Very good
- 4/5
Nice stay with great views
- 3/5
The breakfast, checkout time of 12 noon, and the price were all great and the staff were professional and helpful. The beds however were TERRIBLY uncomfortable. The pillows were akin to sleeping on a folded up Tshirt and the mattress…I would have been more comfortable on the floor. Also the sheets didn’t fit the bed. So the location, price, staff, property overall and breakfast were great but our stay was long enough that the poor sleep due to beds made it significant enough of a problem not to return on future stays longer than an overnight.

Kelly was wonderful! Great stay!
- 2.5/5
The immediate area location was clean and safe. It is what i expected for a Hampton in. Nothing great but good for 1 night. Right across street for Walmart. Beds were uncomfortable. A/c was not cold enough for me. Under staffed, 1 guy checked us in while also running items to other guest rooms. He was working hard during a full occupancy night. Dog friendly, so expect to hear dogs barking, I did, at 3am.

The room was clean & comfortable. Very spacious & had a lovely view of the local mountains. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly. If you don't sign up for some special hotel rewards program, you can't get free Wi-Fi. The bed was very creaky.

This hotel is in the perfect location and it is wonderful for children. The pool slide was a major hit with the kids and I loved the ability to check out games from the lobby. Breakfast was also really good. We really enjoyed our stay here.
- 4/5
Typical Hampton Inn, not bad but not exceptional either.
- 5/5
This was the perfect place to stop for a night on our drive north. Beautiful elevated setting with benches and picnic tables scattered around the property. Pool area is definitely a step up from the hotel pool norm. Ample parking, places to eat nearby, clean well laid out room with comfy bed, good breakfast… didn’t have many negatives to mention!
- 5/5
Fast check in Dog Friendly "Karl the dog" loved his brief stay

Upon our arrival we met "Kelli" the hostess who was very affable and efficient. She quickly set up our entry cards and got us to our room. The facility is very nice, clean and well maintained. We stay here whenever we are traveling out west.
- 5/5
Had a great breakfest with good variety!
- 2/5
The refrigerator did not get cold enough to freeze your ice packs or keep your drinks cold The heat and air unit is dumb don’t come on till you in room so room is hot and gotta wake up to do a dang dance to make come back on in middle of night and pillows like a sack with a cotton ball

Clean rooms
- 5/5
Generally a nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff,
- 5/5
This area has little traffic, so it’s a very convenient location for visiting places like Ruby Falls.
- 3/5
Property has an excellent location. It’s just a little dated in the rooms and public areas.
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 5/5
Fantastic all around
- 4/5
Room was clean enough, there was a little mold in the shower and the conditioner bottle was empty. The indoor pool was out of order and the waffle machines weren't working at breakfast. The beds felt like they were made of cardboard but the pillows were nice. Front desk clerks were very friendly. Lots of highway noise so if that bothers you bring earplugs. We were on the top floor so I'm sure that made it worse but it was constant all night long.
- 2/5
Bed was broken, no one could sleep, so we left in the middle of the night. Also the shower was falling apart.
- 5/5
Everything good
- 5/5
Comfortable beds and very clean and organized overall!
- 4/5
Beds were comfortable, room was clean and breakfast was delicious. Gym is phenomenal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative was the air conditioning. Room was hot and stuffy unless it was set to 65, freezing while running stuffy when off
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and fresh. The staff was extremely friendly.
- 5/5
Room was clean and stocked well with toiletries. The room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Our granddaughter loved the pool. We did not make it down for breakfast. Close proximity to Ruby Falls, Rock City & incline railway and short drive to the Aquarium.
- 5/5
The staff was helpful to a weary traveler. The room was clean and quiet and I slept soundly.
- 5/5
Great hotel with nice amenities. Clean and well stocked.
