The hotel is in a constant state of repair my room had plaster all over the walls that it looked like they were trying to fix cracks in the walls. Mold in the bathroom ceiling. The wall was cracked and the corner thing was hanging off. The breakfast tasted old and it was ok for a free breakfast but the cereal was stale. Parking was ok the parking lot was full of freight boxes. The pool was ok it had green places in it but we still swam. The staff was friendly.
- 1/5
They are updates it but we did not get one of those rooms. We did not have a lock on the door and the bed was super hard and smelled like cigarettes and sweat.

Read reviews before you book.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice a polite staff!!!!
- 4/5
If you don't mind the renovations going on, this a great value for the money. It was just 5 miles to downtown and closer to Lookout Mountain and Ruby falls. Very quiet and some restaurants close by. Right next to a Walmart as well.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
Room was big we had 4 people and it was plenty big enough. On site pool was nice. Plenty of parking on site and near by. Staff was great! Room looked and smelled clean. Walking distance to resturants and stores.
- 3/5
The hotel was under renovation so it's hard to really say, but the desk person could have been nicer and spoken in a language understandable. The room felt humid and the complimentary breakfast was as minimal as it could be.

It is undergoing some renovation, and it does need it.

Easy self parking, no fee. Unfortunately we were so busy site service we didn't have time to use the pool or patio. Our room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable for us. The room was very clean.

Nothing was good about it. It was not a good place. There was mold in the bathroom. The a/c didn't work well, the appliances were all turned off and refrigerator had a puddle of water in it. The beds were hard and lumpy.

Breakfast was disappointing. room was not clean. stained carpet. no fresh towels. very displeased.

Disappointing
- 1/5
The hotel is so bad, it should not be operational. The room and hotel were not as advertised. The room was not cleaned, mold on the ceilings, bathroom, and in the fridge, there were cracks in the walls all the way to the ceiling, and brown matter on the walls. Upon addressing the issues with staff, they said the cleaning staff could not do anything until the next morning and we could not have another room. I asked for a remodeled room and was told there were none.
- 3/5
I'm not sure I'd stay again.
- 4/5
Very Welcoming staff. Shower was hot and bed was comfortable. The room and building itself could use some TLC. The bathroom toilet ran and water/humidity in the bathroom is causing mold and peeling paint. Breakfast was okay. Coffee excellent!
- 4/5
They could improve on breakfast menu.
- 5/5
Free parking and WiFi, great location, nearby restaurants and shopping, close to several local tourist attractions

It was ok
- 4/5
Clean room, decent breakfast, good location, easy parking
- 3/5
The room was in need of repair. Carpet coming up, half of the light switches did not seem to go to anything. The large vanity mirror was screwed to the wall extremely crooked. Walls had patched holes but not painted. The bathroom was clean, thankfully
- 3/5
AC was not working fine, even reduced the temp it was not getting cold
- 3/5
The room was in disrepair. Li.ited towels available
- 5/5
Front desk personel was great, room was in good working order. Would stay again in the future.
- 3/5
Room was fine. Bed was comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. Really liked that I could make my own waffles for breakfast.
- 5/5
I liked the mountain views

- 4/5
Room was clean The staff was nice
- 4/5
Our room was clean and very quiet. There were noticeable signs of renovation in the past five years. The biggest concern was stepping out of the tub as the tub bottom was a good six inches above the bathroom floor creating a serious tripping hazard.
- 3/5
Bathroom was clean and bed was clean. Just needed a good carpet cleaning and updating. Breakfast food was as expected.
- 4/5
Pleasant place to rest

Older hotel but room was clean and in good shape.
- 5/5
As good as I can expect !

