Nice place and room was comfy with a kitchenette. I was not renewed to stay because I had a friend that was banned and didn't tell me come to my room to get a coke and some extra food I had then as I was gone to Walmart to get a new phone after that and they had called me to tell me they weren't renewing me but I didn't get their message till I got back to room on room phone they called because I had to activate new phone. They told me I had to leave because of that and I had just renewed to stay till day after Christmas and they said they cancelled it but still charged me I still haven't gotten refunded as of this date and they gave me 15 minutes to pack up my room and I had my clothes in drawers and food in kitchen and my dishes in kitchen and my bathroom stuff...that was impossible and they called the police since it took me 30 minutes longer to pack all my stuff...the police officers, and a long time resident, even told me they were being unreasonable but the officers had to do what they were called there for and escort me off property no blame on them they were nice and helped me get the last few things out of my room...an hour would have been reasonable I had already stayed there 7 days with no issues and if they would have told me not to have my friend in hotel again that would have been reasonable. But, unreasonably, and not politely they made me take all my stuff off their property and banned me. I DID NOT KNOW THAT SHE WAS BANNED AND THEY TOLD ME THEY CANCELLED RESERVATION BUT NO REFUND AS OF YET??? THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ME THE CHANCE TO KNOW SHE WAS BANNED AND SHOW THEM I WAS UPSTANDING AND A LOTTLE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TOO ESPECIALLY SINCE IT WAS MY FIRST CHRISTMAS ALONE WITHOUT FAMILY. I have forgiven them for being scrooges but they owe me a refund!!!

I recommend this place for the friendly staff and cleanness comfortable rooms.
- 2/5
Unfortunately the room had a slight musty smell to it but the staff brought in a dehumidifier that helped the situation.
- 5/5
I was a little nervous about my stay…. But when I got there I was surprised the room was spacious and very comfortable the room was clean… very quiet…. The front desk ladies where amazing… I will definitely be back in the future…
- 5/5
Spacious suite with a nice, stocked kitchenette. Plenty of room and helpful additions for a family of 4 with 2 small children to spread out after a long drive.
- 2/5
I was not provided the room I booked, only one full bed. While folding out the sofa bed it was full of crumbs. The shampoo and conditioner were both empty and the hand soap bar was already open. The staff was rude at check in, and when I had to go ask for the required dressings for the bed, I was called I lost for not looking in the closet first, after explaining I had already checked there. The air freshener was far too strong, but the rest of the floor smelled like cigarettes and weed so, they are probably just hiding that. If I could have found another available room (with the two queen beds I had originally booked) in the area, I would have left immediately, but just didn’t have it in me after driving 12 straight hours.
- 4/5
We only stayed one night as we were driving 18 hours and wanted a place to sleep halfway through. We got there at 1am and a I did not expect the room to be as spacious as it was (there were 5 of us) or to have a small kitchen. The rooms were clean. The front desk was so friendly.
- 1/5
Horrible experience toilet didn’t flush dirty dishes left in dishwasher and mold the paint was peeling off the walls of the ceiling and their were bugs on the bed
- 3/5
This property is clearly on the older side and it shows in the condition of the rooms, furniture and building interior. Staff was friendly and helpful and I could tell they worked on cleaning well. I was disappointed to see there wasn’t a pool, even though Expedia says this is one of their amenities. Also, our room had a musty smell, which was frustrating and gave the feel that perhaps it wasn’t super clean, but the hallways and bedding all smelled fresh etc, so i think overall it was the condition of the property itself. There was rust on the bathroom hardware, etc. I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again, but it’s a budget option that if you’re ok with a more worn property, is fine. Again, staff was very friendly and overall, the property, though a bit worn was clean and offered comfortable beds and our room had a workable kitchen, which was great, and housed our family of 5 comfortably.
- 4/5
Veronica was great. Great room for the money. Bed was comfortable. Nice to have fridge and microwave in the room
- 2/5
Service and employees were very nice, but room seemed very dirty and handles/remotes were sticky. Could hear conversations outside our door and the vibe was just a dungeon dirty feeling.
- 5/5
Was very nice
- 5/5
It was great staying there
- 5/5
House keeping and the front desk lady were very good
- 3/5
Stayed here while my daughter had a softball tournament. Staff was helpful, and the room eas very spacious! Would recommend! Could have been a little cleaner, but for only two days it was fine.