- 5/5
The guy at the front desk (Hank I think?) was super friendly and welcoming. Room was great, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious. My only complaint would be that the room doors slam shut, so I was woken up in the morning by guests and/or housekeeping going in and out of the rooms. Still, very nice hotel and convenient location. Would stay again.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was filling. The front desk and housekeeping staff were nice. Our room was clean as well as the common areas.
- 3/5
Property could use a few upgrades such as shower rails being fixed, carpet stains cleaned and definitely needs new mattresses. Other than that, it was pretty good. Indoor pool & fitness center was nice.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Great space, clean and great staff
- 5/5

Room was very clean. It was quiet and the staff was friendly
- 5/5
Great location, Ruby Falls and Rock city within 10-15 minutes drive, several restaurants and walmart within 5 minutes drive, many gas stations around, safe area, plenty of free parking, nice friendly and helpful staff, clean, quiet comfortable room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, good amenities, clean bathroom, no hot water problem, Airconditioner/heater worked well. Will stay again.
- 3/5
Better coffee
- 5/5
Overall nice hotel. Business suite is not completed for computer access.
- 4/5
Great hotel, we enjoyed our stay. However we were disappointed that there was no housekeeping service on New Year’s Day. This should have been disclosed in advance and the room rate should have been adjusted
- 5/5
The lady that checked us in yesterday evening was the absolute BEST! So friendly, kind and personable. She knew the kids were itching to swim and told them the swim hours before I had to ask and also knew we wanted to know what breakfast times were. She made our stay (and I wish I remembered her name!)
- 5/5
Great room, amenities, dog friendly, and staff!
- 5/5
The front desk staff were exceptional in their knowledge and understanding of my personal situation. They helped me with grace and kindness! I definitely will be a happy returning customer and highly recommend this fine establishment! Memories made here as well. Try them today!
- 3/5
The A/C wasn’t working in our room but after a while they moved us to another room. Someone in a room near us kept going in and out of their room slamming the door at least 7 times waking us up during the night. . The bed wasn’t very comfortable but the staff assisting with our stay was very helpful & polite.
- 5/5
The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were all very nice. The breakfast was excellent as well. The next time I’m in Chattanooga, I will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful!
- 3/5
Room was old & tired looking. Bedding looked clean but frayed & worn out.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly
- 1/5
Breakfast was terrible. Everything was several days old.
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous
- 5/5
All was good except for the constant pool pump buzzing/humming that could be heard in our 2 nd floor room
- 5/5
Clean room. Great breakfast. Will continue to stay here yearly as we drive from Louisiana to Gatlinburg.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean.

Staff was great to chat with upon arrival. Check in was simple and quick. Room was very clean. Down side, we selected this hotel for the inside pool and learned once we were heading down to it that the pool is closed. Other then that, a very nice stay
- 5/5
Great staff, clean room, quiet, great breakfast.
- 3/5
Had to wait 10 min at the desk to check in the person was no where to be found and charged me $75 for my non shedding non smelly dog at 8pm when we went to check out at 7am no one was at the desk again.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly!
- 4/5
The hotel is close to the freeway so it has noise.
- 5/5
Had a room problem and the staff was very helpful. TV wouldn’t work.
- 5/5
Easy check in, friendly staff, clean room!
- 5/5
Yes the rooms were clean and the whole staff was very nice and friendly
- 3/5
Bed was too soft and very squeaky! Bed coverings need to be updated.
- 2/5
Entire night was terrible. Bathroom also smelled like bleach and ? chlorine?
- 5/5
Very clean. Great place to stay.
- 5/5
If waffles are a health food, I'm very healthy.
- 5/5
Clean room, spacious, great service from employees, free breakfast and parking
- 2/5
Being disabled i asked for the closest room to the lobby. I got the 2nd farthest room from the elevator on the 3rd floor. They have as many EV and rewards parking spots as disabled, which is 2! Nice hotel but mot vwy accomadating for the disabled.
- 4/5
We did not receive the WiFi password. It was a nice hotel however and we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Close to activities, clean, convenient
- 1/5
Still waiting to check in.
