Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, particularly the beds. The staff is often praised for being friendly and helpful. However, there are frequent complaints about breakfast quality and availability. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of bathrooms and common areas.

The beds were pretty lumping and the first floor had a very mildew smell to it. We honestly would like a discount on the room. For the owners knowledge, there was also water coming out from the shower handle. That will eventually cause an issue in the shower.

It was a short stay but it was nice and clean and had everything we needed on a short notice
- 4/5
Very clean, smelled great, spacious room Staff could have been friendlier

The breakfast was ok ,,got ya started,,The a/c we didn't think it cooled enough in the room.really no complaints we like the location,

My bathroom sink was 1/4 of the way pulled off the wall. Window Blinds wouldn’t go down. Everything in the room was outdated. Ironing board stained and dirty. Carport was old and worn out. Breakfast wasn’t tasty, eggs were not scrambled but in pancake rounds and sausage gravy had no taste.

It was a little hard for us to find, being older. Good value for the money.

I stayed at this hotel and was charged a hold on my credit card. When I called the hotel to resolve it, they told me the charge had been reversed already and I should contact my bank. When I called my credit card company, I was told the hotel had NOT reversed the charge — directly contradicting what the hotel staff told me. This is not a billing error — it is a matter of dishonesty .’ I was passed back and forth between the hotel and my credit card company while the charge remained on my account. I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel. If they are willing to mislead customers about unauthorized charges and refuse to own the problem, there is a serious integrity issue with how this property is managed. Stay elsewhere — there are plenty of honest hotels that treat guests with respect.

Loved the ice cold lemon infused water and 24 hour hot tea/coffee availability. Make your own Belgian waffles were perfectly done. Great breakfast selection. Close to several restaurants, shopping , and gas stations.

One of the two reasons we selected the property was of the pool only to find out it was closed. Would have stayed elsewhere if we had known. Otherwise, a nice place.

Convenient location was about all this hotel had going for it. The room was NOT clean what so ever. Booked a suite, the couch looked like it had been pulled straight out of someone’s trash, there was a used condom on the floor (the staff ended up coming into the room to get it out and disinfect as I had young kids stay with me), the fridge worked at all of 10% and didn’t keep anything cold, and there were several broken items in the room. The staff was friendly and did attempt to help fix the problem, but they said because we booked through a third party there was not much that they could do in terms of a refund. I can tell you when passing by on our way to vacations, this will not be a location I would stay again.

The outdoor pool was under repair and unusable.

Breakfast was the typical eggs, sausage, bacon, bread/bagels. They did have a waffle maker which was nice and easy to use. Our room had dead bugs in the bathroom. It was very clear that the property has been around for quite some time as there were aged parts of the building and our room even had old popcorn ceiling panels that had some small amounts of mold and rust on the metal in the bathroom. Overall not impressed.
- 2/5
The floor was sticky in our room, it was gross to walk on. I picked up the remote and was like Damn it was nasty and sticky, I grabbed a wash cloth and wiped it down-didn’t help. The pool was closed. The breakfast, well it was a hotel breakfast and that’s all I have to say about that.
- 4/5
Last minute stop for rest - did the trick. Friendly staff, a little pricey but right off freeway so I get it
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 4/5
Room clean, spacious just stayed 2 nights. It was okay.
- 2/5
The bed was very comfortable; however, the pool had no water in it, the vanity was pulled away from the wall, and the air conditioner wasn’t able to regulate the room to get cool. The overall cleanliness was good, but the remodel was simply poorly executed with minimal updating. It did the job for getting a shower and sleep, but I was dissatisfied.

Clean big room great staff good breakfast

We arrived late in the evening in the dark, when we woke up, the decor and landscaping was great.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. The entire complex was very clean and well taken care of. The tvs aren’t locked out so you can plug in your own devices.

If you’re a “local” or your license at least shows a local address, they charge you an additional 250$ in security fees and it doesn’t get refunded for another 7-10 days. The rooms and showers are not clean. And the room is extremely out of date. Front desk staff isn’t helpful and some can barely speak English.
- 3/5
Close to I75. Convient location. The Toilet and sink was too low for seniors. The bed was too soft and air conditioner was too loud.

