Buffalo Airport Hotel

Good for stay if anyone wants to fly as its near to the airport nd provides free shuttle service too

We come to buffalo once a year. I have stayed at this property before and it was fine...but this time I reserved 2 rooms...the keys for the 2nd room did not work. We had to take the keys down 3 times before we got a key to work. We ran into other patrons of the hotel that had similar experience with their keys. In the middle of the night, someone pounded on our door and somehow had a key to enter the room. Luckily i had the lock bar on the door. And a car in parking lot outside our window was honking horn for about 25 mins around 5am.

The hotel was refurbished a couple yrs ago but is quickly becoming tired. Also, the door locks were a problem, had to get the card re-imaged several times during the visit. Beds are well worn, very soft and bouncy but hotel was quiet. The beautiful outdoor area in the middle of the property is nice but also needs some love.

No reason to pay for extended stay to be unable to use it.

Decent for overnight stay

Not very clean, bldg is old and needs refreshing. Dirt in every corner of the room.

Found 2 dead cockroaches, one in our room & one outside the door. Otherwise, all surfaces seemed clean & the towels & bed were clean.

Services was good but the room need a little work. The pillow case and blanket need better wash and there was an wet floor not care of for 2hrs later.

Spacious and clean rooms- several people could do yoga in the room! Perfect to stretch before or after a very long flight. Comfortable beds, friendly staff.

Our stay was a good one...our key cards had to be reset daily, which was a bit of a nuisance, but overall we enjoyed our stay. For the cleaning staff I would say please check the sheets, beds and walls with each room clean-up. We had some stained sheets, one bed's sheets didn't fit well, and there were odd stains on the bedframes and the walls that could have been easily wiped down before new guests came in. Front desk staff was always super nice and helpful. See ya next time!

Overall good stay

Unfortunately the air conditioning at the room eas not working in the middle of the summer. There was no maintenance personnel available. And staff was very inconvenient at time of handling a situation. Had to leave 30 minutes after checking in. When everything is good front desk is great as soon as something goes bad they are not trained on how to de escalate a situation instead got defensive due to lack of knowledge. Glad I have a refund after a day having to call reservations. Because they couldn't offer a cancelation at the front desk. Had to drive 60+ minutes to a hotel the same night.. NOT RECOMMENDED

It's close to the airport,

The building is dated, the fridge didn’t work that well, but very clean, well maintained property. Value for money.

Very convenient to airport with shuttle service. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Large rooms, a little dated, but comfortable bed. Refrigerator, microwave and keurig in room. My AC never cooled room below 75, but I was only there one night. (The front desk said they would get maintenance on it as soon as possible.) Two restaurants conveniently located to property. Suited us well for a one night stay with easy airport access.

Honestly I stayed here based on others reports and I have nothing bad to report all are positives for the price and location.

This is a great spot to stay when travelling from Buffalo. Great rates and the room was clean.

Very nice staff. They were friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely care. Shuttle was incredibly efficient. The hotel itself was so bad. Smelled, dirty, loud with people coming and going at all hours. Stayed there in a pinch and wouldn’t do again.

Rooms at the airport hotel will be clean and net the location was perfect because they were restaurants in the area.

Ideal for an overnight stay. The property is decent but a little run down. Could benefit from a spruce up.

Love the artwork, overall good environment, unfortunately my room was next to the service/supply room. Workers were very loud when talking, not mindful of the guests guests who weren't checking out. I wasn't able to get much rest.

I was very optimistic about staying here just for the 2 nights but once we went into our room which was decent and found a very LARGE dead spider in the toilet, I was on edge all weekend. I was consistently looking all around the room. I guess looking for a cheaper room, I found it. Probably won’t stay here again.

When we arrived to the hotel there was a small smell of propane. The room was around 80 degrees. We managed to turn it down to around 60 and it finally got cool after we went to dinner. My other family members in a different room however had no AC the whole night and were sweating. I think our room was cleaned right before we got there and bc the room was so hot it was super humid and the floors were wet. Additionally our tub leaked extensively. The staff was all very very friendly and the parking for the airport and shuttle is incredibly useful and excellent.

before going out to explore Buffalo--a really wonderful city--on the second day of our stay we requested fresh towels and reserved a time for the airport shuttle fore the next morning. When we came back about 4 the towels had not come. This morning we boarded the shuttle to and our names were not on the list.

