    Breakfast was pretty lame all they had was Froot Loops Frosted Flakes waffle orange juice tasted like water and they apples were not ripethe picture of the room on the website was different size wise versus what I got was much smaller the floor was not swept I had to wipe my feet off before I put my socks on and felt crumbs or sand on my feet in the room smelled very musty the couch was so uncomfortable you couldn't sit on it or could barely get out of it felt like your butt was almost sitting on the floor and your knees are up to your chin was not happy I've stayed other quality inns and this is the worst one I've ever been in. I would never stay there again

    I arrived after 11 PM and had no alternative but to stay one night. The room was in terrible condition: the bedspread had a lot of stains, the sheets looked dirty with hairs and some other stuff, the furniture was old and heavily damaged, the shower curtain was torn, and the bathtub was dirty. Overall, the cleanliness was unacceptable, with stains and marks visible throughout the room. I checked out as early as possible, around 8 AM the next morning. The advertised breakfast was also misleading—there was essentially no breakfast available. Please do not ignore the negative reviews. I chose to give this hotel a chance despite the warnings from other guests, and I regretted it. The reviews are accurate. I originally booked three nights but stayed only one because I could not remain there any longer. The hotel promised a refund for the two unused nights, but more than two weeks later I still have not received it. Every time I call, I am told to speak with the manager, who is never available. Detail: our room was on the third floor, but the elevator’s third-floor button was broken.As you can see in the picture. I cannot recommend this property.

    The biggest issue was safety. The doors to the rooms do not properly lock, and hotel staff actually informed us that one person must remain inside the room if another leaves because some room keys “don’t work.” That alone should tell you everything. To make matters worse, we were given the wrong room key and accidentally entered someone else’s occupied room around 1:00 AM. That is a massive security failure and extremely dangerous for both guests involved. The cleanliness and sanitation were just as bad. The room contained dirty washcloths, stained sheets, and what appeared to be blood stains and other bodily stains left behind. The smell throughout the property was unbearable, especially in the basement area, which smelled like something had died down there. The hallways were filled with suspicious activity and random people roaming around at all hours. There were individuals clearly under the influence, escorts, and other disturbing activity taking place openly around the property. The environment felt unsafe, unsanitary, and unhealthy. No guest should ever be expected to stay in a room where the door cannot properly lock. No hotel operating under proper standards should pass health, sanitation, or safety inspections while allowing conditions like this to continue. DONT STAY HERE!!

    My room was not clean and the beds looked like the bedding had just been thrown up on the beds rather than actually made. There was an old wash cloth in the shower. My friend tried two different rooms with similar cleanliness and the door didn’t lock. DO NOT STAY HERE

    Rooms were clean but clearly dated. Breakfast was waffles only so I don’t think the hotel should claim breakfast. Staff was great. Microwave didn’t work in room but used the one in the lobby without issue. Didn’t use pool so no idea on that. Read reviews about smoke smell but did not experience that. Also no issue with water pressure. It wasn’t the greatest but no issue showering. You get what you pay for. Area was excellent.

    When we first arrived, there was nobody at the front desk. We had to wait around 20 minutes for somebody just to come to the desk and there was nobody in the lobby to help us. I even called the number at the front desk three times while I was standing there waiting, and just listen to the phone ring and ring. Somebody finally came. He was not particularly friendly. The first room he put us in reeked of cigarette smoke, so we had to go to the second room upstairs. While that room did not reek of cigarette smoke, it was in very poor condition with torn draperies, cigarette burn holes in the bedspreads, the drain cover for the tub sitting on the bathroom counter, etc. The room itself showed much wear and tear, and there is obviously absolutely no ownership care here. The breakfast, if you could call it that, was an absolute joke. There were so few selections, which were of poor garbage quality, that we had to eat out every morning, even though we chose this location because it’s supposedly included breakfast. This is one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. Overall filthy, not a safe neighborhood, and noisy with screaming neighbors in the room next-door to us for several hours.

    This property is a health hazard to all who stay here. The first arriving member of our party was given a room where the smoke detector had been removed, mold was all over the bathroom ceiling, semen stains on the floor, torn curtains, the television wasn't mounted, it merely rested against the wall, and the microwave was filthy (see pictures below). Given this is only the mold you can see...I'll leave it up to you as to whether you believe there may be mold you can't see. HOTELS.COM YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR ALLOWING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO BE PLACED IN SUCH FILTH AND THEN DECLARING THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T DESERVE A REFUND WHEN THE HOTEL IS IN SUCH DISREPAIR!