Comfortable and clean Older property on the Georgia side of Chattanooga. The ramp to get in was a bit small and uneven for luggage.

Room was ok, the sofa was dirty with stains all over it. The bed was comfortable but sheets had stains on them. Bathroom was clean enough. Staff was non existent didn’t speak or greet upon entry or leaving, did not eat breakfast so cannot attest to that. Overall stay was ok but would not stay again, too many hotels in the area to stay there.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to everything you may need. Great place to stay for us passing through.
- 3/5
Room was very spacious, but old and dingy
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, room was clean, bed was very comfortable and it very quiet
- 5/5
Clean room, easy to find. We didn't do breakfast. Only stayed one night.
- 2/5
The carpet throughout was dirty and did not look like it had been vacuumed in a while. The rooms are outdated. The biggest problem I have is the fact that they have banana nut waffle mix right with the regular mix. With only a small sign saying what it is. Also the cross contamination that is happening in the waffle makers is a big concern. Thank God we spotted the sign right before putting the mix in the cup. Two of my family members are highly allergic to nuts. This could of killed them or landed us in the hospital. I can not even believe in this day and age that any hotel would do this. We will never stay at a comfort inn again. We choose this hotel based on having a breakfast available for us to have before we got back on the road and we all left eating nothing at all as we did not feel safe. Also the crockpot of sausage gravy looked like it had been in there for days. In all my travels i have never been so grossed out and disappointed in a hotel for putting people's life at risk. Do better Comfort Inn!
- 3/5
The property was ok, some of the areas have been remodeled.
- 5/5
The room was spotlessly clean, the TV actually worked and the bed was super comfortable.
- 5/5
Great place to stay good parking
- 5/5
This is our second stay at this property and we love it! The staff is beyond amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, also.
- 5/5
The staff at this property is amazing!!!! Super friendly and very helpful! Nice size fitness center. Breakfast was yummy with lots of hot and cold options. We got a king suite which was the best decision of our lives! Lol bed was extremely comfortable. Gobs of pillows, the hideabed was perfect for our 4 yr old. Shower was nice and hot with lots of water pressure. We travel often and stay in a variety of hotels. This was by far one of the most comfortable, friendly stays we've had.
- 4/5
The room was fine, the staff was kind of rude but other than that everything was good.
- 5/5
Very comfortable king room with excellent lighting, fluffy, clean bedding. Breakfast room very nice with a great breakfast.
- 2/5
The hotel was outdated despite having some recent updates. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a good amount of mold growing in the shower. The breakfast didn’t appear to be edible. I used the machine to get a cup of coffee and it was full of coffee grounds.
- 1/5
This place is old and it shows. Dirt collected in corners, floor marked up with stains, odor in the air. Not a place I would lay my head. We walked in and walked back out!
- 3/5
Everything was as expected but the breakfast food was cold and we got there as soon as the dining area opened.
- 5/5
The front desk staff checking in was great very friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast always a plus. I enjoy staying here everytime were in Chattanooga. Great place decent price.
- 3/5
Safety was a big concern because the outer door, entry from rear parking lot was missing the exterior handle. No one could open the door from the outside, so sadly everyone was propping it open. We were kind of scared that homeless or criminals might enter the hallways during the night. We notified manager but no action was taken.
- 4/5
Check in was smooth. Room was clean. Bed was too soft and hallway carpet needs replaced.
- 3/5
A bit run down & basic breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean. Quiet!
- 5/5
Nice large rooms! Great breakfast
- 5/5
Big, clean, modern, safe, food options nearby
- 4/5
Breakfast ends too early. We were in the lobby at 9am and it was shut down. Needs to be open until 10am atleast. Otherwise the room was clean.
- 4/5
Close to freeway, excellent dining options nearby and breakfast was nice
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the bed was soft with slot pillows.
- 5/5
Well kept, nice staff & room.
- 5/5
Spotless, huge room, easy check in and out process!
- 1/5
Hotel looks great until you enter the room! Disgusting!! The couch was stained so bad it needs removed immediately! The beds are small!! When it says two double bed that's exactly what they are, barely bigger than a twin.
- 4/5
large mirrors are a huge plus bathroom was comfortable and supplied with amenities.
- 1/5
I could hear an end of life alarm for either a smoke detector or co2 detector coming from a room. It was keeping me up. I called the front desk, she did come and knock on the door saying she couldnt hear anything near my room but could hear one down the hall. I said that is it! it was much louder in my room then the hall. She said if could hear that to i have super hearing and should use a white noise machine. I thought she was joking. But she did not go change the alarm, it went off all night. Im concered about the upkeep as she already knew about the alarm, did nothing. And then continued to do nothing about it, even though it was keeping me up.
- 5/5
Colorful n warm breakfast with a welcoming greeting staff. It held us until dinner. Thank you!
- 5/5
Was berhy good
- 5/5
Parkings good
- 3/5
The staff was ok, but they need to improve the amenities.
- 4/5
Room was good but slightly small
- 3/5
The hot breakfast was mostly cold. Staff was good. Parking was good. We had to change rooms 4 times because the first room the shower head was broken, second room looked like someone had just left and nothing was cleaned up, third room the ac was broken and 4th room was perfect.
- 5/5
First room was not made up. The second room was great
- 5/5
Clean pleasant common-area, the breakfast was good personal was pleasant
- 5/5
The staff at the Comfort inn in Chattanooga-East Ridge were very accommodating and moved us due to the room having furniture that was stained and looked dirty. They also let us use stools to be able to easily get into the high beds. They were very nice and helpful suggesting restaurants nearby. It was a good experience.
- 5/5
The hotel has been updated and the beds are wonderful but high and hard to get in. Thankfully they had stools to use at the front desk. They upgraded us to a suite which was nice but the furniture was uncomfortable and dirty, especially for a place that had just been remodeled. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. And the hotel offered a good choice of places to eat nearby. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean and very comfortable bed. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Staff was very knowledgeable & always willing to make our stay confortable
- 5/5
Comfortable beds
- 4/5

