The hotel is praised for its cleanliness and convenient location, particularly for events at the Spectrum Center. However, there are consistent complaints about the valet service and parking fees. Some guests also mention issues with room cleanliness and noise.

Great location, very clean and a banger of a breakfast
- 4/5
Clean, great location. Breakfast was a little meh.
- 4/5
Nice room. Ice maker on my floor didn’t work. Train noise slightly bothersome but manageable.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean (lobby, walkways, elevator). Staff was very friendly
- 3/5
Room had a trash bag taped over the smoke alarm detector, blinds had stains, there were stained towels folded in the bathroom for us to use, only one bed light worked. The best thing honestly is the location of this hotel and the staff were REALLY nice
- 5/5
Love the hotel my room was very clean. I had a great view of the city, the location is perfect. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely book and stay here again!
- 5/5
Great location and nice clean rooms
- 4/5
There was no water in the room to drink. It was have made my visit great.
- 5/5
Property was very nice
- 5/5
Excellent location! Right across from Spectrum Center and within walking distance of many restaurants. Beautiful building, well kept, nice clean rooms, comfy beds and linens. Breakfast room on 2nd floor.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. Breakfast was convenient and had enough options to get the day started. The bar area was nice as well. Overall, it was a good stay and I would recommend it to other travelers.
- 5/5
Location was great and price was great!
- 4/5
Basic nice hotel downtown. For price expected more then Best Western breakfast and room attire. And who decided sofas and sofa seats was suitable dining area seating? Seriously? Come on. You can do better. Whole families standing and eating. Not a good look.
- 4/5
Loved the room and breakfast.
- 5/5
Great room with Spectrum center literally within footsteps of property!
- 5/5
Front desk was amazing, good breakfast and close everywhere
- 5/5
One thing I really appreciated was how quiet the hotel was. Since it's not located directly in the middle of the city, it offered a much more peaceful atmosphere while still being conveniently located. The bed was also very comfortable and made it easy to get a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good and had a decent variety, although I would have liked to see a few more vegetarian options available. The check out process was quick and hassle free, which made leaving for the airport very easy. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again when visiting Charlotte.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
I especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and how easy it was to get around the city from this location. The breakfast options were also a nice bonus in the mornings. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Charlotte.
- 2/5
Nice hotel but noisy. Unfortunately, the nearby train cannot be missed.
- 5/5
The staff was super kind and helpful and the room was great!
- 5/5
The staff was very pleasant, engaging, and helpful. Each time we encountered a member of staff, the interaction was positive. I highly recommend the SpringHill Suites for anyone visiting the area.
- 5/5
Great stay and location! Our room was perfect for my husband and I
- 5/5
A decent selection for Breakfast & free water in Lobby. Receive free bottle water if you’re a Reward Member. Will stay again. Ramona D.
- 5/5
To walk to various restaurants and events.
- 5/5
That we couldn't stay longer
- 4.5/5
Close to City Water in shower was scorching hot
- 3/5
Requested fresh towels and I’m leaving now but still waiting for those towels
- 5/5
Great location for attending a concert at Spectrum Center. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance.
- 2/5
The location, staff, amenities, and cleanliness were great. The downfall of the hotel is the exterior, and interior walls a paper thin. I could hear everything that was going on inside and outside of the hotel. Hard to get any sleep.
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Check in was very easy. The room was spacious and clean.
- 2/5
Couldn’t find my booking. Booked and paid for a high floor king bed. Only had lower2 doubles room..
- 2.5/5
For the price it was fine. Wish we would have known there were residential floors. Elevators smelled like cigarettes For the price it was fine. Wish we would have known there were residential floors. Elevators smelled like cigarettes. Gustavo up front was less than friendly. You could tell he was just there for a paycheck
- 5/5
Nothing
- 1/5
I went over there and told me my reservation was cancelled when I never cancelled , I had to drive back 3 hours and they did not even try to fix the problem or call a manager to solve it they got my money and I did not get a room
- 0.5/5
Hotel was overbooked and had no room available. Never had that happen. They blamed it on their “systems.”
