Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Buffalo Airport

Checking in was good. Asked staff multiple times if they could get hot coffee and hot water but they never filled them. The bed was not comfortable at all. Breakfast was not ready at the time they said it was and there wasn’t much to get. The Apple juice tasted like water told the lady and she said corp wanted water down to save money, along with not having flavored creamer for coffee.

My stay was a great experience. The room was clean and well maintained. The hot breakfast was great as well as the workout area and pool/hot tub. I would definitely stay at this property again if I have an opportunity in the future.

The breakfast was one of the best complimentary breakfasts I’ve seen! Everything from ready to make waffles. Omelettes and yogurt bar.

I stay at this hotel a lot. The hotel smells amazing, but the beds could be a bit softer and pillows could be more firm not flat. Was told they couldn't put out flavored coffee creamer for breakfast cause corporate told them they couldn't. There was not much for the breakfast and that was very disappointing.

Room is cleanish. Staff is fine. Not overly accommodating or kind. Just business. Stayed at way nicer and friendlier Fairfield Inns.

Most of the rooms don't have a microwave in them, even though Priceline's listing indicates that they do. Very deceptive advertising.

We had a great stay and it’s super convenient when flying in and out of the Buffalo airport.

Airport shuttle was excellent. If the eggs were fresh eggs, why were they So watery and runny?

Yes, the staff is helpful for receiving all the Amazon deliveries before my arrival. The hotel has been renovated, much better when I last visited in July 2024. The only thing I'm disappointed is the Charge point chargers are no longer free of charge. I paid about $100 for 4 nights during my stay. I would suggest them to make it free again.

It was very clean and smelled amazing again. The down was elevator was a little bit sketchy and the mattress was no comfy at all.

Spotless, very quiet, black out curtains. Comfy beds. Free breakfast with the usuals. Not gourmet but free: scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, waffles, juice etc bold coffee! No complaints. Efficient check in. Provided snow scrapers for our car.

When we checked in late night for our first stay, the room had a running toilet that wasn't working (I checked the stopper in the water tank). The young lady at the front desk said maintenance would fix it in the morning. I said that's unacceptable - she should just move us to another room. She said she wasn't "allowed to do that, the hotel was full, and there was no housekeeping available". What? I won't bore you with our back-and-forth, but she eventually called someone and moved us into another room, which was fine and awesome (even though she said she didn't have any free rooms available). This is not a complaint about the hotel, but rather a comment about the business risk the hotel would take by placing a young, inexperienced and perhaps poorly trained receptionist on the front desk by herself. The hotel is great and I would book to stay here again.

At 4:30 am we were started awake by a fire alarm. Of course, this is a terrifying experience when at home, but at a hotel it’s a different kind of nightmare. My husband and I dutifully put our coats over our night clothes and hurried down 5 flights of stairs along with the rest of the bleary eyed residents. Once we found our way to the lobby we discovered an employee in a bit of a panic. Apparently, a man from outside the hotel came in and pulled the fire alarm because he said someone was going to kill him! If this wasn’t bad enough, being Buffalo it was snowing and freezing outside. We were asked to walk across the parking lot to the CourtYardMarriots lobby!! Long story shortened… the fire department took over 20 minutes to arrive and NO ONE could figure out how to properly shut off the alarms. We were exhausted after our trip and from the non sense so we chose to scrape the ice from our car, thaw it out instead of returning to the building. After waiting in the car for a half an hour we were told we could come back inside. Reluctantly we did so. Up the elevator we went and found our way back to the room when…. Whah whah the alarm came back on!! I packed our bags and told my husband I wanted to drive home. Bottom line: the night staff was untrained. Handled the dangerous situation carelessly and did not consider how it affected each of us.

The cleaning crew need to clean underneath the beds because we found a green pill under the bed,the hot tub was ok but I do think it should be cleaned more often with a solution that is very effective on keeping dirt&body fluids out of the hot tub more better.

The hot tub and pool area were great! To be fair on the breakfast area there was a group of school kids there on a trip and they kept us from fully accessing breakfast area. The shower in our room could have been cleaner and water leaked out under the shower door

When we first got to our room, there were VERY, VERY LOUD people, two rooms down. And I mean rude, crude and obnoxious!! We were first concerned that this was a welfare hotel. However, the staff was very apologetic and moved us to the other end of the hotel. Also, they seemed to put an end to the noise, because we never heard a peep again, for our six-day stay. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The room was always clean. Shower was a little slow to respond to temp changes but that was just by design; as the head was on one end of the stall and the control on the other. It was always hot, night or day. Breakfast was good. You could have anything from a yogurt and a banana, to eggs and bacon. Be healthy or not; your choice. Other than the initial shock of noise, I have nothing bad to say about this place!

