Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests expressing satisfaction with their stay and others expressing dissatisfaction. Cleanliness and the state of repair of the rooms and facilities are common concerns.
- Friendly staff
- Convenient location
- Cleanliness issues
- Outdated facilities
- 4/5
Negatives are it needs a remodeling update badly. Shower has a curtain instead of a sliding glass door. Toilet sits very low.
- 3.5/5
Mainly location. Staff knocked on our door before checkout time, but we were ready.
- 0.5/5
The location was convenient and wasn't far at all from downtown Chattanooga. There was black mold in the room which was reported to the front desk and they were entirely unconcerned. It looked like it had been painted over previously. The room was sticky and stuffy as well. They offered a new room, but the way the entire hotel was hot and humid, we didn't feel safe staying as planned with a baby. Although they said a refund would be issued, we still need to dispute some charges.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect as always. We will continue staying when we we are in town.
- 3/5
The rooms are nice. But the AC didn't seem to be working at 100%. And the lobby had a strong weed smell. Over all, it works for a 1 night stay but I probably wouldn't stay longer than 1 night.
- 3.5/5
The lady at the front desk was very friendly the night we checked in.
- 3/5
The air conditioner sounded like a washing machine sloshing water. Adjusting would not stop it it was cool but never got cold
- 5/5
The breakfast was as good as Holiday Inn Express. The cost was 30% less. They helped me jump start my car. No complaints
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff were nice, good location. Breakfast is the bare minimum if you want anything other than coffee.
- 5/5
I slept in and missed breakfast Everything was fine
- 1/5
Gave us the wrong room so we walked in on other guests trying to sleep. Someone tried to open conjoining room in the night.
- 5/5
I loved the pool. And the location
- 5/5
I like just about everything about this hotel. I chose it as it was dog friendly. However, the only down side is there was no where to walk a dog to go to the bathroom. We had to walk to the end of the hotel and cut through a small path to get to Burger King for a small patch of grass. This was scary at 400 am in the morning...
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Staff was nice. Older hotel but clean, safe area, and half the price of hotels downtown.
- 5/5
Staff was kind and helpful I have nothing bad to say about my stay. It was good
- 5/5
The room itself was spotless, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches—like quality toiletries and a well-stocked coffee station—that made the stay feel extra special. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work, as everything was consistently clean and well-maintained. The hotel’s amenities were another highlight. Whether it was the relaxing common areas, the well-equipped fitness center, or the delicious breakfast options, everything was done with care and attention to detail. The location was also ideal, offering convenient access to nearby attractions while still being quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the level of service. Every staff member I interacted with went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience, and that made a lasting impression. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing. Everything was great.
- 2.5/5
Location was great. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was comfortable but needed some repairs. Baseboard was off, tile missing .
- 4.5/5
Water pressure could've been better.
- 5/5
Nice basic, clean, and comfortable motel. Good value for a night’s sleep.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Cons… Room had a smell in it. Towels and washcloths were stained. Bathroom lights over sink was out. There was a guest who kept yelling racial slurs in parking lot!!! So yeah!! There you go.
- 1/5
When you walk in the scent is really bad. This hotel is pet friendly but the order should be under control where pet owners dogs should be bathed before bringing them. You can't eat breakfast with it smells. My guest had to buy air freshener to spray hallway and room. My guest needed to rest. Sheets were pulled off bed and purchased their own from Walmart on hwy 153. Overall, I will not put my guest there to stay. Not a lot of parking space. I have to admit the price were ok for the weekend. Do better Quality Inn. Disappointed.
- 2.5/5
Very thin walls, could hear the people in the next room talking. In dire need of updating.
- 3/5
Simple Continental breakfast
- 4/5
The room i stayed in had some wall damage in the bathroom behind the door, the water in the shower did get hot enough, the phone worked half the time, the coffee table legs were starting to come off. The TP holder was broke.
- 5/5
Shops near by. Walking distance to fast food.very quiet.
- 3.5/5
Did not eat breakfast. Where it was located to stores and places to eat Lighting was bad but ok
- 3.5/5
Room had some physical issues….bathroom door punched in.
- 3/5
Cup rings and holes in sheet
- 5/5
Parking was close and safe. The room was clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Room needs updating
- 5/5
Staff was super courteous. The pictures online show some renovated and some more vintage. We definitely landed in a vintage room, but it was clean and the bed slept well. It was quiet and the first time we booked through a third party (and we travel frequently) that we were not booked a room next to a stairwell, ice machine or across from the elevator!
