Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests expressing satisfaction with the staff's friendliness and helpfulness, while others express dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and condition of the hotel. Many guests have complained about dirty rooms, musty smells, and outdated facilities.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location
- Dirty rooms and facilities
- Outdated and in need of remodeling
- 5/5
We have stayed twice now and never had any problems.
- 1/5
The property, lobby, fitness center, pool, and room were all horrible. This is a very run down little motel. It is def not worth the $169/night that I paid to stay for four nights. There were multiple unhoused people roaming the property and at the pool, coming into the lobby and that made it feel even more unsafe. The room was run down and damp. Even with the a/c running constantly for the four nights/five days all of our clothes and the bedding was damp the entire stay. The tiny hair dryer started burning my hand after being on for a few minutes and then started smoking so I turned it off and unplugged it as to not start a fire. The towels and sheets were stained. Overall and absolutely horrible experience.
- 4/5
The staff was fast and friendly. The beds were crazy comfortable and best pillows ever. Very clean. Ice cold air and room darkened nicely. Our room smelled terribly musty/moldy. We were so tired from traveling though we didn’t say anything and just went to bed.
- 2/5
I can't say much about the other rooms, but #228 had what I hope were water stains on the ceiling. The room smelled of wet dog—like an actual dog—because I assume previous tenants had a dog in the room. The AC unit made a loud ticking sound, making it hard to sleep after driving for hours. And breakfast seemed to be first come, first served.
- 4/5
Stopped for one night. Pictures on website definitely make it look better then it is. Check in was easy and friendly. Decor is worn & could use some refreshing. Breakfast was pretty basic. Worst thing was hearing every bit of noise in the hall. Other than that, the room was clean, bed was comfortable with fresh crisp sheets. Area is safe & taken care of. We did not use the pool, but it looked well maintained All in all Not bad for a budget stay
- 1/5
After checking in we opened our doors and was coughing from a strong chemical smell that was masking a strong musty odor. The linens on the beds had blood and urine stains and 2 of the rooms had bugs. The front desk moved us to different rooms but unfortunately the same issues were in the other rooms so we were stuck at 1am after traveling all day calling around trying to find another clean hotel to check int with no help from Expedia of relocating us. Not what I’d expect from a choice hotel chain. I will be reaching out to their county health inspector and disputing this charge with my credit since we did not received the services we paid for. Luckily the Hampton in had 3 available rooms left to accommodate our party of 12. All 12 of us will be leaving accurate reviews on the clarion hotel website with photos.
- 5/5
Nice clean and friendly will book again
- 3/5
The room had a ministry smell to it!
- 3/5
Overall, it was a place to sleep. The facilities were old and covered in bad patch jobs. The bathrooms had mold stains. The carpets were just as bad. But the staff was nice and the rate was cheap. Not the worst place I've stayed in.
- 5/5
Parking was easy, Breakfast was really good
- 2.5/5
Older than I expected, it had a smell. The area was a little dicey.
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful. Could use a coat of paint. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Good price and the room was solid.
- 4/5
Stink bug was make up in bed the front door was broken
- 3/5
Property needs renovations, bed was not comfortable. Latch on our door was broken off. Wouldn’t stay again
- 5/5
Friendly
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. They accepted our pets with a reasonable fee. Would have appreciated more description on parking as we were traveling for a move and had a trailer. We were able to park but only because we got there before the parking area filled up and we're able to turn the trailer around with a bit of jockeying.
- 2.5/5
Check in and out was easy and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom had holes in the walls. The ceiling near the dining area was leaking water while we were eating breakfast. We wanted to watch the sunset over the mountain but there was no outside benches or seating anywhere.

- 4/5
Good Breakfast.
- 4/5
Plenty of good parking
- 5/5
Yes, breakfast was great. Parkin was ,nice and easy.
- 0.5/5
The hotel was fine. The website booked me for a week from the time I wanted to be there and wouldn’t reimburse me.
- 5/5
the room was good but the bathroom tiles and drywalls were dirty and cracked.
- 4.5/5
Breakfast items were not refilled
- 5/5
It was comfortable and the staff were friendly . Nothing
- 2/5
Several Maintenance issues and there was substantial MOLD in the bathroom Only positive was the staff
- 2/5
Some of the furniture was in disrepair. Wall socket covering in the bathroom was not the right size to cover the hole that was there and the screws were literally hanging out of the wall.
- 4/5
The rooms need a little upgrading in the sense that the showers are arrested. The door knobs need replacement. The floors are squeaky. windows need cleaning but other than that it was pleasant and location was awesome!
- 3/5
The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful even with a line of people waiting for help. The room was very clean but worn. The mattress definitely needs an upgrade, it was really bumpy and it looks like cheap fixes for the bathroom, specifically around the tub and the caulking. The owners should do better to keep the place looking better.
- 1.5/5
was not given the correct room and did not meet my expectations refund
- 4/5
Great staff and clean property. Room could use an update but overall solid choice roght iff the highway
- 5/5
Always clean More towels
- 3/5
I upgraded and had to pay an extra $55 to get a room with double beds, because I have a back problem. The room nor the bedding was very clean. I bath looked like someone with boots had taken a shower before we got there, the toilet was stained which is very off putting. The wall in the corridor area had a huge hole in it and the paint was chipped, not only in our room, but all the way along the corridor. We had hooks on the wall but no pictures. It was very depressing to stay in there. I expected better when I had paid for the upgrade. The breakfast in the morning was good, but the area around the hotel did not allow anywhere for me to walk my dog. I did walk behind the hotel, only to be told by the Knights Inn Manager that I was trespassing on their property and told to get off, which was behind the Clarion. I now have a very poor opinion of Clarion Choice Hotels and will not be booking with choice hotels again!
- 3/5
The front desk staff employee was polite, patient, and took care of us expertly.
- 3/5
Staff check in great, room maintenance need care, breakfast ok,parking goodprice too high
- 1/5
Not good. I highly recommend this hotel as a last option. I can’t comment about the breakfast. Based on the cleanliness of the room we didn’t want to roll the dice. We got up early and left. There is a strong scent of diffuser when you walk in. An obvious attempt to cover the scent of uncleanliness. The carpet in the hall way was disgusting and filthy.
- 1/5
The ceiling in the breakfast area was leaking and the desk clerk had to keep attending to mopping the floor.
