Great stay. This makes it twice that stayed go 2 weeks at a time and will continue to come back

The manager purposely canceled my reservation. Once I arrived I had a difficult time getting my room 222 only for it to smell horrible, refrigerator leaking and bathroom light not working and needing to change rooms to 149 where the room door constantly sounds like someone is entering everytime some enters the hotel. SMH

The room is clean, staff is helpful. It's been great having the option for breakfast, plus a full size kitchen. It's been great!

The room was clean. But the ice maker on the refrigerator was broken. I turned it on and water pooled all over the kitchen floor. It was the weekend so no maintenance personnel's were there. They gave us a bunch of towels to clean up the mess. And housekeeping did not replenish our wash clothes and towels when they came in. My husband also said that the lobby bathroom smelled like urine. Things don't seem up to par. This experience was different from my previous stay.

I was surprised at how nice this was and the breakfast was great. I have stayed at the Springfield, Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Courtyard and Aloft and yes, this is not the Ritz, but I will stay here next week when I am back.

Room was very comfortable and beds were perfect. The shower curtain was so gross and smelled so badly that I took it down and left it in the hallway. The staff brought a new one right up. Very helpful staff. Natalie at the front desk was nice and Tonya was so helpful too! Thank you!

Very clean room with kitchen. The beds are comfortable. Great location near shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed sushi next door, and the breakfast and coffee at the hotel is great. We brought our dog and had lots of areas to walk her.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It was as the first time a very positive experience.

The rooms are great to include a stove, refrigerator, microwave. Breakfasts are amazing and free! There is an indoor pool. It is located in beautiful Ballantyne. Many places to eat, shop etc. Located close for us to visit our son. I am sure we will be there again.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The staff member was very nice, the check-in process was smooth and quick, the room was very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. The dining area was also very clean, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend it.

I love this property. It's very clean and is in a great location. The room exceeded my expectations. I had a studio room with a kitchen and it was very clean and efficient. The AC works well. I did not really have any interaction with the staff. Breakfast was ok, I wish they had more options. The only issue we encountered was that it was hard to find parking late at night. I had a great stay and would stay at this property again when visiting family in Charlotte.

I’d love to keep this a secret but they deserve the business. It’s one of the best family stays we’ve ever had. The location is amazing and now one of our favorite areas of Charlotte. The kitchen is very functional and the rooms are spacious and homey. The heated pool is well-maintained and the design is beautiful. The courtyard is picturesque and the gym is perfectly adequate. Everything and everywhere is clean.

The breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and remained stocked.

The staff were wonderful. The location was perfect for us. I love their Monday-Wednesday happy hour; it was delightful and unexpected. I struggled with the room itself. Overall it was perfectly fine. We didn’t have a working tv in the living area but for our family it wasn’t an issue because we used our laptop and the tv in the bedroom was working. We did have a really hard time with the fact the A/C did not work well in the bedroom. The bedroom would be very warm at night while the living room was freezing. I will absolutely take ownership of the fact that I never mentioned it to the staff. The couch bed is uncomfortable which is expected but the staff was wonderful in making sure we had as many blankets and pillows we needed to make it cozy.

For a mid range price, this was probably one of the nicer hotels I think I've ever stayed at. I love that the courtyard is blocked in by the hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast was again, probably one of the better ones I've had: seemed to have a revolving menu that was vegetarian friendly. My favorite thing, was checkout was at noon. This should be the gold standard for every hotel. I hate being rushed and this gave adequate time to get everything wrapped up and packed up for the haul home and still get some breakfast grub on the way out without having to meet an arduous timeline. Staff was crazy pleasant and courteous. I would definitely recommend this place and if we're ever in the area again and need a place to crash, this will be at the top of the list.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious with great options for everyone. The kids had an amazing time enjoying the pool and hot tub, they didn't want to leave! The staff was very attentive and addressed all of our concerns quickly and professionally, which made our stay even more comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling happy and well taken care of. We would definitely come back again!