- 1/5
Check in was fine. Hotel room just looked dirty. There was a panel to the showers plumbing off on the floor. The sliding door to the bathroom gets stuck and was greasy/dirty. Bed and linens were clean but bed was like a rock with bad pillows.
- 1/5
This property was rated 7.8 on Expedia. It was more like a 5. (If that) Staff was horrible. We arrived late as we are on a road trip. Lady acted like I was bothering her that she had to check me in. Didn’t ask to see an ID. I think she said about 4 words to me the entire process. When we got to the room, there were no sheets, pillows or blankets for the pull out couch. The lady behind the desk acted like she didn’t believe my husband when he told her there were no sheets for the pull out. She came him one flimsy sheet, no fitted sheet, and no blanket. My kids had to use blankets they brought from home. The bathroom door had no door handle. It was a slide door, the part you grab to slide was gone. It was just a big hole in the door. The bathroom cabinets were beat up like someone had gotten angry and hit/kicked them. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Will recommend to people in future

Good for the price. Had to provide our own shower stuff.
- 4/5
This is a recently updated extended stay property in a central location near every imaginable shopping and dining option. All the conveniences of home with an extremely comfortable bed and kitchen that has a full size fridge and dishwasher. Nice hot water, toiletries and coffee. Unfortunately, housekeeping is overlooking some cleaning details as the pots were dirty and could be upgraded. Free parking on a quiet lot but, keep your head in a swivel as the surrounding area is littered with loitering. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Recommend visiting Tennessee Aquarium and Maple Street Biscuits
- 5/5
Nice large area with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Will definitely be back
- 2/5
Not impressed, for the cost expected better.
- 3/5
The Stay was so-so, the TV was blurry and the room was strangely configured.
- 4/5
Wasn’t expecting much given the location/cost/age of establishment plus finding one room to accommodate a family of six doesn’t always work out so well. Although the property is older as well as the furnishings, the pull out bed was a good size to fit two younger children and actually comfortable. Also the bedding seemed higher end and the double sized beds were the most comfortable of a hotel stay I’ve had in quite some time.
- 4/5
I liked the big walk in shower with a shower chair
- 3/5
The room was very worn out. Walls were very thin and could hear the next room clearly. The carpet looked clean but the sofa was filthy. The bed was clean and comfortable. Definitely stayed in cleaner places but it wasn't the worst. We were only there for less than 12 hours so it served it's purpose.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and location.

- 5/5
Very nice place tro stay
- 1/5
Front desk staff, not so friendly and don’t know what they’re doing. Gave us our key and we had to walk back down because our key didn’t work (light was red). House-keeping/Front desk will begin kicking you out before check out time. Wouldn’t prefer coming back.
- 1/5
The room was filthy, said it was cleaned but it was not. Food on the floor, bathroom dirty. Some front staff were miserable. The hotel is very run down. We felt very unsafe, we left before the sun came up after a very poor sleep.
- 5/5
This is our first time at a MainStay Suite hotel. It was great. We were enjoying a weekend getaway, just to run around away from home (about 2 hours away) and chose this hotel, because it was close to the mall and the north side of Chattanooga. We ran around the Aquarium / Riverfront area all day and hit the mall up the next day. We were very pleased with our room and our stay.

Small parkinglot but effective spaces, there's also additional parking within a comfortable walking distance. Trolley carts provided at front entrance. A toaster, duel-burner stove top, coffee maker, dishwasher, as well as eating/cooking utensils were provided in our room. We had a ground floor room and was able to open both large windows in our room to enjoy the fresh air. Central heat & air wall thermostat and a below window air conditioner unit were available to acess in the room as well. Spacious storage yet cozy atmosphere. Staff was very realistic and friendly to communicate with. A Texas Roadhouse is right above the parking lot, recommend placing a pick up order 25-30mins before you're ready to eat, my family order as we arrived, were able to get unpacked and comfortable before taking a quick walk through the parking lot to pick up our food. Or we had the option of both being able to enjoy a few alcoholic beverages without having to drive or find safe transportation by simply walking back. Will definitely be staying again.
- 3/5
The pillows were pretty flat. No breakfast and the water in the room tasted terrible- and I’m not picky. It would have been nice to have a couple bottles of complementary water. Some sort of light easy breakfast even- would have been appreciated for $115 in a 2 star hotel. The showers were nice and hot.
- 5/5
Quick check in. Mostly updated large suite Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Jessica at front desk was amazing! My stay was great!