- 3.5/5
The hotel is dated and looks slightly run down. Does not have the best aesthetic
- 4/5
Was perfect for what we needed, a place to sleep and shower before getting back on the road.
- 1/5
The room was disgusting. We would have left if we didn’t check in after midnight on a road trip. As we were walking into the hall with our bag another family was walking out with their bags. I knew that was a bad sign. We didn’t see any signs of bugs but the room was gross and there was black mold on the carpet by the fridge. I will never stay at another clarion
- 4.5/5
This motel is convenient to the Lookout Mountain attractions. We had a nice 3 day stay. The bed was comfortable and we didn’t have a lot of traffic noise. The breakfast was much appreciated.
- 1.5/5
Dirty
- 1/5
Nasty. Place smelled like carpet fresh. There were stains on carpet in room, looked like a dog pooped and wasn't properly cleaned. Extremely noisy a/c. Had to turn TV on full blast. No way to run at night. Breakfast was awful. When we went back to room you could tell the ionizer, which is not good. Toilet was loose and wobbly. Phone outlets didn't work. Nothing good about this place.
- 4/5
Room was ok bathroom had only one light working and was very dim but for price and one night it was okay
- 3.5/5
Facility needs repairs. My room had no latch on door, there was broken outlets and amung other things a saw. Comforters need to be replaced due to have wear and tear. At least bed was comfortable and Facility is clean.
- 4/5
The staff was accommodating, and the room was clean.
- 1/5
room smell bad
- 4/5
Problems with wi fi
- 1/5
Hotel was horrible. Old, smelly, dirty and bugs in the rooms. I had to change three times my room. First room had paw prints on the bed sheets, smelly and very outdated. The second room had a smell like something died in the room and it wasn't clean. And the third room had a bunch of dead bug all over the floor. In conclusion, the hotel is falling apart, dirty rooms and the staff simply didn't care a bit. My stay was prepaid and they didn't want to refund the money. Stay someplace else there are a bunch of other hotels in the area nicer and budget friendly.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and rooms were comfortable.
- 2/5
The carpeting throughout the building was old and needed vacuuming (at the least). The room was dirty… some sort of white powder in a corner … dust all over. The lights were not very good and one bedside wall sconce didn’t work, even after putting in a new bulb. The bathroom should be gutted. It’s a nah at this location. I have stayed at several midlevel hotels (including other Clarions) a this was the worst. This even ranked toward the bottom of budget hotels/motels I’ve stayed at.
- 4/5
Fridge was very cold in room. Breakfast food took a long time to be refilled.
- 5/5
The parking lot is a nightmare due to the steep entry. Hotel is very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Room was very comfortable and relaxing.
- 4/5
When you entered the lobby, the first floor smelled fabulous when you went up to the second floor and exited the elevator it had a musty smell.
- 4/5
Hotel needs a little tlc and remodeling but for the price it was a great value. The lobby is nice and the breakfast was far better than some of the other budget places we have stayed at. Would stay here again
- 4/5
We check in, slept, and checked out. No frills hotel, perfect for quick overnight stay at a great price.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Good parking.
- 5/5
Great value, great price, great continental breakfast!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel staff, excellent stay
- 5/5
Always good
- 4.5/5
Clean , water water was hot Great breakfast , very comfy bed The hair dryer would not work on the wa It needs replaced
- 0.5/5
Let's see... room was dirty, shower DID NOT WORK incredibly disappointing since thats the main reason I got a hotel instead of camping since we were on a long road trip, television did not work either. I wasnt expecting anything amazing but this sucked.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Customer service was awesome!
- 4/5
First room we checked into the tv didn’t work. We got moved to a different room. Both rooms were very beat up. Holes in the walls, wall fixtures missing and screw anchors pulled out. Woodwork badly scraped up and walls scratched down to the drywall. Hair dryer was pulled off the wall and missing in the second room. That said, the room was very clean and the breakfast was decent. Front desk host Toni went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She is the reason we gave the review a “good” score.
- 5/5
Excellent spot to drop our stuff and head to Ruby Falls. Very inexpensive, clean, and a decent breakfast. I recommend if you are trying to save money for Chatanooga excursions.
- 3/5
The coffee was not replinish. There is no staff when you need help.
- 5/5
Thumbs up.
- 2/5
The front desk clerk had no problem moving me to another room. That one was clean but you could tell that the place needed an overhaul. Back entry to the hotel did not lock at all. Back entry was also very dirty.
- 2/5
Staff was nice, especially in the am. Beds were awful!! Noisy and lumpy. Shower on/off control was difficult to turn, it was either real hot or cold.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Rooms were acceptable and decent. Staff was polite. Breakfast was decent usual offerings was very busy and the lady working was working hard to try and keep up.
- 5/5
Great all the around
- 2/5
This is way below the average hotel. Rooms were not clean. It smelled bad when we entered. Furniture was broken. They had to swap us to another room where the sink wasn’t draining. Breakfast was okay but they had yogurt that was expired a month ago and when we informed them they said okay but did not take any action to remove it. I’ll not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 2/5
Based on reviews we thought this would be the perfect stop for a quick stop. Things started off on a bad note, the reservation was incorrectly made for the following night. I contacted Expedia & they said there was a no refund policy. But they would try to contact the hotel to get an exception. I made a new reservation online. At check in the young girl was very Frye friendly. Upon entering the room, you could see that the space had been "updated" and it was a horrible job thank you put in 2526 written on the ground
- 3/5
The hotel needs more love. The front door was being held open by big boulders. There had been a leak in our room at some point, so, aside from the dirty walls, this nasty ceiling wasn't something one wants to see. Two women were acting as staff when we arrived. The heavy-set, black woman was rude and extremely lazy. She was sitting at a table away from the desk when we arrived. She wouldn't move to do anything! The other lady with the reindeer antlers in her hair finally came to the desk. There was trash in the hall, as well as a yellow bag in the parking lot (which appeared to have been dropped). Both of these remained there until we left the hotel the next afternoon. The black woman was probably the laziest we've ever seen. She wouldn't lift a finger to do anything. Her attitude was awful.
- 4/5
spotless
- 2/5
room was great comode was too short fitness room equipment was broken the place just needed a little touch up staff was ok
- 5/5
Great location, easy check in. Room clean. Bed was springy
- 3/5
I don’t know what could be done about the noise and creaking from room above at 2 am and 6 am, as well as road and truck traffic noise.