We arrived on a late flight and stayed here so we could get our rental car the next morning. I didn’t notice until the next morning that the floor in our room was in dire need of cleaning. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

Did not like not knowing until I arrived that the hotel rooms I reserved more than 6 months ago were NOT available. No phone call or email for advance warning of the situation

Everything was great. It’d be a complete 5 star if it had included breakfast, but it is exactly as advertised so can’t complain about that.

From the outside, it’s not overly impressive but decent. Rooms were very clean and updated, Fergus got us an early check-in, which was really helpful for our trip. Overall, we give this a five star rating for staff friendliness as well as overall hotel experience.

Gotta say, if you're heading out of town in the morning from Buffalo Niagara, you could (and can) do a lot worse than BAH! Place was great for the night and had a killer sports bar attached for dinner. I would give it five stars but the A/C in my room wasn't working and it was unseasonably warm in Buffalo that evening, but otherwise I have no complaints. Staff were awesome across the board, shuttle to the airport was smooth and even left a little early for me (i was the only passenger).

Easy to get to the airport very early in the morning

No bar, parking lot was spotty, restaurant was bad and we walked out, the rooms and building are at about a Motel6 level. But it was inexpensive comparatively and nearby.

We stayed there prior to leave for our flight early the next morning. Very convenient and staff was helpful. They have shuttle that takes you to the airport and we were able to leave our car parked at the hotel.

Looking for a cheap overnighter before leaving on a trip the next day, then this might suit. Don’t expect anything special, the property needs some TLC. If you can see past the dirt, then you’ll do fine. Otherwise pay a bit more for something better.

Smelly room especially when let guests smoke in the garden within the hotel. We smell cigarette and pot at night. No breakfast, at least a fruit basket for the price we paid.

Having said that, the front desk, cleaning staff and maintenance were very good.

Lights didn’t work in the room. The room had a strong cigarette smell and even to the bedsheets. Bath tub didn’t look clean to even take a shower.

Nice stay at the Hotel Buffalo. Don't let the outside fool you, this place was super clean, safe and everything worked to perfection. Rooms were spotless and had everything you need. Gym was fine, free coffee 24/7, free Wi-Fi and parking. The Wingnutz restaurant was fantastic! Super happy with our stay.

This hotel is clean and it’s stuff are kindness and efficient

Bedsheets didn’t fit, came off every 30 minutes while sleeping. Drunk man asleep on the floor in the hallway, taking up the whole hallway and needed to be stepped over. Harassed by another drunk man while entering my room. Keys needed to be redone twice no matter how careful we were not to put them near our electronics. Vending machines weren’t working properly. Very loud BBQs under our window in the parking lot every night until dark. Sound proof rooms were something mentioned on the listing but you can hear absolutely everything through the walls from every direction. Shower made extremely loud screeching noise when the warm water ran and there were bars to hold onto placed uncomfortably in the shower so it was hard to shower comfortably. Bathroom was very small and did not look like the photos.

The beds were SO comfy! I will stay here again 10/10!!

I mistakenly gave this place a good review on a stay from last week. The staff was friendly however the other people staying at the hotel were loud and rude. Slamming doors after 11 pm and talking loudly as if they were the only people there. Staff was friendly but the hotel itself was desperately in need of updating. Comfy beds, clean sheets and towels. but the heat in our room didn't work. Our room was the only room in the stairwell, right beside an exit door and separated from the other rooms - i was a bit worried about the location at first but it was quiet - which was important to us. Good value for the price we paid.

My experience was a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Clean with an exceptionally friendly and responsive staff. If you’re into sports bars, the hotel restaurant is huge and it was packed out. We had a couple of drinks but did not eat there but everything looked good. The only downsides were that the hallways were loud at night. Not their fault, just how people are nowadays. I was awakened several times in the night by people talking loudly walking to their room, kids running, etc. Could happen anywhere. Room is a little dark. Shower made a shrill noise, but well-apportioned with microwave, fridge and coffee maker, body wash, lotion, shampoo. Nice stay. Convenient to many locations.

