Breakfast was delicious but a little pricey. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The facility was very clean and comfortable.

Lobby was very nice. Rooms were decent. Renovated but cheaply done. Ice makers were broken on two floors. Breakfast was deceiving. Told by front desk breakfast from 6-9am in the lobby. Didn't know you had to pay for it! $16 per person.

This hotel is very welcoming of dogs. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. I would stay here again.

The elevator wasn’t working and none of the ice machines on any floor were working. Just not as nice as it used to be.

We have stayed here in the past and did not have issues but this time our room smelled like wet dog and the AC unit was extremely loud. We couldn’t sleep due to the loudness of the unit so we had to turn it off and then the room got hot so again had trouble sleeping. We arrived late and just needed to bed to sleep in for the night so we didn’t say anything but I don’t think I’ll stay here again my next time through. It is next to a Starbucks and easy to get to and from the interstate which is why we normally stay here on our way to NC. The guy at the desk that checked us in was very nice and gave us a lot of tips of places to get at while in NC. Just make sure to avoid rook 203 if you stay here.

We booked this hotel for the pool option. Unfortunately the pool was out of action during our stay. The location is good with shopping and other eating options close by.

Clean, fresh, quiet hotel. Comfy bed. 24 hour coffee in the lobby with the fresh grind machines. Good breakfast. And the front desk staff were absolutely so sweet and friendly, both evening and daytime.

There was almost no lighting in the room or the bathroom. It was very difficult to see anything in the bathroom. It's also very noisy as it's closer to an interstate than we thought. People were nice, though.

Even though they were on sternos, all the food was cold. that was a terrible breakfast for the money we spent. We decided not to stay the 2nd night.

The hotel location was fine and the parking was safe and easy. There were many big events in the area during our stay and we understood why the room rate was so high. The hotel offered an expensive buffet breakfast that was only available if you ate it there. That was disappointing.

The hotel was relatively close to The Downtown Mall, whether yourself or by uber/Lyft. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. They gave the best recommendations for eateries and events! Our keys stopped working our final night in, but the front desk was quick to fix that!

Room was great - nicely renovated. Lovely lounge / restaurant. Front desk peeps very helpful. BIGGEST DRAWBACK - noise from highway was unreal. We heard every truck shift and racing engine. Literally kept us up and we're not light sleepers. Breakfast didn't start til 7:30, and menu offered small selection.

Breakfast is not included at this property, but otherwise everything was perfect. The beds were really comfortable and the location was convenient both to Monticello and to local restaurants and stores.

The staff were very nice and super helpful but the elevators weren’t working and the hallways were extremely hot.

The check-in process was significantly delayed. I arrived around 1:30am after traveling, and unfortunately, the room keys did not work. Being unable to access my room for nearly an hour after a long journey was quite frustrating. I was also dissatisfied with the housekeeping. The service felt minimal—beds were made with what seemed like the same sheets, and surfaces were not wiped down. I understand there may have been a language barrier, as the housekeeper mentioned she did not speak English. I attempted to use a translator app, and the manager also spoke with her, but the issue did not improve. Eventually, I chose to decline housekeeping for my last two days. In situations like this, I believe management should follow up to ensure cleaning standards are met, especially when there may be communication challenges or new staff involved. Overall, I do not feel the stay was worth the cost of over a thousand dollars for six nights. I also left early and was unable to speak with anyone at reception, as no one was available at checkout. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was very disappointing.

Location - accessible to most areas. 45 min walk from Scott Stadium (impossible to get Ubers, so walking distance is important) Extremely loud. Staff in the corridors early morning (we had a ground floor room)… any noise by the elevators echoes through the building. Was extremely expensive for a pretty average hotel

No working elevator for a room on the third floor, no air conditioning in the hallway, only one entrance for the entire building. Terrible cancellation policies. Overall not a pleasant experience.

The 1st floor elevator call button wasn't working. So you either had to schlep your stuff up to the second floor and get the elevator there, or, you could wall up to your room. The desk staff were very apologetic and offered to have the elevator dispatched from the upper floors back to the first floor. Just a hassle. Room was fine but did notice some small black ants on the countertop both at night and the next morning. Rooms appeared to have been upgraded, but the hall carpet was worn in several places.

They also charged $25 on our credit card for “incidentals” which we did not have any of. Refund takes a few days the desk clerk said. This most likely will prevent us from staying there again.