- 2/5
pillows were awful and air conditioning would only allow it so low, did not sleep well because the room was warm; for $250/night, I would expect more, and the size of the room was underwhelming; I’ve stayed in less expensive hotels that were nicer.
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing, they offered cookies at night. Super clean. Staff was awesome.
- 5/5
The indoor pool was a little less cold than the outside pool but wouldn't consider it heated. I heard other families complain about it too!
- 5/5
Lovely clean room
- 5/5
Smells like it is brand new.
- 5/5
Very nice room and wonderful breakfast. Close to Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls.
- 3/5
Rooms needed deep cleaning. Toilets had build up around seat and base. Spilled coffee on walls that were given cursory wipe down. AC unit smelled very moldy. Not up to the standards of other Hampton Inns
- 4/5
kitchen short staff especially for breakfast. Empty trays and waffle batter Not refilled in a timely manner. Wait is Too long.
- 5/5
Traveling and had to have a place to stay. This was a nice hotel. Comfy bed. Staff was pleasant.
- 4/5
Standard hotel, staff was friendly but had to ask for clean towels.
- 5/5
The staff and management are always cooperative and helpful. This is a great property to stay at.
- 5/5
Great service, comfortable rooms, great view and great outdoor pool!
- 5/5
Room was very clean. No problems at all. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
Always Outstanding! We always have stayed at Hampton Inn as we did the 50 states. Always exceptional clean! Staff is always outstanding and makes you feel like family! ❤️❤️
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast and pool area. Nearby shopping plaza with Walmart.
- 5/5
Honestly, the stay was great. The beds are HARD and not comfortable at all-it was a long, sleepless night for me. We specially booked because of their outdoor pool-we have 4 kids-the outside pool has a 1ft area with a "mushroom" waterfall type thing-it did not work. The water slide was AWESOME! My 9 and 11 year old LOVED it! I enjoyed it myself too. Breakfast was fair/good. There were western omelets, chunked potatoes (they were not crispy, but very soggy), sliced kielbasa sauage, bread for toast and bagels, muffins, fruit, oatmeal-with toppings, milk-oatmilk-coconut milk and almond milk, 4 different juices, and 2 waffle makers. There was smores and vanilla flavored waffle mix. Honestly, the waffles made the whole breakfast. There were a few family friendly board games on a table in the lobby that guests were able to utilize-a first for my family!
- 5/5
This was our second time staying here. And we came back because we enjoyed it so much the first time! Great little hotel up on a hill with a great view! We came with friends and
- 4/5
Sink in bathroom drained slowly.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great location, clean, great breakfast!
- 3/5
Pros: The outdoor pool was fun! My child loved the slide! And I liked the option of the indoor pool for when it rained. The complementary continental breakfast tasted great too.
- 5/5
My husband and I came to this hotel for a weekend getaway. We were thrilled that they are a pet friendly hotel and the check in was super easy! The hotel is clean and we were happy with our room. Our only issue was the mattress was hard and the pillows go flat as soon as you put your head in them. Overall, very clean room, friendly staff and a great place to stay. We will consider this hotel again in the future if we decide to visit the area again.
- 5/5
The power had just came back on when we arrived. Even though many things were happening at once and lots of people with questions, my family was given full attention from person at front desk. He did an awesome job
- 4/5
Nice, newly renovated in May. Very welcoming evening staff member. But short a 5 star stay due to room being super warm upon entering (thermostat was set at 78 degrees), and needed several hours to cool down. Mind you, we got in after 845pm so by 11pm it only went down to 74 degrees. Difficult to fall asleep as it was still a bit warm, and there was also an odd smell in the room. Not sure if it came from plumbing or ac unit. Morning staff member was also not polite when greeted with a good morning. I guess it was too early to say hello?