- 5/5
Clean room. Efficient front desk help. Good breakfast. Good location.
- 5/5
Staff was nice.
- 5/5
Room was for road conditions to bad to drive home due to ice storm. Work in city and drive home was treacherous. Stayed in town for work the next morning. Expensive but cheaper than insurance deductible.
- 5/5
Peace and quiet The sofa bed
- 4.5/5
Clean, good breakfast. Staff was nice. The road entrance was very rough, and hard to enter property.
- 2.5/5
The cleanliness wasn’t up to par for us , the wash clothe was full of soap but folded up as though it was clean . The floor was not swept , the counters was not wiped clean . I had to use my Clorox wipes and Lysol to clean this room .
- 5/5
The room was spotless and very comfortable. The night time man was so helpful and polite but this morning man wasn’t friendly at all.
- 1/5
Bathroom was covered in black mold!

There was a couple issues in the room, but they were efficient in resolving. Wonderful staff.
- 5/5
Clean, nice place
- 2/5
Well it was a place to lay or heads. For some place that is in a tourist town you would think it would be better. The bed was hard as a brick. The wall in our room looked like it was just patched up and repaired and they didn’t paint it back to look normal. The sink when turned on sprayed everywhere, even if you just slightly turned it on. The same wall that was patched had noticeable dents in it. They offered a breakfast at 0600 but when we got down there at 0615 there was hardly anything left. So either there was a lot of people in the 15 minutes or they just didn’t prepare properly (not sure). Luckily it is in a tourist town so there was plenty of breakfast places open. Oh and be careful when pulling in or out of the parking lot.

You get what you pay for, so it’s ok
- 5/5
Perfect for an overnight stay for my husband and I.
- 5/5
Great personal staff, clean rooms. Kids had a great time in the pool
- 2/5
Nasty hotel. Dimly lit not a Quality location. If pristine and clean is your preference choose somewhere else! Towels and wash cloths were old, wore out should have been used for car rags!
- 5/5
Very nice experience in and very good hotel and morning receptions was very helpful
- 4/5
Well appointed room. Good amenities for the price.
- 5/5
The staff is always pleasant and helpful.
- 3/5
Bathroom and beds were cleaned but room SMELLED like mildew. Our walls were dirty too. The only thing was the smell and walls. I cleaned the our wall with a clorox wipe so that fixed that. Later saw that it was mold on the curtains. That's where the smell was coming from, but it was already almost our time to leave when I saw it. I told the front desk and they changes the curtains with clean fresh ones. So that was a plus. Breakfast was good and staff was nice. It was a comfortable stay, and if you're ok with an outdated old room then you'll be fine, if not just spend the extra money and get a better hotel. I will next time.
- 1/5
Room had a musty smell and air conditioner didn’t work very good
- 5/5
Exactly what we needed for this trip. Very close to our venue and clean and comfortable
- 1/5
When i asked for toothpaste because i forgot it, i was told to go to.dollar general because they were out. I stayed the first night not knowing id be eaten by bugs and the second night i couldnt find another room in town because of the softball chamionships in the area... The third day i was so bitten that i could not stay there again... i went across the street and had to pay 300/night for the night as it was the cheapest i could find in town. This was a much cleaner and way better hotel. This eatablishment should call the orken man and maybe even set fire to that room

Check in was friendly and efficient and quick. Room was clean.

Parking tight
- 3/5
The bathroom had a blue light and no other light. Ceilings were horrible and walls were all messed up. Beds were ok. No bugs. Guy was folding pillow cases and towels on the tables in the lobby which is ran down. I’d stay again if there were no other options. Web site said 2pm check in. We didn’t have a room ready until after 3. Staff was nice though.
- 3/5
Had an unexpected “pet fee” of $40 for 2 dogs. This was non-refundable. Would have liked to have known previously. Average hotel, average service, average cleanliness.
- 5/5
Very nice properly. I will use again.
- 4/5
Rooms could be cleaner. Toilet ran all night and bathroom wasn't very clean. Place needs paint and update!
- 5/5
Melissa was wonderful in helping make the experience a great one. She was very helpful in noticing that the Mister was aged and was handicapped. Thank you, Melissa!!!!
