The property was absolutely disgusting. The photos provided on here are not accurate, it is not the same property. The smell of the place was awful, there was a hole in our room wall, there was filth on the walls. This place was atrocious, I went and bought new sheets and cleaning supplies to be able to stay here. I will never and I mean EVER come back to this place.

I booked an additional day for my stranded driver - the name on the reservation was incorrect - I caught the error within a few minute - EXPEDIA NOR THE HOTEL would make the correction and honor the reservation- NEITHER WOULD THEY REFUND THE RESERVATION WITH THE WRONG NAME!!!! Now I wouldn’t be so upset if the app didn’t ask to repeat the stay - I clicked and paid and there lies the problem. I will never book with either of them again. DO BETTER!!!

We should have known when we pulled in and Police had assigned parking spots this was a questionable establishment. The entire facility can't even call this a hotel is filthy. It is marketed as an extended stay hotel but in reality it is a homeless shelter you get to pay to stay in. Never in all our travels have we felt the need or urgency to vacate a hotel room. When we brought our concerns to the front desk we were offered another room but can honestly say we knew from what we had seen so far it was not going to be an improvement. We had to find another hotel at 1130pm on a Friday night after traveling 12 hours. We are still waiting on Expedia to provide a refund.

Absolutely nothing when we arrive. The room in the hotel looks nothing like the advertise photos got into the room. We could barely get the door open. We had to use excessive force as we looked at the bed. There were literally stains all over the bedding. It looks like the room was not cleaned at all so me and my husband stepped outside to sit in the car and discuss if we wanted to leave or not, but it was already past midnight and hard to find a room in the area and we both were very tired so we figured we would cut the TV on watch some TV and until we fall asleep. When we went back into the room and sat at the table, we could hear people talking as if they were standing in the room with us so he peeled back the blinds just to see that the window was completely open with no screen very dangerous because the window sits low to the ground and we were on the first floor, so anyone could’ve easily access the room once we cut the TV on the screen was busted. I immediately took my phone out and made a video and went to the front desk making the front desk agent aware in his response was oh I already put it in my notes. He did not offer to fix the TV replace it or anything so just for an idea of how our night went. It was sleepless and on top of that they took my incidental fee and charged it to my card and did not refund it and will not answer the phone total scam. Everything

The hallways are terribly saturated with cigarette smell, the room I had was infested with cockroaches, the bathroom amenities were very limited, and the bathroom itself had a dripping noise that was uncomfortable to hear all night.

It was a very good place to stay and if you are traveling and have forgotten any essential item, there is a store in the lobby of the hotel itself and you can buy from it. This is a good facilities

Elevator isn't working & only room available was on 4th floor. At check in note was on desk saying "call this number we are on property helping other guests" - I called the number and the lady answered on speaker from behind the wall. In my opinion she just wanted to be back there sitting/ on phone etc instead of up front on camera.

There were cockroaches in our room. The lobby, elevator, stairwells, and hallways reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. Claiming to be a smoke-free hotel. I was an employee of Choice Hotels and their standard for cleanliness was very high, this hotel doesn't deserve the accreditation for being a Choice Hotels. When I arrived, the room was in such poor condition that I spent an hour and 45 minutes cleaning it myself, including leaving the property to buy my own cleaning supplies. I didn’t bother asking for a different room because I doubted it would have been any better. The lobby also felt unwelcoming. The setup was so exaggerated in its attempt to appear secure that it created an uncomfortable atmosphere instead of a sense of safety. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, the condition of the lobby, and the general environment made my stay far from acceptable. I won’t be returning and would recommend looking at other options in Charlotte for a cleaner and more professional experience.