- 3/5
Room was not clean, the exhaust fan in th bathroom had rotting foundation around it in our shower. There was nastiness all over every wall. When we first walked in there was another individuals hair in the sink and floor which was evidence it was not clean. Stains all over the comforter.
- 4/5
The breakfast was fair but coffee ran out at 0710, when breakfast started at 0700.
- 4/5
Room was clean but the hotel was a little older and walls were dingy. Breakfast was just ok. All in all the hotel could have been better, but could have been worse.
- 2/5
The staff was fine, the facility sucks. I will not be back.
- 1/5
The building may just need to be knocked down. Holes in room walls. Hallway outside room was silent hill lever horror. Fridge was off but I turned it on and it worked but smelled of fish or something deal more and more as the stay went. Ac was off and room was 80 upon arrival. Gross. Smelly. Bathtub and all carpet and surfaces dirty. All. Looked like a prank. We stayed in an air bnb for same price instead. Gross. Nice people though. :)
- 2/5
Mold on the shower walls. The room was musty and even with the air conditioner on it was still very humid. Carpet needs to be replaced. Ice machine had a huge leak on the floor seeping into the hallway carpet.. Coffee machine was hard to fill up. NOT COMING BACK!
- 4/5
Room was nice and cold
- 3/5
The hotel really needs some interior renovations… paint peeling off the walls, etc.
- 5/5
Nothing inperticular
- 5/5
Unfortunately, I had left some luggage and had driven hours away. I called the hotel in a panicked state and Michelle reassured me my luggage was there. I drove back to get it and there was another lady working the front desk who was so lovely and helpful. They are very nice staff at this hotel and it is to their credit.my hotel room was clean and nice. I recommend.
- 5/5
really enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the property. It felt unique and comfortable, like a home away from home.
- 5/5
Great price, quiet for sleeping. Clean room.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 4/5
Very comfortable beds!!
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was good. (What you'd expect in a contenintial breakfast. The hotel in general just needs some TLC. From peeling wallpaper being stapled back in place, to the elevator that shudders and makes terrifying noises, it has so much potential... it just needs an over all refresh.
- 2/5
Rooms need upgrades or renovations
- 4/5
Clean and right off the highway. Lookout Mountain is a great area to stop for the night.
- 2/5
Worn out Hotel
- 2/5
The property is very hat even with the AC on, there where holes in walls, the showers run too hot, the staff are rude, and the pool smelled like fish.
- 1/5
As soon as we walked in to the property it stank like smoke and the blankets were dirty.. the phone to call reception was not working and the place just looks and smells old 😐 terrible...wont be coming back to this location...
- 4/5
I was initially concerned about my room location (that’s what i get for the special rate - hah!) which was literally right across from the elevator and ice machine (the ice machine is only in the 3rd floor, so that was a bonus), but with the AC running I never really heard any noise from the hallway. The room clock was broken so none of the buttons were functional and the display kept blinking. Unclear why the property manager doesn’t fix/replace it, but since the power outlets on it were working, I wasn’t really bothered by it. Overall, I would definitely come back to stay here.
- 5/5
Everyone was nice and pleasant. Room is clean. But my expectations.
- 1/5
Worst hotel stay in a long time. Had holes in sheets, carpet torn, air conditioners barely worked, door broken, asked for 3rd/4th floor got put on bottom floor, back door to hotel not secure, and desk broken. Do not stay at this property.
- 1/5
There were holes in the walls in our room, holes in the bathroom ceiling, plywood furniture in our room was falling apart, cardboard boxes stapled over holes in the ceiling in the lobby. Wet stains on the bedroom floor and linens that were ripped and stained. The pictures for this hotel are not accurate at all. We would have been better off camping.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Was not what Trip Advisor said it was. It was very dirty. Room had used dental floss on floor broken drawer in dresser. Missing lamp and chair. Will never stay or recommend this to anyone. Mold on curtains and smelled like mold in hallways. Elevator was filthy. This was a horrible remodel that needs completely overhauled.