    Once I arrived with my children and we entered the room we found several beer cans under the bed . The room was dirty and hair was inside the bed .     I was giving a non smoking room, I was warned that If i smoke in the room I'll be charged extra, but upon entry cigarette smoke was the first smell, also two very noticeable burn holes in the comforter. Then i had to deal with the toilet not flushing due to the water not running, and i had to kill a roach!! Matter of fact i was being generous giving them 2 🌟

    Booked this room for an overnight stop on a drive down south. I was looking for something cheap with a fitness center. This is not it! The gym is "closed for renovations," so it should be taken off the list of amenities. Room was clean, smell not great but to be expected. Water in shower and sink not so good. Receptionists were very polite and professional. Breakfast is waffles, cereal, and apples. Not great, not terrible.

    I used a gift card to book this stay and am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! This place is a mess, it stinks, the rooms are TERRIBLE! Black mold in bathroom, no lighting in the rooms, I found countless teams from prior guest, the phone did not work, the side doors of the building have no locks anyone can come and go, I felt extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. The staff was the only decent thing in the building, very nice and friendly for check it and as you walk through. But I am very upset I wasted my gift card on this location!! For one night was over $100 and this property is MAYBE worth $59 a night!!!

    Not a pleasant visit as the hotel upon entry was off. The smell of mold or water issue is super strong. Cleanliness was not apart of the hotel at all. The room was not cleaned, food and trash on floor. The door key did not work, no red or green light came on. Front desk changed battery and module and still did not work. No pool, under construction. No full breakfast as listed, just waffle and yogurts.

    The night front desk person was friendly, and check in was smooth. When we reached the room, we were greeted by the smell of smoke. Light switches didn’t seem to work, but we eventually figured them out. Some bulbs were out. One wall lamp was partially hanging out of the wall. Everything seemed clean. My wife said she killed a couple bugs. The bed was comfortable enough. The hotel was quiet. The area was nice, being located far enough south of Richmond and far enough off of I-95. Breakfast was sparse: waffles, 2 types of cereal, yogurt, coffee, milk. There was one apple in the dish, and no hot tea for my wife. Although a pool was pictured on the website, it was empty with yellow barrier tape around. Overall, disappointing. Might do for a quick overnight, but two nights was too much.

    The hotel need to seriously be renovated in the inside. Hotel has horrible sewer smell in it. Hallway and room also has bad odor. Paint job on shower ceiling was coming off with black mold around it. Hotel has potential but, needs to make changes to the hotel for a safe, healthy and comfortable stay.

    For starters we reserved the hotel because it had an indoor pool we were never told it was under construction until we tried to use the pool. There are holes in the walls. The staff who greeted us barely said 5 words to us. The “breakfast” is a joke. Stains all over the couch. We’re told our room was ready but walked in to a house keeper in the room then 10 mins later we heard knocking and a house keeper dropped off a shower curtain. The toilet paper falls apart, the towels are no soft. Left clearly open and used “complimentary” products on our sink. We were in a business king suit. This place needs a lot of work. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

    False advertising!!!! Says has a gym shows pictures of the gym but it is now a casino… pool was out of order under construction… breakfast area pictured having fresh fruit but there was no fruit at all! Only one kind of cereal and waffles. The juice machine did not work… would not recommend staying here.

    The pictures of this place online was totally different from what I got. Was very disappointed. The refrigerator was loud, even after the young man tried to fix it. The breakfast was quite ordinary, only hot item was the do it yourself waffle, no meat or potatoes. As older folks we expected more.

    Great place to stay in Chester. I love the room set-ups, especially their King Bed pull out sofa one. Ample room, clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff here is fantastic. As of writing this, I rebooked two additional nights. For the price and what you get, it’s the one of the best options at this location.

    The rooms were horrible. Burn stains all over the floor and headboard in a non smoking room. Neighbors were fighting next door all night in the room and hallway. Sleeping was impossible. No elevator and my room was on 3rd floor. Side doors did not work with key card so every time you go out to smoke you have to walk down all the steps and tgen back thru the main doors all the to end of hall and back up all the steps that stink of pot smell including the main desk area too. They should definitely lower their rates and waiting deposit on the room is unbelievable. Cheapest in that area was only reason to stay there. Not again because all the baby roaches running around when I was there the place is probably infested with them by now.