- 2/5
I hate to only give 2 stars because the staff is really very helpful and super nice. The cleaning crew does a lot to keep the place in operation due to it being older and usually pretty busy. It's definitely not bad for a low budget. It's just a bit outdated and a little too noisy.
- 1/5
Staff unprofessional. Uses 3rd parties to scam you into purchasing rooms which are non refundable.
- 5/5
The lower rating for comfort is because there is only one chair in the room that has 2 beds. When I asked at the desk, I was told that 1 chair is all that is available for that room. A simple folding chair would have been very helpful rather than having to take turns to be able to sit down.
- 4/5
Good property
- 4/5
Nice room. Cleaning staff forgot to replace bathroom floor mat. But front desk took care of it next day.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly. I will stay again
- 5/5
Stay was nice, they just didn't have enough clean hand towels one day.
- 5/5
Bathroom and room was pretty nice and bathroom was big. The only con was the tv was small but that’s pretty minute in the grand scheme
- 5/5
Staying the night in Hixson, a great place to stay. Have stayed at this lication multiple times.
- 3/5
slow and wobbly toilets & the stench of marijuana was strong. However the people were nice & the bed was clean and comfortable
- 3/5
The area is not great. Rough neighbirhood directly across the street. They wanted a $150 deposit just in case we damaged or smoked in the r9om, when we walked in there was a big burn mark on our bed spread. Shouldn't someone else's deposit have covered that? Either way, I took a picture and shared it with the front deak so we wouldn't be charged.
- 4/5
Nice employees. Mold above shower on wall.
- 3/5
The property needs some maintenance done. Def an older building. Doors scratched up, walls need repair.
- 5/5
Decent place to stay. Convenient location. A bit too expensive
- 3/5
Good for a one night stay but not the best if you have to stay longer.
- 5/5
It’s a good value
- 4/5
Small but adequate accommodation. Showing age in some areas but still appeared clean.
- 3/5
There was a large, live cockroach on the floor when I went into my room
- 4/5
The property was clean and well kept.taff was very helpful.
- 3/5
Property is dated with many items in our room in need of repair. Breakfast was limited and the absolute cheapest items were provided.
- 5/5
Good location. Very nice people. Older hotel but was clean. Pet friendly. A lot less than the other hotels around it. Stayed there several times.
- 1/5
DO NOT stay in this hotel. This hotel is in poor condition and not clean. The smells alone are horrible. The building is falling apart. The rooms were moldy and dirty. The staff was indifferent. These conditions appear to be normal for them. I would not recommend.
- 5/5
nice spot
- 3/5
The room don’t have strobe fire alarm for deaf people. The people who work there really nice and friendly. The breakfast is not so perfect. This place is just ok to me.
- 5/5
This is a very convenient location for us when visiting family in the area. It is an older property, but it has always been clean and comfortable. The staff is also friendly.
- 3/5
Desk not always staffed, forgot my key and couldn't find anyone to get me a new one except for what i think was a family member of the owner who had a master key to let me in my room. Basic accommodations, you get what you pay for. Close to mall with shopping amd dining options!
- 4/5
It was clean and quiet
- 4/5
Continental breakfast needs upgrading
- 5/5
Nice room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Good value
- 5/5
The room was very nice quality and the Towels were changed every day and the bed was made and the room was generally cleaned and fresh.
- 5/5
It was very comfortable! It was clean and provided a good breakfast! Easy to check in and out! Close to a lot of Restaurants!
- 3/5
Our stay was pretty average. We were visiting family in the area and needed a pet friendly hotel. The price of keeping our dog with us was cheaper than boarding. The breakfast was standard yogurt, cereal, waffles, packaged breakfast burrito, coffee. The lobby was hot. There were two ac units in the lobby. We turned one on. I got the feeling that they were trying to keep costs down. Hotel was clean. Outdoor pool looked nice, we didnt get to use it.
- 5/5
This was a quick, inexpensive, overnight stay to see family. It had a decent continental breakfast. Beds were comfortable & room was clean. Air was good & cold. It's an older hotel with decent bathrooms & pool area was not huge, but fine for our grands to get wet in the heat. Exz tly what we needed for the right price.
- 2/5
People were really nice. The surfaces, sheets and towels were clean, but the property is in disrepair and the furniture is rough. The couch and desk chair in my room looked like they were picked from the curb. Price was less than others in the area, but not enough to justify the disrepair.
