    It had a full kitchen. The gym was closed due to a car running through the building 2 months ago. Had I known the gym facility was closed I would not have stayed there. I would have definitely stayed somewhere else. Nor was gym closure mentioned in the website. So my $150 a night was not a good value..

    Hotel rooms were dated. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel didn’t have a pool which was kinda not good, since I came into town to visit grandkids. They like coming to the hotel to swim with me.

    Dirty! Room 411 has fishy smell as soon as you enter - not sure whether it's the carpet or AC. Smudges and stains everywhere - on bed side table, headboard, couch, chair, dishwasher, fridge, walls. Bathroom: I doubt they even clean the toilet after every stay - toilet seat had stains and toilet sink was disgusting, and also there are hair strands sticking on bathroom door. Poor repair work on bathroom door. Kitchen: Sticky cabinet doors handles and doors stuck due to moisture, dirty utensils. Understand that the building is old and 4th floor hallway floor creaks, but at least the surfaces we touch and sit/sleep on within the suite must be well maintained. Had a terrible experience. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. We live in hotels once in a while, so spend a little more and have a pleasant experience staying at some place else.

    We were visiting the area for the weekend and thought this hotel would be perfect due to the restaurants and entertainment close by. We were ABSOLUTELY wrong. Room 204 is not suitable for booking. The first night the tv remote would not respond to tv after informing the front desk and two remotes later we were advised to manually change the channel ourselves which was ridiculous. Also the tub was not draining properly so water was pooling at our feet up to our ankles. We literally had to turn the water off let the water drain then turn the water back on, $159 per night and thats how we had to shower. The next day maintenance comes in as we were leaving to “fix” the issues. Upon our return 7 hours later nothing is fixed and the tv is not working at all. So maintenance just played around in our room. Once again no tv and we can’t take a decent shower. I go down to the front desk and supposedly the manager is called and “maintenance” is called again. Around 7:30 pm the issues are fixed. We spent almost the majority of our stay with no tv and a clogged tub. We should have been offered a price adjustment of some sort however all we received was the run around from the staff as well as management. Room 204 is a complete disaster and your company should be ashamed for expecting us to be ok with the conditions of this room.

    Needs upgrades , exercise room was under construction, telephone in the room did not work to reach the front desk, icemaker, barely made ice in time for us to leave. No outlets to charge your cell phones near the bed.

    The cleanliness of the room was disgusting. There was pubic hair in the shower. Debris in the toilet. Mold around the sink rim. Foreign smudge on the light fixture and desk top and side. Desk lamp would flash on/off. Lamp shade had brown stains on the white lamp shade. The elevator was a dark dirty cave. And NO ICE machines?? That was a first. For $15 more I could have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. Which I will be doing from now on. This was possibly the grossest hotel I've ever stayed in. And I travel for work. The bed sheets were clean and the mattress was very comfortable.

    Room was clean and well equipped. Unhappy that there were not enough carts to aid in unpacking and going to the 2nd floor. Also, on checkout day the ONLY elevator was not in operation, and we had to walk down steps with our belongings. My husband is 80yo and I am handicapped. It was extremely unpleasant departure!!!

    Room was not clean proplerly. The bathroom door was disgusting. The dishes definitely need to be ran tbrough the dish washer. Checking in last night the staff was friendly. During check out the elvator went down and it was not fun having to carry down a baby and luggage from the 4th floor. The walk way down the stairs smelled like paint.

    So when you pull up - it looks beautiful on the outside - but the rooms are so dated and need a refresh - we covered the reclining chair with a sheet so we could sit on it (comfortable by the way) because it looked gross - the walls had finger prints - the smoke detector was hanging off the wall - honestly if I hadn’t paid in advance I would have left - this is for sure a motel that people live in

    I had a great experience beyond the rude, inconsiderate treatment from Melinda Wynn & Michelle ( I believe was her name). Everyone else was so nice & friendly ALWAYS eager to help & assist. Because of Melinda I will never stay here again or refer anyone. She’s extremely rude & talk to people any kind of way. I went back & fourth about leaving a review because I love to leave great ones but the experience with her & also Michelle I didn’t care for.

    I cannot say enough about this hotel. Everybody as far as the staff is very polite very warm very welcoming like you’re coming home. The rooms are very clean. Some of the appliances could be updated. The fridge is pretty beat up. But other than that, it’s a great place

    It would be nice if the room could be cleaned periodically. Also trash pickup daily would be nice. I spent 11 nights there without the room being cleaned once. I did put in a request after 7 days but no one came and cleaned.

