Everything was fine except our bathroom. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door and it wouldn’t stay closed and it didn’t lock. The other issue we kept running into was there was no exhaust fan so the bathroom stayed VERY humid, wet & hot! The rest of the hotel was perfectly fine! Located next to a newer/upcoming area !

My only complaint was that at check in I was charged an additional $75 because we were traveling home with our dog. I was unaware of the pet fee and to me, $75 is excessive.

Hampton Inn has really got bad. Use to be very well maintained and clean.

We asked the front desk for replacement towels and trash emptying in the morning before going out. When we returned to the room, our used towels were still on the bathroom floor and the trash bin was overflowing. To her credit, the night clerk provided replacement towels. The breakfast buffet was fair. The eggs were warm, but the sausage tasted like cardboard.

Clean carpet (not sticky) in spite of the high humidity the night we arrived. Quiet hallways, clean bed. There was a towel that looked like someone had rubbed their face on and then, folded the towel and placed back on the stack. Didn’t report to staff as we were passing through the city.

Very dirty around baseboards in room. We have stayed at this same location at least a dozen times. Housekeeping has slipped a lot.

There were alot of convenient places to eat and shop at within walking distance, the waffles for the breakfast was really good, and the place was clean Despite how clean the room was, we had several lady bugs in the room by the window. They were crawling on the ceiling, wall, lamp shade, and one even fell on my fiance. The sink was either clogged or drained very slowly, which caused it to get dirty quickly. We were unable to connect to the wifi, so we had to use our data during the whole stay. Breakfast was decent, but I felt there could've been more options/ better variety. I spoke with the manager about this after checking out, and the only accommodation I received was for the wifi. I don't usually like to leave a complaint, but I felt I could've gotten a better reimbursement since I didn't fully enjoy my stay

As always, the staff at this hotel is fantastic!!! KUDOS to the front desk staff!! The one "little" thing that I have to say is that the shower a little (I mean little) bit of black in the grout. All in all, worth the money and the area is quick in quick off to 75. Area completely safe. My dog actually knows where she is when we stop on our trip for an overnight stay. Staff has treats for her. :)

Your hotel is always the best place to stay during our bi-annual trip between MO and SC. THANK YOU CRYSTAL. Thank you. The breakfast may has plenty of protein choices, and the staff that is on hand, is ALSO LOVELY. Whatever you are doing with this very reasonably priced hotel, which is very senior friendly, very pet friendly and good food options in walking distance, PLEASE KEEP THAT SECRET SAUCE to yourself.

Solid Hampton Inn

The Hampton Inn was good. There was a barn door covering the bathroom or closet with an automatic close feature that was a little concerning from a safety perspective with our 14 month-old granddaughter. Breakfast was only adequate.

The staff was very welcoming and helpul. The room was spacious and clean. Comfy bed. The free breakfast was really good with good options. The location was great. The view from the huge window in our top floor room provided my wife and I with beautiful scenery. Spending time together out on the patio with the fireplace, sippin on some java was very enjoyable. The only issue we encountered during the stay is that noise coming from outside. We could hear traffic and such, late into the night. The rooms window wasn't very sound proof. We agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stay here every time we’re in the area. This year alone we’ve stayed at least 5 times and I am yet to have a grievance at all. Great area, friendly staff and super clean. We will definitely be back soon!

Clean spacious room. Accommodated my dogs no smells noted very tidy!

Reserved a handicapped accessible room & called to make sure it had grab bars around the commode when we booked. The receptionist went to the room we were to get and verified it did. When we arrived, we were given a different room which didn't have the needed grab bars. It was a hearing & vision accessible room not a mobility accessible room, which is what we needed. Since we were staying only 1 night we didn't change rooms after we already unpacked all of our stuff, etc. The manager did offer us to be moved when we brought to his attn. I just had to use the handicapped accessible restroom in the lobby.

Experience was overall great. The shower could have been cleaner as there were hairs in the floor and we needed a trash can in the bathroom but overall good.

This hotel looked very nice online and it said pet friendly but did not indicate there was an additional fee. It was at the top of our budget but we wanted a nice comfortable place as we would be finishing up our second 10 hour day on the road. When we got to the desk to check in we were informed at that point that there was a $75/day fee for my small dog. I felt that I should have been informed of this when I made the reservation. Since I was already at my max budget point, we had to go find another hotel.

We had to book at a moments notice because of a storm that went through and knocked out the electricity in our neighborhood and cause some damage at our house. The check-in process was easy. The room was immaculate and we enjoyed the breakfast. Good coffee in the room too.