- 3/5
The American flag outside the property is an embarrassment, I have never seen a flag in a more despicable condition and I spent three tours in Afghanistan. I informed the front desk that they needed to replace it and how they can give it to the Boy Scouts or other organizations to dispose of it properly free of charge.
- 5/5
This is an older hotel but is clean and friendly. My only complaint was a musty smell in our room but adjusting the air conditioner and a spritz of body spray solved the issue.
- 3/5
Found the facilty requiring significant upgrading and deep cleaning. Not as pictured. Location sketchy characters.
- 5/5
Nice staff and excellent location. Had access to pretty much anything from there.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay while traveling
- 4/5
nice
- 5/5
I was only looking for the necessities. Two beds and two nights. Overall rating is good.
- 1/5
nothing
- 2/5
My room had an ant infestation, be careful with any food you bring inside. Other than that it was a fairly decent stay. Ac works great.
- 5/5
Restaurants right next door with easy access to all my needs
- 5/5
Best in town
- 4/5
The mattresses were a bit too hard but otherwise; we were both very pleased and enjoyed the friendliness of the managers. Thumbs up!
- 3/5
My stay was cut short for an emergency at home. But seemed fine while i was there
- 3/5
The property needs updating. The floor in the room was very sticky plus there was either a box full of pine tree deodorizers or something they cleaned the room with but the scent was too much.
- 5/5
Quiet and convenient to everything.
- 5/5
The staff were very kind and it was easy to get in and out of!!! No bugs, but the room needed a good vacuum and a good clean in the bathroom. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.
- 2/5
The hotel was pretty run down and definitely needs to be updated. The lobby was decent, but the rest of the building was very outdated and needed obvious renovations. The bed was very uncomfortable and I normally sleep like a baby when I stay in hotels, even cheap ones! Our last morning there, I woke up with the worst back pain and I never have issues like that.

Everything is disgusting from the sheets, curtains, towels. The floors are not clean. It was so bad I bought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned my room myself. Wanted to wash the sheets but the washer did not work. The lighting is bad, very dark room.

Clean- basic amenities, but nice for the price!
- 4/5
Pretty good price
- 2/5
I booked quality inn via hotels.com. i was in TN to see my sister before she passes from Cancer. I am on a budget and needed soething for a whole week. The front desk staff were very friendly. But the ladies that can to service the room had a communication barrier. The only way i could corresponds was via google translate. This was difficult. The bedding was tattered and we constantly were given 2 towels for 3 guests. I would pass on this hotel for your stay in this area.
- 2/5
We had no hot water in one of the two rooms we occupied.
- 4/5
we stayed here because this was one of the closes hotels that would allow pets.
- 1/5
Quality inn in murfreesboro was great byt this one was not. Odered a king bed and they put us in a 2 bed room without lettin me know. Night staff didnt have good attitude. But gave us another room which smelled like smoke. On the positive the linens had been washed but had cig burn holes in them. Reported that as to not be blamed for it and make sure i didnt lose my deposit.i had to ask for cleaner and wipe down surfaces myself. I just wont be going there again until issues are resolved. Building looks run down as well
- 1/5
Made unauthorized charges to my credit card then went on to defend their actions before admitting they placed the charges. Theft and fraud are words that come to mind
- 5/5
Bed was comfy and the room was clean
- 3/5
The hotel is clearly in need of a renovation. The hallways are dingy and the furniture is old and tired. The sofa in the room was disgusting. I give this pace a 2 star!
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
The whole staff made our stay very nice and comfortable.
- 4/5
Decent stay for the price.
- 5/5
The check in clerk was super friendly.
- 5/5
I come to Chattanooga every 2 to 3 months for wrestling show and always stay at the Quality Inn
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and smelled clean too!
- 1/5
Dirty sheets. Dirty shower. Dirty floor
- 4/5
An older hotel but clean and efficient. Great value
- 3/5
The hotel staff & the breakfast options were fine. The hotel itself seems a bit outdated & could use some updates. There was something going on with the 1st floor hallway with a possible water leak as there was a dehumidifier in the hall. Room 115 had some wall damage & the bathroom sink needs some serious Liquid Plumber help as it had poor drainage. Had an item fall behind the TV stand & it came out al dusty. There was an old coffee cup back there as well. Doesn't appear it has been cleaned in a while. Thankfully there were four pillows on the bed as I have not seen pillows that small. They were the size of my forearm.
- 4/5
Good service, quiet, clean, spacious room, and breakfast… good for us!