The smell of the food that people cook in their rooms was horrible. Cleaning personnel did not do the thorough job, dud not make beds, did not clean the floor or leave fresh towels. And the breakfast was not good. I understand that it is complimentary, but I would rather pay a fee and get a good variety,

Only small thing that I was disappointed with is there was not much of a Restaurant within the hotel . Breakfast and happy hour were awesome though but short . Rooms are spacious and Staff is excellent. Highly recommend to stay here

Everything was wonderful with just one exception which would prevent me from staying here again and that is the fact that they have no housekeeping services on the weekends which is when we stayed here. I do not want to have to make my own bed while on vacation and unfortunately that was exactly what I had to do this weekend!

Hotel was okay. Not that great. We’ve stayed at cleaner, more comfortable and efficient Staybriges in the last. Unfortunately, this one didn’t make the cut for us. We had to report that there was feces in the hot tub. We were saddened to have to report this.

Stayed with a big group of family for a few days and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the breakfast and the fact that they switch it up each day a little is really nice. We grilled in the courtyard played some corn hole and really enjoyed the pool and spa. We will return! Kids had a blast!

Safe area and the 2 bedroom suite was HUGE!

Overall, the property was OK, but I think the property needs to be updated. Many of the hotels presentation is top tier in the area. The elevator needs to be cleaner and updated. The food and breakfast rates a 10. A howling dog kept me up all night and I had to be complimented a nights stay. In conclusion, I have stayed at this establishment the last 10 years, but I think in the future, I will be seeking my vacation with another hotel for my next vacation in the area.

The hotel was ok. There is only one very small elevator (enough room for the cart and one person) for the entire building. The parking is very limited. I took the kids to the pool twice and there were no towels both times. There was no bedding, blankets or pillows for the pull out sofa and when we asked for bedding were told that they could not bring it. No problem! I went to the desk to get it, but they were completely out of pillows, so my kids slept with nothing. Not sure that I would stay again.

Our one night stay at Statebridge Suites was perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was huge and spotless, breakfast was excellent, and the pool and hot tub were a welcome amenity. Highly recommended!

Was staying here for a sport event (but far away from the event to enjoy my time). Kitchen was great. Laundry is complimentary which was wonderful. Bathroom sink and bathroom were the issues; but I was moved to a new room. Blackout curtain in living room was missing. The staff was wonderful in spite of small annoyances and accommodating.

I loved our stay at the hotel. We chose the two bedroom suite and it was more than enough space for my family of 5. The kitchen was perfect size with two stove eyes to cook on and all the essential pans needed to cook with. The free continental breakfast had a great variety of foods and juices each morning. I also loved that they offer a social happy hour on Monday's-Wednesday’s with compliments beverages and finger foods. The staff was amazing my whole stay anytime we passed by them anywhere in the building they made sure to speak. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we visit Charlotte.

The only downside to this stay was the noise. Between housekeeping and the dogs barking and some inconsiderately loud guests rhe noise was most of the day and into the late hours and beginning again early. In my honest opinion there is nothing that the hotel can do about this and I found it easy to just overlook look the noise issues and be happy with a short stay. I found this property to be very reasonably priced and i was impressed with the cleanliness of the property. Thank you!

My Wife and I was deeply disturbed, frightened and intimidated by some putting what we considered threatening pictures of John Epstein a known Sex Trafficker under our door. We felt targeted

Hall walls are thin though. Staff recommended calling front desk if people are too loud in the hallways and nearby rooms.

We went to go swimming at 4 and they said it was closed and to come back at 6. So we went to get supper and came back and took our boys swimming. We swim for about an hour and got out. We all notice our nose and eyes burning. We all got a shower but my youngest face is burned bad and he’s in pain. Putting lotion on him but I feel like the chemicals should’ve been tested again. We are all suffering now with chemical burns from it. Other than that the stay was great. Sad that that happened

Staff was super friendly, breakfast buffet was well above your average hotel breakfast. Most of all - THE most amazing room (OK, it was a 2 bedroom suite). We were there during an unusually cold snap and our rooms varied in temp. Just one thermostat and while the LR was perfect one bedroom was a bit too warm and the other a bit cool. But I imagine that was not necessarily the norm. Would absolutely stay again!!