This hotel isn't located in an ideal, safe location. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with a lack of care, concern, & good customer service. The hotel charged my card before I even showed up to check-in. The front desk staff was very rude & argumentative. Since the reservation was booked through a third party, they requested that I call them to make changes. I was originally going to stay 2 nights, but the appearance, smell, disrespectful staff, location, & overall level of care, I refused to stay 2 nights, which is why I had to contact the third party to modify my reservation & having them contact the hotel's staff. When we got to our room, it was disturbing on so many levels. There was only one wash cloth, one hand towel, & one bath towel. The toilet sat super low to the floor like it was a toddler potty. The king bed had two pitiful pillows. There were no black out curtains or curtains period. The blinds were in bad condition. The hotel just felt like an old creepy mental institution. 0/10-DO NOT RECOMMEND

First thing it should not be listed as a hotel it’s a motel. Place is not what I’m used to, waiting in line you would think your in a quick cash. It’s dirty room has one light switch that all the lights comes on including the bathroom,Broken toilet seat. Checked in and hour later checked out

The air conditioner was broken, it blew air but was not cold. The first room I was given had a dirty bedspread with stain on the top and the room smelled of old food. Walking through the hallway, you could smell marijuana and other substances. The area itself did not feel safe and the parking lot had cars with people sleeping inside of them. I would not stay here again.

When I got my ticket to put in my car, I parked in the back and the back door was wide open and I did not need my key to get in. The back door should be closed at all times. As soon as I walked in my room, the floor was not clean. It felt sticky and I had to leave my shoes on and slept with my socks on. Only one towel in the room so I used it to dry my body then I use it for stepping out after showered. Went down stairs to get more towels and they only gave me one! To share is not to share!! This hotel should not be on this website. This is a live in stay, it’s very hood and not up to part. Horrible bathroom. You will need lots of Lysol if you plan to stay here.

You don’t go to this place for a good nights rest. I vacated my stay and found another place. People were hanging out in the parking lot, playing loud music. The rooms were filthy in very poor conditions. Lots of nefarious traffic around this place. They sell a variety condoms and diapers at the front counter as their main offering if this says anything.

It was decent, I had no issues with anything. Staff was nice , check in was quick and easy. My TV kept getting darker and darker then bright when it thought I was ready to see😭😭😭

To start off. I made the Hotel aware of my delayed arrival. Hotel charge even after being made aware of late arrival. When I arrived I had to leave 15 minutes after due to. Family emergency. The Hotel photos are. It what the property portrays. There were three cars with flat tires. Two cars with busted windows. An individual performing Mecanic work on there vehicle. The hotel its self had a very bad aroma. The beds are small and dirty. Trash under the fridge. Trash of beer cans out in the hallway. Very shady individual posted up at the door way to enter the outside access. Just over all bad experience. Needed to have a refund processed and could not get in contact with the property manager. Which by the way when I was checking in. Was speaking about us in his native language to the clerk. I had an issues with the different rates they charged me versus did not match Expedias advertised rates. Then the manager turns and advised that I not book with Expedia. Instead book directly with the hotel. Just over all horrible experience. Do not go here. There are closer hotels and much nicer vicinity than this one. Worst experience ever.

This was one of the most horrific places I’ve ever stay at. Dirt and grime is all I could see. From the hallway to the elevator to the room, untidiness. The bed was broken (I fell through and hurt my hip), there was a film of scum that covered the walls and floor, the furniture was worn and decrepit, and there was constant noise from many the many children that LIVED there. The hotel doubles as a sort of temporary shelter for people experiencing homelessness. I’m sorry about the housing crisis, but that should be mentioned in the booking details. People hung out in every corridor and children played in the hallways. To top the unpleasantries off, roaches were in the kitchenette and bathroom. In spite of the roach powder being laid all over the place, the place had roaches. Rats ran throughout the parking lot.

Policies not transparent, they write up whatever policies they like and dont share it with 3rd party sites. But we pay through third parties without knowing. They dont own the mistake they try to blame the customer and blame the third party for their communication gap. Further they dont want to take 8 busines days to refund the security payment they are stealing money because when you ask them what bank is taking them 8 business days they try to hide the bank

I wouldn’t recommend staying here especially with a child. As advertised smoking is strictly prohibited but the entire establishment smells like cigarettes and marijuana inside and out. We had cigarette ashes in our ac unit, our child feet were black 5 mins of being in the room, walls have food on them appliances have food on them as well! The fridge was clean and looked brand new so no complaints there, I did get bit by something while staying there and it’s caused my skin to peel and be raw. Creepy men will follow you around the property and knock on your door all hours of the night. The rooms get cleaned ONCE weekly 1st floor is monday 2nd is tuesday and 3rd is wednesday any other day you’re on your own, you are provided with one towel, one wash cloth, one roll of toilet paper, 3 shampoos, no conditioner (wasnt needed but what if it was) . Bed sheets and shower had prior guests hair, it’s not renovated it’s decorated meaning they don’t FIX they COVER. If you don’t mind creepy men following you and knocking on your door at 2am when you have a baby sleeping, drunk arguments, people throwing up 4 inches away from your car door or marinating in smoke aroma by all means spend $300 to stay here but if you care about yourself or your family you’re better off staying at the super 8 on equipment dr they’re cheaper, cleaner, quieter, nicer and I haven’t had any harassment…and they have breakfast included. Spend your money wisely!!

