Quality Inn Near Walden Galleria Mall

The things I really liked about this hotel were that it was clean without smelling of industrial fragrance, it was quiet when we were trying to sleep, and it was conveniently located near the highway. I am very sensitive to air fresheners and scented cleaners, and this hotel was comfortably clean and neutral smelling. Not sure if the walls are soundproofed or if it just happened to be a quiet weekend. The king sized bed was a bit soft for us, but it was okay. The coffee had a weird taste. The pool was closed for repairs when we were there, and we didn't eat the breakfast, so I can't comment on those things.

Tea, coffee, and juices are available at any time of day or night. I gave it a rating of 4 out of 5 because the swimming pool was out of order, and the laundry service was also unavailable.

Room was clean and bed was quite comfortable. Appreciate night light in bathroom and choice of ceiling light with or without exhaust fan. A/C unit is acceptably quiet when running. Room lighting at night is excellent.

The rooms were terrible, stains all over the floor, mold on walls the bed was not comfortable at all!!! The breakfast was a Joke hardly anything out. Not happy one bit for as much as I paid!!!!!

The pool and laundry room were closed. The building smelled of marijuanas as soon as you walk in. And there was a used bar of soap with hair on it left in the shower.

At 5 am when I woke to use the bathroom, I turned the light on which spooked the resident cockroaches. 2 went skittering across the sink, to which I smushed one and missed the other. In the morning, when we went to leave, I spoke with a lady at the front desk. Shared about our bug run in to which she explained. "We just had an exterminator come in recently but we were told it could take 2-3 weeks for them to be completely gone..we appreciate your understanding!" 24 hours later, and I am still not understanding. You let us check into a facility that you had treated, but told no one about. When I called back now to clarify my upset (before leaving an honest review), the same woman stated, "how could we warn you about something if we didnt know they were there, if the previous guests didnt tell us?" I reminded her she had mention they had an extreminator there but was told "thats just something we do around areas in general" We stay in MANY hotels and this will definitely not be one we stay at again. **unneeded by us, but the pool was also closed and we were not told when making the reservation. Glad my kids weren't along for this trip.

Breakfast only available till 9 AM and the pool was not open which we were not advised of through Expedia. TV in room was incredibly small and cable worked incredibly slow.

Front desk manager manually entered my card number which I thought was sketchy. Pool wasn't open. Refrigerator made a consistent rattling noise. Bathroom caulk was black. Carpets were stained. They could do better.

The pool was out of order, no one seemed to know why. I expected a little more for the breakfast. the certificate of operations for the elevator expired 1-31-26. there were people standing out side of entry doors smoking pot. that's all you could smell on the second floor. All in all it was one of the worse places I have ever stayed in.

The beds were really hard. There was constant marijuana smell that came into our room door, slamming all night remote did not work to our TV. Could not adjust the heat and there was a picture ripped off the wall did not sleep well at all we were completely exhausted our whole mini vacation breakfast was excellent and staff was excellent.

Staff was friendly and accessible to our needs. The waffle irons for breakfast make for a good free breakfast option with two types of batter every morning. The pool is a hit with the kids and open feom 6am-10pm, offering flexibility in our daily schedule to get the kids pool time.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The lady at check-in was not very customer friendly and seemed bothered to be there. Check-in itself was slow and unhelpful, even though the place was nearly empty. They still stuck me in a room facing the highway, so all I heard all night was traffic noise. The name is misleading — it says “by the mall,” but the mall is actually about three miles away. The carpet in my room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There’s also nothing to do nearby, so once you’re checked in, you’re basically stuck with noise and dirt for company. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, our first room smelled horrible of dog, we were traveling with a 5lb dog ourselves. We asked to be moved. They did accommodate our request, but the rug and sitting chair in the next room was very dirty. They did say the hotel is supposed to be getting a remodel.

Very dated property in need of a serious refresh. We didn't look any further. Contacted Expedia to get a refund and went to a different hotel. The young man at the front desk was very nice and apologetic. I wouldn't recommend.

Do not believe any of the reviews on this site that are positive. Check out the Google reviews before making a reservation. We were in town for parent weekend at UB and to catch a Bills game. Hotels rooms were hard to come by so we ended up here instead of our go to. If we hadn’t been 500 miles from home without another place to stay, I would have left this place upon check in. The room was absolutely filthy. The carpet was stained and probably older than me (I’m 45!!!) the plush chair in the room also stained along with the curtains. The icing on the cake was the cockroach crawling out from behind the bathroom mirror the morning we checked out! Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this place.

The staff at this hotel was amazing. They gave us a great recommendation for where to go for dinner. On our way to our concert at Riverworks. The hotel itself was clean. The room was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will definitely be rebooking when we go back for a concert in November.

We arrived early for check in; around 1:30 pm with a service animal and were told that we could not check in early as there were no rooms ready, which was a lie as the cleaners were getting ready to leave and sitting outside on their phones. The lady working the desk was very nice and did manage to get us in a room by 2:00 pm. We have always stated here due to the proximity to the stadium for the bills games, but unfortunately this might be our last. The room had a horrible smell, the entire place is very run down and not very clean, our duvet had yellow stains all over it.

I literally got refused at the border and couldn’t come to the hotel or go to the concert I paid for *cries* very sad experience, nothing to do with you. Bless.