The room was clean only issue was the shower had some mold in the corners that need to be removed. Other than that my stay was awesome. Breakfast was a very welcoming amenity.

During the time I was there, it was extremely loud as I was passing rooms to reach my room. This was probably out of the hotel’s control, however, I experienced it.

The room was surprisingly larger and completely stocked with great quality amenities.

My new getaway place in Charlotte, breakfast was great, clean room, staff was awesome will come back again.

The room was very clean. The breakfast vas very good. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pool was great, though a little cold. I was disappointed that the hot tub was not operational. But, overall, the hotel was a very warm and welcoming place. I loved the courtyard, and the decor for Christmas was tastefully done and beautiful. We were there to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and it was a perfect setting for our celebration.

This was my 3rd stay. Aug, Oct and now Dec. I was disappointed. When I got there at around 2:30 no room was ready and I could not get an eta on when one would be ready. After. Driving over 4 hrs, I had to go to a mall and around 4:30 I made a call to make sure my roo. Was ready to check. While walking down the hall to my room there was garbage and dirty linen by almost every other romm. I think I’ll try a different hotel next time we go. Not a good look for seniors 67and 78 yrs old. I will no longer recommend the hotel. Friday breakfast was cold. I saw changes from Oct to Dec.

My room was clean upon arrival/check-in. Staff was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. The breakfast was excellent also. However, I still have not received the $150.00 deposit back. This was requested @ check-in November 25,2025. I was told it would be refunded after bout ten days after check-in.

Concierge was welcoming and helpful, room was comfy and nice. The kitchenette was a huge plus and the room smelled amazing.

The furniture in the rooms was outdated, their was a hole in wall near the shower, and pool ladder popped out when touched.

Negative: No ID check on checkin. Torn curtains & vinyl furniture. Furniture & room smelled like a dog kennel when heater on. Heater vents filthy. Pillows were flat & smelled musty. Breakfast starts at 730 and not 6am?? Like what?! A bummer for early travelers. Definately not worth $160/night. Disappointing for Ballantyne area. Wont stay again at this Staybridge location, wouldnt recommend.

Honestly, everything was good from check in through check out. When i arrived the young lady whom checked us in was really nice & sweet. She made me feel really relaxed & valued on my first stay. Breakfast was really good, customer service was outstanding! Everything worked!! We will definitely return . I also got to meet Tonya! I read a lot about Her in the reviews & every one was right she was amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very clean and quiet. We were greeted with a hotel social hour featuring complimentary beer and wine, as well as a Mac & Cheese bar (a very nice touch). Apparently, they host this event on Monday evenings. The lobby was warm, cozy, and decorated for fall. The room was spacious and clean, and had everything we needed. The courtyard is lovely, and the pool looked clean (although we unfortunately didn't get a chance to enjoy it). It is right next to a cute sushi restaurant, and we enjoyed our breakfast - definitely above average for a hotel breakfast. I appreciate the efforts they made to go above and beyond.

Our well-appointed one-bedroom suite was perfect for our needs. The cold citrus water at the entrance and complementary cookie was welcome after the long drive. The bed was comfortable, the suite was spacious, and kitchen had all that we needed. The pet-friendly room is a plus. We will stay again when we are in the area.

The stay was good overall, however, the jacuzzi didn't work, and their were adjoining rooms and we could hear the guests next door, but it was not too bad.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The hotel is conveniently located with local shops nearby, and it’s not too far from the airport or other parts of town. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay that met our expectations.