- 3/5
Was very loud outside
- 2/5
Stayed for 1 night while traveling thru TN. Would have left if it wasn’t so late. Room smelled like soured laundry. Visible mold on ceiling. What looked like 2 spots of blood on the wall - choosing to believe it was spaghetti sauce. Towels and bed linens were super dingy, probably not using bleach in their wash. TV was broken. Stayed here once before while traveling thru TN and it was fine. Assuming it’s under new mgmt/ownership. Woman working reception when we checked in was nice, funny, and polite.
- 2/5
The rooms had water stains in the ceiling. Rooms were not very clean and the beds had huge dips in them. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to show up at the check in desk which they only came once a maintenance person went to find them. Both luggage racks had deflated tires . Hotel coffe is always not great but this one was absolutely horrible. Highly suggest paying a little more for a better place
- 4/5
Very accommodating, spacious room, comfortable bed. Tv was pretty small and the carpet had a huge stain on it but I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Cleanish. Run down. Not very quiet, thin walls. Breakfast was not worth walking by. We stayed here in the past, but would not stay again
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very good
- 1/5
There were blood stains on the comforter, no batteries in fire alarm, and the worst tv. Front desk told us we were making her job harder when we asked if we could plug in our Roku. Has nothing to do with their job.
- 1/5
Sorry, everything was bad.
- 1/5
Hotels.com. Please remove this hotel from your site. I do not think you you would knowingly front this hotel and if so, I should cancel my hotels.com membership. Check the last 6 months or so Google reviews. The ownership has totally misrepresented this place and it borders on being condemned. At the least, downgraded to a motel. I have a laundry list of safety and sanitation items that should be made to whoever issues business licenses.
- 2/5
We went to three rooms before getting one that the refrigerator was working. The room smelled musty. The picture on the website shows a room with laminate wood floors but none of the rooms we went into had that- they had smelly carpets. Very outdated. Staff was nice but that’s it
- 4/5
Clean & quiet
- 3/5
Staff were pleasant, room was dated. You get about what you'd expect for the price.
- 5/5
This hotel is in an excellent location across the street from Walmart and a short distance from Ruby Falls and Rock City. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast had options. The room was a good size.
- 1/5
Staff was nice though.
- 4/5
Hotel is clean
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. Room and breakfast were nice but neither tub nor sink had stoppers.
- 2/5
Necesita mejoras
- 2/5
It needs a lot of cleaning and remodeling too many things in bad condition
- 3/5
Parking lot was well lit and the location was convention from the main highway. Otherwise, look for a different location - very dated property and not well maintained.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Good stay for quick trip to chatt
- 4/5
Older property but clean and well-maintained. Good location off highway. Breakfast was just okay. I wish hotels would stop serving those gray sausages. They all do it and they are all awful.
- 4/5
Good place
- 2/5
The fire alarm was missing in our room. There was mold all around the baseboard in the bathroom. Someone was BLARING music until after 2AM. My husband called the front desk several times and they FINALLY chose to do something about it after his fifth attempt. Worst hotel experience we have had. I DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here.
- 1/5
The place smells horrid like straight up mold! Bed was somewhat comfortable but sounded like it would break everytime you move. Maintenance was nonexistent. You can tell they do try to clean but you can only do so much. Rooms are very noisy. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else for a little more $$!
- 1/5
This hotel owes me a refund for room 2 38 and 240 as they promised
- 5/5
Lovely inside great breakfast
- 5/5
This is our go to place every single visit to Tennessee we travel there about 3xs a year its close to everything and has restaurants and shopping literally across the street my kids love it there the staff are so friendly the rooms are clean as well
- 3/5
Window need to be cleaned. There were handprints all over it. The mirror in the bathroom needed to be cleaned as well. Other than that it was an average room nothing fancy but fine for a nights rest.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. This room was a place to sleep for 6 hours before continuing to our final destination. It is an older hotel that could definitely use a renovation but it was clean. The beds were not the best but I repeat you get what you pay for. The breakfast was being made as we were leaving. It smelt good but we did not wait for it to be done to try it
- 5/5
Clean room and the staff is kind
- 5/5
Great breakfast, friendly owners, good shopping across the street.
- 4/5

- 2/5
The fire alarm was going off for a hour and there was no fire and no staff present to tell anyone what was happening. Phones werent connected in the room.
- 4/5
Older building, room very clean, value for price.
- 5/5
Nice room to sleep for 1 night
- 2/5
The staff was friendly enough. The carpeting in the room was soiled. A dirty shirt was left in the room by a previous guest. Bedding was not the clranrst. The tub and walls were chipped. The breakfast biscuits were tough, eggs were not done properly. The breakfast selection amwas paltry. Parking was good. The price was low and now I can see why.
- 1/5
The hallways smelled terrible, and the room even worse. We also opened the door to find it unbearably hot, as they had the air conditioning turned off. There was a HUGE stain on the caroet that im afraid to even ask what it was , blood or possibly dog feces?? The fire alarm was ripped off the wall, and the light in the bathroom was just a bare bulb. Lastly as we were leaving our room, the door would even seal shut. Stay away from here!
- 1/5
We stayed here in Dec 2024, and we really liked it. This time around, not so much! We had to move rooms 3x! First room, hot water not working. Second room, TV not working. Third one, we barely had any choice! All toilets in 3 rooms were not working, yes, all of them! It was like they were clogged or something! Either septic system not working properly! Very disappointing experience, and we had to stay two nights, and paid for two rooms!
- 4/5
Staff really nice, room was clean and breakfast wasn’t too bad.
- 4/5
Good for the price and conveniently located. It could have been cleaner.
- 5/5
Love this place!
- 4/5
Room was clean and area was quiet
- 1/5
The staff at this place were unbelievably rude—three different employees, all with terrible attitudes. Our key cards didn’t work, and the woman at the front desk acted like we were bothering her just by checking in, barking questions at us like we didn’t belong there. Another staff member just stared at me like an idiot when I asked for extra towels. The room itself was gross—barely cleaned, with hair left in the bathroom. To top it off, there was an actual bucket of what looked like urine sitting in the hallway in front of a guest’s door. This wasn’t just disappointing—it was disgusting. Honestly, I’d rather sleep in my car than spend another minute in this dump.