- 3/5
The TV isn’t working. The pillow was uncomfortable.
- 4/5
This hotel was very convenient stop for our trip
- 5/5
Thank you for everything you do
- 3/5
Staff left a maintenance door open a on the ground floor making the hot. I did not inquire about the issue, but the heat and air may need upgrade. The rooms were very clean. And the clerks were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very cheap. None of my grand children would eat the food.
- 2/5
Room had a musky odor. The bed mattresses were worn out and need to be replaced. The hotel is very outdated.
- 1/5
Upon getting my room, it was not clean enough for my standards. I requested another room which I did get but it still was not very clean and it was ran down and not in very good shape
- 3/5
You get what you pay for! It was fine, but it was almost comical how many things were just not right! Remote was taped together, the pillows on the king size bed were the size of couch throw pillows, the shower curtain had a hole in the middle of it, and the mini fridge made a constant tapping noise! The room didn't smell bad and was clean, just a bit worn to say the least!
- 4/5
It was good
- 1/5
Reception was rude because I had booked thru Expedia for better price. Outside building has had face lift but once you walk thru the doors…nasty, nasty, nasty. I can’t even phantom how bad this place is. Our room literally had rotten wholes in the wall all around the ac unit. The ceiling above ac unit was falling down. The window was broken and wouldn’t open. The window was so nasty you could barely see out it. The ceiling was cracked broken and they had tried to patch. The elevator nasty nasty. The carpet in the halls were disgusting so nasty and worn they were just tearing away like a wore out sweater would. I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like it in my life for a hotel service and I hope I never have to experience it again. We should have left but was just to tired after our drive. Next time I will leave and will be more cautious how I book a stay.
- 5/5
Good area with lots of restaurant options.
- 1/5
The breakfast was not good. Our shower head was broken. The toilet never stopped running. There were insects in our room. The dumpster doors banged all night. It felt uncared for. Never staying at a Quality Inn ever again.
- 5/5
The room was clean, quiet and had the amenities I required. The staff was courteous and helpful.
- 1/5
We did not even take shower at this horrible place We went late nigh by the time my kid was asleep so we did not change But very disappointed..
- 4/5
Have stayed here 3 times now as we pass through. Will stay again in the future
- 3/5
Need to remodel tvs areold the places are worn out
- 1/5
The hotel was nothing like it was pictured . Nasty and the pool was so gross
- 5/5
The room was small but quaint. The hotel is huge. The staff was very polite.
- 1/5
We stayed at this property for the pool and both days it was mentioned the pool was too cold to even put your feet in. The ladies stated we turned the temperature up but something had to be not working correctly. Also, the hotel was very dusty and dirty. I am at an Urgent Care right now with my son having a diagnosed sinus infection.
- 1/5
Breakfast was not good
- 5/5
😊
- 5/5
Friendly. Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
- 3/5
The faucet handle fell off when we turned on the water, the carpet had many stains, the walls were patched but not painted. Mainly poorly maintained.
- 1/5
Room carpet was worn out, bed sheets had a hole, blanket was torn inside, bathroom door handle was broken, mini fridge was rusted inside and toilet did not flush correctly. Unfortunately the facility is not being well managed. I do not recommend.
- 1/5