Staff was very nice. Rooms were very clean. Hotel is outdated. Very, very noisy hallways. Not the hotel's fault, but inconsiderate guests. Slamming of doors all day long. Inconsiderate parents letting their kids roam free in the courtyard, kicking footballs over our heads, screaming, again...not the hotels fault. I also did not like that after breakfast the area was kept very dark, seemingly to discourage guests from sitting there. I could hardly see the coffee station and had to ask to have some light turned on. Very uninviting. Leave those curtains open to let in some sunshine from the beautiful courtyard.

We had to come to NC for a family emergency. Everyone on staff has made this trip so much easier! The rooms and facility are super clean!

The added perk of a complete breakfast (with fruit!) and three evening meals was really appreciated. This location was well maintained, room was clean and well-serviced. Highly recommended.

Traveling solo with 2 kids under 2 years old and needed to check in early. Ms. CJ and staff made the process so easy! From providing an accessible room on the 1st floor to adding 2 cribs and even offering to assist getting our things into the room. This really made the stay, but I cannot leave out the fact that the place was clean and well kept, the included breakfast was great and had lots of selections and I slept like a baby once my babies were asleep!!!

One of the better hotels we’ve stayed in. Staff here is exceptional. First hotel this year where EVERYTHING works. SAFE, local police patrol heavily at night. Quiet and comfortable. Nothing to complain about, highly recommend

The rooms were very spacious for our big family. All rooms comes with a sofa bed and kitchen. The kitchen had all appliances and utensils needed. We enjoyed the pool even though it was cold and the hot tub was perfect temp. The work out room had everything you need for a good experience. At night you could sit in the court yard and grill, play bean bag toss or simply enjoy the waterfall. Safe was very professional and friendly. The breakfast every morning was amazing due to it being buffet style. Great hotel and will definitely stay again.

They came to clean our room but only made one bed, left dirty, used towels in the bathroom and did not remove dirty dishes. There was a bench outside our window and was awakened by a lady playing very loud music at 8 in the morning, followed by a man having a very loud conversation on his phone, followed by the lady with the very loud music returning. I had to call the front desk twice and text them once about the disturbances. Not sure why housekeeping came by the morning of checkout. They should have a list of who is checking out and when as not to disturb them. This Hotel has great potential, but needs more training of staff and probably need to remove the benches as I suggested to front

The pool and hot tub was a definite perk but the hand rails were broken and was not safe for those using it. The rooms were roomy and the front desk agents were fabulous.

This is not for the staff at all. I was greeted with a smile and kindness at the front desk so the staff was great! Check in process was easy and fairly straightforward with no issues. When I got to my room the smell instantly hits you in the face and it smelled horrible. The carpet was extremely dirty and smelled of disgust. It was so dirty so disgusting my kids didn’t want to go to sleep in the bed but when they did they just played their clothes down and slept on top of that and we checked out first thing in the morning. We didn’t want to wait for the late checkout we left at 5am instead. Again this isn’t a negative review on the staff because they were amazing but if I could make a suggestion it would definitely help to make sure that rooms could use a deep cleaning and touch up the rooms better.

The suites are nice! The establishment overall was nice, down to the staff at check in/check out. I recommend staying here if you are looking for a home away from home :)

The staff was very helpful and very pleasant. AC went out the first night, the fixed it very promptly. I was supposed to be compensated for the inconvenience however I still haven’t seen the refund.

Room was spacious and overall clean. One issue but they seem to intend to resolve and gave me a credit for it. Unfortunately the hot tub was down which was the reason I chose to stay but still enjoyed the stay. Staff was kind and breakfast was okay. Enjoyed Saturday breakfast more than Friday. I would stay again.