- 4/5
Room and lobby’s general condition was less than ideal. Our room had some small holes in the wall and you could tell there were some shoddy pant touchups everywhere. With that being said, the price was cheap and the beds might be the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Good value for the money. The Waffle House across down the street was nice too.
- 2/5
Ac units was making noise. Tv remote was not working I had it replaced and then only the volume worked so I had to watch TV by getting up every time to change the channel on the box they did not go out of their way to try to rectify this
- 4/5
The staff was friendly, room was clean, pet-friendly property that could use a little more repairs.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Was a good place to stay. Front desk lady was very nice. Room was nice. The lady even whispered our room so other people wouldn’t hear it. Very appreciated!
- 5/5
Booking the reservation was really easy. When I arrive staffed was very friendly and just easy-going. I did have to be taught how to use the knob for the shower cause it’s way different than I’ve ever used before but other than that great experience. The tub tubs definitely need an upgrade, but other than that service is really well.
- 2/5
Very outdated, air conditioning is terrible. Breakfast is pretty bad, stafg was really friendly but that's the only upside.
- 1/5
We did not feel safe here. The outer doors were propped open with rocks in the back. When we brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, they said it was someone who did that so he could get in and out of the building, but not sure why he couldn’t use his room key to do that like we did? We didn’t feel safety measures were in place. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else but the hotel would not give us a refund even though it was due to their lack of safety protocol that we left. Not good management.
- 4/5
Convenient, comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. However room was right next to pool and was noisy until very late.
- 3/5
Saw a cockroach....reported it to front desk. Of lesser significance, couldn't get wifi in my room the evening I checked in.
- 2/5
Was dirty smell very bad breakfast was te

- 5/5
My husband and I enjoyed our self the pool was nice and clean
- 4/5
It was nice
- 1/5
We arrived at the hotel to check in, the lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. We went up to our room and could smell the must in the hallway, upon opening the door the room smelled so bad we couldn’t even walk in. We went and asked for a new room, upon walking into the room the smell was very strong once again but also to add to the smell the bathroom and bedroom were both covered in mold. The bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned, the AC did not work, and again the mold and smell were everywhere. 10/10 would not recommend staying here. If I could give negative stars then I would.
- 4/5
GREAT PRICE , FELT VERY SAFE AND WOULD STAY AGAIN
- 1/5
It was gross blood all over mattress still waiting on refund
- 4/5
Quiet. Clean.
- 3/5
Check in was slow and unwelcoming. The woman checking us in just didn’t seem to really care for her job and just wanted to get it over with. When we got to the room it had a smell I can’t describe. The bathroom curtain was molded, tub looked like I hadn’t been cleaned In months, rags looked dingy and still dirty. Bed sheets did not fit the bed and popped off the mattress in the middle of the night. I usually don’t complain or pay attention to much when I understand you get what you pay for but even with that, these were simple things you shouldn’t have to worry about even at a cheap price.
- 2/5
It was ok. Stains on towels. Floor was sticky. Ac was not cold and the whole room was damp. Ok for the price. Stayed 1 day.
- 3/5
It was a good, kinda. The price was right. Nearby Walmart. My only big problem was that the room smelled. I think they should try replacing the carpet and or the AC filters
- 4/5
Bathroom was clean but renovations/repairs were not complete
- 1/5
This hotel was disgusting. The rooms smelled of mold, the sheets and mattress were very soiled, the caulking was black with mold and all the furniture was ripped, torn and old. We walked in the rooms and left the hotel immediately
- 1/5
We didn’t even stay we had to pay for a whole other hotel. The rooms were moldy. The receptionist was rude, and the smell of mulled was awful. We tried four rooms one was already occupied the other three moldy. Another guest said he had a horrible experience and his wife spent 2 1/2 hours deep cleaning just so they could go to sleep.
- 5/5
Convenient location. Full fresh breakfast . Outdoor pool and work out room.
- 4/5
Everything is just ok.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice pool! Near alot of places 2 eat and Rock City!
- 3/5
Bed was not good, had to spray air freshener in room every day, light cover in bathroom broken and big stains all over the carpet. Breakfast was the same 4 days iin a row.
- 4/5
I liked the floor tile rooms reserved for pet use but they didn’t clean well enough to remove the pet smells. The tub was missing the drain plug. Older amenities.
- 3/5
Check in was easy and staff very professional
- 1/5
Avoid this one by all means. Hotel staffs were very rude and unprofessional. The manager was not present on site during the work hours and appeared to be not willing to resolve the issues I had with the hotel. The room was surprisingly filthy with bad odors although the lobby was very clean. This hotel is not worth paying a penny.
- 5/5
Nice bed
- 5/5
Very convenient and affordable
- 3/5
The bed was OK pillows not the most comfortable. Area around is noisy. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good
- 3/5
The room was very small, but clean. The air was off when we got there (90 degrees outside). Room.was hot and musty. Took hours to get semi cool, never cold. Pool was mediocre and had algae on sides. For a 1 night stay, it was ok.
- 1/5
A nasty dirty room. The ac didn’t work at all. The room as 80 degrees all night. There never seemed to be anyone attending the desk The furniture in the room look like it had been pulled out of a dumpster. The bathroom had some sort of facial or pubic hair on the faucet. One of the towels was covered in make up and dirt of some sort. The fan in the bathroom did not work at all. It was clogged and overflowing with dust and hair. The curtain to cover the window was equally dirty and dusty. I have pictures of all of this. I would ultimately like a refund, but I would also like to leave a review to spare other travelers from this nightmare hotel

The property is ok and in a decent location. Our room smell like mildew and mold. Like the carpet was wet. The shower whistled loud and wouldnt stop. I am Veteran with hearing issues and the sound of the whistling gave me a headache.
- 5/5
This hotel was in great location to Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga! I would recommend staying at this location. The female at the front desk went above and beyond during our stay. We would stay there again!
- 3/5
Location was good but hotel was dark, dirty and unkept. Breakfast was ok.
- 1/5
Upon check in no electricity in room, mold in shower, dirty toilet, and cigarette burns on sheets. Front desk unable to help. Requested a refund was told I would have to speak with TJ the manager in the morning. We checked out without using the room. Called several times over the next couple of days to speak with TJ only to be told he was not available or they would hang up on us!
- 4/5
Our stay was nice.. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean. Bed was ok. I would definitely stay again. Very convenient. Walmart right across the street. Food place very close.
- 3/5
Very basic hotel. Breakfast was average, room had a bit of a musty smell, bathroom was small.