- 4.5/5
Great option when travelling w the family. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast Parking rates & options. Staff friendliness and how busy it was in lobby etc around the game.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and quiet, front desk very good quick check in and out, breakfast was fresh and hot, many varieties to meals, the only thing is coffee refills were very slow. Otherwise, the entire stay was excellent
- 4/5
The hotel staff was very helpful in allowing me to check in early due to my flight landing earlier than expected which was greatly appreciated. The other reviews speaking about the train being loud, i truly didn’t experience this. However, my room was on a higher floor so I heard the train go by but it wasn’t loud and definitely didn’t wake me up out of my sleep. Something I wish I would’ve known before hand was that this hotel doesn’t have a pool. My hotel room was clean however the shower in the bathroom was not. Also, around 8am I needed more towels I was told by the front desk that the cleaning staff wasn’t there yet and that I could come down to the front desk to grab them unless I wanted to wait for them to arrive. These are all just things to make mental note of when booking here. Overall, friendly staff and great views of the city from my hotel room.
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 3/5
All okay. If you're seeing a shoe at Spectrum Center go for it, but there are far better hotels Uptown at this price.
- 5/5
Everything
- 2/5
The staff were very rude
- 1/5
Denied providing me water bottles- although clearly they were giving out to other guests. Denied changing my room as one of the electronic curtains were malfunctioning. Did not fix the curtain as well. Not staying there ever again.
- 5/5
Parking! Shouldn’t have to pay for parking or at least include in the stay.
- 5/5
friendly staff and clean room
- 5/5
The staff members we came in contact with were friendly. Check in was fast and smooth. The room was clean. Only issue is parking. Parking is listed at 55 a night for valet parking. But they do not have there own parking garage. So you must pay for parking either way.. I ended up paying nearly 100 dollars for 1 night of parking but thats on me for not utilizing the Hotel valet parking.
- 5/5
Perfect location great hotel
- 5/5
Could not believe how great the place was for the price. Had four teenagers along with me and they loved it. Will absolutely be back. Staff was awesome. Valet kids were great.
- 4/5
Everything was great but the parking I too expensive
- 1/5
No help at all wish I would’ve went to a different app to order my hotel
- 5/5
Great breakfast! Clean room and amenities!!
- 5/5
Loved it!!!!!!!!
- 2.5/5
The location The Prices for Everything. And Things that didn't Work in the Room. Pillows to Small and Soft. No Sink Stopper, Bathroom Door, the TV Remote. Window Shade Broken wouldn't come down. Do your Rooms that have any Bath Tubs.
- 4.5/5
The room was HUGE The only bad comment I would say is the hotel cleaners came in at 9:30 to try to clean out our room when check out wasn’t until 11. But it wasn’t that big of a deal.
- 4.5/5
The breakfast was amazing! They had a great variety. We were there to attend a concert. The staff was amazing that we interacted with. They are on the main strip, so you did have road noise, but they leave ear plugs on the table incase you need them. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at!!!
- 3/5
The room was dusty
- 5/5
Only thing we didn’t like was the eggs at breakfast everything else was perfect
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious for 5 guests
- 4/5
The bar was neat and drinks weren’t too expensive. The roof was off limits which was the whole reason I booked at the Marriott so I could get a good view and couple of pictures to show the family. I could only take pictures from my room window which only showed the side of the trust bank.
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Breakfast was great!!!
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean
- 1/5
For starters you’re right next to a train station so the rooms are loud. Also know that this hotel does not have free parking, you park in a public parking and it’s not cheap. You can valet but the price will fluctuate if there’s an event going on. There’s a bar inside the hotel with basically nothing good to eat. They were serving chips and salsa and hummus. That’s it. The bathroom door had a frosted glass so if you turn on the light to use the bathroom or shower and someone else is in the other room, the light from the bathroom will light up the bedroom. The layout is also weird. Very little lights inside the room. The only good thing about this hotel is the convenience of being close to restaurants and venues because you’re right across the street from the Spectrum center and about 15 minute walk from B of A Stadium.
- 5/5
Rooms were nice, convenient location and staff was helpful
- 5/5
Only stayed for one night but was very impressed with the friendly staff, efficient check-in and out process and the room was great.
- 3.5/5
Location downtown was great and close to a lot. The parking deck/valet situation will keep me from staying there again. Whether you went with the parking deck or the valet, you were spending $60 a day to park! That’s absolutely ridiculous. The parking for 2 days costs the same as the hotel for a one day stay.
- 5/5
Great location. Nice property.
