This place was ok.... smelled a little funny and there are signs everywhere that say no smoking but we walked into the HOT room and it smelled like cigarettes. It got better once we turned the AC on. Boogers on the wall no hand soap and stains on the bed. Alot could have been better but it also could've been alot worse.

Very worn down hotel. Carpets were dirty, furniture worn out, breakfast wasn't edible, & pillows were half the size of regular pillows. The area was very sketchy, people yelling through the night, getting into fights. The worst thing was they ran my card 4 times for over $700 which put us over our limit.

Check in was easy. Room had a smell initially that cleared after the ac ran for a bit. The chair leg was broke and taped together. Water damage in shower but that water pressure was fantastic. The little soaps smelled good and left hair soft. The beds were okay the pillows were extremely soft. The breakfast was okay. Coulda used some biscuits and gravy, but the pancakes and sausage were tasty. Coffee was the epitome of dirty bean water. It severed it purpose and gave us somewhere to sleep on our journey.

Overall it was very nice stay at the hotel..very thick towels and spacious room. Also big TV and good selection of channels. Just need a exhaust vent in the bathrooms and adjust for moisture cause the bathroom door was drag on the floor as you open it.

Room was clean, breakfast was o.k. but desk staff was a little rude, homeless people were trying to flag us down on several occasions.

Location downtown I was given a that someone was staying in. I used the room key I was given to open the door and saw someone in the bed… And on my way back to the desk I heard a woman making a log of noises. Walls are pretty thin it seems.

Wingate by Wyndham will always be my go to when I'm traveling. I've always had excellent experiences, from mistakenly leaving my thermos that was safely kept until I retrieved it ,to my request always being honored. Wingate by Wyndham is the BEST!!!!! N/A

Easy access off of the highway. The lady working the front desk that night was nice. The hotel was very dated overall. Markings all over the walls in our room and peeling paint in the bathroom. People running down the halls and very thin walls. At one point it sounded like someone was repeatedly sliding things under our door and we could never figure out what the sound was. It was uncomfortable to say the least as it was 2 women and a child traveling together. I was not comfortable enough that I would ever stay again honestly.

Clean but dated. We booked a suite with a pull out sofa bed as all the 2 bed rooms were taken. There were no linens in the room for the pull out bed. The fitness area had a couple pieces of exercise equipment. Breakfast was decent. For us it was a good price and we would not be in the room much except to sleep. The bed was very comfortable.The staff was friendly.

Area was a little sketchy, homeless problems in the past. Owner went out of his way to let us know the site was secure. Let us park our car under cameras to insure our bikes were not stolen. Easy on off I75. Fast food near by.

The Wingate at Chattanooga is a value hotel stay. My husband and I stayed there 1 night on the way back home. It had all we needed, comfortable beds, complementary breakfast and free parking. Breakfast consisted of sausage, links and patties, scrambled eggs, package oatmeal, prepacked muffins, bagels and pancake maker. The towels were very nice and had some quality to them, which was a pleasant surprise. The pillows were not standard size (very small) which is fine, but maybe add more for a king size bed. I do read reviews and one thing I look for is the location. This was in a good location, right off the highway. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking in the back of the hotel but I felt safe. Not anything I disliked about our stay.

I came from Louisiana to visit my sister who is dying with cancer. I did not want to impose on the already horrible situation they are dealing with. I stayed in this motel which is close to their home. They live on Cannondale Loop. I felt really safe as no one can get into the place without a key card. I was very pleased with this motel & would definitely stay here again.

The room was great and the staff was fantastic and so friendly, particularly the front desk agent. I wish I could remember her name. We’d love to come back and spend more time in Chattanooga and will choose this hotel for sure!!

Solo trip to Florida and needed an overnight half way. Located near tons of shopping and restaurants. Was clean and comfortable for the night. Front desk worker was kind and efficient as I was tired and ready for bed. Breakfast was small, but would stay again if in the area.

The baseboards were dirty, there was mildew around the picture that hung above the bed, and there were bed bugs. I will never stay at this hotel again. Completely put a damper on our plans.

The E check-in was ridiculous because if you refused to put a picture of your drivers license on at the bottom then absolutely nothing else you would fill in, so the entire process was worthless and didn’t come up as I had a reservation at all. I took a lot of time to do it and feel it’s risky to have a picture of my drivers license put out there!

The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, our first night we woke up several times through the night due to loud toilet flushes we could hear above us or adjacent to us and some clanking sounds. Also, the window is either single pane or not sealed well because we could hear traffic in the night. The hotel is set further back from the street, so this shouldn't have been a problem. Our second night was quiet. The location was great. Near the interstate. Near many, many dining and shopping options. Overall, this was a good stay and we'd consider it for our next visit.

The staff were nice and helpful. The property was dated and dirty. I realize they are working on updating, but keeping it clean should be a priority. The area around felt unsafe. The hotel is tucked back off the road and surrounded by the backside of a strip mall, restaurants, and what appeared to be either an old rundown motel or office building. Homeless people were walking around the parking lot or the nearby fence staring at you as you get out of your car. I go to Chattanooga every year, but this year was horrible. Construction everywhere, noise all night from the interstate construction. Would not stay here again.