- 1/5
Awful!
- 2/5
The room smells damp, it's unbearable. I had to buy an air freshener.
- 4/5
One lady working the first desk the 2nd night we stayed was super rude and tried to kick us out of the pool several times, where as the first night we stayed out til midnight and nobody said anything to us. Other than that the stay was great!
- 4/5
N/a
- 2/5
Worked well for our purpose as a late stop along the way on our trip. Better price than others nearby. Hotel is a bit dated and needed repairs.
- 3/5
The hotel was in a convenient location for us for a 1 night stay on a long road trip. We did not spend much time at the hotel but it was fine for our needs.
- 1/5
Do not use this property. The room smelled heavily of wet dog and mold. The carpet had stains, the supposedly white sheets looked like they were not washed (had dirt marks bed and on the pillow cases). There were holes in the bedding and the towels. The towels felt grimy. The room needed painting. The bathroom tile was moldy. The walkway leading to the property was littered with trash from an overflowing trash bin. The place was disgusting. The only good thing that was okay was the front desk clerk who moved us to another room without any issue because the first room smelled so bad.
- 4/5
Great location near everything! Rooms were good and spacious. Towels were nice and fluffy. They supply towels for the pool which some of the time were not available. The front desk was kind and helpful. Free breakfast was you got what you paid for and not my cup of tea but I'm sure others would enjoy it.
- 5/5
Amazing!!!! Would stay again
- 3/5
Room was ok the water pressure was horrible. Pool was not clean the first night but they did clean later. I did have to wipe down the counter it was sticky.
- 4/5
Supper friendly staff and always helpful with extra towels or anything else you need
- 3/5
Hotel is located on the side of a hill. Not a lot of walking options for dinner.
- 5/5
This is on the higher end of the basic hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. The 2nd floor is more newly remand Mountain View!
- 2/5
Poorly staffed front desk; guests have to wait for a long time for staff to show up to check in or check out. Breakfast is joke - by 8am food is gone, and poor staff member is put in an odd position of having to explain to guests why there is no food - sounds like it is a common issue at this property due to how the owner has it managed. Putting "breakfast included" in room description is a deception to the customer. Ceilings in many areas had stains, chipping paint, and holes around light fixtures (this did not look safe as electrical wires were exposed in some cases). This property was an example of owner/manager not knowing how to run a hotel. Would not stay there again and would not recommend it.
- 4/5
Not a bad place for one night. I wouldn't stay there for any longer than that, but it was ok for an evening.
- 3/5
Heck I’m was fine. Back entry to stairs is very dirty. Bathroom and bed was fine. Breakfast was ok along with the coffee. One night to lay our head before seeing Ruby Falls and Rock City which were very nice. Would probably spend more next time than stay here.
- 3/5
We stayed here for one night and it was ok. We have some complaints. The air conditioning didn't get cold enough making it uncomfortable to sleep. Our fitted sheet had some kind of damage near the foot area which was rough and crunchy so we slept on top of the top sheet to avoid touching that. The tile by the shower was barely hanging on to the wall due to water damage. Wouldn't take much to fix it and have a better appearance. Breakfast offered eggs and pork sausage which had been microwaved, make your own waffles, yogurt, muffins, biscuits, cereal, juice, and apples. Not the best hotel breakfast but not the worst we've ever seen either. Location was convenient right off the highway. Sufficient but not top of my list to visit again.
- 5/5
Hotel was great! Nice and quiet and within range of various food options. Close to a walmart as well so would definitely recommend and stay here again.
- 4/5

- 3/5
Breakfast was a bust. No food or coffee available at 8 am. Very surprised by this. Nothing was being restocked. Room was clean needs some cosmetic updates. Check in was excellent check out no one around so there’s that
- 4/5
The bed was great, the room smelled somewhat musty and the carpet felt a little damp, but we enjoyed our time there. Breakfast was good too coffee taste great
- 1/5
Room smelled strongly of smoke, and we realized the smoke detector had been taken from our room. Confronted front desk, and she didn’t seem surprised or do anything about it. Breakfast was fine. It’s what we expected for the price.
- 1/5
Near $300 for one night stay. Picture missing from wall, plastic bag and towel taped over smoke detector, refrigerator leaking on floor, cigarette burns in comforter (non smoking room) and stains on sheets and bed. Not what I was expecting for the cost and room pics posted hotel site. Front desk was helpful and courteous. Tried to make it right changing sheets and making fire detector operational. Would not recommend.
- 4/5
The deadbolt on the door was inoperable. My keycard would only work for part of the time.
- 2/5
Had to change rooms because of heavy smoke smell in hallway and in room the second room was ok paint was falling from ceiling in bathroom and rust on sprinkler head in bathroom common hallways smelled moldy that’s what the low room rating was about also in the first room my wife likes to pull off bedding to look for bed bugs but what she found was a blood and urine stained mattress however the staff was great
- 2/5
Old sheets and towels. We had some good towels but some towels were old with holes in them. Sheets were not clean. There were several hair pieces on the sheets along being on the bedspread. Bathroom sink was stopped up.
- 4/5
It was good
- 1/5
We stayed here for two night and to be honest we were not impressed at all , starting with Air conditioner going for a whole 5hrs and fire extinguisher cord was exposed.
- 3/5
Good location. Need to work on cleaniness
- 2/5
The property was overpriced for the conditions of the hotel. Towels were dirty, the appliances were worn and dated and television service was spotty. Staff was pleasant.
- 2/5
Room was musty and carpet damp feeling in spots near bathroom. Bathroom molding was missing and damaged. Towel rack was too close to toilet
- 3/5
The lobby was clean and pleasant. Stay was friendly. I checked in not knowing it was a pet friendly hotel. The pictures on the site is just a selling point. Room 100 was the first room they gave me, went to the room as soon as i opened the door I wss instantly hit with a mold and mildew odor. I asked for another room 238 apperance was clean. Carpet shouldn't be in a pet friendly hotel. I could smell the urine. You must invest into your property in order to gain positive feed back. Ceiling in the hall on first floor had water damage and they had a barrel under it. Will I book here again, that will be a No. Unless there is a major renovation. The elevator need a good inspection, its on the last limb. You need more staff for maintenance and housekeeping, mom and dad are not able. Do away with trying to save money and hire some staff besides family. No guest laundry or iron or ironing boards in the room. Needs a major upgrade. Get rid of that carpet.