We love pizza so once we settled in for our one night stay we walked across the entrance street for totally yummy takeout at Christian's Pizza. Next, finding our movie on the TV in the room for pizza and a movie. That was our problem. Pizza beckoning from its warm box, and we could not find the TV channel listing. Looked everywhere. Nope. We finally gave up and enjoyed supper over what we could find with random going thru channels. Turns out I found the next morning at leaving, they've done away with printed channel guides and leave it to you to realize that Channel 2 is the guide. Duh, right? My suggestion: the check-in clerk should say so at check in, and the cleaning staff should set the TV to Channel 2 before leaving. Beyond that, a good, clean, comfy stay.

This was the second time booking with this location. It always smells clean when you enter and you'd never know they were pet friendly unless you saw the animals as it does not smell like animals. The staff is nice, the price versus quality is within range, and it is located near a bit of everything. Will book here again, just not during certain UVA event related times as it would appear as with others...there is some price gouging.

A nice comfortable room with the amenities you need. Pool was huge. They had all you would need for a short stay. The staff was extremely professional, helpful and courteous. The only drawback was they skipped our room when house cleaning.

We stayed one night as we passed through driving to Outer Banks. Location is great and close to downtown Charlottesville without being directly in downtown are. AC unit in the room was loud and the toilet was wobbly.

This hotel is a great location to many of the area attractions. The hotel is modern and everything was great, with the exception of the room smelling like marijuana. It was the perfect place for a girls trip. The price was great too!

The hotel has a mini strip mall with Pizza and Starbucks. But for what we stayed for it was good. Also we went to the the wineries and it was in just 10 minutes.

I stayed 7/18-7/20/25. On the night of the 19th, I noticed some cookies at the front desk, I took one and it was so hard, it broke a tooth and my filling fell out. The next morning on check out date, I removed a towel from the towel hook in the bathroom and the hook was loose and fell off the wall onto the top of my bare foot. I'm still debating to have it x-rayed, because it still hurts! My stay was terrible!

The area is moderately busy, shopping centers with dining and convenience all along the highway. Plentiful parking and easy visibility all around the hotel. The room is very very nice, comfortable, clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Room has good size bathroom and large comfortable bed. I'm very happy with the room and amenities.

I didn't like the staff, the receptionist wasn't cooperative enough. The bar attendant in the morning was mean and not friendly. The door fob didn't work, I have to recharge it and it barely worked.

Great Location. Close to food and grocery stores. Room was very nice. I didn't like being woken up by house keeping at 8:30 in the morning when checkout is at 12. It looked like she was knocking on all the doors.

Easy stay, no issues, everything as expected and better.

This hotel is very clean, the service was excellent, and it was a very comfortable stay. I loved the Dove products in the bathroom. Also was one of the quickest check ins I’ve ever had at a hotel!

Clerk would not print out a bill for me. Door to bathroom would not slide easily and we thought when the room was cleaned someone would notice. I had to report it and it was fixed shortly after that. TV channel selection was not good. Shower head needs to be cleaned or adjusted.

This place was perfect location for visiting local Wineries. We especially enjoyed Trump Winery. Motel was clean and staff excellent. We were very impressed with breakfast and restaurant staff. Armando was amazing. Food and staff was best service all weekend.

The front desk was very helpful. Moving rooms was mad possible to the room one door down. Maintenance did arrive the very next morning. We completely understand it being the weekend that maintenance is probably only on call. I would suggest though that when they have a service call, you have the following protocol in place: 1. Have some sort of identification tag or such on the employee's person. 2. Have a way to notify the room guest that maintenance is on sight, and would like to come up for repairs. It was a bit startling for my daughter to have a strange man enter her room as she was sleeping. She did hear him knock, but did not have time to answer the door before he came in himself. Thank you for your prompt response though. Your front desk staff for all your shifts were friendly, helpful, and professional.

We had a very good single night stay. It was as expected and the room had all of the amenities that we needed.

Staff was great. Breakfast very good. Initial room smelled like a dog...it was changed immediately with no problems.

It was very nice and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. We did miss having a breakfast buffet included in the price. That is always a nice perk. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I'm not sure why the property is rated closer to an 8, but we had a very good experience. There were a couple of glitches with the heat, but the room cooled off while we went to dinner. $20 pet fee.

This property is very close to I-64 so it is not quiet. The elevator was questionable, making a clunking noise. We hoped it didn't fail.

Mattress lumpy, pillows unsupported, smelled over other people’s scalps, restaurant not open for meals, front desk person couldn’t answer questions about area or directions. Safe, quiet inside, parking sufficient.

Convenient to dining and shopping; breakfast at the hotel was basic, with our attentive waiter stepping it up a notch.

One elevator was out and the other was slow and push a botton to open the door.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Monticello. It was very clean and had breakfast there. There was also a great pizza place near.