If your traveling with your family thus is the perfect hotel for you. They offer rooms with full kitchen with dishwasher, glass top stove refrigerator, granite table countertops for your children to enjoy a nice meal. The beds are spacious soft and clean. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean with Dove products which were a plesant suprise. This hotel offers FREE LAUNDRY SERVICE. I'm boy mom so it came in handy. I was suprised to know they also had HAPPY HOUR. If your on a buget which in this economy most of us are. Happy Hour is where you wanna be. The ensemble of crispy chicken wings, french fries with nacho cheese sauce various dipps for your wings, fountain drinks, juice all in an area suited for comfort and relaxation. The dining room leads out to a courtyard your whole family can enjoy Staybridge Ballantyne locatiin has an indoor pool, we havent been able to enjoy yet but I'll keep you posted with an update on our experience. Ive added photos, unfortunately i wasnt able to get Happy Hour. I was too busy eating.

The property needs to be to upgraded. The furniture was dirty. When I went to flip the cushion the other side was worse. There were brown spots on the walls.

Everyone at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Everybody was friendly nice from the front desk to the workers. The maintenance housekeeping I will definitely go again and Brittany was a sweetheart at the social.

This was not listed when making my reservation The hallways were being painted not mentioned it the listing.

The surfaces in my room were sticky- not cleaned. The pool was too hot and hot tub too cool. There was a sexual offender that entered the hotel as I was coming in at 9:00pm. Security had to chase him. There was no syrup at breakfast an hour before the breakfast hour ended. I was overall disappointed

I was a nice place with all the amenities that I needed for my trip

They purged my pay at the property reservation done through Expedia when I got to the hotel, then told me to rebook a new reservation, which I payed. After a dispute they refunded the one payment from the rebookingb and charged my credit card without my permission for the higher amount that was booked to pay at the property that they purged.

Nice-sized suites. We appreciated having a separate kitchen/living area and the bedroom/bathroom in an adjoining room—felt more like an apartment. Full fridge, cooktop, microwave & sink—would be great for someone doing an extended stay. We enjoyed using the indoor pool, though the hot tub was more like a lukewarm tub. Someone else using the spa noted that there was cold water coming out of 2 of the jets, so I think it needed some repair. Otherwise, the sink drain in our bathroom was clogged and backed up for our whole stay, which wasn’t ideal. There was also a corner of the bedroom where the carpet was pulling up and looking kinda junky. In general, I would say the hotel needs some maintenance, but it was a pretty comfortable stay with plenty of space for 2 people or a small family. Free breakfast had decent options & good coffee. We would stay again, but I would request a different room.

Basic kitchen tools were provided. Hot tub and pool could use some attention. Courtyard and breakfast was real nice. Coffee was fair to the taste. Staff was nice. Liked having our dogs along. We would stay here again.

I've stayed here many times over the past 7 years and I can see the hotel has gone downhill regarding the staff friendliness and the breakfast. The selections are few compared to before and the breakfast staff is not as attentive to refilling items as before. There is now a huge charge for cleaning the room if earlier than 8 days stay and we had to call numerous times for towels and toilet paper. We were a bit disappointed.

Rooms were not clean. I changed rooms 3 times and all rooms were bad, curtains coming down, wall switches dirty, spots on floors and furniture, heating was not working (my room temp was 57 degrees all night on first night until maintenance came the next day around noon). No refund.

I stayed at this property from Wednesday 12/28-12/22/24. I arrived early expecting to eait until 3pm to check in but the lovey lady at the front desk checked in on right away. She was professional and friendly. She recommended some local events closeby. The pool was in good condition and the hot tub was amazinb The grounds was beautiful. The room was updated, clean and equip with everything we would need for our 4 day stay. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We will be making this out christmas tradition.

I like the convenience of a breakfast in the morning and convenient to have so many restaurants around the hotel. Very disappointed because I booked that hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool but the indoor pool was freezing, so that was very disappointing.

I found a cockroach in the kitchen, which was not amusing. Only one of the burners on the stove worked - the small one. I stayed for 3 days, and nobody cleaned my room or took out the trash. Which I guess, if you think about it, explains the cockroaches. It is a beautiful property, but I think the maintenance has slipped.
