This place was great. Quiet, Clean and the property was very well maintained. The staff were very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Chattanooga.

The hotel is literally beside a Wendy's, and many other places to eat, such as Waffle House and Cracker Barrel. The breakfast is small but cute. The breakfast itself included biscuits, sausage, yogurt, waffles, fruit, and cereals. It was good enough to start the day. What impressed me most was the cleaning and comfort. Beds are super comfortable, sheets smell clean, and the bathroom was spotless. I saw two housekeepers from India cleaning the room doors and even the A/C boxes. I never saw something like that. I certainly would stay there again. It could be better if management includes bacon and cheese on the breakfast menu and leaves a to-go bag for guests in the breakfast area. Also, another waffle machine would be a great addition.

Friendly staff and the place is in the middle of doing some upgrades. I smoke and I’m glad that this is only one of a very few motels that has smoking rooms, which is a lot more convenient than having to go outside or smoke in your vehicle. You feel like you can relax here without having to go outside every few hours.

Did not like the hard flooring throughout our room. The online photos showed carpeting. We would have loved carpet by the bed area. The hard flooring was not comfortable to walk on, and very slippery for our senior dog traveling with us.

Staff was not helpful. Was charged $20 for an identical non smoking room because Hotels.com put me in a smoking room. The bed sank down in the middle so badly it was difficult to get out of bed.

Only bad thing was the vent in the bathroom wasn't working. So it was stuffy.

Accidentally booked a smoking room. Which didn’t even know still existed these days. So I had to pay an extra $35 for a non smoking room. Upon checking in I asked if I could go look at the room first and the lady at the front desk told me no. This place was not worth the price we paid. Don’t think we’ll be returning. It was just ok. Not great.

The property manager was so disrespectful & mean to me & my two young children. I think it was a race thing , we got put out of the pool & room because of someone else’s doing. He had no remorse for me being pregnant or driving miles to visit & choose to stay at his hotel . I nearly begged & cried , so did my children to stay b/c we live 4 hours away & had just got there that morning .. I was very unhappy, discriminated against & all around disgusted.

Good price, near the city but not inside the city which is what we wanted. This was literally 10minutes from the aquarium. Walmart is behind. Liquor store is next door and fast food restaurants are around. Very convenient area.

Check in was great. Overall the room was comfortable. They only set aside a few rooms for pets and as always it's best to message ahead of time. Reason for low score is because of late commers checking in and noisy patrons but you get this with the price point.

We were looking for a place to spend the night traveling during spring break. We checked in, was in the room about five minutes and checked out. I don’t mind run down, but the room was dirty. Dirty toilet, dirty bathroom floors, everything was old and stained. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there even one night with our two daughters.

The over powering smell of deodorizer and smelly cart was AWFUL!!! The rest of the place was clean though. It’s been 12 hours since I left and the smell is still burning my nose and lungs.

Ok for overnight. We had 4 rooms. All older mattresses with dips and springs being felt. Rooms were ok but very dated. Be careful at night in that area. There's homeless people living in the woods next door betweeen Logan's and the motel. Not much choice for breakfast but it was ok.

Our room was not cleaned for the entire four night stay - not even the garbage was taken out. I was cleaning, emptying trash, getting more cups and coffee, etc. just like I was at home, not paying for a hotel room.

I was travelling with my wife and dog. I used the pet friendly filter to make sure to get a pet friendly rooms. I booked a single king bed room, non smoking, for 1 night. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk clerk told me because of their pet policy I was not allowed to have the room I booked. She then said all she can do is give me a smoking room with 2 double beds. That was the only room she would let me have. When I asked if I could have a refund since she was not giving me the room I booked, she told me, since I booked through hotels.com I was not allowed to have a refund. The next morning, the same clerk, refused to print a copy of my receipt. She then called her manager, who I guess lives in the apartment above the front office, came downstairs, said it is Expedia 's responsibility to give me a receipt. After I strongly insisted he provide me proof of charge, he reluctantly provided me a copy of my receipt. Both the clerk and manager were wearing sweatpants and slippers. Customer service 101 says provide the room I booked or give me a refund, instead they locked me into a bait and switch. My wife and smelled of cigarette smoke the whole 6 hour drive home after staying in that room. Which also led to us having increased coughing and sneezing since we are non smokers and it irritated our nasal passages. The staff refused accountability and just kept blaming Expedia. I felt like I was being discriminatefld because I used Expedia.