This entire building was dirty and disgusting!!! Water damage and stains throughout the building and inside the rooms. Very disturbing odor in the room!! Drawers falling apart and leftover bags of chips in them! Foot prints on the walls, stains all over the carpets, and water damage everywhere!! Staff was rude. Floors in the pool area had been painted, and the paint peels off onto your feet. While experience was not pleasant!!
- 2/5
After leaving a DO NOT DISTURB tag in the door before we left we came back to find a make up bag type item on our vanity that WAS NOT OURS! Full of prescriptions and other items. Took to front desk and nobody had a clue as to who it belonged to. ( name on medication bottles) stating that they had no employees by that name! THEN WHO WAS IN OUR ROOM? Shouldn’t have been ANYBODY as there was a tag on the door knob anyway! Not happy at all about this experience!
- 4/5
Very quiet.
- 3/5
The ceiling and walls are water damaged alot
- 3/5
The hotel was pretty nice for the price. Yea there was a few cosmetic things like paint peeling here and there but no biggie, it was clean the room was clean. The beds were a little hard and stiff but works ok for a night. The main reason we picked the hotel was for the indoor pool but for an indoor pool it was still a little too cool for us. The pool room was a but chilly and the water wasnt really warm, the kids loved it but for us adults it wasnt warm enough lol. They did have a small breakfast buffet that was included, consisted of waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy and a few fruit and yogurt items and cereal, along with juice and coffee. Over all it was a decent place and would stay again.
- 3/5
Bedspread had spots on it. TV remote the back cover was broke. The low table - the drawer was broke and sitting crooked. Lamp on the table had missing pieces. Furniture was in poor condition.
- 1/5
Very dirty and poorly unkept. Bathroom and walls had poop stains…
- 1/5
It had bugs and we was itching all night the sheets was dirty
- 2/5
The reservation was screwed up. Hotel said reservation was for Saturday, checkout Sunday. Front desk was unable to assist, but did connect with Expedia who indicated they would resolve.
- 3/5
This hotel was a little outdated inside and needed repairs. In our room above the window, the ceiling was coming loose and the wall in the bathroom needed to be repaired also. We got a suite and we liked it. It’s just an older hotel.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Need to clean the floors and do some general maintenance
- 4/5
The Lobby and breakfast areas were great. They were very clean and we felt comfortable eating there. Past that was run down. On the way to the pool, there was what I assume was a hole in the wall covered by a box that was ducktaped to the wall. The pool house was actually quite chilly and the water was lukewarm, so not super enjoyable. The beds in our room were clean but VERY firm. A few pieces of furniture had seen better days and there were plenty of stains on the carpet. The bathroom portion of our room looked renovated, but past that, it wasn't too great. Overall, this hotel has seen better days. Serious renovations past the lobby would make a huge difference. The staff was wonderful, though.
- 5/5
The rooms and staff were nice. My only issue was the pillow cases and towels smelled bad, soured.
- 1/5
Very displeased with my stay. First the pull out couch and mattress looked like it was picked up off the street. Needless to say i didnt allow my son to sleep on it. Second, the conforter that he was given had a big orange stain on it. Third there where live cockroaches in the room with us. It was disgusting. I slep for a few hours and then checked out at 11pm. Will not stay here again.
- 2/5
The room was dirty and the bathroom was worse.
- 3/5
The room was clean. It's obvious it's an older hotel. The carpet next to the tile was shaggy. The walls had been patched, but in need of paint.
- 2/5
Unfortunately the aged, worn carpet has not been replaced. the doorway carpet was torn away from the tack strip in the doorway on the floor. the bathroom had dirt and hair in the corners - not clean. the walls had dark splatters on them by the sink outlet. A simple vinegar-water or spray cleaning would have helped the walls. There was a slight mildew smell as I entered the Room. There was a hair was on top of the trial shampoo. glad I brought my own. Staff was polite.
- 5/5

