic, the rooms were dusty and nothing to brag home about.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, and it was located in a good location as it was within walking distance to River Walk, and the Mag Mile. Very vibrant restaurant scene. Housekeeping services were good. The king-sized room was a bit small for two adults and one child (there was no pull out couch). No safe or microwave. My wife enjoyed using the gym. Paid parking is in another building one street south of the hotel, and you can either pay for self park or for valet, which is a little more expensive, but it's not far of a walk if you choose self pay. Breakfast was a little lacking in terms of variety compared to other three star hotels we've been to, but Javier and Fanny helped to make up for the shortcomings as they cheerfully greeted us each morning, and they both made us feel welcomed by asking how we were doing, getting to know us a bit, and provided some helpful tips as to what to do in the city. I did not get his name, but there was a young man with very long, dark hair, and a moustache who works at the front desk (generally in the evenings) who provided great customer service, and genuinely seemed to care about the comfort of his guests. Although other front desk staff were nice, he took extra care to ensure our needs were met, took time to answer questions.

Bed wasn’t comfortable- very hard , but yet didn’t seem supportive. Didn’t like the pillows, but I am used to down pillows. Found a clump of very short cut hair on the bathroom floor. Asked for housekeeping every other day. On day 3 late afternoon they came by and gave us some towels. Day 5 they cleaned the room , new towels and bedding. In between days we had to empty the garbage out in a hallway can. ( Our fault for not asking for service every day) Had a suite and loved the extra room. It’s across the street from a firehouse, but sirens didn’t go off at night. Breakfast was quite good-especially for free breakfast! All of the staff were friendly, polite and helpful! Would stay there again

I did encounter a maintenance problem in the bathroom — the faucet was not functioning properly and the sink was clogged, which made it inconvenient to use.

Okay for the most part the room was great except for no microwave in the room, hardly any outlets in the room! In this day and age people have phones and gadgets! The tv was on the small side with limited channels and a guide. A lot of times we would go into the bathroom it would have some kind of sewer smell in it. The complementary breakfast left a lot to be desired for who doesn’t have a waffle maker these days. I get parking is limited in big cities but 74 dollars a night?

Great staff, good location, had a bit of a hiccup where the hotel overbooked our first night, and had to walk us to a less than ideal hotel. They did get us back the next morning which worked out great.

Spotless room, comfortable bed. The highlight for me was breakfast: creamy oatmeal with many options for toppings (sliced almonds, granola, raisins, and my favorites: tiny chocolate chips and blueberry compote). Also yummy scrambled eggs which I had with salsa. The breakfast crew was welcoming and ever cheerful. Loved it!

Overall the location was in a great spot, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. Only issue I had was the sink in the room was slow to drain out and kinda noisy outside at night. I would book again if needed.

This hotel met our expectations. All the city attractions were within a walkable distance. The staff at breakfast was amazing! Shout out to Javier who was so welcoming and friendly :)

Great place to stay while checking out Michigan Ave with the family.

Loved our stay!

Check-in was great. Room was comfy. However had a bad experience with the breakfast. Milk was spoiled. It appeared to be okay based on expiration date, but after pouring into my child's cup - saw clumps and smelled foul odor.

Nice property, good location for visiting downtown

The people in the breakfast room were very nice- Javier and I think maybe Maria. The room was great and check in easy. Great location
