    I was unaware I had to walk up steps to get to my room that was in the 3rd floor. Entering the room, we immediately noticed 2 roaches in the bathroom. (We took pictures) The room had a funny smell. We went back to the lobby to ask for our money back to check into another hotel. We were told that we had to contact the 3rd party who we booked the hotel through for them to contact the manager at super 8 on Monday. We then asked to be transferred to another room on the first floor. We were told there were no other rooms available at first. Several minutes later, the guy mysteriously found a room on the first floor. We entered that room and it wasn't any better. That room had a horrible smell as well. One of the pillow cases on the bed had not been changed as it was a fingernail inside the pillow case and fell out when I picked up the pillow. The ice machine was broken and the smoke detector was missing off the ceiling. This hotel experience was horrible. I've stayed at a few other Super 8 hotels in different states. This by far was the worst ever.

    I had booked a room and checked in around 9 pm.The staff gave me the key card, but it didn't work when I tried to enter my room. I approached the staff three times, back and forth, yet still couldn't get in. On the fourth attempt, the employee accompanied me with his master key, but that also failed to open the door. He then told me the door lock might be out of power, so they moved me to another room. In this new room, the bathroom sink was unusable, the toilet wobbled when sat on, and there was no Wi-Fi available—inside the room, the signal was extremely poor.

    The staff was rude and confrontational. The air conditioning didn’t work, the ceiling was falling in the shower while I was showering. There wasn’t anyone at the front desk to report it to or at least they wouldn’t answer the phone.

    Did not have an actual breakfast despite having filter for that on HOTELS.com before booking. Room was a bit beat up, smoke detector hanging from ceiling and A/C a bit rough looking.

That room was fine other than the interior door. The door had a brownish/red substance that kinda looked like blood splattered on it.     Nothing The room is dirty upon check inn, as if they didn’t clean it. The front desk Indian guy who checked me in didn’t’t even explain to me why he need to write my credit card information as well as my home address on the piece of paper. When I check out, the Indian lady was too busy talking to her phone and told me to wait till she finish her phone call!

    I got a room which had strong cigarettes odour. Didn't get a good night sleep. The room is outdated and could sure use an upgrade. For breakfast, there was just coffee and muffins nothing else. Positive note, friendly staff. Thank you

    This is an older location but still the toilet seat was broken and they had a leak somewhere and had sheets out in the hall where the water was puddling. Staff was very friendly and allowed me a noon check out time.

    Not good! 1st off, Charolette address but it’s more Rock Hill…which was disappointing for me because I thought I was going to be closer to Uptown where my Airbnb was the following night. Upon arriving the guy at the front desk (who was super nice, everyone here was) said I had booked a smoking room. I don’t smoke so he changed it. I dragged my stuff in (it says on the site, no elevator-not a big deal) smelled like cigarettes, in the hallways, Room was nothing special and pretty much the bare minimum. Still I was fine with that I booked this 3 hrs before check in. All i really needed was a shower and a place to crash overnight. Tried to settle in, back at the lobby, Ice machine broken. Then the smoke detector starts chirping, called lobby and he brought another one. Although I told him it was a 9v he brought AA’s. He didn’t have a new battery. I tried the alarm clock-dead. I asked him to grab one from another room-dead. Across the street?-can’t do it. Put me in a different room because I couldn’t listen to that thing all night. “You may just need to put your earbuds in to sleep.”…not cutting it so he gave me another room. I transferred all my stuff to that room before realizing that the tv didn’t work. Packed up again and moved to ANOTHER room. 3 Total. In the morning, No breakfast whatsoever. Not even coffee & no pot in the room. Bathroom was falling apart. Outlet shocked the crap out of me. Looks burnt. Shower wasn’t hot but at least there was pressure.

    I’m pretty sure it was the owner, and her son that were working at the desk and they were both extremely nice, and very helpful. It took a pretty long while to get the deposit back, but could possibly be my fault for using 2 different cards for the transaction.

    Stayed here for one night for a concert. I do believe you get what you pay for and it being $60 a night it was worth the $60 but… out of three lights in the living area. Only one of them worked, the outlet at the bed did not work. The hairdryer did not work, and the lock on the door was very wobbly. But the room itself was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The heating and air-conditioning worked. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. A TV a nice bathroom and shower although I did not get the chair out of the shower since it did not have a hairdryer that worked. Overall, the property was relatively safe had a lot of parking spaces. It had proper lighting everywhere and it was easy to get to. It was right next to a waffle house within walking distance not 100% sure I would stay there again but the one night that I had to stay there, it was pretty good.