Ceiling held up by 2 nails water damage above bed baseboard missing exposing damaged walls linens torn locked out of room 2nd day had to get key card scanned again 2nd shift associate not very pleasant
- 4/5
The motel is pretty clean the staff very professional the bed was very comfortable continental breakfast was okay
- 1/5
The hotel was hot and musty and moldy, the room was dusty, hot, and the bed linen was dirty.
- 1/5
Well since plane were shut down, My 75 year old Mom with dementia and I decided to drive to Minnesota from Jax, Glorida. Booked hotel easily, got a room that looked clean but had a sink that is broken and smeared over with epoxy. There is a hole in the wall and the tv doesn’t work- it literally won’t turn on. We called last night- no apology, or offer to move to a better room, she only said, thank you for telling me.
- 5/5
Room clean., outside normal, breafast good, near street so very noises in the morning, very easy to accessed many main attraction
- 4/5
The property was immaculately clean, But it needed a seriously upgrade. The Furnishings and electronics in the unit I stayed in were outdated. The unit I it was on the first floor, and the view from my window was a retaining wall, and A walk path
- 2/5
The room itself is fine, a little dated, but the service here sucks. Lady at the front desk barely made eye contact, no greeting, just held her hand out and said "ID", then literally shooed us toward the elevator after she handed me the key card, like we were on her nerves. Must be super annoying when people interrupt your day by saying hello then having the audacity to expect you do the job you payed for. Get to the room and find a king size bed with 4 pillows but the pillows are throw pillows, like 1 foot by 1 foot. I went back to the desk to ask for extra pillows and the women looked at me like I just asked a fish to climb a tree. We got one extra pillow, also a throw pillow, and you'd have thought it was made of gold the way she acted when she gave it to us. Sign on the desk says they can help with almost anything you need, just ask.... apparently that does not extend to proper pillows...in a hotel. I'm glad we're only staying one night. We won't be back.
- 1/5
Our one night stay here was awful. As soon as you walked into the lobby it stunk of cigarette smoke. It constantly felt sticky and humid. The walls in the hallway were gross, the carpet was god awful. It was just not a nice stay. The bathroom walls look like they had not been cleaned in months.
- 4/5
Nice property but need some updates.
- 4/5
Only complaint i have, is the shower had very little pressure.
- 4/5
Staff was great!! Area around hotel was not very appealing.
- 1/5
I was looking forward to starting our vacation early and heading half way up. Reserved the hotel online. First got there noticed the lobby needed an upgrade, then as going to the room, the hallways are like a sauna. They room was not much better. They have growing black mold thay have tried to paint over, holes in walls and cailing. Some of the outlets dont work which makes it hard to charge your phones. The free breakfast is as cheap as it comes with microwave sausage. We left asap and will never go back.
- 4/5
The room had a funny smell. I had to spray some air freshener. The bar of hand soap was opened and looked like it had already been used. Overall it was a good stay.
- 4/5
Carpet needs replacing
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Outstanding location off I24; very reasonable hotel price; check in at Service Desk needs improvement, with more of a welcome and providing any information needed. Probably a need for more training of personnel.
- 3/5
It wasnt a bad stay. It was just an average place to stay.
- 5/5
Nice place to visit
- 3/5
Very dirty, wall peeling and crumbling. Carpet and sheets stained and torn. Broken drawers. Breakfast was average. Eggs were powdered. Coffee was hot but terrible tasting. Only things offered at the Coffee bar was black tea, sugar, Splenda and half n half.
- 1/5
Staff was rude, place was rundown and gross. I had feces on my bathroom wall, blood on my pillow case and pillow. Air barely worked. Reviews were high so I thought it would be too. But I will never go back!
- 1/5
Front desk was very short with her words and not exactly friendly. They seemed under staffed as well.the lace was falling apart when tou walk in the wall behind the front desk is so cracked and falling apart.. they stapled it together all the ceiling tiles has brown old water damage, the mechanical rooms doors stay open smells musty and moldy down the hallways, my floor reeked or weed. The house keeping was blaring her music on her phone that i could hear in my room. We were on the 2nd floor and whoever was above us was the exact example of the worst stories youve heard of being in an apartment with people above you. Loud, stomping running all evening long.
- 1/5
The wall was was cracked and falling off. The structure of the building was not in good shape.
- 4/5
A great location. Was able to get much needed rest
- 3/5
The rooms and hallways are in desperate need of an overhaul. The first room we got, the toilet didn’t work, the 2nd room was sorely in need of an upgrade. Peeling plaster in the bathroom, and took the tv about 10 minutes to boot up.
- 1/5
Gross and in poor repair. Desk staff was nice and helpful, however the desk staff was the only positive thing about our stay.
- 3/5