- 5/5
I appreciate the noise machine for city noises
- 3/5
Breakfast needs work. Offering more in the selection of the food. Hotel only offered turkey and veggie sausage.
- 3.5/5
Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Entering the valet was also not easy.
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
The room and the view was terrific. The bed was somewhat comfortable. Charging $45 for overnight parking is pretty outrageous. Fees like that should be made clear before booking, not sprung on guests later. It comes across as shady. Also, I had nothing but problems trying to get into my room multiple times. The magnetic card key wasn't taking the card key to open my hotel room. The breakfast was very bland. Nothing exciting.
- 4/5
The configuration of the shower was smart - you'll see when you get there. But the glass door to the bathroom was dirty, lots of toothpaste and other things on it. Also, my feet got dirty walking barefoot on the carpret.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 3/5
We booked this hotel for a week for a business trip in the Charlotte area. When making reservations I wanted to make sure we would be able to park our 26ft box truck. The rep put me on hold to make sure we would be good on parking. I was told we could park the truck at the Hilton because they had regular parking. And these were sister companies. When we get there we found out we had to pay $50 a day for parking. I guess that part was left out. The bedding wasn’t clean on both beds. The comforter thing on both beds looked like it hadn’t been changed a few times. I had to change the trash myself when house keeping came beds wasn’t refreshed I changed trash they gave me bags. A couple of the guys who did the valet parking was nice and friendly. They didn’t have a pool I don’t know how I missed that. Location was great right by spectrum center. As much as you pay for these you you’d expect clean linen on the beds. I don’t know I guess that maybe too much to ask I guess. Other than parking issues and dirty bed linen everything else was ok.
- 1/5
Difficult and overpriced valet parking, train noise,
- 5/5
Everything was spectacular
- 5/5
It was a great stay. Beautiful Hotel, the only thing I will say is the parking is pretty expensive. I understand that we are in the heart of downtown, but the parking prices could be lower.
- 4/5
Very nice breakfast bar. I also truly enjoyed the fitness center. Can't really think of anything I did not like. I have stayed there before and it is was just a good as before.
- 5/5
Room was very nice and clean, bed was comfortable, staff was awesome had a great stay will be back again
- 5/5
Love to stay here when I’m attending a show at the Spectrum, very convenient.
- 5/5
Overall this hotel was great. Clean, secure, fair priced and in a perfect location! Will definitely come back here next time I come to Charlotte
- 4/5
Breakfast was great
- 5/5
Breakfast was just ok.
- 5/5
This place is clean, it smells AMAZING, and all the staff are so kind!
- 5/5
Very convenient complementary breakfast in the hotel that offers pancakes, hot cereals, yogurt, coffee, etc. Rooms are clean. The hotel is located right at the front of the Spectrum Center, and is closed to the Blue train line.
- 5/5
Yes …everything went well
- 5/5
Room was very clean and well equipped
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. Had a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Great location for the Hornets game!
- 4/5
The hotel was great. My only complaint is the train that runs right outside my window that kept me from sleeping.
- 5/5
Clean room, wonderful staff!
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and seemed fresh.
- 5/5
Property was clean, location across street from Spectrum center and lots of restaurants within easy walking distance, but best part of the stay was the staff. Everyone from the bellman, front desk and breakfast bar staff were very helpful and friendly.
- 4/5
Property location to Spectrum center was great. Room was ok but bathroom needed to be clean better. We had to wait for more clean towels. Food selection for breakfast was ok but the food was cold. Charged $55 for parking but Expedia stated $40
- 5/5
Best breakfast, clean, easy location, good valet right in hotel.
- 5/5
Loved it here! valet wasn’t a whole lot and they were super nice as well as the rest of the staff. rooms were great and having a bar there before going out was also really nice.
- 5/5
Couldn't be happier with our stay! Literally steps away from the Spectrum Center, where we watched the Charlotte Hornets play. We took advantage of valet parking and will definitely use the service every time we visit in the future!
- 5/5
Clean room, absolute perfect location. Plus staff is very welcoming and helpful.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great, bed was comfortable. It’s downtown so it’s a little noisy.
