    Unfortunately, the room we booked on Hotels.com was unavailable when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel provided an alternative we agreed to, because we had not other option. After the booking issue, we had to change our rooms two additional times. The manager met us at the first room with keys to a new room for an unknown reason. The AC unit had been leaking water in the second room. We finally got into our third new room. It was clean, quiet and dry.

    Dislike the front desk day staff. He was rude or never at the desk. Waited 15 minutes to check out as we needed a printed receipt, he never came to the desk. Breakfast food was disgusting. Bread and bagels stale, hard as rocks. Cold eggs, cold turkey sausage. No jelly for anything or butter. Will not be back nor recommend. There we're 4 other rooms waiting at the desk as well. Not just us

    It’s a nice hotel. We stay frequently. I don’t like that the ice machines are only on two of the five floors. The location signage is very poor too. I always have to search for ice and usually end up asking at the front desk.

    The staff was very accommodating, especially Ishmael. We asked for a Keurig for our room and they bought up one. But they had fresh coffee all day in the breakfast area. Our microwave was not working so they replaced it. The bed was very comfortable. and it was pretty quiet. The breakfast was hot and a different variety each day.

    Had to call the front desk to get a coffee maker in our room. Was told that they are no longer provided in the rooms. Also, there is no ice machine on floor five. Our room was on five. Took our ice bucket downstairs to the lobby. Was told that the ice machines are only on floors 2,3 & 4! :-(

    The swimming pool is cold non-heated. Plus I thought they had a hot tub but they did not. There's different Holiday inns in the area and I may have had them mixed up. The food that they have is basically Continental. The hot food that they serve was not hot and they only serve till 9:30 in the morning.

    It was very disturbing not to have elevators with the licensing permit hanging. The elevators bounced when you got on and off. Heard from several individuals they were stuck on the elevators because they didn't work correctly. Had a few issues in each of the two rooms that I booked. For the age of this hotel I thought it would be in better shape than this.

    Upon arrival, the staff said I had not prepaid for the room, I said I have a receipt for paying online. The staff continued ‘you did not prepay for the room’ then with no confirmation they found my booking. The original charge on the screen was $524, and with no apology or recognition, the charge changed to the accident fee of $25. This was both a hassle and embarrassing for me and my children, as there were other guests trying to check in and the lady had not been discreet telling me (wrongly) ‘ You did NOT prepay for the room’ The bath has damage, stained and cracked around the plug hole. The noise at night from the highway isn’t the hotels fault but guests should know you will hear each loud truck pass by. I had asked in the special requests section online for a room on a top floor, and maybe they were booked up, or maybe the lady didn’t want to acquiesce, but we were put on the 2nd floor. My children ate the prepackaged muffins for breakfast, as the waffle station was closed. I gave a favorable star rating but I would stay in a different hotel if we visited Chattanooga again.

    Nice hotel, great location. Minutes away from Lookout mountain depending on what side of the hotel you’re on, you can look out the window and see the mountain. Cracker Barrel is within walking distance and the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating.

    My family and I booked a room that sleeps 6. When we arrived, the bathroom had mold stains in the shower ceiling, a permanent brown stain in the tub, and a strong stale odor in the room. We could not even shower in the bathroom. When I notified the front desk, the attendant casually said the stain was “from people working in the tub,” as if that made it acceptable. To their credit, they did eventually switch us to another room to accommodate us — however, the general manager’s people skills were extremely poor. She initially told us we would not be charged for the extra room, yet I later saw the charge pending on my bank account. When I brought it to her attention, her response was simply: “Oh, it’s gonna fall off.” There was no apology, no professional communication, and no reassurance — just a dismissive attitude. For the price we pay to stay here, cleanliness and respectful customer service should not be optional. The room conditions were unacceptable and the way management handled the situation was even worse. I would not recommend this hotel until they address both their cleanliness standards and their customer service training.