- 5/5
very nice
- 2/5
The property is old. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of room accommodations being provided. The pool is filled with hair, room smells of chemicals from new flooring, there's toilet paper shoved in a hole in the wall, and rusty metal attached to the shower wall.
- 2/5
There was a large bucket in the hall catching water from a celling leak. And there was a spot in our room that wasn’t leaking but there was a stain from a previous leak. The room had an odd Oder. There were several strands of long hair found on the sheets.
- 1/5
Do not recommend unless you like musty room smell, stained towels and rundown rooms.
- 3/5
Parts of the wall were still water wrinkled and every piece of furniture was made of press board so it was swollen on areas where it touched the floor. The lampshade was rusted so much that at first I thought it was a fun marbled pattern until I turned the other one on and noticed the difference. Parts of the wall corners weren't fully joined together from the swelling. There were two obvious hand prints on the headboard.... No more details needed, it goes on in every hotel bed, we all try not to think about it, but please wipe the hand prints so I don't have mental souvenirs from someone else's good time. The bed was 4 separate pieces and felt like it would fall apart at any moment. It was a platform, 2 twin mattresses, some other mattress and a topper. The cobbled together bed set the tone for the rest of everything else. The shower worked but was not clean, the comforter cover had stains on it and the towels did as well. I had just left a music festival that got cancelled so we wanted to recharge in another city before we went home and I wish I had done more research before booking the hotel. Sadly I have stayed in worse hotels but for $120 a night this gets a big no from me.
- 5/5
Clean room, and comfortable bed. Great service!
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only drawback was there were no tissues in the room.
- 5/5
Great value stay
- 5/5
Such an amazing view! Very clean and welcoming. Customer service was excellent as well! I highly recommend staying here!
- 1/5
The pictures shown of the hotel on 3rd party website, shows a business center with several computers and printers, there was only one computer and printer by the front desk. Website shows vending machines and I did not see one anywhere in the hotel. Room stated that there was a wardrobe/closet, room did not have one. Also stated iron/ironing board, room did not have. Wash clothes and towels had stains on them. When asked for more, was rudely asked if we were staying another night and I told her yes, she rolled her eyes. She went back to get me some, she was gone for 10 minutes and when she came back she handed me the wash clothes and told me that is all she had that did not have stains. The snack/bar deli that is mentioned on the website, was not stocked. When asked about switching rooms, they stated that they were booked and didnt have another room available. I am a Choice Privileges Member and I am very disappointed.
- 3/5
Not really clean
- 4/5
The AC made a loud noise in our room but other than that it was clean, and we had a nice stay.
- 4/5
You get what you pay for. Has amenities needed although does have some space for improvements. Specially towels that weren’t washed all that great, swimming pool was pretty dirty + no pool towels available. Okay breakfast and okay location, so overall very basic yet we still slept comfortably.
- 4/5
It was nice and in a convenient location for us
- 2/5
We stayed at this hotel a few weekends before this visit. We thought it was awesome that we got the exact same room however what was even more surprising is that I think we even had the same sheets and comforters. My son had had a nosebleed the last time and we still had the sheets and comforter with the blood on it not even faded one bit.
- 5/5
Great location, right off the highway
- 2/5
Additionally, there was significant noise coming from the room next to ours, which disrupted our sleep.
- 5/5
Quiet good security and very comfortable and you can access any food or attraction easily
- 3/5
The hot breakfast was good. The room's cleanliness needs more attention.
- 5/5
We were only in town for a couple nights, but everything was great.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the location and how close it was to everything.
- 5/5
The hallway leading to the Roos were disgusting. The room were clean but those carpets on the halllways were filthy. I’ll beber stay there again.
- 3/5
Bed sheets were clean, but stained. The staff was willing to change them out and they did. Breakfast was good, but was not refilled as it ran out.
- 1/5
It did not look like the picture, it was and smelled, it had leaks in the hallway ceiling, carpet was nasty. They had breakfast but the hotel smelled so bad I couldn't eat there.
- 2/5
Had undergone some renovations, however carpet were old and stained. Good location for Lookout Mountain activities. Hot breakfast was very good and the price was great!
- 1/5
The health department should shut this place down. I was put in a room that had urine stains all over the bedding the towels had blood and feces stains on them. The ac didn’t work, there were stains All over the carpets. The bathroom fan didn’t work the handicap railing was broken off and metal was sticking out and it was all rusted. You needed a tetnus shot to shower in it. The chair was broken, the room had a foul order. There was holes in the walls and toilet paper was wadded up and shoved in the holes. When I went to the front desk to complain she said there was nothing she could do. Management was supposed to contact me that was 4 days ago still nothing just crickets! Do not go here!!
- 1/5
It was the worst hotel I ever stayed in! Disgusting!! In addition to being filthy and rotting, the first room they gave us air didn’t work. Then the second room the sheets had what appeared to be blood and urine on them from the previous guest!
- 1/5
Horrible
- 1/5
our room was fairly clean. The pool area was absolutely terribly dirty in the pool was equally as bad. We had to switch our room because the air conditioner would not cool. The front desk gal was very nice and got us taken care of with another room.
- 5/5
Loved our one night stay. Very quiet and restful.
- 4/5
Room was good, beds were very comfortable, the staff was nice. The price for the room was easy on the pocket book. The hallway carpets need cleaned but rooms were clean.
- 2/5
The room was dirty upon arrival. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, the rugs torn, and gashes/holes in the door and interior walls. The bed was against the wall so you could only get in on one side (a problem when there are two people!) The rooms did NOT match the photos on the site where we made reservations. We will NEVER return to this hotel!
- 2/5
Front desk staff rude, mold in room, light fixture in bathroom hanging out of ceiling, outlets broken and with no cover, rust on refrigerator, floorboards molded and missing, carpets disgusting with stains, screaming and fighting next door, drug deal gone bad, strong smell of marijuana in halls, should I go on? Dont rent from here.
- 5/5
Great place with awesome views of the mountains! Quick place to stay with a filling breakfast.
- 5/5
This place needs repair and renovation of ther rooms.
- 4/5
Check in was smooth.
- 1/5
Bill Kwapisz 4044317769 if you have the balls to call
- 1/5
As I was browsing your site kept moving my date after i set it and during one of my checks i didnt change the date back to what i wanted and i booked the wrong day and it cost me a night i didnt want to pay for. I guarentee Expedia will never be an option for my future. What is wrong with the review other than you are being criticized. Dont ask for a review if you wont accept a negative one?