    Overall, a great experience the staff is very welcoming and very helping, the rooms are not bad. The refrigerator was scratched up pretty good and dented and the dishwasher is falling apart a little bit. But the beds are comfortable the heater/AC works very spacious bathroom it’s clean.     When I initially checked into my hotel room, the bedding was not changed from the previous people that stayed. There were dark brown stain lines on the pillows and sheets. We had to get someone to change the bedding. However, the staff failed to change the stained pillowcases. They proceeded to insist that they had in fact changed them, despite what we could clearly see with our eyes. Further, the room had a mildew smell and was dusty. The air quality was so bad that it inhibited my ability to breathe. I suffer from asthma and my breathing declined significantly to the point where my throat began to close. At 4:20am I notified the front desk of the poor air quality and that staying at the hotel for the remainder of my reservation would jeopardize my health. I had to get another hotel. For days I have been calling this location to speak with the manager. Leaving messages with the front desk people. I have provided the front desk with a statement of my stay. The manager has failed to return my calls. For anyone that has any kind of breathing related health issue, do not stay at this hotel.

    We were booked this hotel for the suite with the bedroom as we were traveling with a 1 year old. We wanted to be able to put him in a separate room so he could go to bed before us. Unfortunately the room wasn't the cleanest and there were several little things about this room that were frustrating. The walls were extremely thin so while trying to put my baby down we could hear our family in the other room even though they were being quiet. The bedroom door didn't close all the way unless you slammed it, which I couldn't do after I finally got my baby down, so we had to leave it cracked which let light in the room. The closet in the bedroom did not close at all and had a hole in the door as of someone punched it. My baby got his fingers caught in the door while walking around since they wouldn't close all the way. It was nice to have the kitchen but the set up was strange with a pendant light hanging so far out you had to duck under it since it wasn't above the counter. The shower drain plug was not attached and went all the way down unless you took it all the way out, and the shower still backed up with it out. There were just so many little things that weren't a huge deal individually but overall just created an annoying experience, especially with a 1 year old. Positives: the bed was pretty comfortable and it had a fridge, microwave and dishwasher which was nice because we brought food. I did not take any of this up with the hotel as we arrived at 11pm and left at 8am.

Then I saw the favorable reviews and thought I would give it another go. I think it would have been an ok stay except I didn't have hot water for the tub so I was not able to shower my two nights there. The water in the sink was hot. I reported the issue and it did not get repaired. So no, I would not be willing to go through that experience again. Also, too many people hang outside for my taste. 3 guys had grabbed some chairs and were sitting under a tree playing Mexican music out of a portable speaker.

    The hotel itself is just OK, but the staff is outstanding! The hotel is a little worn, and not immaculate clean, but the parts the staff can control are great! For instance, there is a very dirty lounge chair in our room, but the bedding, shower, toilet, sink, etc. are very clean. The front desk staff were cheerful, welcoming, friendly and accomodating. The people pleasantly greet you in the hallways. If it's true that love covers a multitude of sin, then good service by hard workers can too. Thanks lovely staff!

Went back to check in and was given key cards for another room. Key cards didn’t work. Back down to check in to get new keys. It wasn’t a good start. On the morning of my 2nd night, I was informed that housekeeping only comes in every 7 days. Back down to the front desk to get a bath towel. No breakfast was inconvenient and unusual in 2024.     Be aware that this property is extended stay and at the time of our stay there were a lot of construction crew staying there. We did not have any disturbance or anything happen but I think women travelers who might be uncomfortable should know this. The room was spacious but needed a little extra cleaning. Front desk staff were super nice.

    I had high expectations, since the last candlewood I stayed at was really nice overall. This was the opposite of what i was expecting. The first room we got put into wasn't bad but the microwave was broken. They moved us to another room but this one was super dirty, microwave was messed up and the heating system was broken. We were soo disappointed.

    My stay with Candlewood Suites was very unpleasant. I was not able to relax or rest for the drive I had ahead. Even though I was able to checkin at 2pm instead of 4pm, they didn’t have the room I paid for nor did they offer a reduction in rate. When I entered my room, the air conditioner had been turned off completely which made it extremely humid in the room. The room also smelled very strongly of fish or seafood. Very nauseating. Because of how tired I was, I used the Lysol and Clorox wipes I always carry to mask the smell. Luckily for me I brought those because the cleanliness was terrible. I believe the only thing that was clean was the bedding and the even then top comforter smelled bad. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and had urine all over the back of the toilet. There was trash under the reclining chair as well, so you could tell the room wasn’t throughly cleaned. On top of all of this, our neighbors beside us had children who screamed and yelled until around 1am. The neighbors above us thumped on the floor all night, waking me up every hour. You’re probably asking why I never complained? Well some folks aren’t confrontational… however I do feel it’s important to write this review and warn those who may consider staying here. I paid $210 for one night. At that price, the experience should have been much better.