- 5/5
Stay was amazing!
- 5/5
The hallway rugs needed vacuuming. The fitness room was extremely lacking, missing weights, broken weights and a water cooler with no water. Breakfast was ok.
- 5/5
Did not have breakfast, left too early but the room was good, comfortable and clean
- 4/5
The room was clean and neat
- 5/5
The room was clean and staff were very helpful and courteous.
- 4/5
Older hotel that shows some wear and tear but great staff (Talie was awesome checking us in and hosting the breakfast the next morning) We felt safe there and the rooms were clean
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Clean room, comfy beds, hot shower with great pressure. Hot breakfast and good value.

- 4/5
The stay was good and the room was clean. The rest of the property was not as clean but was not as clean. All and all it was a good stay.
- 3/5
They room was very nice but the place was a little out dated. Loved the breakfast
- 5/5
Parking was a bit confusing at night but wouldn’t have been in the daylight
- 5/5
The place was near the attractions. The breakfast was good. Plenty of parking
- 4/5
We got our room because it was convenient and close to Lake Winne! Very pleased with the hotel and staff! Did not eat breakfast so so not know what they served! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
- 3/5
We had a pleasant experience. Our room did have a strange odor to it. Nothing that we couldn’t handle or that would make us ask for a different room, just kind of weird.
- 3/5
The room had a sofa in the living area that had stains all over it. The room had a microwave and mini fridge which was a great feature. Our room was on the ground level which felt like a basement. Ice machine on our level didn’t work. The queen beds were a bit smaller than our queen beds at home, but bigger than a full. It was a little snug for our family of 4.
- 5/5
Bathrooms and suite
- 5/5
The gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of the area spent plenty of time with us room was clean, easy access just like I’ve said before. It is exactly what I expected no surprises.
- 5/5
The front desk agents were AMAZING!!! Small, safe hotel for a quick getaway with my family.
- 4/5
Comfortable beds and hot showers. Great breakfast choices. Only bad thing was anytime someone slammed a door it made the bed move
- 5/5
I give 4 stars in this hotel. Very nice staff, clean room and good space in our room. Bath tub is kind dirty handles. But every thing else is very good. The breakfast are good choices. And the house keeping lady that working Sunday is very nice, the breakfast supposed to be ended 9:30 am but some people still keep coming and eating so she let it opened until all people is done eating. We will be back again.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the suite. The set up was very practical and convenient. The only downside was the pull out bed was as hard as a rock and ver uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
I stayed in a pet friendly room with my dog, room very clean and no bad smell. I definitely would come back.
- 4/5
There was no pool.(under construction) breakfast was ok. Property is old. Need some update. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
When in Chattanooga this is my favor placevto stay the checkin staff is great, room was nice and clean the bed was very comfy and comfortable. Breakfast is a plus.
- 5/5
Room was very clean didnt use gym and pool was closed. Only problem was a long walk to room for older people. The hotel is pretty large. But we are really enoying our stay
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable bed for the price
- 5/5
No problems at all except very long hallway that we were at the long end of and they need to turn on the outside lights a little earlier. Room was good and the breakfast was good
- 4/5
Pretty good value
- 5/5
I always look forward to my stay here. Everything is kept clean. The bed is very comfortable. No outside noise. Can't say anything bad about this place.
- 3/5
We were given keys that didn’t work twice. Took us 20 minutes from checkin to access the room. Then at 8:30pm a random man started knocking at our door.
- 4/5
standard Comfort Inn quality, clean, comfortable and good amenities. Short trip to Chickauga Battlefield which was reason for stay.
- 5/5
The hotel room was nice. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. Lots of space. The hotel itself was in great shape. Plenty of parking. Close to the highway.
- 5/5