    There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, dusty vents, and a strong smell in our room. A worker quit/was fired as we arrived and we had to wait for someone to come check us in. Food was subpar. Burned toast set off fire alarm at 7:30 am but no one knew how to get into the room to shut it off. We were told that they would not be making any more breakfast after that. There was 1 nice worker. Try another hotel.

    We stayed at this same hotel a couple of years ago, and it was fine. I dont know what happened but it was completely filthy and absolutely gross. Our bathroom floor had muddy foot prints on it and the shower looked like it had been worked on and never cleaned up after. We were exhausted and just wanted to rest and get out quick! Never again.. This hotel certainly not up to the standards we are use to!

    Pretty good stay. Very comfortable beds and room with good air conditioning. Breakfast is ok but happy that it is offered. My only complaint is that they gave us a room with a toilet with no way to flush it. The knob/ handle was missing and there was no way to push or turn it. We tried to lift the lid to flush and couldn’t do that either. We would have asked to switch rooms but we were there for only one night and didn’t discover the problem until 11pm anyways.

    Everything was ok until we pulled back our sheets to hair and then told they would take some money off the room since it was $182 and looked like there was small black dog hairs all over our bed. We had to change our bedsheets at 10:30 ourselves because it was covered in gross hairs. Very disappointing

Very hot during our stay and apparantly the wall unit ac had leaked into the carpet. we were treated to a large wet carpet area near it with a small fan on the floor attempting to dry it out.     The room was okay. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Several of the electric outlets didn’t work. A ottoman was being used to hold up a piece of panel underneath the shelf between the beds that was broken and falling away from the wall. When I checked out they charged my card almost $500.00 over the amount of my bill. The bill was paid full prior to check in.

    From the moment we stepped into our room, we were hit with a heavy, muggy atmosphere and poor ventilation. It felt dirty and neglected. The bathroom was the worst of all—mold on the ceiling and around the bathtub area, posing a serious health risk. My son, who suffers from severe asthma, had a triggered episode due to the conditions in the room. This is beyond unacceptable. When I brought these concerns to the front desk, the only response I received was, “We just took over the property 30 days ago.” No offer to make things right, no accountability, no compassion—just excuses. As if that wasn’t enough, we ended up experiencing food poisoning from the complimentary breakfast the next morning. This wasn’t just a bad stay—it was a complete violation of basic health and safety standards. This property should not be open to the public until it undergoes a full inspection and renovation. It is a hazard to guests and a stain on the hospitality industry. Avoid this place at all costs.

    Staff at check-in were very helpful in correcting a mistake I made in booking. Room and whole facility was very clean.     As soon as we got to our room, someone had to be called to help us get the door unlatched from the outside to even be able to walk in. The bed is not very comfy at all. The fridge isn’t very cold; the tv remote is basically garbage. Only the guide & channel buttons worked. Had to turn it off & on by pushing the button on the tv. The room was very noisy (could hear everything around & above us). This should’ve cost less than $100 or barely over. It definitely was worth $200!! Overall I’m very dissatisfied!!

    The room and hallway on the 4th floor smelled very musty. The gym smelled horribly musty. There was no remote for the tv in the room but stff brought us one ina timely manner. We did not have washcloths in the room. The phone ws dead. The bed was comfortable. There was hot water for showers. Nice view. I spoke with staffon checking and she apologized for the smell, but offered no discount or refund. I wont be staying here again.

    This was my worst experience at an IHG property. The first room I had, had mold all over the ceiling in the bath room. The shower curtain would not close at all. The pull out couch was extremely heavy and was pushed so close to the bed we could barely get the covers down. The remote control was not working only the volume button. Lastly the room was never cleaned properly. There were kids toys and bottle caps in the floor around the pull out couch. I addressed all issues and was given a new room due to the mold. Next day rooms were switched. New room was not much better. The bathroom was better in the new room. The remote worked but this room did not allow for my kid to plug up his game. The outlets between the beds did not work. We moved the square cushioned ottoman that can be used as a seat (it was pushed under the table between the beds) just in case we needed to plug something up and the whole wall fell. We had to push the ottoman back because it was holding up the wall. The staff is aware of all incidents. All I was told I’m sorry we just took over the property.