- 5/5
No parking on site
- 5/5
Great clean hotel with free breakfast
- 5/5
Excellent location - right across from the Spectrum Center and close to many restaurants and bars. Great customer setvice and buffet breakfast. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Great place to stay within walking distance to spectrum center
- 5/5
Great location for going to Hornets game
- 5/5
Breakfast could have been better more variety would be nice. Overall still 10/10
- 1/5
My stay was nice, very close to the Hornets game. However, after my stay 2 days later I was charged a $500 charge on my credit card. I was never sent an email or called about what the charge was for. I called the hotel and they said housekeeping charged my card. I disputed it with American Express and received a refund from the hotel. With no explanation or contact from the hotel. The front desk staff were great and valet, but if housekeeping charged my card, then I’m giving a bad rating for staff.
- 3/5
Asking for directions to parking was confusing The outside staff were very helpful
- 5/5
The only negative thing was the noise which is out of the hotel's control. They did provide ear plugs to offset the noise which I thought was extremely considerate.
- 5/5
Didnt have breakfast coffee was good
- 5/5
Great location for central city
- 4/5
We were put in a room that was listed as out of order (the bathroom had a leak). So we immediately had to go back downstairs to get a new room. When we get into the new room, I immediately started changing. We heard a knock on the door and then within a few seconds the door started to open. The maintenance guy had come to check on the leak, which was the other room. Luckily my wife was near the door to immediately stop him from opening it all the way. Needless to say, we expect more out of Marriott.
- 5/5
Good location , clean room
- 5/5
Nice clean spacious room, and right next to Coliseum
- 5/5
Center and the Transit system. Nice size room. Decent free breakfast. The lobby smells amazing…… just wish they served dinner/roomservice.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, amazing staff, and an amazing location!!
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Amenities
- 5/5
This hotel is beautiful and so centrally located to sporting venues. Rooms are huge and so nice!
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean
- 5/5
I was so tired I just wanted to rest. I would have appreciated it if they had asked me if the noise bothered me or not! A train was passing by constantly; it was as if the blessed train was inside the room. I asked them to park my car, but they wouldn't accept my credit card. They made me scan a system that didn't work day or night! Now I'm having nightmares about that train. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, not in this life, not in the next.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
No comment at this time
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay if you are going to an event at the spectrum center.
- 4/5
Clean Room Good Breakfast Buffet
- 5/5
Spotless, spacious room with location you can’t beat for a show at Spectrum Center
- 4/5
Rooms clean
- 5/5
The room was very clean and accommodating to our overnight stay. Our room had a very clear view of the city. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely book this hotel for your next stay.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great amenities and the staff was very helpful!!! Location is absolutely perfect!! Will definitely be back
- 5/5
Very clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely felt the souther hospitality vibes.
- 5/5
Clean and large room
- 5/5
Valet service was polite and timely.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was pleasant, and the overall experience was great. I have no complaints at all.
- 5/5
Courteous staff. Clean room. Great breakfast.
- 2/5
Hair was left in shower. Online site stated valet parking 40$ and it was actually 55$. Online stated breakfast 0630-0930 but it was actually 7-10.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly, restaurants on site were concierge, breakfast included was nice and had good variety, close proximity to everything, parking was easy
- 5/5
Everything was awesome
- 5/5
Right across from the spectrum center. Valet parking was very expensive but convenient. Rooms were okay. We needed additional sheets and pillows and they didn’t have any. Still had a good time and everything was clean
- 1/5
I attempted to cancel the reservation via the Expedia app, but the system would not allow a cancellation so close to the scheduled stay. I also made several attempts to cancel by phone. When I finally reached a representative, I was provided with an alternative phone number; however, each time I called that number, the line disconnected after ringing. As I purchased a stay protection plan for this booking, I would like to initiate the process for a refund or credit. Please let me know what steps are required to resolve this matter given the circumstances and the technical difficulties I experienced with the cancellation attemps
- 5/5
The room was clean and roomy. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The breakfast area tended to get busy and it was sometimes hard to access food easily.
- 5/5
Nice room, front desk staff outstanding.
- 5/5
Staff was nice & the rooms were great.
- 3/5
The train is loud. All night.
- 4/5
The room was clean but the body wash and shampoo were empty.
- 5/5
Clean and very spacious room. Pleasant staff. Great complimentary breakfast. Perfectly situated right across the street from the Spectrum Center.
- 5/5
Valet service was great. I didn't have to find a spot in garage and carry luggage to hotel lobby. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
The room was spotless. The staff was very friendly and it was right across the street from the entrance of the spectrum center. 30.00 parking fee, and the bed was hard as a rock. The free breakfast was great.