On the side entrance doors, cigarettes should be cleaned on a daily basis.. Cover blankets should be inspected monthly to remove stained ones within the room.

It’s my go to place when I come out to Buffalo. Clean, comfortable and affordably priced.

We showered in the morning and there was no blow drier in the room. Called the fr9nt desk and got an answer this time. Was told that there should have been a blow drier in the room, but they would have one brought to us. After waiting for nearly a half an hour, my wife went to the desk to inquire when one might arrive. The clerk told her they gad searched the desk area and there wasnt one there. He said he went to a room, however and took a photo of how there should have been one on the wall and showed it to her. My wife assured him that one was NOT on our room wall. Clerk said he would then check "the managers area" and see if he could get one. He returned to tell her that he could not find one and would not be able to get my wife a dryer, but her "hair looked fine."

Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Room was clean and had all I needed to sleep and shower as I was there only about 10 hours. However, the hallways desperately needed to be vacuumed and I could hear people just hanging out in the hall talking at 10pm and someone stomping around above me at 4am.

It was noisy due to other people arguing during the night. It was a great location and they offered a shuttle to the airport!! The restaurant was great.

After reviewing expedia and google reviews, which were positive overall, a group of friends decided to book rooms here for a weekend away. We fell for the reasonable room rate and the fore mentioned positive reviews. I have no idea who is giving this place an 8?!?! After an inital room change because of conditions, there were still multiple complaints including cigarette and weed smoking that traveled through the hallways and rooms even! Apparently it was renovated in 2021, but is showing some serious wear and tear..If it weren't for the realtively friendly but mostly non english speaking room staff and Wingnutz next door, there would be nothing to hold this hotel up. I cant believe they still operate like this. I hate to say it but spend the extra money and find something clean, respectable and maybe even a breakfast! We won't fall for the rate again!

The hotel is very large and the parking lot is very busy because it is also for a restaurant and for leaving vehicles for an airplane trip. Finding a space is a challenge. The room was very well maintained and functional. The sheets and quit were fine. The people at the desk were helpful. They have a map of the place available and I needed it. The lack of breakfast, both free and pay, means that I bought what I needed at a supermarket and I suppose Uber Eats is a solution. I would stay again. The price was fair and cancellation policy had no tricks. And there is no resort charge. We were traveling on Amtrak at Depew station, which is farther than the airport and the hotel shuttle doesn't include the Amtrak station. But the train station has plenty of free parking so we parked there and went on our train trip.

We upgraded to the jacuzzi suite and it was overpriced for the room. There were dirty towels under the bathroom sink and wasn’t very clean. There was no trash can in our room whatsoever. The restaurant attached to the hotel was not good either.

The overall stay was good. Checked out and realized when we got home later the same day, that some items were left in the room. We went shopping at the outlet mall and left 2 pair of sneakers and a hoodie in the room. Called the hotel and they said they checked the lost and found and nothing was there. They said that they would check with housekeeping to see if anything was left in the room and they would call me back. When we left, housekeeping was cleaning the room across the hall now our items are missing and nowhere to be found. In addition, we were awoken at 5am to loud noised outside that sounded like gunshots. Not sure if they were or not, but it happened 5-6 times. I can get past the noise, but I am upset about my items that miraculously disappeared.

Don't let the exterior fool you. This hotel is going through a transformation. The room we were in was newly refurbished.The staff was incredibly helpful. We will be back.

Shuttle was prompt when called

My room was a little dirty when I arrived. I went to turn on the lamp and something sparked and popped. The cord from the light fell from the bottom and a live wire was left there. I called the front desk to have someone come up to take care of the cord. The guy they sent was very nice and took care of it for me but I was a little nervous that it was a fire hazard for the remainder of my stay.

The bathroom sink was clogged and I pulled out so much hair and gunk. When someone came by to plunge it, they left a mess for me to clean up. Manager was pleasant to work with, however.

Guests are not very courteous after hours yelling and slamming doors after hours. Sadly no staff controls this making the stay uncomfortable if you need to wake up early.