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff, good location, reasonable price, comfortable bed, spotless but older slightly worn bathroom. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Wish the room had two chairs (for two people) but the room was good. We had a toilet that leaked into the bowl causing the tank to refill about every 10 minutes and the bathtub had a rather drippy leak in the faucet but nothing that couldn't be fixed in 10 minutes with a good maintenance person. We had a good stay
- 2/5
The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, but the kitchen was very dated and black, and the counter was way too long and cheaper than Ikea's worst model. It honestly felt like I was sleeping in my kitchen AND office. NO ATMOSPHERE. The hallways on my floor stunk of people cooking fried food. My door didn't have a safety lock. My phone was dead. I asked to switch rooms, and they were very accommodating, but the night clerk wasn't particularly friendly and told me he'd never heard of safety locks on doors. The second room had a lock and phone that worked, but the atmosphere was the same. The location was 20 minutes from downtown, so it was also inconvenient.
- 5/5
Stay was great, except it was very hard to pull the bathroom door shut. Also, our ice bucket had a hole in the bottom of it We we’re supposed to have a queen size bed looked and felt more like a full size. Other than these minor things. Stay was awesome! Room was clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay here again!!!!!!!
- 4/5
The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen and appliances were clean. The general decor was ok. Nothing super-fancy, but nice. Only issue was the age of the pull out couch. The mattress was comfortable. Slept very well. But, the age of that couch looked a bit worn. Should be re-upholstered or replaced.
- 4/5
Mainstay-Chattanooga provided excellent value. It's a good location and the staff was very helpful. Clean room, and they honored all of my requests, especially providing a room that faced away from the interstate...!
- 5/5
Older property but clean . Beds clean and comfortable. Texas Roadhouse in same parking lot …Downside Small tv but ok for one night we stayed
- 5/5
Smallish, but kitchen was great. Bed was comfortable. Clean and nice people. Good stay.
- 4/5
The suite was nice and cozy with the sofa sleeper, I did not like being charged for the room and a holding fee.
- 5/5
Me and my children took a weekend trip for my birthday, just a last minute getaway, and was very impressed with the accommodations and the staff. We took full advantage of the full size fridge, stove eyes, dishwasher, and dishes provided.
- 1/5
I didn't like the cockroach I had to kill running around the kitchen counter
- 5/5
Great hotel to stop at. We checked in late and left early but beds were very comfortable. It was just what we needed.
- 2/5
There was used soap in the shower. The areas between the chair and tv was not vacuumed from the last guests, there was dust and debris in a large section. Our room was run down and part of the lock for our door was missing. If we weren’t passing through on a long road trip, just staying to sleep, we would have left and gone to a different hotel.
- 3/5
No breakfast and not the cleanest hotel we've stayed at.
- 5/5
Easy access interstate and staff was super kind
- 4/5
Very quiet, staff professional and helpful and great location. The room served its purpose. Furniture could be updated. A cleaner couch/chair would be nice.
- 4/5
Easy check-in at midnight, sweet clerk. The room she gave us had a cigarette smell. They had tried to use deodorizer, but that didn't work. They graciously moved us to another room and it smelled much better. It is an older hotel and has been redone. It is as clean as you can make an older place. Still, you could see paint dings, power panel by the door, and horrid drapes. The bed was a little hard. It was fine for the few hours we stayed there. I wouldn't choose it for a long time stay.
- 3/5
Check in was quick and easy, very nice guy working the desk. The room was good for the price paid, some things were slightly dated but cleanliness was good. There's lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
Had king room for only one night but would definitely choose same hotel if more than one night as kitchenette would definitely be an assest.
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Night staff was very friendly and very helpful. Very clean too!!! Would stay there again!
- 4/5
it is ok, clean and good for short stay
- 5/5
Loved our overnight stay!
- 4/5
PS they do charge $2 for safe fee every night you stay whether you use it or not
- 5/5
Extremely nice facility. Convenient to restaurants and the freeway. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
Very good location, nice services and clean and really comfortable for a family of 5
- 5/5
The Room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Will stay at an Mainstay Suites again
- 2/5
It was ok
- 5/5
It was a nice stay. We only needed to stop for a few hours to sleep on the way home to Ohio from Florida. Seems like a nice area. It was very quiet. We had no issues. Front desk staff was very nice and check in was easy. The only thing I would warn about, is when taking a shower, the entire floor got soaked due to the weird locker room showers they have. But I understand it due to needing to be handicap accessible.