- 3/5
Check-in was seemless and the gentleman at front desk (forgot his name!) was warm and was helpful with dinner suggestions. The room was clean and spacious (king room) enough for me and 2 large dogs but pillows were terrible (no neck support). The propery is small but i was still able to give my dogs a good walk if i walked down hill (there is also a community public park within .5 mile that has walking path and you can walk dogs). The breakfast was okay but i couldn't eat it both days i stayed. They didnt have staff that constantly watched over breakfast area to ensure that items stocked, food kept warm by keeping lids down, etc. I had to find staff to refill the coffee with caffeine during prime breakfast hours. The pool was awesome and i suggest you go early! Overall, we enjoyed our stay (had connecting rooms) and i would stay again.
- 5/5
Great hotel and great views
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay if you’re heading to Rock city or Ruby falls. The breakfast was great!
- 5/5
My family just stayed the Hampton Inn and Suites Lookout Mountain in the previous month, and I was mesmerized to see their luxurious accommodations. Their staff behavior is also excellent, and we would love to visit again.
- 4/5
Beautiful area. But the pool outdoors was not opwn vwry late with that vwiw is too bad
- 5/5
Nice mountain view.
- 5/5
Pool could use some help . Fairly dirty, otherwise great stay for the price.
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Thanks Hank for making us feel welcome and restaurant recommendations
- 4/5
Just a one night stay on our way to Florida. Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
This location was clean and the staffs were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast options and the set up is well-organized. The staff assigned kept the food supplies well and the breakfast area is kept clean.
- 2/5
The rooms were represented recently, updated, and renovated. In the original room could not turn down the air conditioner, and the electrical and porch for cell phones are mostly disconnected. We went to the desk in the second room. The air conditioner would not come on in the third room example was especially clean. The front desk manager were interested our concerns, even if we showed them in the rooms.
- 5/5
The hotel was very very clean!
- 5/5
Amazing. Just wish there was a hot tub.
- 5/5
Very comfortable room and easy-to-access location. Made it nice and quick to travel to Ruby Falls.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
When we arrived around midnight, we were greeted by renovation dirt on the floor in the foyer and some tracked down the hall into the elevator. Nothing warned us of the renovation and I would not have booked the hotel had I known. Someone could have made the place more tidy in the midst of working but did not.
- 3/5
We have stayed gere before and loved it. However, as the property was undergoing a full reno, the indoor pool was closed and breakfast was served in a conference room. We were able to go to the hotel next door to use pool. Breakfast selection was not as good as before...but remodeled room was wonderful
- 5/5
It was very nice
- 3/5
The lobby was under construction, the fitness center was closed, the pool was closed, the breakfast was moved to a meeting room.
- 5/5
Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel in all my life!
- 5/5
We had a nice stay here. Very clean, well maintained property. Staff was very pleasant at check-in and check-out.
- 2/5
Really missed the scrambled eggs n BACON. Grabbed a cple danish, they were 'cold' so was gonna use the microwave ... which they Didn't Have ! No 'fan' in the bathroom. On the return trip or next yr, will stay at the Holiday Inn down the street
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
overall not worth the money.
- 1/5
Very difficult check in process! Poor service.
- 5/5
Our stay here was great
- 4/5
The hotel was adequate. There were suspicious looking stains on the arm chair in the room and the overnight desk manager couldn't find my hotels.com reservation which Ive never had a problem with, he said he did a deep search with my name and couldn't find it but found it instantly after i called Hotels.com customer service and got the reservation number (this number was different than the one in my email, wish it had been in it since we tried that number). Overall the hotel was good, we really enjoyed the breakfast and the friendly staff in the breakfast area. The waffles were delicious! They also had turkey sausage, fried eggs, gravy, biscuits, toast bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and milk and any condiment you can think of.
- 5/5
I only stopped for a brief sleep and eat before heading south again. Breakfast area was clean, the usual hotel fare. Staff was excellent.
- 5/5
Hot water and water pressure were excellent in our room. Bed was comfortable and extra blanket was in the closet. Microwave is a little worn, but it works. Refrigerator also included in the room. Easy access to downtown Chattanooga. Convenient to Racoon Mountain and Lookout Mountain attractions.