    I went by the reviews indicating that the elevator was in working order which it was not! Thankfully I had seen where others had commented that it may or may not have been working and I requested a handicap accessible 1st floor room because I can’t do stairs. The room was not accessible but was on the 1st floor. The property itself looks to be a little run down but appears there are some improvements being made. The breakfast was pretty much waffles and juice. There was cereal but I saw no milk to go with it. Needless to say we had to eat out every morning which was not planned.

    Arrived andthe front desk workers smelled of marijuana, and barely looked up from their laptop to greet us. Was told our room is 304, on the third floor, then immediately told the elevator is broken and the stairs are at the end of the hallway. Stairwell was in complete disarray, as workers are apparently replacing the carpet on every floor, wallpaper is peeling off the walls, hand rails are filthy. Arrived to room on the third floor and the new carpeting was not cut to fit the door, was left a quarter of the way up the bottom of the door, extreme tripping hazard to enter or exit the room. Hallways smelled musty and mildewy, as well as the constant stench of marijuana. The room was disgusting, inspected with UV light, couch and window seat were absolutely disgusting Fluid stains on the walls, mold in bathroom, carpeting was filthy, bug trap was set in the room right next to the bed in plain sight. Had no choice but to stay due to thanksgiving, and the other hotels being booked solid. Found cockroaches on the last night. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL, COMPLETELY FILTHY, COCKROACH INFESTED, MOLD IN BATHROOM.

    It’s clean it’s a little bit dated, but the staff is really helpful. It’s in a decent location close to the freeway gas station across the street. It’s good overall.

    The employees were extremely hospitality, courteous, helpful, and respectful. The TV was having some difficulties and they are prompt and ready to problem solve.The place was quiet, the bed was comfortable and I sleep well.

    My flight was delayed and I couldn’t make it to Richmond. I had to stay overnight in Charlotte. The property refused to give me a refund. I’ve tried to talk to the manager about the manner and I keep being told that the manager is not in. They put me down for a “no call, no show” when it wasn’t my fault and I kept them updated about what was going on.

    . Construction going on with dry wall dust and trash all over. We requested to look at the room, they took us upstairs, we left out. They are not suitable to run a hotel during the construction as the amenities are false and the place just just terrible. The manager was so rude. They charged me the full 1 week but then reimbursed me for 5 nifhts. They charged me full price for one night and i never even checked. Never recommend to anyone.

    Hotel was in renovations which was not disclosed. Room smelled of mildew and had small flies. Front desk was nice and moved us to another room which didn't smell as badly and no flies. Breakfast was extremely limited

    It was a bargain compared to other places- but could have been up front that the fitness center and pool are both closed and unusable. In need of renovations which are underway. Room hadn’t been vacuumed but there weren’t any bugs. Located next to the highway so even with earplugs the noise of engines woke me up a lot.

    Website very misleading, hotel still under construction, not newly renovated. Wall falling apart over window. Elevators smelled like marijuana whole time. Stains on linen. Not impressed at all.

    Very uncleanly and a smelly place. Tried to get the smoke detector fixed and couldn’t get that done. Left for the second night and they wouldn’t give us a refund. Terrible hotel.

    A baby roach was in our bed when we woke up, so we had a threesome, all the furniture was old and broken. Fridge was too loud and tv was not working. Elevator bottoms inside and out were discussing

    This Quality Inn is in poor shape. We had a room facing the road (odd number rooms). We stayed on a Friday night and heard heavy bass music coming from somewhere in the area, Not sure if it was from someone in the building or from a nearby bar but it lasted until after midnight. Our room was on the third floor, wallpaper falling off around elevator and they tried to fix it with globs of silicon around up/down button. Room had soft sheets but squeaky mattress and lumpy pillows, curtains were ripped. For breakfast they had only a waffle maker, apples, yogurt, coffee, OJ, two types of cereal. Small tight bathrooms.

    Overall the hotel was a great stay. It did have the spice and herbs smell to it though. The toilet paper in the room had a brown watermark; which wasn't a biggie because they had a fresh roll in there.

    The hotel was not as shown on the pictures. It was run down and smelled. The furniture was old and had stains on it. The bed was very uncomfortable. Other guest upstairs were loud and sounded as though they were running across the floor all night long. We went out to go to the car and someone had been smoking pot and there was a very strong smell of it upon going out and coming back in. There were people hanging out in the parking lot with loud music at one point. The coffee maker was broken and would not work. Some of the lights in the room would not work and had wires hanging out. Would not stay there again. Very disappointed.