Bathroom light would only turn on once in a while not when you turned switch on. No hanging closet area. TV was on when I entered and was afraid someone was in room. Not a king room I booked and paid for. Was a queen

What I liked most was the cleanliness of the room and property. I felt comfortable and safe. The ladies at the front desk have been nice and friendly!

Price but I have to find another place fire alarm going off car's in the parking lot with there music loud room above me people running around all night I asked for 3rd floor

This property was filled with roaches. It was dirty. There were 3 rooms changed for me when I arrived due to problems. The floors were sticky and the mattress which I decided not to sleep on but just stay up all night working for the work project I had the next day which brought me to that town....the mattress smelled like stale urine. I want my money back.

This place is ghetto trash elevator door hardly opened at all all types of crazy people staying at the hotel front desk clown yelled at me to get out please do not stay here ever!!!

The room was dirty. There was trash under the bed. The previous guest left behind a sock, an earring, and a piece of candy by the A/C unit. The floor was dirty as I walked with light gray socks on and they were dark gray almost black when I was putting my shoes on to leave, I had to change them.

I booked this property for my employees but due to multiple homeless people around the property, broken glass in the room and just not clean, I cancelled the reservation. I have been refused a refund because they say my employees refused to pay the $50 deposit but when we tried giving them the card info over the phone, it was refused. I did not feel safe having our employees staying there, knowing they had tools with them and hoping nothing happened. Their phones were/are down, so I couldn’t even talk to them directly. We had to submit an email and pictures asking for the refund and it was still refused.

Tiny roaches everywhere, ended up sleeping in my car so I wouldnt get roches in my stuff. Loud music from the drug dealers car coming and going all night. Loud talking and laughter until 3am. Security just chilled and hung oit with the pot dealers. Beds are new though, For sure black mold in the entire hotel.

In the midst of a renovation, dust flying from lobby work being completed, elevator was down too.

Came three hours away to go to slamenough car show said I couldn’t stay because I wasn’t 21 left me sleeping in my dodge challenger in the middle of Charolette never had issues booking with any hotels but this one and they never refunded my money

The room smelled like mold and mildew, one light switched controlled every single light in the room (including the bathroom?), the remote control was broken, the wall had about 4 different paint swatches on it because the first three obviously didn’t match the original paint, no ice machine, vending machines were mainly empty, had several people outside just standing in front of the door, there was a $50 deposit for a room which is CRAZY (I still haven’t gotten that deposit back yet and that was 4 days ago), and the elevator was broken. I would only wish this on my worst enemy.

Stole my deposit. Charged an additional unexplained fee then tried to gas light me about it. Filthy rooms. Do not book. Sub par service.

It was dirty, people were partying outside, and arguing in the lobby. The a/c barely cooled the room, the tub was dirty (black footprints & a toothbrush). The receptionist lied and said there were no rooms left and would not me see before paying. I’ve stayed on budget motels before, but this was bad. Most of the people live there.

This place was very noisy and the police are always coming there because it’s unsafe. The room had a musty old smell to it, I tried to burn some candles to get the smell out but that didn’t work. The bathroom ceiling was caving in over the shower. Plus they haven’t given my my 50 dollar deposit back yet, front office was closed when I left 7am in the morning so I couldn’t check out, I put the key into a unlocked drop box. Which I couldn’t understand, anyone could have taken the keys and went back into the room. A lot of weird weed smoking people hang out, right outside of this hotel

Apart form the uncleanness, it needs repairs and the noise level and Marijuana smell was horrible. They had NO DRAPES!!!! First hotel i have ever seen with only blinds. This property should not be listed on Expedia. WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!