Staff was uknowledgable. No front desk staff member recognized or thanked my disabled veteran husband for his service even though he was wearing his veteran hat and displayed veteran identification, The only staff member who even said anything was the nice lady working in the breakfast room. We asked about rewards points or veterans discounts when we checked in and the front desk clerk said there was nothing she should could do and seem to be more interested in her social media on her phone. The room was uncomfortabe. We didnt oder a handicapped room because it would not have iincluded a tub and my husband has trouble standing for long periods of time. The bed was so high as people who are 5'6 and under we had difficulty getting in and out. The toilet and chairs in the room where so low to the groud my husband could not use them. He had the use a toilet down the hall by the meeting rooms. Breakfast offered nothing for people with nutrional issues like diabetetics even though your advertisement clearly shows hot breakfast options by diplaying serving trays for eggs and sausage. There wasn't even whiole wheat toast or whole grain cereal options. The pool was overly chlorinated. Definately one the worst Quality Inns properties we have ever stayed in as rewards points members.

We were only in town for one night and basically just needed a place to sleep. This was one of the only affordable options for us but was still a couple hundred dollars. The sheets and bathroom were surprisingly clean considering the carpet and chair looked like a murder occurred in the room at some point. The amount of stains and dna were inconceivable. Do not walk around without shoes. Better yet just don’t stay here. I barely slept.. the bed was like cement. I kept waking up because my body ached. Husband went to check out breakfast.. I do not know why. He said options were subpar.

The dining area was always clean. I would ask that you add instant oatmeal. The room was convenient and clean. There was no bad odor anywhere in the facility.

Despite calling the front desk for housekeeping before 10 am, nothing was done - no bed linen or bath towels replaced. TV is very slow to respond to remote. Very basic breakfast options - no plain eggs. Basic motel with minimum features but the beds were good and the linen was clean.

A bit outdated but clean

Generally clean but gym and pool closes at 10pm. I understand pool time can be limited but gym closing at 10pm is inconvenient. breakfast was ok but no eggs or any other hot food. There was some sandwiches which were in the mini fridge and we have to heat up, it’s not really healthy for kids. I will not be returning here.

Nice place. Everything was very clean, good breakfast options, courteous and helpful staff. Typically Quality Inn stay, reasonably priced with good features.

Comfortable clean

The bed was too hard. But the hotel was clean. I was in from out of town and had car troubles so I checked in at 1am. They wouldn’t extend me a late check out smh.

We stayed here because of the 8 customer rating. I dont know who these customers are but they dont have the same standards of cleanliness as the rest of population. This place is DIRTY. The carpet in the rooms are so stained you dont want to walk from the shower to the bed without socks and shoes on. The chairs in the rooms are so stained we wouldnt even sit in them. There are some questionable tennants that stay there seemingly for extended periods of time. We saw a man almost fully nude walking down the hall to the laundry room, which was fun to explain to our 7 yr old daughter. The keys will work for short periods of time and then you will have to get them redone at the front. We kept them away from our phones but that didnt seem to matter bc they stopped working on multiple occasions. The workers get visibly annoyed if you need to get them fixed. Beds were comfortable and its not a terrible drive to Niagra Falls but thats the only positive i have to say about the place.

Very good

Spacious room with big beds, pet-friendly (with only a small fee), and very pleasant staff. The breakfast could have offered more options, and the carpets seem due for cleaning, but it was a convenient stop on a long drive and afforded us a good night's sleep.

The property is older but clean. The breakfast was minimal (bagels, muffins, yogurt, waffles, cereal).

Our stay was terrific. The rooms were neatly kept.

Decent basic no frills experience that fits the price of this hotel. Breakfast staff will watch you to ensure you don’t take too much food.

My family and I stayed at this Quality Inn during our trip to Niagara Falls, and we were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is conveniently located—about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and just 9 minutes from downtown Buffalo and the Canal Area. While my sister stayed at another Quality Inn closer to the Falls, I can honestly say I'm glad we chose this one. The conditions at this hotel were excellent. The pool was great, breakfast was included, and the staff were truly amazing—friendly, helpful, and professional. The entire property was impeccably clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Usually, when we stay at smaller hotels, it’s just a place to sleep while we explore and dine out with family. But this hotel stood out as one of the best small hotels we've ever stayed in. The comfort, cleanliness, and service were far better than expected. We had an awesome time, and I highly recommend visiting Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and the surrounding areas—and definitely staying at this hotel when you do!

Clean and quiet. Staff very accommodating. The laundry lady was very kind. Will definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was nothing to speak of! A little outdated! Guy at the front desk was awesome tho, even leaving his post to help us with the cable!

Bed was comfortable.. Younger reception woman was good when we checked in (older woman Sat morning, not so much). Dirty. I am an avid hand washer and I was feeling sick by the time I left (after 3 days). Small pool.

Weary nice

My son and I had a great time! He loved the pool, the waffles at breakfast and how close it is to the Bisons stadium! Also the receptionists were very nice!

Comfortable stay.

Manager in duty only gave us 10min after 11am to check out. We literally got kicked out of the hotel. Never happened ever before!!

It's alright, if you're really just looking for a place to sleep for a very short period of time. The staff at the front desk is pleasant.