Upon entering the clean parking lot, the area appeared safe which is a huge plus. The inside was not only clean but also had a nice aroma. Both ladies were nice during check in and check out. According to previous reviews, I must add that the bed and bedding was exceptionally comfortable!! We had a good night sleep and we had to be awaken by the alarm!! To end, breakfast was great!!
- 4/5
No the cleanest bathrooms but other wise pretty good stay
- 5/5
I would def stay here again. It’s affordable without compromising quality.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and sweet staff. Enjoyed my stay and will visit again.
- 1/5
After staying here, I have no clue how others rated this hotel well. From entering the parking lot, this hotel looked very run down and deserted. The hotel was dirty so much we didn’t stay for the included breakfast. Our room was disgusting. It had an odd odor and there was “something” splattered on the wall next to one of the beds. Our favorite part was being woken up 3 different times by the couple in the next room. They were fighting all night, screaming and slamming doors. This 1 night stay has been the worst my husband and I have ever experienced. I highly suggest not to waste your money by staying at the Comfort Inn in Chattanooga - East Ridge.
- 3/5
Got stuck in the elevator. There was an event and many participants were staying at the hotel, it was very loud.
- 3/5
New furnishings, but not updated fixtures. Clean enough, but I did see a bug in the desk drawer. Staff was very friendly. Didn’t stay for breakfast, so can’t comment on that.
- 3/5
Our room was fine, but the halls and elevators smelled awful. The air conditioner quit working in the lobby and gym. Customer service was really good. We were on the 3rd floor, the beds were comfortable.
- 4/5
Beds were clean & comfortable. Rates were considerably better than neighboring hotels. Breakfast was a plus. Floors in elevators and some common areas could have been better cleaned, but overall great value and would stay again. We felt safe & it was quiet.
- 4/5
I don't think the check in was very good, not friendly, on her phone, not giving details until I asked.
- 4/5
Just ok
- 5/5
Affordable, clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and very convenient to our event. Yummy breakfast!
- 5/5
Reasonable price, convenient, and pet allow. Very nice staff. It is an older facility, but well maintained.
- 5/5
Great stay very comfortable quiet
- 2/5
Lipstick on a pig. Lobby and entrance have been upgraded. Not the rooms. Sticky floors and counters. Stains all over the couch, Carpet in bedroom looked old and used…wouldn’t dare walk in it barefooted.
- 4/5
Overall ok hotel. However, suite with pull out bed, but it was basically a large ottoman scooted up to couch. Of course it was very uncomfortable and would not stay together. Remote in living area tv did not work. Four people staying in room and we had two bath towels and two wash cloths.
- 5/5
The beds were super comfy!
- 3/5
Barking dogs and cleanliness were certainly a negative
- 5/5
Was everything we were looking for in a hotel.
- 1/5
This is an older hotel that has tried to update. The beds look fairly new but are uncomfortable. Pillows flat. The carpets look almost camouflaged from wear, tear and filth. The bathroom vent was so covered in dust and mold we ended up skipping showers and driving to our next location. The product they wash linens and towels in made me break out in to rashes, and I do not have sensitive skin. The air conditioning didnt work. The hotel is set at a stifling 80F. Breakfast... they tried... typical continental
- 5/5
Very nice room and location
- 1/5
Filthy room. Broken faucet in bathroom- broken toilet that couldn’t flush. Gross smell in the bedding. Like sweat and Lysol spray. Will not ever stay there again
- 3/5
There was quite a bit of noise not their fault. The breakfast was horrible. The bagel was frozen solid. The eggs are powdered and cold. It’s just not good.
- 5/5
Great friendly front desk staff tht checked us in. This hotel is my go to when in Chattanooga the bed is so cozy and breakfast is a plus.
- 4/5
Good enough for a short stay.
- 4/5
It was a quick and convenient stop.
- 3/5
Hotel was ok. The room was a little beat up with floors that were popped up in some places. The pull out couch had some stains on it that were a little gross and the remote for the tv was sticky. The worst was that the door had a gap between the edge and the frame where a lot of sound and light came through. So we heard everything that went on in the hallways which made it hard to fall asleep.
- 2/5