- 4/5
Everything was great about the stay minus the valet. Having to wait 25 minutes when I was first in lane only to find out they weren’t even there yet was really agitating.
- 3/5
El tren que pasa por el lado del hotel también es bien molesto para dejarte dormir El personal de vale parking demora en recoger y mover los carros y los Uber driver no pueden llegar al hotel a recogerte o dejarte porque siempre hay autos que bloquean el camino
- 3/5
Staff
- 5/5
The front desk staff was courteous! The room was nice, fresh water and late night bar was fantastic!
- 5/5
Yes perfect
- 5/5
Very clean room and establishment. The staff were very friendly
- 4/5
Amenities
- 5/5
The room was very clean. Everyone was super nice. The only downfall was having to go down 2 floors or up 2 floors for ice because the one outside of our door was broken
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
Staff was nice, you can tell they’re busy often, nothing seemed to bother anyone. Great location as well. We parked the truck and walked everywhere we wanted to go.
- 3/5
Room was okay. The noise level from outside prevented me from sleeping; really bad.
- 5/5
Clean room..within walking distance to everything
- 5/5
Breakfast was subpar. Not reel foods outside of the breads.
- 5/5
The room was clean and it’s close the Spectrum Center.
- 5/5
The staff was courteous and the room was really clean!
- 3/5
Room service comes every other day so you have to get your own fresh towels. Perfect location if you’re attending an event at the Spectrum center. Downside is you will need to wear the ear plugs they provide if you want to sleep through the night and early morning over the train that runs right outside the hotel. Staff have different information on valet and parking garage prices so we ended up paying more than was necessary.
- 5/5
Staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms were clean.
- 5/5
Staff was great, super location, nice rooms
- 3/5
The room was okay, a few things that needed to be fixed. And my card was deactivated twice as my stay was for 2 days. I checked in so I wouldn't be amongst the crowd and I still had to end up in the long line to have it reactivated. Some staff were noce, some not so nice. were very
- 5/5
We arrived early, but I was able to check-in and get into my room early without a hassle. All staff have been very nice!
- 3/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Great room
- 3/5
Room was nice and breakfast ok. The issue was no one ever cleaned our room. We made sire we cleaned up left nothing in the way and they never came we had to.ask for tussue towels and the tv was messed up. We ended up fixing it ourselves after they sent somone.we took out our own trash and cleaned ourselves. Parking is ridiculously priced on top of our stay. Definitely wouldn't stau here again!
- 2/5
First. Since there was an event going on across the street, they were charging $55 for valet parking. Second. I did not pay for valet parking but had to pay $25 to park in their garage. There's no insurance from their garage into the hotel so you have to go down and around. Essentially an alley to walk up to the front of the hotel carrying your bags. Third. Stopped into the bar for a drink and some food but the restaurant closes at 8:30. They were a total of nine people in the bar and none of them are the type that are listening to ghetto music, but these bartenders were horrible at reading the room. I listened to utter profane music for as long as I could before getting up and taking my drink somewhere else. 4th. $33 for two drinks and the bartender actually looked at me like I owed her a tip when I gave her $40 in cash. Fifth. Rooms have ear plugs for a reason because the hotel is right on the train line. The only about this place is the price and the fact you can walk just about anywhere from it
- 5/5
Great location - just walk across the street to Spectrum Center and so close to several awesome restaurants. Also, a great bar inside the hotel. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
clean room and very helpful staff and good location for food and the sporting events
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great property if you’re going to a game
- 5/5
We loved our stay and it was so convenient to the spectrum stadium. The staff was super friendly and inviting. The hotel room was super clean and the breakfast they offered had lots of variety.
- 5/5
The room looked out on a hockey arena. It was a game night and as a consequence it was very noisy.
- 3/5
Noise level and pillows were uncomfortable but nice place to stay
- 5/5
Great area. Close to everything.
- 4/5
The SpringHill Suites is located directly across from the Spectrum Center. Athletic events, concerts, etc... this is where to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is very good.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and room. Super convenient for events at the Spectrum Center. Breakfast buffet was just okay.
- 4/5
Hotel staff maintained cleanliness.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and beautiful view of the city. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Valet staff were all friendly.