The room wasnt even cleaned when i checked in , garbage on the night table ,wet towels were still laying on the floor in the bathroom . One of the beds looked like someone slept in it .

Everything was great except for the temperature in rooms. The floors are extremely cold and the thermostat wouldn’t go higher than 73F but felt much colder . got very called at night. The parking is super easy and convenient. They let us park two cars with no charge.

Room was perfect for our one night stay. Beds were very comfortable. However, I found it odd that the area of the room where the beds are had no light fixture in the ceiling. Had to use a lamp to light the room, which made it super dark. The bathroom could have used a new toilet seat as well. Other than that, it did the job. Would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was fantastic. We stayed on the first floor so there was a lot of people coming and going all throughout the night, if we stay again we'll stay on a higher floor.

My daughter in law got there six hours before me and they let her check in... Even before the 3 o'clock check in time which was greatly appreciated. The free shuttle picked her up. She felt very safe and secure. When I arrived self parking was easy. I'm grateful they allowed her to check in as when I pulled in there was a bus unloading. The hotel is much nicer than I was expecting for the price. The courtyard is beautiful. The bar menu had plenty of basics to choose from... Nothing fancy. Reasonably priced. The wait staff was wonderful. I would definitely book this hotel again. King size bed was comfy.

I was only there for a few hours and literally needed a place to sleep and shower before my 6am flight home. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when my room key did not work. Its location is convenient for travel out of Buffalo Airport. I was able to fill up with gas at the gas station next door, and return my rental car in less than 10 minutes. Room was clean, but there are smudges on the door and mattress left indentation when you sat on it. For a quick stay, I’d consider it again. It’s a good value for budget conscious travelers.

The staff here was so very helpful and professional! We booked this hotel out of convenience for travel out of the Buffalo Airport and it was superb! They let me park my car in their very secure site for a very affordable price, they shuttled me there and back without any wait times and they were so helpful and mindful of the stress that can come along with travel. Both shuttle drivers were so helpful, friendly and professional!! I would definitely book here again for our Buffalo Airport travel. Great job!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you do not want to deal with BED BUGS! THE HOTEL IS FULLY AWARE OF THIS INFESTATION! I called the hotel a day after I checked out to let them know I had itchy bites all over my body. They told me they were aware about the problem but that my room had “ just been serviced “ so they don’t know what happened there. I should have checked this hotels reviews before I decided to book this hotel because it would have saved me from sleeping with bed bugs and getting bites all over my body! I never experienced a hotel with bed bugs before this was a very sad lesson well learned! Always check reviews on the hotel and the beds before lying down and going to sleep!!! Be safe!

Room was dirty. Floor has stains and needed to wear shoes inside. Previous guests had a party in the room. The remnants of the popped balloons and streamers were still there. The room had a mildew smell. Overall felt it was not clean.

The location of the hotel and the fact there was a convenient free shuttle to the airport was very helpful. The rooms were fine, clean, albeit older. I had a lamp spark and blow the power in the room so I sat in the dark for 30 min until they could fix. The hotel is fine for a one or two night stay.

Any problem we had was handled immediately and professionally . The best thing about the hotel is its location. I left the hotel at 430am. I dropped of my rental , went through TSA and grabbed a coffee, I was at my gate by 515am. Thats the beauty of this property. It's not fancy, the beds are sort of comfortable. If you dont want to a lot of money and you want a hotel that has a great location, this place is for you. Charlie the Butcher is only a mile away for a roast beef on weck.

Airport shuttle was great. Room lighting and lamps were terrible. Bathroom had two conditioner dispensers and no shampoo. Had late night activities, maids in the hallways in the mornings were extremely noisy (letting room doors slam closed). I requested a late checkout at the front desk and still got a knock on the door the next morning. Weak courtesy coffee.

This hotel needs to put more emphasis on cleanliness, floors are hardwood and they are very dirty, just doesn't have a real clean feel.

Our room looked clean until the natural light came in, the bed itself was clean but we found cigarette butts under the bed and there were areas with thick dust. We paid a lot to stay here and don’t feel it was worth the price paid.