- 5/5
Room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We stay here at least once a year for our trip back from Florida, and have always had a great experience!
- 5/5
It was great! Pet friendly
- 5/5
Great place for a quick stop on the way to Florida
- 5/5
Nice view of lookout mountain
- 1/5
management does not train employees on what size sheet goes on what size be, got a queen fitted stretched on a king and did not fit
- 2/5
Beds were uncomfortable and noisy. Dogs barking in the hallway.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Noise from room above us for several hours in middle of night. Didn’t get much sleep.
- 4/5
Clean room, provided toiletries when needed, good breakfast, good location, free parking
- 4/5
One of the better Hampton Inns I have stayed in.
- 4/5
Hotel is clean and has plenty of parking. Breakfast is typical Hampton Inn quality. I had the unfortunate experience of checking in right after a youth travel team checked in. They were put on the floor above me so there was quite a bit of noise coming from above from 10pm-11pm but that is no fault of the hotel.
- 3/5
Good view
- 4/5
Great views on top of the mountain.
- 3/5
Small tv. Bad mattress
- 5/5
Good location and excellent breakfast.
- 5/5
The hotel is very nice and up to date. Staff was very friendly.
- 1/5
Absolutely terrible! No buggies to carry bags to room. Mold in the shower! Experienced 3 different groups of people had STRANGERS walk into there room because the staff gave wrong rooms and key access. Tv doesn’t work. For $400 a night this is RIDICULOUS
- 5/5
Beautiful location and close to stores and restaurants.
- 2/5
The beds were too soft. The tv was difficult to use and would not turn off without pulling the plug. Property is run down and breakfast very poor.
- 5/5
We always stay here. Great staff, great rooms. Breakfast is always good. Thank you for the chicken sausage as we do not eat pork!!! Great location!!
- 5/5
The rooms were nice and comfy.
- 5/5
I loved the view over the shopping area and the base of lookout mountain. Very scenic and relaxing.
- 5/5
Easy check in - brefass was great - quite a bit of interstate noise - legit at the base of the mountain
- 5/5
I would like to thank Crystal and Izzy for outstanding customer service. I originally booked the wrong dates and Crystal was able to fix it for me!!!! Upon check in I met Izzy (?) and he could not have been more personable or friendly!!! Great hotel, gorgeous Mountain View from courtyard, excellent front desk staff!!!
- 4/5
Typical stay with decent breakfast. At least more options than usual to eat.
- 5/5
Easy check in
- 5/5
Staff were tremendous!
- 4/5
The staff was nice. The pool was awesome.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff and beautiful property! So glad we stayed here, pool area and water slide was what sealed the deal and we were not disappointed! Close to Ruby Falls and Rock City
- 5/5
Easy access to the interstate very clean property very professional employees
- 5/5
Beautiful pool area, outside sitting area, and overall property.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect and would definitely recommend your hotel to others 👍👍
- 5/5
location, safe and clean.
- 4/5
It was little difficult to locate once you were off I-24
- 5/5
Brandi at the front desk was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to make sure our stay met our expectations. She escorted us to our room to make sure it worked for me since my knee makes it hard to access certain areas. She was a bright light when we were checking out.
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Burnt out bulbs
- 5/5
The only draw back was the room was a little musty smelling. It was not enough to switch rooms, but we did report it when we checked out.
- 5/5
The view was beautiful
- 5/5
One night stay, everything was clean bed was somewhat comfy. Pillows were flat
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Tje location was perfect for our plans. Breakfast was pretty good.
- 3/5
We were pulling a uhaul & parking was very limited.
- 4/5
Stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean and comfy but the window looks out to an enclosure space on the roof, not pleasant. On the second morning, the coffee pots were empty 30 minutes before the breakfast was over. Only decaf was available. And the sausage was still warm but dried.