- 5/5
My only con is if I pay over two hundred dollars for a room.I don't feel like I should have to pay for parking. That's just my opinion. Also I didn't like the lighting in the room. There was only one light on the far end of the room, and that was it, which sucked better lighting.
- 5/5
Everything was great about the room and staff. One staff member even helped me to find a nearby restaurant that i was looking for. This is where i will be staying anytime i go to an event in Charlotte NC
- 5/5
Amenities, closeness to the venue.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
10/10 would recommend!!!
- 3/5
When I checked in, the room had an empty box where the kleenex tissues should have been and approximately one third of a roll of toilet paper, and no spare roll. Needless to say, we ran out of toilet paper.
- 5/5
Everything was on point 👌
- 2/5
Parking options were horrible. We had to pay $25 parking every time we left the parking deck. They were trying to force us to pay for valet parking. Also we called guest service for towels and rags and never received them!!!
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel! Very clean, great views and location.
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet, friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean room, great location. Came into town for the night with my 18 year old son and his friend for a concert at spectrum. I felt so safe being close by them but allowing them to be independent.
- 5/5
LOVED OUR STAY HERE, STAFF WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING. ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, WE WERE UP HIGH ENOUGH TO BE FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM THE TRAIN SO WE SLEPT JUST FINE, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STAY!
- 5/5
Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Great location to everything downtown Charlotte. Staff was great.
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay! Friendly staff, clean hotel, decent breakfast!
- 5/5
Great place with a convenient location.
- 4/5
Everything was great except the parking
- 5/5
Super good
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
not bad but the parking cost almost as much as the room. there was a train that ran under our window and car alarms going off in the parking deck right across from our room. do yourself a favor and don't believe the front desk when they say that parking yourself costs more than valet. over $150 for just a few hours is highway robbery. the room was clean and modern. bring water, you won't find any there unless you want it out of the tap or want to pay out the nose for it downstairs.
- 4/5
The hotel itself was overall stunning. The room was quite agreeable; however, the beds were quite uncomfortable. I had two queen sized beds, both were very firm. An upgrade to more comfortable bedding would elevate the establishment to a five-star rating. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The hotel's location was highly convenient, situated directly across from the venue we intended to visit.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean. It’s really convenient to Spectrum Stadium right across the street! The hotel is nice and well kept.

Love this hotel, stayed there before will stay there again. HOWEVER, do NOT use their valet. Absolutely horrible. Yes, we were there on a busy day but took NEARLY and hour to get our car. Each valet would disappear for 15 minutes at a time with only one car. They started using an app which initially I thought was nice but it did not good and actually seemed to slow the process. Even when we got there, had to wait while a valet chatted with a lady who didn’t even use the service for 5 minutes. May have been helpful to her but by the time we got up to then there were 5 more cars behind us.
- 5/5
Spectrum Center just across the street. Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
Everything was near by, I definitely got my steps in it was perfect!!!!!!
- 5/5
Friendly, nice staff! Very clean hotel. We were very satisfied with the whole process, from booking the reservation to our arrival up to our departure. Valet parking service was very much appreciated they were kind, courteous and willing to go above and beyond.
- 5/5
Quick and easy check in. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The hotel itself is nice and the location is very good. However, the rooms are extremely noisy, as there is a tram line running right next to the building along with barriers that make a lot of noise every time the tram passes. The hotel is clearly aware of this, since earplugs were already provided in the room — a nice detail, but unfortunately they don’t really help because the noise from outside is just too loud.
- 4/5
Overall a really nice hotel. In our room the shade to cut out light wouldn’t come down. Also the bathroom sink seemed clogged and didn’t drain well.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and the property was clean. The hotel is located near everything! We will be back!
- 5/5
Large room and modern appliances and electronics.
- 5/5
Overall a great stay. The property is modern, clean and in an excellent location. Walking distance to everything. The room was ver clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
Zero bottled water on the property, not even in the hotel store for sale. Had to switch rooms multiple times due to bad smells. Towels smelled sweaty.
- 5/5
Parking in the garage was expensive but other than that it was perfect!
- 5/5
Super great location. We were able to walk to the football stadium and restaurants. Clean. Bar was nice. Would highly recommend

Clean room

Depending on which side of the hotel you get makes a difference. We were on the third floor which was nice and convenient, but the public transportation train tracks were right outside of our window. We could hear the trains all night even over having the A/C unit running. Breakfast as just ok. Just a typical continental breakfast. Location was good. Definitely would not walk to Panthers Stadium, but the basketball arena was right at the hotel. We used the valet service for our car which eliminated a lot of stress.