- 1/5
Will not stay again. Cleanliness was zero. Could not control the temperature in the room went to the front desk. They weren’t sure how to control it either. They were Burns on the comforter that was on the bed. The rugs were dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Everything was dirty.
- 4/5
Everything was great, but the carpet need attention, stain everywhere.
- 4/5
Close to all attractions, including Ruby's.
- 1/5
La primera habitación estaba sucia y con muchas cosas de mantenimiento y el segundo cuarto estaba infestado por chinches
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
Filthy, bugs visible. Animals (hopefully had been animals) appeared to have urinated throughout the entirety of the hallways and on carpeting in room. Smelled terrible.
- 2/5
Better if it’s a little bit more clean! Hire better cleaning stuff!! ☺️
- 3/5
Check in experience was ok. The hallways to the rooms were smelly and very dirty carpet. The room was clean. The AC didnt cool appropriately and was noisy. It's about what you expect for the lower price point. I did try another of this line in a different city and it was cleaner.
- 1/5
Absolutely awful - dirty linens and towels, no resolution from staff or from Expedia.
- 3/5
It's an older, run down property. It was fine, but the room wasn't especially clean and there was never anyone at the desk when we went by.
- 4/5
Just a night over. Very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Nice temp in room
- 3/5
Amazing area, very friendly front desk people as well!
- 5/5
Great place to go if you have pets
- 5/5
Clean. Nice staff
- 3/5
The hotel is dated and showing its age. Carpets were dirty. Beds and pillows were soso. They made noise when moving around. Back door was proped open. Had to ask for towels only 2 in room. No parking. Breakfast was decent.
- 2/5
Not a place I'd ever stay again or recommend staying but if you want the most basic of basic, for a comfortable sleep and shower, I suppose this could be for you.
- 1/5
Well to start the lobby looks great, but as soon as you walk into the hallway it is the filthiest hotel I’ve EVER been in. Stains everywhere on the carpet, absolutely nothing vacuumed, doors hardly holding on and my key to my hotel room didn’t work from the start, they claimed to fix it and came back and it wasn’t fixed again, so we were locked out everytime we left our room, which was thankfully semi clean and had clean sheets. They desperately need a maintainer and a new cleaning crew, you could hear everything from other rooms and it smelled like marijuana through the whole second floor. Never come here again. It needs to be shut down and redone.
- 1/5
Nice desk person however dirty throughout. Smelled like an ashtray. Very noisy all night.
- 2/5
Our family first became worried when we stepped out of the elevator and noticed the staining all over the carpeting in the hallway. Upon opening the door to our room we were stunned by the lack of cleanliness: stained sheets and pillowcases, grease on the couch, spilled bbq sauce on the floor, dead stinkbugs under the bed, etc. ... we went back downstairs to request a new room and although our other room was better, it was difficult to shake what we just encountered. Lessoned learned, sometimes it pays off to pay a little more for a night's stay.
- 3/5
Checked in at 9pm. The first room we checked into had not been cleaned. The man at the front desk was very nice and we were immediately given key cards to a new room, which appeared to be clean. The hotel is very dated and dark with one elevator and narrow hallways. Carpet in the halls is stained and dirty. I'm not sure if breakfast was offered but we wouldn't have stayed for it. Parking in front is limited and tight but well lit. The parking in back was better but it was dark.
- 2/5
They don’t have closet in the room, very noise, and older
- 1/5
Spent two night there. The overall condition of the property was dirty and threadbare. There were more stains on what was left of the carpet than there was carpet. The bathroom had been caulked so much it looked like modern art. The staff however was friendly and helpful. Not their fault the place is so run down. Plenty of other choices in the area. Pass by this one until it gets remodeled.
- 3/5
Our room was not very clean and did not have shower curtain.
- 2/5
The location is close to Ruby falls & Rock city
- 4/5
Let me preface that this is an older, somewhat refurbished hotel. The price reflects this detail. So if you keep this expectation in mind, you will not be entirely disappointed. The bed sheets were clean and smelling of bleach, the bathroom was quite clean as well. The bedding and the pillows were comfortable. There was enough options in the free breakfast area, remember the affordable price, after all. But the best part of this hotel was the views and the convenience to all of the local tourist areas. Very short and scenic drives. Walmart supercenter is right across the street and there's plenty of gas and fast food. Many of the hotel rooms have views of the mountains.
- 3/5
It was O.k for the price. It served its purpose. Good location to attraction. Breakfast was more than just cereal and fruit, they served eggs and sausage, and you could make waffles.I look for the indoor entrance to your room at hotels and this had that feature. There are better ones out there, but also worse. Like I said for that price and location, it was good for us.
- 3/5
While the room has been somewhat updated, carpet in halls is dirty and walls have marks.
- 5/5
Excellent stay at this price point! Miss Toni at the front desk was a pro sorting out the 5 rooms for our group and did it with a genuine smile. Thank you.
- 5/5
It was an overnight stay. It had what I needed. The rooms do need to be updated.
- 5/5
It was a great room for the Price, I always book Hotels that have waffle makers for Breakfast. And the Breakfast was good! We really enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Good location
- 4/5
Breakfast was good! Lots of options, hot and cold. Bed was nice, mattress in good shape. Not a luxurious place but very adequate. At first we had trouble with door lock and couldn't get in to the room, so Toni immediately switched us to a different room.
- 4/5
Spin arrival we had to wait at the desk for probably 10 minutes before someone came to check us in. When we got to the room it had a strong musty smell, the lamps didn’t work, the outlets couldn’t hold a plug, and the entire room itself didn’t feel or look completely cleaned. We asked the employee for a new rim and was super friendly about it. Our second room was much better and we didn’t seem to have any problems with it. Breakfast was ok… everything seemed to run out an hour into it considering we would get there around 7:30 and there would be nothing on the hot bar left. Check out was simple.
- 5/5
Toni and Barbie where very good to us we will be back.
- 5/5
Clerk E J was beyond friendly and coopetative. Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable
- 3/5
I didnt like that someone came into our room while we were sleeping.
- 5/5
Excellent place
- 5/5
Great friendly staff
- 5/5
Here is what all is great about this property & I will probably forget a lot more but: quick on and off major interstate, Walmart & steakhouse across the street, free breakfast very good, clean-clean-clean and I slept like a baby. Fabulous courteous employees!