    I was driving back home from Asheville and was just too tired to make the rest of the drive - plus, some nasty weather was rolling in. This hotel was everything I needed for one night- right off the freeway, free parking, hot breakfast. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly, especially the two ladies working the front desk and breakfast area in the morning. They made sure I was good to go with water and coffee before I hit the road. I will definitely stay here again.

    The hotel was quiet and we slept very well. The room was clean. We enjoyed the blackout blinds. The breakfast was not good (awful) so we ended up eating at Cracker Barrel across the parking lot. The bathroom had only the mirror light for lighting. There was a light over the tub/shower but there was no way to turn it on. There was no fan in the bathroom so the mirror stayed wet for a long time. Most likely next time we will stay at a different hotel.

    We had a shower that would not turn off at 7pm, they said we could move, we had 4 kids that were asleep so we didn't move. The next day we headed out for 6 hours came back and it still wasn't fixed, water was still running, so we packed up and moved to a different room for one night. Checked out the next day and it was fixed

    The staff was extremely helpful and friendly from my understanding, they have just overtaken this property. There was mold on a few things, and the bathrooms were not great. But they made it right. Otherwise, it was an easy location to attractions and a good breakfast. Pool was very small.

    Glad to have this opportunity to express how awful the mattress was. Very worn out. My husband and I felt like we were sleeping in a soup bowl. All night you felt like you had to climb out of a hole. I paid extra money for an upgrade and to have a corner with a view. There was no view. The mountains was so far to the left, you could not see them from the window with your head pressed against it. You see parking lot, front window, and trees blocking a road from the other window. The bathroom sink was stopped up. I got out an extra blanket from closet because I get cold at night and it had spots and make up on it so I didn’t use it. $225 is a lot to pay and get no rest. Decor is nice, but that doesn’t help anything for the necessities of a stay. The only thing I wanted for breakfast was the oatmeal and it was solid clump. My husband said egg sausage and gravy was good.

    The hotel is located close to the highway, which was real nice. There were some nice restaurants nearby. However, cleanliness in the bathroom was left wanting. There were some water stains on the floor under the sink. There was hair in the corner behind the door and there was mildew around the tub edge and walls. And also there was a yellow/orange dried puddle under the toilet where that screw goes to hold it down.

    The front desk staff wasn’t rude, but definitely not welcoming either. The pool is much smaller than the photos suggest, ranging from only 3 to 5 feet, which was a letdown. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing—especially the biscuits, which were hard as a rock. On top of that, the trash bins outside were overflowing, giving a poor first impression. While the location itself feels a bit isolated, there is a Walmart and Dollar Tree a short drive away. Sadly, these small conveniences didn’t outweigh the negatives. I would not recommend this property based on my experience.

    We stayed twice in a week on a trip to Florida. The first stay wasn’t so great. The bath tub was dirty. Our room was right by the elevator and pool and was loud all night. The door didn’t close properly which was a bit scary. The second stay was much better. The receptionist was way kinder and our room was better. Bath tub was also dirty.

    Easy check in and a great breakfast lady who kept everything clean and full. However the bed was uncomfortable. Sagging in the middle and needs to be replaced. The shower did not have hot water, it was just luke warm. If those items were fixed it would have been a 5 star stay

    Very clean and convenient to the places we were there to see. Friendly staff! Shower curtain didn’t quite fit right so there was a flood of water on floor when you showered. Cleaning staff came in while we were out and did not close our door all the way or didn’t make sure door was closed. Nothing was missing. Just did not like the fact we came back to an open door. We would stay again.

    Food was good, service good, beds comfortable. However the road noise was, loud! The hotel walls were terrible you could hear the neighbors turn on the sink, shower and flush so not sound insulation. Bring your ear plugs!