Prime location in the heart of downtown Charlotte. Across the street from the Spectrum Center and within walking distance of eateries. Room was clean, service was great, was able to get a late checkout and Valet Parking attendants were very helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

Great place
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
My wife and I enjoyed a night at this hotel in Charlotte. I appreciated the elevator access was restricted to our floor and the breakfast was clean and delicious. Valet parking made it easy getting in and out. Although there weren't any events or crowds outside the hotel late that night, they offered white noise and ear plugs since trains run by. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and fully stocked. Thanks!
- 5/5
Was great as always
- 5/5
the hotel was nice.
- 5/5
Housekeeping was not very pleasant.
- 5/5

- 5/5
The hotel was great!!! I definitely plan on staying again
- 5/5
Clean room, walkable, staff was great!
- 3/5
Not much for food options.
- 4/5
I would stay there again, but what I didnt like was if 1 persin in your party needed a room card, the rest of the parties cards were voided!
- 5/5
Arrived early and was able to check in before 3 pm and what I didn’t like was the tv had to be unplugged to get the sound.
- 5/5
Walking distance from restaurants and convention center
- 5/5
Wonder please
- 5/5
Love this place, parking could be better/ more affordable.
- 2/5
Will not stay there again, I am still waiting for a receipt from the hotel, did not know they were taking $50.00 each night and put it on hold until 3 to 5 business days. Check in was not good.checking out was worse, I ask for a receipt, he said he could not print one they were doing a audit, I was trying to check out early, the night before I tried to check out, they said I could check out at 4:00 am,did not happen.
- 5/5
Great property. Convenient to convention center, light rail, and restaurants. Very comfortable room. Great shower. Good bathroom lighting.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Train bells all the time
- 5/5
They let us get in early to our room rather than storing our luggage - such amazing staff!
- 5/5
Always a great stay!
- 4/5
Everything was great. Had a hard time trying to find my girl a parking spot.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Overall wonderful experience
- 5/5
Great stay at this property! Our only issue was the cost of parking/valet and this was due to our lack of research before staying in this type of city area. We didn’t expect to pay so much for parking but the hotel was clean, nice staff and the complementary breakfast was good!
- 4/5
$40/night for parking is wild! Though parking staff was very nice! On Saturday, there was only waffles and
- 5/5
The staff were great! The breakfast area gets congested and dirty during the weekend morning rush bust that’s to be expected. The hotel common areas were kept tidy and our room was clean. There was some construction going on around the outside and we were steps from the tram so there was lots of noise from it running through the city 24/7. Other than that we were steps away from great restaurants and night life. If you want great recommendations ask the OG in Valet. He has all the details
- 4/5
Nice but I guess what out on parking they tell you one price and charge more.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and close to a lot of restaurants.
- 5/5
Very nice room, clean and new
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Staff were very professional.
- 5/5
Great room and cleanness service!
- 5/5
I was able to have a Suite while away for a conference, and the room was huge! The property was clean, quiet, and my views of Uptown Charlotte were beautiful. There were plenty of items at breakfast for all dietary needs.
- 3/5
Parking was an issue. There was no electronic check in or out.
- 5/5
Great location, very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Nice location
- 5/5
Overall a great stay. Location was outstanding. Friendly staff and clean rooms. This will be my new place to stay when I am in town.
- 2/5
Rooms comfortable but very noisy. Room wasn’t serviced during our stay. Only one out of the three lifts worked. Breakfast finished at 9:30, not 10am as reception told us. Woman in breakfast room unhelpful and rude.
- 5/5
City center with affordable price.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel, the beds were amazing and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Amazing vibe right when you enter the lobby. Cool background music, nice smell, everything felt really nice. The hotel is right in the middle of everything - and across from the arena of the NBA team. Great location, great value, friendly staff. 10/10
- 5/5
Very uptown! Parking is pricey, but so is parking all over uptown Charlotte.