    The staff was fine but this location really needs a furniture refresh - the tables and nightstands in the room had old cigarette burn marks, the TV had a color issue, and the bed felt like a trampoline with a sheet tossed over it. No bedbugs or other undesirable organics though.

Returned to the hotel around 1am from the theme park and there was lots of people loitering in the parking lot. Checked out at 10 am and more people outside smoking pot. Very questionable area. Only pro is it is close to Carowinds.

    The young man that checked us in didnt speak English well. We paid for a King size bed with a microwave and when we arrived was told by this man that they only had one king size bed and it was already given away. We got a Queen size bed room 204 with no microwave. The bathroom sink knob was a pull kind and it was loose, it would spray you and drown everything on the sink when you pulled the water faucet on. The water pressure was really good in the sink and shower though and the room didnt have any bugs this was the only plus of the room or motel. The ceiling over the shower was buckled and ready to fall in from apparently a water leak from upstairs. The room was very dimmed lighted and old mis matched furniture. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. The room didn’t look like the room on the internet. The breakfast was pitiful and they turned off the coffee exactly at 9! So don’t even think of afternoon coffee there. The people at the desk weren’t helpful or friendly and the entire motel smelled like Pot!! Towels and bedding smelled bad.

    The room was full of dead cockroaches as you can and dried up bedbugs, mold on the windowsill and bathroom, we stayed in the room for 10 minutes and left and checked in at Wyndham gardens, i lost 195 dollars on this dump, this was the absolutely worst hotel, don't let the photo fool you, it does not reflect the outside appearance of the hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE, FILTHY, the hotel should not be listed. same you you.

    The room was full of dead cockroaches as you can and dried up bedbugs, mold on the windowsill and bathroom, we stayed in the room for 10 minutes and left and checked in at Wyndham gardens, i lost 195 dollars on this dump, this was the absolutely worst hotel, don't let the photo fool you, it does not reflect the outside appearance of the hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE, FILTHY, the hotel should not be listed. same you you.

    We ended up in a room with Mix match furniture. That wasn't ideal but could be tolerated. However, the carpet was so filthy. It had stains everywhere and when we took off our socks our feet became sticky when we walked across the floor. The room also smelled of urine and we couldn't even open the window to air out the smell. There was also no blanket in the room. There was only sheets and a top cover. The bathroom tile grout was dirty and for the Continental breakfast there was just muffins and packages. I have been staying at this chain for many years and I have never run across Such a disgrace.

    Property is old.....it needs repairs. It is clean for old and the staff were amazing and polite. Beds could be more comfy but it was quiet and cold. Honestly for $50 there are many worse and very few as good. Better than dropping $150 or $200 for a big name just to sleep 8 hours.

    DO NOT STAY HERE. A cash hold at FOUR TIMES the room rate makes no sense at all. They request this at the time of check in so you don't know its coming and further, its selectively applied.The clerk was rude, disrespectful and unreasoning. Her boyfriend who is not an employee of the hotel was hanging out in the lobby and only made matters worse by injecting himself into the situation.     The night desk clerk was the absolute rudest desk clerk we've ever encountered (and we travel approximately 150 nights per year so thats a lot of encounters to compare to) .. and not just to us but to everyone we saw her encounter. She was condesending and snappy to everyone. At one point one of our group went to ask for an extra towel and she was sleeping even. The daytime staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

    Within the first five minutes in the room, I saw a roach crawling across the entertainment center. The mold in the shower was a nice touch. Water damage on sink in the bathroom to where it was falling apart. Not to mention, the poo splatters on the outside of the toilet.

    As soon as I walked in at 3pm, the desk attendant put his hand up and said “not yet sir”. I proceeded to wait; there was a party before me. Once it was my turn, it took 45 minutes for the employee, after calling unhelpful Expedia support, to assign me a room. Went to my first room and it was still being cleaned. I then went back, was assigned a different room, and immediately left after seeing the bug infestation. As a compliment, the cleaning lady was kind and working her butt off; must be primarily an infrastructure issue. The hotel additionally charged me an additional $43.35.

    This place was infested with roaches. Mini fridge also with roaches inside. Bedding cover very old, worn with hole. Bathroom dirty and needs to be updated. Paid for 2 night and had to leave after 1st night due to conditions.

