The complimentary cocktail for rooftop bar was only for a nonalcoholic drink, this was not told to us but the front desk was quick to refund us. Very misleading.

Location and staff are excellent. The F&B functions do not meet minimum standards for this class of accommodations. They have made changes to staff, advertising, promotions but the food prep is sub par. The breakfast is especially poor. Few choices, quickly depleted and not refilled and the egg station is flat out bad. The cook cannot even properly cook an egg. Overall, food choices are poor quality and poorly prepared and presented. Art Mai is missing a HUGE opportunity here. Give the location it could be a booming business, could draw outside diners and keep hotel guests on property to eat, just like the new Northern Thai restaurant that just opened up out the front door of Art Mai. Need a professional F&B manager and a professional kitchen staff.

The hotel’s location is excellent – close to many restaurants and massage places, and there is even a market right underneath. The reception staff responded immediately when we reported an issue and sent housekeeping right away. The bed was made daily, towels were replaced regularly, and the room was generally tidied. We also received a complimentary non-alcoholic cocktail at the hotel bar, which was a nice gesture. The water pressure in the shower was very strong and good. When we entered the room, we found a pair of boxer shorts left on top of the wardrobe, which indicates a serious issue with cleaning control. There were also visible dust accumulations behind the bed and food crumbs on the nightstand. Unfortunately, the dirt on the nightstand was not cleaned during our entire stay.

The location and vibe was the best part! We loved that we were walking distance to many things and were close enough for hotel pickup and drop-offs for excursions. The buffet breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed the upstairs bar, a little pricey but expected for a speakeasy. The only thing I did not like was we were unable to do laundry as it was too expensive per kg compared to other places we stayed

The furnishings were basic and not the level I expected for a hotel supposedly of this quality. It also didn’t live up to the hype for me. Nothing I saw or experienced justified the high price. Definitely looks better in the photos.

Location is fantastic, we are a family of 5 and the connecting rooms were great for us - there was enough space for an extra bed. Breakfast is lovely - it's not a huge buffet but every option is very good. The staff was lovely and very helpful nothing really. we had a great stay

We had such a great time while staying at the Art Mai. The location is upscale with lots of shopping and dining. The on-site restaurant Jarid is quite good, too. The hotel and restaurant staff are absolutely lovely and the property is very friendly to all ages and orientations. Our 87 year old mother felt like a queen and was hugged by numerous staff members upon our departure. Highly recommend for a super solid four star hotel. We couldn’t have been happier! The jingle song in the art gallery might drive some crazy, but the art is great!!!!!

Hotel pool is nice but small and limited space to sit around it. The gym is tiny just 2 treads and a handful of free weights but there is a good cheap gym less than 10m walk away.

I think this place is very good all around. Rooms, elevators, restaurant, cleaning, staff, …. small on-site gallery, and fun neighborhood. The rooftop pool bar got the job done but was underwhelming given the rest of the property