Decided to choose this hotel because of the location of what we planned to do. Lovely hotel, clean, smelt amazing, good choice for breakfast. Rooms were somewhat clean, our bed sheets had stains as if they hadn’t been washed properly. The pool sitting area also looked like it hasn’t been cleaned properly. Nice experience but wouldn’t choose this hotel again while in Buffalo.

The hotel is a little tricky to find when using the GPS so pay attention! The property itself is well maintained except for a few cosmetic items that would take a moment to fix, torn curtains. We liked the multiple entrances from the parking area. The ramp to bring the luggage in and out is long but go the job done. The breakfast is good. The staff is efficient and made sure the area stayed clean and the food was hot and plentiful. The rooms are large and have everything that a traveler needs including laundry self service and an onsite workout area. Fresh cookies and hydrating lemon water in the afternoon capped the experience.

The pool and hot tub were very nice. Breakfast was great. Many options. Staff were very polite and helpful.

We definitely will stay again if in the area.

It's a Fairfield, good enough but nothing special

Obviously some unsavory things going on at the hotel -3 men looking all over for a missing woman and a man appeared to be running a “business” out of the pool area. We would not stay here again for the reason that those activities were taking place.

Hotel was pleasant, conveniently located, friendly staff, clean. My only complaint is the airport shuttle. The shuttle runs 24/7 but what they don’t advertise is that it’s only once an hour, at least first thing in the morning. I wanted to be at the airport at 6:45am and my only two options were a 5:50am shuttle or a 6:45am shuttle. I ended up taking a cab. The shuttle and cleanliness were my two priorities and they only satisfied one of these.

This was a clean convenient stay, exactly what you should expect out of a Marriott. There is a free EV charger in the parking lot which would 100% bring me back to this hotel. Overall this stay was very nice while you were there but forgetable afterwards which in my opinion couldn't be higher praise for a chain hotel.

It was very good. We stayed here at same location couple years & it was nice but I didn’t realized it had since been remodeled & it’s even better. The only problem we had was that the phone outlets were only on one side of the bed instead of both sides. Also the bedside clock turned off when the lights goes out. So the time was not shown unless the bedside light was on.

The location was great for an early flight. But the pillows were so awful! They were so bad I would not stay in a Fairfield again.

I stayed here to celebrate my niece's graduation from UB. It was close to everything and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was amazing.

There were men’s underwear in the trash can in my room. Lobby had some annoying drunk and rowdy guests in the evening time. Otherwise hotel was good.

I got a room because my husband was in the hospital. It was easy, convenient and the place was clean.

We had transportation pick up for 5:30 we and 2 other family’s were running late bc person was sleeping on the job … front desk was now where to be found at that time of morning in the back doing what sleeping !!!! We were walking around 1/2 hr looking and banging on doors to find someone also we asked for a wake call that was giving NEED NEW OVER NIGHTER TI WORK and be present during stiffed

The hotel is incredibly well kept, modern and fresh feeling. All areas feel very clean and the rooms are very spacious and well laid out with many nice details such as the countertops in the bathroom. I have not heard any sounds from neighbours and I’m very sensitive. It is located in a plaza with a couple other hotels snd some fast food options such as Starbucks and McDonald’s. It is very safe to walk around. Extremely close to the airport; you can see it across the street but hear no sounds in your room. No signs of bugs, which is my worst fear! The beds are extremely comfortable. Even if the hotel itself wasn’t great, I would still write a review for all the staff we interacted with. 5 star service which is hard to come by especially consistently. A bonus to note, free on-site parking, and the best bonus for me (lol) is not just a free continental breakfast but also hot food options such as eggs and meat (varies on the day). There’s something for everyone even if it’s a little something. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for having us! 😊

This hotel is under construction, which begins promptly at 8AM, much to the detriment of any guest who wants to sleep in. As of March 2025, only one elevator is operational and there is significant construction debris in the corridor near the lobby elevators. This is information that might have been useful prior to booking.