- 5/5
Pleasant stay. Very close to things to see. Beautiful area.
- 3/5
e and fix the situation
- 3/5
There was very loud road noise at tight on the side facing the street. The building had not been updated in some time, with worn/stained carpet in the hallways, chipped paint, etc. The room was more recently updated, but there were maintenance issues like a missing light bulb, and a sink that didn't drain. The breakfast (powdered eggs, sausage patties, etc.) was cold, even the coffee and tea. The staff I interacted with were very pleasant, and it was inexpensive, but I got what I paid for.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and comfortable. I like the shampoo, conditioner and Lotion were all on the wall for easy use. The breakfast was good with waffles maker, scrambled eggs, sausage patties. Cereal, yogurt, apple, muffins, biscuits & gravy. Juice’s coffee. The carpet in the halls on the second floor were not real clean. They might be changing it to vinyl like they did on the ground level. We will be staying there again in February. They also allow pets for 20.00. Bed and pillows were comfortable. They also had a small couch in the room. Elevator was great!
- 4/5
Unfortunately, breakfast was a disappointment; by 8am there was no gravy or sausages available. There were only Luke warm eggs and white sliced bread. Breakfast is served from 6-9am; therefore, I would presume that by 8am there would still be plenty if managed properly. Checking in and checking out was a breeze and the staff was courteous, friendly and professional.
- 1/5
The mattress was insanely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. The room itself failed at serving its basic function of being a comfortable place to spend the night. Can't speak to any other amenities.
- 4/5
Staff is friendly. Carpet in the corridors is aging. Room was clean. Overall a good experience.
- 2/5
Very old and worn out place to stay. Needs a total remodel to bring it up to date. The rooms were very outdated and the dark grey paint and old carpet was super depressing. The toilet didnt work half the time and when it did it took 30 minutes to fill the bowl. The ac didnt work correctly. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay and thats saying alot. Do not be fooled by the pictures and do not pay in advance like i did because you will not get your money back so your stuck. Just spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Youll thank me later
- 5/5
Hotel is pretty close to the main attractions I liked it.
- 4/5
Freindly staff, clean, conveinient
- 5/5
Very clean and very reasonably priced. Staff was great and super helpful
- 5/5
I stay here every time I go to Chattanooga!
- 2/5
Room 115 was not clean and room looked like storage area and door was open like kicked in . Second room we got was set up odd . Receptacles did not work they have drops cords everywhere . The toilet over flowed if you flush it so we used lobby bathroom . There dangerous metal frame on beds stuck out my daughter hurt her knee on it cut and bleed . Breakfast was nasty . Cereal and coffee was good . Will not stay there again . Beds were hard and not comfy .
- 2/5
Was very disappointed ☹️ give us one room when we enter room was not clean an then they charge 20$ for pet stay when they never mentioned on reservation and finally when decide give me a room they gives us the smoke horrible room smell my husband is asthmatic they said they don’t have anymore and hotel looks like was empty I paid also a insurance for this trip .. was horrible experience won’t recommend ☹️
- 3/5
The beds were not comfortable at all. Something smelled sour when you walked in the room.
- 4/5
Stayed the night here on our way to Nashville. Liked the place, clean, great choices of breakfast.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean rooms
- 5/5
Excellent service for a good price
- 1/5
Room was dirty and walls had holes. Very unkept hotel.
- 3/5
Good.
- 3/5
Old
- 4/5
The hotel was showing a little wear and tear. Hallway rugs needed to be cleaned, and the bathroom needed some upkeep/mentanance.
- 4/5
Very nice and friendly staff
- 5/5
Enjoy stay very much.
- 3/5
Smelled in room and hallways
- 5/5
Nice hotel with good breakfast!!
- 4/5
Pretty nice hotel overall. Check-in was easy and the agent that checked us in was very nice and attentive. The location is nice. There's a Walmart directly across the street within walking distance and easy and quick access to the highway. The WiFi was horrible though, but other than that, everything else was good. I'd stay here again as well as recommend it to friends and family.
- 3/5
The clerk behind the desk was not overly friendly upon check-in. We were on the 2nd floor and the floor in the hallways was absolutely disgusting with stains. It made us want to turn around. When we got to our room, the condition of the room was much better, except for the tub which was clean, but not in good condition. But because of the condition of the hallways, it made us question how really clean the carpet was in our room. Because of that, we made sure we wore socks throughout our visit. The lights next to the bed would not come on at all.
- 5/5
Property was convenient and well centered around supporting infrastructure like Walmart and other shopping
- 2/5
Being charged for early check in and having to request for room service and towels
- 2/5
Tired hotel - dated old rooms with lots of wear.
- 3/5
Room service available upon request
- 2/5
The woman at check in was friendly and professional. Everything else was bad. The hallway carpet leading to the room was stained. The room number plaque to the room was taped to the wall. Opening the door caused it to scrape across the flooring leaving a gouge in the flooring. Some of the vinyl flooring was peeling. The carpet had a sticky stain. While generally clean, the room was obviously old and deteriorating. There was no closet or wardrobe to hang clothes, only a hook on the wall. The walls were thin and transmitted noises. Not only could you hear walking on the floor above but the ceiling creaked with each step. Not worth $180 plus taxes.
- 5/5
Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants
- 4/5
The hotel is a bit run down, but it is clean and the price is right. The staff is courteous. The room was comfortable. It wasn’t something to write home about (lol)but we were quite satisfied and would stay there again.
- 4/5
Quick trip to Chattanooga for a half marathon.
- 4/5
Great folks property clean and a little run down
- 3/5
For the price it was ok, but very dated. Needs upgraded. Nobody at front desk for 15 minutes and then had trouble checking us in when he came back.
- 5/5
Bed linens and towels could use an upgrade. Good value for the $.
- 3/5
Most things were fine. The issue was cleanliness. There was hair in the shower and the shower head was absolutely horrible. Zero water pressure and the head was spraying sideways. The headboards front and top were covered with dust.
- 1/5
I usually do not leave reviews for hotels. But this hotel was exceptionally horrible. There was mold in the basin of the shower, there was dirt in every corner that had buildup of God knows what, it smelled musty and dank. We wore socks and clothes that covered us fully to bed because we didn’t know if anything else was clean.
