A Beautiful stay! Loved the staff, especially at check in and out. Our view was very nice and loved being able to safely walk to all the fun things in the area with my family till almost midnight. I found the beds and the shower head especially dreamy! The only thing I desired was a lil microwave for our late night munchies! No worries, we'll be back and Love EVERYTHING about the property❤️

After driving 12hrs, we just wanted to get something to eat, relax and watch some TV. Restaurants were getting ready to close in the hotel and the food reflected that. The tv in the room wouldn't work, technician couldn't get it to work, said they would be back with another one and never came back. Called front desk, they said it was down there.... like I'm supposed to go down and get it. Finally just went to bed. The fridge in the room didn't work either, had to throw out the food we put in there to keep cool.

The staff here is amazing and beyond helpful. When the A/C was making a loud noise, they graciously moved us to another room. I love having a Starbucks inside the hotel. Convenient location for highway access.

Honestly, not much. I stayed from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Wednesday, May 27, 2026, and my experience was highly unsatisfactory. (In my opinion:The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures that are located on booking. Com) Initially, the housekeeping staff did not thoroughly clean the room. After reporting this issue to the front office, a staff member named James explained that the level of cleaning depended on whether a deep clean or a regular clean was performed. This indicated that the sink, which remained dirty from the morning, was not to be cleaned during the regular service. Additionally, between approximately 1:30 am and 3:30pm. each night, I experienced someone attempting to enter my room by twisting the door knob. On the first night, May 25, 2026, I attempted to report this incident to the front desk; however, management was unavailable, and my concern was not relayed to security or management. On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, I was able to speak with James, to whom I reported both incidents. He explained that the night manager was on lunch and would return by 11:30pm I informed him that we were exhausted and had been out all day, requesting that the manager call me before 11:30am Unfortunately, this call was never received. Around 1:30 a.m., the issue recurred. I contacted Cain, the front desk manager, who stated that James had only left a note instructing him to call me. I reiterated my concerns regarding housekeeping and was told he would contact housekeeping to clarify their responsibilities. Furthermore, I expressed concern about someone continuously attempting to tamper with my door knob each night. My 14-year-old daughter was also present in the room. Cain suggested that I use earplugs, to which I responded that if I had already informed staff about someone trying to force entry, earplugs would not address the safety issue. Throughout my stay, I felt there was a lack of urgency and professionalism. I experienced significant sleep deprivation due to these disturbances.

First stop on a road trip. We have stayed here before it was Hilton. Rooms have been nicely modernised. Rooftop bar is a great addition. We like this location close to Warehouse Row and ChooChoo bars and restaurants but also nice easy and flat walk to riverfront and river arts district is lovely.

Enjoy going to the Chattanoogan. My only criticism is that my room was next to the highway and very noisy (even numbered room). Only pick the odd numbered rooms.

I didn't much care for the ladies at checkin counter - no very friendly. But the ladies working the counter at checkout. were super. friendly and nice.

My only complaint is that the housekeeping staff did a poor job of cleaning. When we retired to a "clean" room there were hairs in the sink, the toilet paper roll had not been refreshed, and, while this is really nitpicky, the cord to the hairdryer was sticking out of the drawer. It just pointed to lack of care IMHO. That said, stay at the Chattanoogan. You can't beat an evening at High Rail having drinks and good food served by Logan. Ask for Sarah at Forge and she'll take good care of you (plus, the food is delicious!). And there's a Starbucks on site. Would more could you ask for?

The only issue we had was that 2 of the 3 elevators were out, and the 3rd one was out for about an hour. It is a good thing the Hotel is only 5 floors.

Hotel common areas clean and tidy. Hotel staff was friendly and informative. Having a Starbucks in the lobby was so convenient. King size bed was a bit soft. Otherwise, room was spacious and had a great coffee bar.

Super nice hotel! Everything was very clean and super quiet for a very nice sleep. I gave it four stars because we really missed not having a pool. We tried to use the outdoor fire pit area to hang out, but there was a strong smell of sewage outdoors during that time. The smell was gone the next morning when we went outside, so I’m not sure what was going on the night before.

Perfect location!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our experience special, especially for my daughter who was celebrating her 16th birthday. They made her feel recognized, welcomed, and celebrated in such a thoughtful and genuine way that meant so much to our family. It is rare to find a place that pays attention to those little details, and they absolutely nailed it.

nothing special, welcome to hotel was "fine" but not warm, 2 of 4 pillows were flat, took 3 calls to the Forge and 2 to front desk to get room service, lights were out in the hallway, my first waygu burger was overcooked (honestly, mc ds quarter pounder was juicier and more flavorful); nothing bad, but nothing impressive. not one thing special. V

Hotel rooms looking tired. Advertised as Hotel with Spa but there is no pool, no sauna or steam room just a small treatment area. At $300 per night I feel it’s very over priced for what you get.

Perfect location in downtown for walking to nearby attractions. Nothing negative to report, everything was perfect.

Beautiful facilities, loved having a Starbucks in the lobby, lots of great restaurants close by. Did not enjoy: the super uncomfortable bed, the constant loud whooshing noise coming from somewhere in our room. We called the front desk the first night and they said it was probably the heating system? It never stopped the whole time we stayed there. It was like a very loud nonstop white noise machine.

Great location to the southside area of Chattanooga. The hotel was in great condition and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff were so nice, the hotel smells amazing, and there was a Starbucks downstairs for our morning out the door!

Had breakfast at Forge before we left, fixed my wife’s eggs just as she wanted them! Very good breakfast!

The bathtub and shower curtain had mold. For the lobby to smell so good, our room did not. It smelled kind of stale and musty. The staff was nice.