The maintenance of this hotel was lacking. Just in our room the mirror was very crooked, sink faucet loose, shower leaked more above the shower head than what came out the head, and the coffee maker didn't work.
- 4/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
It was a very good choice near the places to see like rick city and raccon caves and down toun Chattanooga.
- 5/5
View terrible, maintenance issues in room, front looked great but room was in need of repairs, and hall and breakfast area not heated
- 2/5
The place is falling apart.
- 2/5
Staff did not seem to have a grasp of reservation system. Took to long to checkin.
- 1/5
COCKROACHES COCKROACHS told the lady coming off the elevator they had COCKROACHES and her response was “ALWAYS EVERYDAY” if I wanted roaches and bed bugs I’d take myself to an hourly hotel and pay for that fine experience
- 3/5
The elevators and hall ways were nasty . Lady was passed out in hall way . Shady people walking around the parking lot at all hours . Rooms were stained. Corners dirty and ceilings had tissue stuck to it. Just Nasty! Never again .
- 4/5
The property needs upgrades
- 5/5
Was a nice hotel
- 5/5
The Quality Inn is in a beautiful building and great location for cross country travelers needing to stop for the night. Staff were friendly. Elevator fast and operational (buttons did not light up but still stopped on our floor). I wrote up criticism, but they are given an excellent rating because the price was fantastic. If you get it at a great price, does not seem fair to rate it poorly. Ignore those reviews, unless items worn from use bother you dearly. We would definitely book again, especially if the price was right. BTW, Murphy Gas and Walmart right behind them for quick items to get back on the road.
- 4/5
The check in person was having trouble with the computer. It just took lot longer than ever before.
- 5/5
The place was nice, clean and your staff is very professional and polite. Than you for everything
- 4/5
Well the room i stayed the wall needs patching. Outside of that the room was clean and presentable and also needed some lamps that were not functioning correctly.
- 2/5
It was fine overall but the hotel was very dirty and falling apart. The lights in the lobby were fluttering the whole weekend, the walls are filthy, and the floors were dirty. My room had dirt in the corner of the bathroom.
- 5/5
Easy to find, easy check in, quiet
- 4/5
For the price it was a nice place to stay the night, very noisy though
- 3/5
Public restroom and elevator was out of order. Peeling paint in the bathroom, broken drawers.
- 1/5
I booked two rooms, mainly for the indoor heated pool. Both rooms had mold in the restroom and near the windows. Noticeable water damage was on the ceiling. The pool had a nasty greasy film floating on top of the water my daughter wasn’t able to go swimming. 20 minutes after arriving I tried leaving and getting refunded to go elsewhere but was unable to because I booked through Expedia. We stuck it out and stayed away from the hotel as long as possible.
- 2/5
Looks good from the outside. Inside, not so good. Needs cleaning, painting, new carpet, elevator does not work, lots of miscellaneous items in disrepair.
- 1/5
This hotel absolutely gets "fleabag" status. Everything from finishings to furniture throughout was stained and destroyed and in need of replacement.
- 2/5
Eggs were gross. No bacon. Coffee was bad.
- 4/5
Stay was fine
- 4/5
Orbitz messed up the reservation. It took half an hour to clear it up! It was finally fixed but it was an inconvenience.
- 1/5
We walked in and didn’t say. The room was in Terrible condition.
- 2/5
Staff barely acknowledged us at check in. We seemed almost a bother. Breakfast food offered was very limited and low quality. Overall poor experience for way too much money.
- 2/5
They require a $300 cash deposit to stay here but is not notified in the terms beforehand. My tools were stolen out of my truck in the parking lot as well
- 2/5
Not very clean. Had an odor, musty smell. Even the furniture in lobby was dirty.
- 1/5
Just gross. It smells. The walls, ceiling, furniture are in need of repairs. Linens/pillows smell. Mold on the ceilings and window was partially opened (no screen) when we arrived. I paid $100 for the night and feel like I've been ripped off. Very low standards, but there's so much room to improve! We're just going to try to sleep quickly so we can be out soon. Will not ever stay here again...or another Choice Hotel. This is a bad reflection of the brand.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean and quiet

There was a hole in the wall about the size of a golf ball. And the toilet seat had blood on it. I brought these issues to the staff and they offered me another room. The place looked like it needed some touch ups. Staff was very nice and friendly. And directed us to a nice restaurant which was very good.

This was our first time visiting, first the check in could find our reservation, it was cancel not by us. Front desk service was not so friendly, hotel Cleanliness was ok it have a lot of room for improvement, rooms were fine, coffee and creamer in the room taste old. It’s a nice hotel but with some improvements could be better

The hotel is in need of fixing of many areas. Cracked ceilings and walls, peeling walls, water damage. Moldy and mildew smell in rooms. We were disappointed because we had stayed here before sans it was not like this.