It was ok for the price

The blind in our room was broken we called immediately when we got in the room Friday night and no one ever came to fix it. We spent the whole weekend being unable to open the blinds. The room had hair all over the bathroom, and no hand soap at all. The housekeeping staff had there carts taking up the entirety of the hall making it difficult to get through without having dirty and brooms in your face.

Our favorite hotel in Buffalo to stay at. It’s a great location, the connected restaurant is great as well. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was kind. Only down fall was the morning we were checking out, we were woken by cleaning staff talking very loudly outside our room (which was near the laundry room). Next time we’ll ask for a room further from there but everything else was great.

I had the check out time set for 11am and they came banging on the door at 8am said they tried to call but the phone in the room looked completely smashed in. Front staff was great but the dude that was with housekeeping was rude and unprofessional.

Great outdoor space with fire pits and seating. So much quieter than I imagined being so close to the airport. No frills, basic room, but comfortable bed and pillows and very clean! Front desk staff was exceptionally kind, especially when I got lost in the long hallways and embarrassingly needed directions to the front desk at 5am. Would highly recommend if needed for a night before an early morning flight. Shuttle was quick and easy.

I was disappointed from the moment I walked in the room. The floors were not swept, the bed sheets had obviously not been all changed, and I opened the refrigerator to find containers of food left from the last guest. I was never offered any kind of compensation for having to to stay in a room like that.

Room was not clean there was food and dirt all over the floor. The old hotel next door is now a housing facility for welfare recipients. It was not a comfortable situation. We were supposed to satay 4 nights and checked out after one night. The manager was very nice and reimbursed us. All I can say is be aware of your surroundings if staying there.

The room unfortunately was not clean. There were back hairs on the floor near the edges and I'm a blonde. I had to move the nightstand and there was trash under it , not mine. The bathtub needed a good scrubbing with Comet and the AC was very loud . The courtyard was nice .The fire pits a nice touch and most of the staff was friendly and helpful

It's a budget motel so you get what you pay for. It worked for the purpose of this trip, one night each way and thw shuttle. Food at Olympic was great.

The first room I was checked into had a stain along the side of the bed. I asked to be moved. The second room was ok, but the bathtub needed a more thorough cleaning. Staff was nice and accommodating. It felt like I had to walk a mile to get to my room. Then no signs pointing to the lobby.

He got the maintenance guy and he hip checked the door very hard to fet it open and said there you go and walked away. The door was next to impossible to open any time we left the room. Not a bad place. I arrive in Buffalo too tired to drive the 2 hours home. Was able to book this hotel last minute for a good night sleep. My room was next to the entrance door so I heard some hall way traffic until things settled down.

Stayed 2 nights. Check in was quick n efficient. Had parking near room as was kinda far from front entrance. Room was clean and inviting. Great Hot water n pressure. Beautiful center courtyard with propane firepits. Nice lil Bar/Restaurant on premises. Highly recommend

Although the rooms were renovated since the last time I was there it still lacks some basic features such as a mirror in the bedroom, sheers on the window (if you open the shade everyone walking by can see you) and the door needs to be fixed. It would not close without slamming it. Those are just a few things I found unpleasant. Will I ever return… probably not.

Cold Water: The water in the bathroom was consistently cold, making it impossible to take a proper shower. 3. Noise Issues: The walls were extremely thin, and I could hear every sound from the adjoining rooms. This made it very difficult to rest. 4. Inappropriate Behavior: To make matters worse, there was a man running around naked in the hotel, which was completely inappropriate and unacceptable in a professional hospitality environment.

I am no longer skeptical, i would rather stay at the Buffalo Airport Hotel over the Hilton brand hotels. The courtyard is beautiful, the property is well maintained, but the best overall experience was with the staff, the staff is great from housekeeping to front desk. I give Buffalo Airport Hotel 2 thumbs up and will defintelty be staying there my next time in Buffalo. Also a special thanks to Deb at front desk. I left an entire drawer of clothing in one of the drawers after i checked out. Deb gathered my clothing and shipped them to me via UPS to my home in Texas. I just love the Buffalo Airport Hotel!
