Charming and historic property curated with antiques perfectly situated in the historic district of Charlottesville. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful and the breakfasts were innovative and delicious. Well done to all. Would like to have stayed longer!

Fabulous very old brick house from 1785. Gorgeous interior. Modernized, and without removing the charm and deep sense of history. Really lovely. Check-In was odd. Had to wait at the door for a while before someone came to let us in. We were offered a room upgrade for more money; no thanks. Given instructions on how to lock and unlock doors, which was unnecessary. Given instructions on how to use the thermostat; also unnecessary. Just an odd introduction, you know? Everything else was FAB! Including the very lovely breakfast!!!

This Inn is incredible, it is like staying at a Designer Showcase house, it is so beautifully appointed with wonderful antiques and art. Yet it is so comfortable and welcoming! Candace the owner and the entire staff are great and make you feel so special. Can’t wait for my next stay and I highly recommend!

They gave us a complementary strawberries cover with chocolate. And they promise a glass of wine or beer that we never got. I think as they ask our time of arrival, they should have put in the room priority that time. Remembering that weekend was Valente's. But we appreciate the gesture since was complementary.

The inn is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are huge, beautifully appointed and a full of stunning art and antiques. It is nestled in the historic area of Charlottesville with charming parks and buildings all around. Easily accessible from I64. The staff is most welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was gourmet, plentiful and served in the elegant living and dining rooms. Free parking in back.

Delicious, freshly-made breakfast, with a selection of 3 differing entrees that catered to omnivore, gluten-free and vegetarian guests. Very friendly and attentive staff. Reminded me of a classic British B&B. They provided a 24 hour hallway beverage service with housemade cookies and fresh fruit, along with coffee and tea. The entire place was uniquely decorated with antiques from the area, lending a historic, regional air. I suppose a mini fridge in the room would've been helpful. But as we only stayed one night, it wasn't a big problem.