- 5/5
we was very pleased with the hotel itself and the room was in excellent condition everything was clean. The only thing was the beds didn't seem like a queen size bed!
- 2/5
They do not clean on weekends, there was not an adequate amount of cookware to cook a meal. All the plugs are upside down and charges do not stay in the plugs. There is a pitcher and it was cracked. We called and they described the grab and go breakfast but it was those items were not available
- 5/5
The only thing I didn't like was the none smoking rooms BT all in all I loved the rooms the staff the property. The staff was so very nice and helpful I would always wanna book here it's like they were my family they made me feel at home.
- 5/5
Easy access from interstate. Nice kitchenette facilities
- 5/5
Was very pleased with room and breakfast.was more than I expected
- 4/5
SEEMED LIKE AN OLDER HOTEL BUT VERY CLEAN AND KEPT UP
- 4/5
The room is very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great stay for the money.
- 5/5
Stayed here 3 days to visit Ruby Falls, Rock City & Inclined Railway on our way to meet family for our family vacation in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tennessee. Awesome hotel!!!!
- 4/5
For the price it was very good. Front desk was very nice. It was a big room .
- 2/5
Found a bed bug in one of our rooms. My nephew had several bites. Disappointing that the property has no pool. Free admission to the local YMCA is offered, but requires an off property trip :(
- 1/5
Also was listed as a queen bed, but seemed to be more like a full size.
- 3/5
I didnt like parking across from the hotel at a restaurant because parking lot was full. Didnt sleep well because you can hear doors slamming all night and people talking in the halls. It served the purpose for one night but i wouldnt stay there again. However check in went smooth and the room was nice and clean.
- 4/5
Main entrance door was locked because attendant was in dispose. Would think you would be allowed to at least wait in the lobby for their return
- 5/5
I can’t say anything negative about this hotel! The staff was great! The room was EXACTLY what I needed. The continental breakfast every morning was great and helped me start my day. The biggest thing about this hotel is the staff. Some of the nicest and greatest staff I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and I will be coming back!
- 1/5
Didn’t like much about this property. I wouldn’t stay here again.
- 4/5
Needed a place to sleep on way to Florida. Room was clean. Breakfast was so-so.
- 3/5
The price is high for the quality of room. The facility is old and in need of refurbishing.
- 4/5
I had a late check in and called ahead - they were accommodating to us! Very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
One of our room smelled like smoke they did give us a fan to put in there
- 4/5
The rooms were cleaned the staff was great close to town an restaurant
- 2/5
The property is loud and not relaxing. The rooms had no hair dryer and were less than desirable.
- 4/5
Excellent breakfast. Property in good shape. Room was as expected for this price range.
- 5/5
The sofa in our suite sagged in the middle and was very uncomfortable to sit in. Otherwise this was a great facility!
- 3/5
The bathroom faucet was loose. The water in the kitchen sink didn't work. The couch was super hard.
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel. Small and there was some damage to the bathroom door. kitchen sink did not work and kitchen light had a delay. We did not use these amenities but checked to see if they worked. Otherwise it was a decent hotel for the price
- 4/5
Cute hotel. Front counter staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurant choices nearby.
- 5/5
Good stay. Excellent staff. Good room layout Would be great if they added a pool and hot tub.
- 2/5
Room keys never worked. Had to get desk to open door each time to get in. House keeping never came even though I requested.
- 3/5
Location has area squatters, uh freelance night workers, and carside pharmacy offerings. Even the night manager suggested that I move my car closer to the building in case an issue happened so the cameras would be more helpful. Ouch. I missed the mark on this one. Normally I do a bit of research, even see the location on google earth to get a better feel for the property. Location wise, its great. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Just off major highways for easy access. Breakfast was only ok. Standard waffles and frozen sausage patties fare. Nothing great. Room was quite dated but they are renovating. Not sure if I would stay again.
- 2/5
The staff was so nice but the hotel is “tired” in every way. The lobby smelled of deodorizer and the room smelled like a bag of dertios. I won’t be staying at a Mainstay Suite again.
- 2/5
It is bad need of updating the appliances were old and damaged blankets sheets and mattress were severely stained hotel room overall was run down hallway and stairs were dirty with mud. would not recommend to anyone needless to say none of us could sleep
- 5/5
Very good and the young lady at desk was very sweet to my son and I