Room needs to be updated

The room walls are nasty, stuck boogers or whatever next to the bed. Markings everywhere. Spider webs on the ceiling and spider crawling ceiling. Check in was okay with a service dog but put us at the end of the hall with all the noise in and out next to a stairwell for a migraine disability. Breakfast was limited for buffet. I would not stay here again. Poor water pressure and door was swollen from water damage. And shower curtain holder was broken. Door handle only lifted up to open so half broken and annoying to get into room with kids and service dog and luggage.

I am normally a Wingate fan but this hotel was disappointing.

The TV didn't work, no one on staff to replace it. Window AC never got cold. Security for room doors seem weak and easy to get around. Cleanliness can only go so far with an older hotel.

Enjoyed my stay at the Wingate. I only had one day where I spoke to one of the front desk staff members saying hello and they didn’t speak back. Must have been having a bad day. Regardless my stay was enjoyable. I would stay again.

Overall the hotel was fine, clean and decent. The only major issue was that the AC was extremely loud, and the mini fridge was also noisy. It was so hard to sleep that I had to turn off the AC and even unplug the fridge. Other than the noise, everything else was okay.

Bed was comfortable. Room smelled musty, paint worn down to the wood on bathroom door, no ventilation fan in restroom, dirty grout, peeling paint.

Went down to desk and they were kind. Offered me another room, same problem. Third room was fine and I remained for the duration of my stay. I’m not sure why others gave 10/10 for this hotel. It’s not a 10/10. That score is reserved for the Ritz-Carlton. A Marriott is also worth a 10/10. This hotel, well being generous, is a 6/10 at best. I travel frequently and know quality. This is not quality. Try another. Please. Save yourself a headache.

Nice hotel, very convenient to I-75.

It wasn’t super clean. The shower hose was damaged so I couldn’t take a shower. The room kinda smelled a little like urine and a little like someone had smoked in it.

This property is dilapidated. They haven't cleaned a baseboard, carpets, etc. The walls have grime on them, the plugs don't work and fall off the wall. I will never stay there again. It is awful.

Close to the mall

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to arrive up into the morning, I wasn’t able to check into my room and had to get a room elsewhere. Someone should be accessible to the front desk at any given moment if customers need any assistance. Due to nobody there for over an hour to an hour and a half, I had to leave and go get another room in town. Very disappointing.

This hotel had a very good rating at a decent price so I chose it. It definitely didn’t live up to the rating. It was in need of many repairs, the floor was filthy dirty, the bed sagged, the pillows were tiny, and the workout room was pathetic.

Area was quiet, staff was friendly and parking appropriate. Restaurants in area will meet anyone's taste buds. Rooms were aged but adequate.

Good location after a long day of driving.

The only thing that was horrible was breakfast. There was NO coffee at breakfast or hot water for oatmeal. There was no toaster. AND the only peanut butter was a community jar which is not up to health standards. The milk was frozen. I will never stay here again. The least the hotel could have done was run over to Starbucks which was less than a mile away and buy some huge things of coffee.

After eye surgery with an early follow up appointment the next morning, our stay was quiet, restful and convenient to my doctor and surgery center. Living about two hours away, will definitely stay again if the need arises.

Breakfast only open until 900am. Would have been nice if open until 1000am. But otherwise great place.

This seems to be an older property but our stay was very nice. Staff was very friendly, the complimentary breakfast was great, and our bed was so comfortable. Would recommend it as a convenient place to stay for sure!

This reservation was made for us by a family member. Staff were friendly and polite. But the property is run down and nothing was truly clean. Mattresses are breaking down, furniture is scratched and chipped. There was debris on the floor from the previous guest. Towels are small and thin, sheets are frayed—and you have to make a special request if you don’t want to wait three days for fresh linens. We were very uncomfortable. Last comment: we took one look at the free breakfast and walked to Starbucks.

Water leaking from windows. Was told to just lay a towel down to prevent it from going into the AC unit and that all the rooms will do that since it’s raining so I was not offered a different room. Also a piece of the window collapsed since it was wet

We found the room comfortable, clean and spacious. Hallways and lobby areas appear, although clean, trending being shabby and in need of attention. Elevator doors close so quickly we had difficulty getting off before they closed. Breakfast was good although selections were quite limited.

I have read many cimments about how clean the rooms are. These people did not stay in the same wingate i did. The bathroom walls and floor were dirty. The carpet was dirty. Half the outlets in the room did not work. When it was time to check out, the front doors were locked and no one was in the lobby. Very odd. I would not recommend this hotel unless you don't mind 2nd raye hotels

It was raining. The window was leaking water into the room at an alarming rate. I called the front desk and told them. They calmly told me to place a towel on the window sill to catch the water. I got the feeling that this had happened many times n the past. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

Triple charged our deposit. Rooms are older but clean and good for price. Breakfast was ok. Eggs were salty and the OJ tasted like orange water.

I picked this place for the price. It was fine. My room could’ve been cleaner for sure. (For example there was a dead fly on the bed.) I appreciated the friendly staff and free toiletries.