    The front desk in the lobby has a security shield after dark. The room had a strange odor. "Breakfast" consisted of an Otis Spunkmeyer muffin. I wouldn't stay there again.

    Clerk behind the desk was very disinterested in anything but his phone. Couldn't provide a recommendation for a good steakhouse. Had to announce my presence everytime I went to the counter to get him to look up from his phone. Thinnest comforter I've ever experienced. Room was clean, but very worn. Railroad tracks are right behind the hotel. The area feels very industrial by day and sketchy by night. I would not stay here if I was traveling with a female or children. Never again.

    The receptionist are super slow at checking in. Also, no one was there during my check out. It says breakfast included, BS, only coffee and juice is available. Coffee tastes terrible, I couldn’t drink a sip. Broken bathroom door lock. The hallway smells like smoke shop. Stayed on 3/2/24

    The bathroom tub was scummy, hair around sink. The included breakfast was coffee and juice. Only open restaurant in the area that was open at 6:15 in the evening was waffle house. All fast food was closed. Hair dryer did not work.

    Non smoking room. All the furniture had cigarette burns. The bed cover had burn marks. The floor was a non smoking floor and smelled of weed.

    Honestly, I want a refund for this stay. The hotel is in terrible condition. The AC hardly works. The walls are yellow. The vending machines are full of expired food. The AC in my room was broken. The wall outlets are missing and look unsafe. The fire alarm in my room was broken. The fan in the bathroom had coffee filters(?) stuck in it, so it didn't work. The bathroom sink leaked water from underneath whenever I used it. I wasn't able to sleep well without much air. It's just not a good place. I could hear yelling through the walls. My key card stopped working the second day. There were suspicious people hanging around outside. Nothing felt comfortable.

    There is nothing good to say about this hotel. The room looks like someone got in a fight and they just left it holes in walls,sticky counter tops, the bed sheets smell like cigarette smoke and comforter has burn holes it in. The bathroom the tile is all busted up it feels like you'll fall through floor while sitting on the toilet, the shower has hair that doesn't belong to us, the blow dry has been cut off the cord. Let's not forget that the closest fire exit door is bolted shut. Overall this is the worst by Wyndham hotel I've ever stayed in

    The staff for the front desk didn't inform me that we couldn't use the tube for a bath. The bed sheets where dirty the hallway was hot at night and during the day. Then the loud music in the parking lot from other guests and drinking in the parking lot beer bottle caps in parking lot like 30 of them i counted before leaving today. Then o want a refund of my money because the stay was not good because the staff was never able to be found then the room was nasty the hotel hallway smelled like weed and beer. I'll be contacting the corporate office over my stay ill bever stay there again. Only one outlet work one had bugs coming out of it. Room was small and to much stuff in the room for ot to be a king suite.

    The blanket was too thin (it was essentially a SLIGHTLY thicker sheet). Also, they advertised that they had free breakfast, but all they had was coffee and juice, and the juice machine was broken! Finally, the security bar for the door was broken.

    They even gave us a key to our room, which had not even been cleaned. And then second guessed me when I told him it was dirty, like I cannot tell a room is dirty by the beds not even being made, and dirty towels all over the room.

    Our room was filthy! Bugs on floor, refrigerator did not work, curtains hanging half off, carpet was dirty, our pillows were size of throw pillows and we were told we couldn’t have extra pillows. We were moved to another room for our second night but it was just as bad. Breakfast was stated when we made reservations but we were told no breakfast just coffee. The area did not feel safe. We were also told if we hadn’t booked online it would have been cheaper using the CDL license.

    Strobe lights flash after 11pm until 7am on both sides of building, Staff said that owner knows about it and refuses to fix it. Requested to move rooms, was denied until shift change after midnight. Then was allowed to move rooms where air worked slightly better and strobe light was slightly less bright

    the days of a nice clean rooms for a good price is long gone. This room half the light bulbs where missing for the lights. The covers for the bed had cigarett burn holes in them. The was a muddy looking stain un the fridge and in the bath room there was black spots on the walls and edges of the titles. There was clouds of weeds smoke right in front of the main door to get in. I dont care if you smoke but dont do it infront of the main entrince. On the site it said they served breakfast which this one did not so we went to waffle house just outside the parking lot. I had a two night Stay booked and i checked out early due to the conditoins of the room.