We booked and paid for two double beds as we were traveling with our grandkids. They did not have any left as they had overbooked the rooms. We had to take a king with a pullout couch. Since we had kids it worked out. But I was extremely not happy with the situation. The couch is not the same as a Qbed.

Based on prior reviews and cost I thought this would be an amazing place. It wasn't horrible but it definitely wasn't worth the money. It was extremely noisy, and the duvet cover was dirty. The sheet on the bed was too small and kept slipping off. It wasn't a restful experience. Usually Hampton Inn's are not like this.

The pool is enjoyable plus really good breakfast.

When we arrived, the person at the front desk stated that they did not have any rooms available. She worked it out and got us a room for the night. Apparently they had a room that was not yet cleaned. They put us in a clean room and, I assume, got to work cleaning the other room for travelers arriving later that evening.

We make this a stop every time we head south

We have stayed overnight here 5 times on our way back and forth to the beach. The place in clean, there are restaurant options within walking distance. The staff here are kind. They are obviously dog lovers, giving my dog extra attention at the desk and even a bone!! The ladies at the front desk loved on my dog (very large and could be interpreted as a scary breed) but she just melted for them. It is clean, very reliable, reasonably priced, good breakfast options. We will stay here every time as our mid-point between home and the SC Coast. Thank You!!!

The overall property was in a great location next to some dining options and Bass Pro. We had reserved two rooms through Expedia however only one room was showing up in the hotel’s system. The staff member was able to get us the second room without issue. The specific room we were in could have been a bit cleaner (the tile needed mopped and there was some hair in the shower/by the sink). The main dining room was clean and they offered a nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, pastries, and fresh waffles.

It was dog hair in the bed. Dog food on the floor. We had to change the sheets.

Front desk texted me quite late in evening to see if everything was ok and I would have preferred to have avoided a text that late. Sadly the work light at desk had no bulb so unable to work on laptop. Only a desk chair and 2 ottomans for seats.

The check in process was horrible! The front desk rep was rude and lazy. Guest checking in had to wait because she was never at the front desk. She was in the office behind the front desk. I can say more able her unprofessional behavior, but I won’t even waste my time. The TV wouldn’t work so we had to call maintenance several times. The floor in our room was filthy. There was dusk on the headboard, some solution on the door, mold in the tube, and damaged furniture. I am not pleased with this hotel at all.

Very convenient to Interstate I-75. Good value for comfortable rooms and good free breakfast choices. Disappointed with fair amount of black mold in shower and on the shower head. This is very noticeable and should have been removed by the room cleaning staff.

The area is nice, lots to do and great restaurants within walking distance. The downsides, the bed was extremely hard and the room is small, especially with two queen beds. It was a busy weekend, so the charge was a lot higher than normal. The breakfast was decent. Recommend..but don’t expect the Ritz Carlton.

There was several issues with cleanliness for us but management was very good about it. The first room had mattress issue so they gave us a different room! Second room I got out of the shower and reached for a towel to dry off and the towel was so dirty I almost gagged. I showed management a picture and they said they were going to get with 3rd party to get us a refund. We’ll see what happens.

The barn style door covering the bathroom/closet had no rear stop in room 301. When the roller dropped off the rail the door pinched and cut two fingers. The staff had no first aid kit but did manage to find one band aid I cut in half to cover the cuts. They weren’t deep and the injuries weren’t serious, but the experience didn’ t hit the plus column

Nice clean rooms and very comfy bed. Adjoining rooms can have thin walls as we did have to move due to loud neighbors, but ended up in non Adjoining room which was possibly the most quiet hotel room i have stayed in. Staff was super friendly

We were only at this hotel for a few hours before we moved on to our next location. The property was clean and is close to a few restaurants and shops to offer some additional dining options. Gym was a good size and had nice equipment options. Staff are also friendly.

It’s a nice hotel, the staff is friendly and it’s kept very clean. Good restaurants in walking distance and a good parking situation. The proximity to the highway and the compressor on the ice machine kept us up at night though.

I enjoyed staying at the Hampton. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast hours are very convenient. They have a variety of choices for breakfast. The air conditioning on the rooms are located at a good distance from the bed. I really recommend the Hampton Hotel.

I choose Hampton because I trust clean and good service. I am concerned because last 2 individual stays has had housekeeping knocking on my door on checkout day. With a 12:00 noon checkout absolutely no reason for a knock at 9:45. Previous stay had 2 different knocks prior to checkout time( different location )

We spent the night on our way to visit with family and friends in Illinois. (Driving from Florida.) Check in was fast and the clerk was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable with cozy beds. Breakfast was delicious and the attendant was helpful and very friendly. Another great stay at a Hampton Inn. We would highly recommend this hotel.