Bed too soft, shower clogged, standing water.
- 3/5
We got a king bed, which was excellent. The mattress is great then we had to pull out sofa that did not work making it very difficult for my adult daughter to sleep. It was dirty stained, but it did not stay put together so she ended up crunched up in the sofa part which was a Two seater sofa
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Manager on duty was extremely rude, ill mannered, and condescending. The property itself was acceptable. But we will not be returning due to the awful service provided by the manager on duty.
- 1/5
Saturday night they had a private function which took up majority of the front parking and the entire hotel and rooms smelled of curry for hours. Bathroom had mold and was old...the hotel is in need of a total gut job and not just a band-aid renovation. I would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Didn't appreciate getting locked out of the room both days we were here had to go to desk to have cards redone both days. Other than that was a good stay.
- 5/5
Great experience!
- 1/5
There was a party at the hotel. No problem with that but they were loud and rowdy knocking on doors and keeping us awake well past midnight.
- 2/5
Elevator out of service halls stink doors slamming
- 1/5
Booked through Expedia. Wrong date for 1 night stay. Front desk manager was rude and refused to help us in any way tried to correct the date and pay additional for that evening. She refused. Expedia made repeated attempts to correct the error on our behalf. Manager refused and charged us for a night we never got to use. Worst experience I have ever had with a hotel stay. Will never book with Comfort Inn again!!
- 2/5
Did not respond to my emails, then charged my card after prepayment. No laundry as the machines are broke. Changed the shower head to a softer spray and mold flew out.
- 5/5
We are over 70 they put us in the room farthest from the elevator the hotel wasn’t full so I don’t know if it was because we went through hotels.com
- 5/5
Quiet and comfortable
- 3/5
It was great for a quick stop. A little overpriced but very clean. The staff was nice.
- 5/5
Great job
- 4/5
A little dated but it was clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable.
- 3/5
Wi-Fi was terrible
- 4/5
Newly renovated and close to restaurants
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
The bathroom was in terrible shape
- 5/5
loved the suite at a very reasonable prive
- 5/5
Friendly and convenient.
- 4/5
My check-in process was excellent. The initial rep was the best. Everything was very clean, tidy, and comfortable except for the shower. There was no exhaust and there was mold buildup on the showerhead, which was quite disgusting. Other than that, everything was thoroughly cleaned.
- 4/5
The hotel was newly renovated but the bathrooms are still older. The bed was comfortable and it was fine for an overnight stay.
- 4/5
The breakfast bar was well stocked.
- 4/5
It's been renovated, clean inside. Beds are comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was ok.
- 4/5
Need hooks for wet towels in bath, bed is high for handicapped person
- 5/5
This hotel is my go to when's in the area, from the great front desk staff to the really comfort bed , breakfast options its a w8n win for me and my family. If you looking for something simple amd nice book you wont be disappointed.
- 5/5
Very good, clean, nice staff, excellent location and very comfort beds.
- 5/5
When checking in we were given a free upgrade to a suite room. Nice and update but furniture was made for someone taller ex. 6ft. tall. Hard to get into the comfortable bed or set at the computer desks that was at my upper chest when setting in the low chair. Otherwise a great room and service. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Bad neighborhood
- 5/5
It was clean and quiet.
- 5/5
The front desk lady from Jamaica was great.
- 2/5
No lights outside the building when we arrived, making it difficult to find. Rooms were not very clean. Breakfast was good, Lobby was clean, staff was friendly.
- 2/5
The american flag outside was hanging upside down and even after notifying the front nothing was done about it. I wouldn't recommend this place. There are alot nicer hotels in the area
- 4/5
Area has possibly seen better days. Maintenance could be improved. Very industrial but overall okay
- 4/5
The property was very clean and the bed was very comfy!
- 5/5
Nice room, Everything refurbished throughout hotel. Comfortable bed
- 4/5
Our "Go To" place in the Chattanooga area.