- 4/5
Area didn’t feel overly safe upon arrival but Valet outside took care of it immediately. Breakfast was very good compared to other hotels I’ve been to in that price range. Elevators 1/2 didn’t work and we were forced to wait for just one elevator for all guests. 11th floor with bags was not an option. Ice machine very clean but no vending machines in hallways. Small variety store beside from desk for snacks was available but on ground floor. All in all, I’m pleased with the hotel. True Marriott experience.
- 4/5
I like the location but not the cost of parking.
- 5/5
Very Friendly staff and clean. Breakfast was a nice surprise, as they had so much to choose from.
- 5/5
I like everything about the property besides checking in. The front desk receptionist charge the wrong card for my stay. So that change a lot for my two day stay.
- 5/5
Simply amazing location & rooms!!
- 5/5
Great location. The hotel was nice and clean. Checking in and out was quick. Valet service was nice especially being able to request your car from your phone. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Everything was great and they had one of the best hotel staff I've seen in a while
- 5/5
Hotel was great. Staff was professional. Will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
I would have given 5 stars but i ordered grubhub to be delivered and the front desk (2 guys) around midnight Saturday started screaming " maam Maaam!!!" Mind you i just left a concert a few minutes prior so im hard of hearing at this point. I had walked to the beverage station to refill my water with those small disposable cups they had out. Now there pointing at another man with McDonald's in his hand. And i say oh no i got my food thanks must be someone elses. I point to a sealed bag of food.Turn back to finish filling my little cup an they are yelling again " maam maam! Stop you cannot eat there!" ... i pick up my bag of food that is taped completely shut since it was a delivery and say "im just trying to get water i have a room here." They just sort of shrug, look annoyed and say" oh sorry "and go back to playing on there phones . I thought them screaming in a lobby was a bit much and rude. Wont stay at this location again which is a shame as i did enjoy everything else
- 5/5
Great location, clean.
- 5/5
Everything perfect
- 5/5
Clean, although cold at entrance, good gym
- 5/5
Hotel was comfortable a s clean. Staff was vwry professional.
- 5/5
Very close to the venue we attended. You do hear the noise from all the city life outside, but it was not loud enough to disrupt my sleep. Valet parking was convenient. Overall, I would stay again for the proximity to the downtown venues and restaurants. The security was great with the requirement to use a key card for the elevator to function.
- 5/5
Front desk workers were very nice! Enjoyed our stay and will return.
- 5/5
I liked the cleanliness of the property
- 5/5
Valet was very helpful. The hotel was clean. Comfortable. Nice bathrooms. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants.

- 5/5
great location great breakfast
- 5/5
Nice place and friendly staff. Great walkable area with many restaurants and bars. Fun neighborhood
- 5/5
I really liked the hotel. It's very clean, and everything is close to shopping and the Spectrum Center is right next door. Highly recommended for a concert, it's a good price, and the studio was very spacious.
- 5/5
Only thing I didn't like was the valet parking. I'm just not used to that. I like having immediate access to my car.
- 4/5
Convenient location, solid space, great staff!
- 5/5
Great location downtown Charlotte, NC. Conveniently located for LLMF and eating locations. Very clean and very nice valet staff!
- 2/5
The room didn't feel clean...
- 3/5
We were able to check in very early after a red-eye flight and that is what made our single night stay a positive experience. We were so tired and very grateful! Everything else was "meh". The hotel sits right on the light rail line so definitely expect a lot of noise in the wee hours of the morning until late at night with the sound of the train and train "bells" (they do provide ear plugs and offer sound machines). Our drain was slow. One of their public bathrooms on the dining level was flooded with used toilet water and despite letting them know they didn't seem to rush to fix it. Some staff seemed new/untrained or uncertain about how various things worked at the hotel like laundry etc. Not the cleanest hotel, but not "dirty" per se. Breakfast was a nice spread and generally well done. Typical mid-level corporate hotel.
- 5/5
The stay was awesome as well as the staff. Valet was phenomenal!
- 5/5
WENT ON A STAYCATION WITH MY DAUGHTER WE HAD A GREAT STAY.
- 4/5
everything that was shown on the internet was there. We did have to call the front desk because the TV volume was not working, and we needed more coffee instead of the one coffee that was offered. More than anything we were Outraged when we returned after coming back from dinner and were charged $30, and leaving the next day not $30. but $45.00. It was never mentioned anywhere the cost of the parking that was right next to the Hotel. So that made a beautiful trip upsetting for Me!