The property was easy to find and very convenient. It was clean and close to the places we wanted to visit. I am a smoker and this was one of the only places with a smoking room available. Most of the properties were smoke free. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay

Always stay here on our way through Chattanooga. Rooms are always pretty clean and always as we expect them. Staff is great! Pool is clean and open pretty late. I’ll be back next year.

Average. The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though there was strong air freshener. The bathroom door latch didn't work. The bathroom door would open. It wasn't great for the price. ($117) I will stay up higher across the road next time.

Cons: The actual property looks nothing like the photos. The property is extremely dated and run down. The grounds need a lot of tlc. This was a motel, not a hotel.

Property dated, need at least Queen size beds instead of doubles in two bed rooms. Need more linens in rooms. Noted several empty rooms on lower two floors but was assigned rooms on the third floor. Would have preferred closer to the ground since have to use stairs. Appeared clean and the room was less expensive than surrounding newer properties so maybe my expectations were too high.

Old hotel not vet comhy room had odor

It was a very good stay me and my girlfriend had a super dinner and then a wonderful night together sure I would stay again and use this

No elevator-I did see this in the description after the fact, but after a 12 hour drive, it was not a pleasant surprise! Breakfast our second morning was very disappointing. We arrived an hour before they quit serving and there was an empty spot and serving spoon for the scrambled eggs, so we figured they were in the process of getting more. When I asked the attendant if there were more eggs, she just said no with no further explanation and walked away. Our experience at the Best Western in Navarre on our next stop was so much better!

Upon arrival desk clerk couldn't find our reservation (Expedia) causing much uneeded stress. Property is in very poor repair...peeling paint, stained carpets, limited TV, and overall feeling of below standards of other Best Westerns we have frequented over the years.

The hotel is great for the price. Very friendly staff. Staff is always very helpful. I come in town twice a month and i will always stay here. They have smoking rooms. There is also a homeless camp in the woods next door but they usually dont bother you. I will continue to stay here. I recommend anyone that wants a good room for a great price and very welcoming.

Facilities could use an upgrade, particularly the tub floor was plastic and would shift when I stepped in. I booked with Expedia and when I arrived, I asked if I could switch which card I charged it to, she said no, it was not possible .Other hotel on my trip had no problem switching it.

One negative-- the beautiful wood look flooring could have been cleaner. Walking barefoot showed that it was a little dirty. Maybe since it was a pet friendly room, that is not a big deal. But it should have been mopped.

property needs updating. Mattresses very uncomfortable. Our first room smelled very terribly when opened room. The hotel quickly switched rooms without question. The second room, the AC went out. Again, the hotel moved us without question. The AC in that room was very loud when the AC kicked on. Food was less than desirable. We will be staying elsewhere next time we are in town.

Late night driving stop. Service was unfriendly. Room appeared clean until you looked closer. A few small bugs ran across the floor. Bathroom dirty and complimentary items looked used. Avoid if possible.

The doesn't look anything like the pictures. The room had a cracked sink, a noisy toilet, hair from prevous people where you hang the clothes. Breakfast very basic.

Signed that the room was non smoking with a $250 fine if smoked in…yet both rooms were obviously smoked in and very very smelly. If we weren’t traveling with small children arriving so late we would not have stayed here. One of the rooms had ripped carpet and a very large stain on the carpet. The floors were damp. Overall Gross. But the gal checking us in was great!

Everything was great EXCEPT the floors needed a good mopping. We ruined all of our socks they were so black. But the housekeepers are HARD WORKING !! They are also very nice. We enjoyed breakfast. Eggs sausage the best gravy waffles werent a big fan of the biscuits they had to leave them almost almost done because the warmer made them hard. They had 3 kinds of cereal decaf and regular coffe apple and orange juice assorted yogurts assorted oatmeal. Bread for toast jelly butter and hot syrup for the waffles. The pool looked lovely but i got gout in my foot and couldn't walk well. All in all it was a great week.

Pros - Low price, Less than 5 miles to several attractions (Ruby Falls, Lookout Mt, Rock City, Tennessee Aquarium) Several close restaurants and a Walmart just 100 feet away. Cons - No adjoining rooms were available, (Even though the Hotels.com website clearly lists it as avail) This was a big disappointment as I was traveling with young children and specifically choose this hotel for the adjoining rooms. Also the rooms had older furniture, dingy carpet, and smelled smoky even though they are listed as non-smoking. So-so complimentary breakfast of powdered eggs, bagels, coffee.

The rooms were neat and clean, it was in the perfect location for all we had planned to do, and a safe place for us to lay our heads down and sleep.