The hotel is not that impressive for the money. The location isn’t really walkable to the attractions in my opinion. I did walk, and the walk was unpleasant at times. There were other guests making a lot of noise past midnight in the hallways of the hotel which was annoying.

Did not do breakfast. Hotel room lacked sufficient lighting. Bathroom sink stopper was inoperable. Mattress moved undesirably on flat platform. Perfect location. Clean & quiet!

The room was very comfortable. The bedding was a little too tight at the edges. I am short and had a hard time getting out to go to the restroom.

They have machines that spray perfume in the lobby and near the fitness room. It’s very strong. You are charged for everything. (Self parking, coffee, restaurants are expensive.) Bed was hard.

We had a pleasant stay.

Great location, nice gym, and loved having Starbucks on the premises. We ate at Starbucks for breakfast every morning. Irritating issues that emphasized form over function or ergonomics. The only lights in the room were by the bedside and you had to stand to reach them. Hello, bedside lights should be reachable when lying down in bed. Only one set of electronic cordage were provided. So one of us has to move our phone, watch and pc to one side of the room and not within easy reach of the bed. The trash can was done in miniature. Anything larger than a soda can was too much. Really! I swear they let the 20 somethings who never used a hotel in their life design this stuff.

Valet and check-in/out is easy and convient. It is great to have a Starbucks onsite as well as a Spa.

The common areas were clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were a good size, but the lighting in the bathroom was not ideal for doing makeup or getting ready for an event. The small mirror that is supposed to be magnifying with light looked dirty and the light was so dim. Overall good experience

Reception wasn’t friendly. The Spa had amazing customer service though.

.TV and phone not working when we arrived, however problem resolved rather quickly by competent staff member. Ice machine on our floor (2nd) was not only not working but falling apart. Other wise a very nice place.

The room had mold in the bathroom ceiling. The lightbulb was missing from the light so the room was dark. Not a good location at all either. They have warning signs all over the garage to lock your car that are not reliable for anybody that breaks in and steals your belongings.

The place was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. However, the rooms were just OK, needed more counter space, more pillows, better exercise facilities.

Great location. Near restaurants and coffee shops. Also has two nice restaurants on site. The Forge, one of the restaurants on site, has a delicious breakfast menu.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms. The view was disappointing

Choosing this hotel was a good decision. It’s very close to the aquarium. Lots of restaurants and the hotel restaurant as well as the rooftop bar had delicious food. We arrived early on the first day, around 1 o’clock and check-in wasn’t until four. The front desk staff did not make us feel like we were a pain. They just had no trouble at all getting us into a room. I really appreciated that. The valet guys out front were super friendly and helpful. The parking garage if you don’t want to use the valet is conveniently right there next to the hotel. We didn’t have any problems with parking our vehicle and it staying safe while we were there. We could see Lookout Mountain from our hotel room window. The room was clean. Honestly, I was very happy with choosing this hotel. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is there were a couple of inconveniences, but they weren’t that big of a deal. The platform bed is extremely comfortable, however, the mattress slides. So by morning, my side of the bed would be a foot over the support frame so if I got too close to the end of the bed, it felt like I would fall off. They didn’t clean the room during our stay and gave us no fresh towels. We had to ask for some. Minor issue. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, beautiful place. Nice options for food and drinks and nice decor. Nice staff. Justin and Isaac at valet were nice. There was a really nice woman at checkout who helped at valet- I appreciated her help and we tipped her well.

Great hotel, rooms great and clean. Staff friendly. Weather was good. But didnt like the area much, but was only an overnight stay so all was good. Have a fantastic roof top terrace - only point was no vegan options at the hotel and no teabags.

Parking was $16 a day for the garage which is very reasonable since the hotel is located downtown and parking is always an issue. It goes up to $22 a day for valet parking.

The room was very nice and the staff is very friendly. The hotel itself is also above par with all that it offers. The only thing that keeps from giving it 5 stars is the walls are kind of thin and I could hear tv’s and people talking, there is no closet or place to hang clothes except on the inside of the bathroom door and the a/c unit sounds like a generator when it fires up. Otherwise it’s in a great location and was a nice play to stay.

It was a great 1st walk in experience. It is one of the nicest places we have stayed and had splurged a little due to it being our honeymoon. That being said, we stayed for a week and the longer we stayed the services declined. We went from top notch services to holed towels to no room service at all. Restaurant in hotel way over priced and expensive. Security is great and a plus. Wasn’t expecting the daily parking fees. Bed was very comfortable but dresser drawers were broken and it took about 25 minutes for shower to get hot enough. Over all a good experience though

This is probably the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at! They allow dogs on a large patio which is great if you are traveling long distance!

Our stay was really good. We needed up having to change rooms because of cleanliness and some imperfections in the room but the second room was excellent.

Hotel room was large and comfortable. Bar was well stocked and service was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was great.

Hotel was clean, rooms were very clean and air conditioning worked well. Warm water always available for showers. Only downside is they are rebuilding alot around the area which closed some crosswalks and walkways. Convenience wise it would have been nice to stay closer to the aquarium area but this place was nice with great staff that it was worth driving to some places

I was quite disappointed that this property no longer has a pool. They also did not have a business center. However they were able to print something for me but it would have been easier to be able to do it myself. Not having to run to the front desk every time i needed something.

I loved the look and feel of the building. The rooms were pristine. The staff was exceptional. The food at The Forge restaurant was delicious. The hostess was so sweet and attentive and the waiters were amazing. The front desk Cedar and Eddie made sure I had a wonderful stay. The Spa was a delight. The front desk coordinator s Shannon and Rose were the best and Mk and Brandi gave me the best experience. Now the only thing I didn’t like is that the hotel no longer has a pool at this time they converted it to a restaurant bar on the roof.