Great place for overnight stay
- 1/5
Dirty, Old, and Poor foods quality
- 5/5
Super cómoda y limpia. Nos gustó mucho
- 5/5
It was very quiet and we got a good nights sleep.
- 5/5
The beds were super comfortable, the staff was friendly, loved the gym. It was close to really good food and attractions
- 5/5
Everything was great ! We had a great time and we will recommend it to everyone
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable. The pet fee was reasonable. There were no bags in the pet waste stations. The room was clean but a little shabby in spots. The breakfast was decent and there were many choices. We used it as an overnight on our way home. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
cozy and affordable
- 4/5
Good place for staying overnight compared to more expensive places in downtown
- 3/5
I put the animal friendly option in when I booked the hotel. I booked two suites bc I was traveling w a dog, 2 adults and two children. I entered the hotel the desk person checked me into both suites. It’s was so hot, I was uncomfortable and sweating to death. It too too long, she wa not efficient. She then saw the dog and took the keys back from me stating dogs couldn’t be in a suite. So then she replaced my room w a tiny room furthest from the lobby in the basement. She was rude… it was hot and she took more than 30min to fix her mistake bc I disclosed that I had a dog. The entire 3 min she made nasty remarks about dogs and how inconvenient it was that she didn’t know about the dog. When I search for hotels I always put that I have a dog. I will never stay here again.. they r soo rude and don’t read the information given to them thru the reservation. Also the breakfast was completely gross and burned.
- 4/5
good
- 5/5

Convenient to I-75. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Liked the blackout shades on window. Was quiet. Vanity in bathroom was low. Shampoo and conditioner bottles appeared to have been used by a previous guest. Would be nice if breakfast would be served until 10am.Overall, a very good experience. Would stay there again.

As the first stay on our trip, the whole experience was delightful. The room lobby and breakfast areas were clean and inviting. Three different staff members were very polite and helpful. The only minor concern was that both check in and out took longer than expected.

It was convenient to the location I had to do business, however the rooms were very poorly renovated with poor craftsmanship (laughable).

Here are a few downsides I found. The parking is a lot in front of the building, so it is a little walk to get to your car. No parking spaces close to the actual building. My room felt slightly humid and sticky. One of the pillowcases had spots on it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would use this hotel again.
