For it to be part of Hilton expected an actual breakfast like home 2 suites but we were fine with bagels and didn’t like how you could hear person next door showering early am waking me up walls very thin

Although no restaurants in walking distance there are plenty just a 5 minute drive away. Small green spaces for pets surround the hotel.

The staff member overseeing breakfast was very particular and made sure the space was clean and immaculate at all times. Only suggestion from my husband is to add more protein to your breakfast. When I booked the room there was nothing stating that I had to live atleast 50 miles away after paying and booking I received a message stating that I must live 50 miles away from hotel to book. I messaged them back and let them know that I lived 46 miles away and wanted to know would that be a problem I was only coming for one night. I didn’t hear back figured everything was fine got to hotel was told at first I didn’t live far enough away to stay there. I told the guy it’s 4 miles short I’m only here because my husband has an appointment at the hospital early in the morning. He let us check after a few back and forth words. But made sure to let me know it would be noted that I was aware now of the policy. I let him know no worries I’d book elsewhere if I had to do it again. Stay away from here. Towel rack in bathroom falling off the wall. Light didn’t cut off had to literally flip it off and on and mess with it to find its spot to keep it off. Found trash under the bed and in the floor. Very disappointing I’ve stayed at other Hilton owned places before but spark will never be on my list again. Hilton may not be after this visit.

Breakfast was great, they were quick to refill stations as they were being emptied. Room was very spacious and it had a small living room. Overall was clean and smelled good. Not enough towels or comforters. Check in is only until 10:00pm, almost did not make it due to traffic. Nearest to highway, safety was questionable.

Nice Staff, clean room and a decent light breakfast! Great place for a quick overnight stay! Only down side was the pool area needed to be attended to. There were used towels everywhere and no clean ones… not a huge issue but it did make it a little less appealing! All in all a great place for a quick stay!

The staff were very professional. I unfortunately had one son act like a fool. His brothers reported how professional and kind the staff was. The lady in security went all out to ensure safety for all. I am sorry my son created a problem. I heard good things about how well your staff handled things. The staff were very professional. My sons took their brother to sit for the boards. The one son drank alcohol and made an ass of himself. The staff handled things in a very professional manner. I am sorry the staff had to experience a rude drunk. My other sons told me how well you handled the situation

I got kicked out and promised a full refund and have no received anything a month later, highly upset and will not stay again.

The room was borderline acceptably clean, but the bedding was synthetic, unpleasant to the touch, and too hot. The pillows, filled with synthetic fibers, were uncomfortable as well. Otherwise, everything was more or less as expected.

The property was nice & I love the area. It’s secluded which I absolutely love. Rooms were clean, elevators and hallways which is a plus. The breakfast selection. It’s not much to choose from and only filling to people who eat bagels and cream cheese. No hot food, so I had to go buy my own breakfast.

Anthony was great! He had excellent customer service and was very helpful.

I like that the room was very clean and neat. Additionally, my name was on the television, and everything was fully stocked. The staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting me with extra blankets even though I found out later there were some in the closet. I also like that the breakfast was fresh, and staff was constantly making sure that everything was clean and well stocked. I would also like to add that the refrigerator was very spacious and cold. It kept my frozen food frozen and my drinks and food cold as well. I was very happy with my stay and room. I also liked that they locked the doors at a certain time so it helped me to feel very safe.

The front desk staff were welcoming and ensured everything was well for our stay.

We were impressed with the Spark Hotel staff, the cleanliness of rooms, the hallways, the lobby, and the grounds around the hotel everything went well.

Great Location! Near restaurants and Starbucks. The hotel was very clean and very user-friendly. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were big and had a fridge and microwave. The staff was really helpful Breakfast was free, which we always love when we have an early departure, We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well situated off the highway- nice enough but the staff were unpleasant. I called to inquire about a pack and play for our infant and the hotel clerk said it was too late and I’d have to set it up myself. Her tone was annoyed and after a long day of travelling, I expected a warmer welcome.

I chose this property based on great reviews but I was highly disappointed . After driving 9 hours to get to Charlotte for an event, it was disappointing that upon my arrival there a loud domestic argument in the parking lot before I even made it inside. Within the first 10 min. of my arrival, I felt like hotel had been overrun by thug behavior. The 3rd floor was filled with marijuana smoke, people yelling, laughing, slamming doors. I had to roll up a towel and block the smoke and odor from entering my room between the door and floor. I left my room one time to retrieve a charging cord from my vehicle and did not feel safe in the hallway or the elevator due to the clientele and their previous behavior. I actually questioned whether I might get mugged in the elevator by the same individual involved in an altercation in the parking lot upon my arrival. I called the front desk about the marijuana and they were aware but no one seemed apologetic whatsoever. The noise continued until past 1am and not only did I get little sleep, it was a very unpleasant and unsafe-feeling environment. Having said that, I’m sure this hotel is not always like this. This was a clientele issue. Large groups + thug behavior = problems and unhappy, legitimate paying patrons who suffer because the hotel should have kicked them out and won’t. I quietly checked out the next morning. Front desk didn’t ask how my stay was or seem to care either. I could not get out of there fast enough. Total bummer.

The staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean and comfortable and in a great location close to Quail Hollow where the pga tournament was being held I liked their breakfast bagel bar but wished they had more choices than just Bagels, cereal and yogurt. Maybe like bacon, eggs and toast too.

My room was clean and comfortable and I liked the special touch of my name on the tv. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. I just wished they had scrambled eggs instead of hard boiled eggs.

The place is really nice and it’s real clean! The only downfall is the staff they had at the check-in. We checked in about 3:30ish and she looked like she was over it and annoyed. Not really friendly, however when they switched staffs the guy that took over was great! He was super friendly and nice and even gave my dog a doggie treat bag. Overall it was great!

This is a very bare bones hotel, but very clean and everyone is very friendly. The breakfast is not much, but it’s free, so you can’t really complain. Rooms are interestingly, decorated, but clean, spacious and comfortable.

VERY clean and current furnishings. Parking is ample, with a hedge to back up to for better security. Staff, especially Anthony, the Assistant Mgr. I forgot my purse. He immediately secured it, and made arrangements for it to be Fedex'd to me. I am eternally grateful. He deserves an accommodation! Honest people are refreshing to come across.

Hotel was located ideal to highway and plenty of shopping/food options. South Park Mall is on the same street on the opposite end. Short distance from downtown. Surrounded by other hotels; area felt safe, brightly lite at night and quiet. Hotel was clean from lobby to gym to outside area to rooms. Lovely staff and complimentary breakfast was super basic but actually was just enough to give us some fuel for the day. We were surprised with keys to a suite; which was extremely spacious and comfortable. Hotel seems very new and visually recommended a few things to make it comfortable for the next guests. (At least in the suite we were in) The bedroom did not have a dresser/drawers to store away things, no safe either, the toilet paper holder was way too far (not at arms reach) and it would be a great idea to also keep some dish towels by extra sink in living space area; I am not a coffee drinker but did not notice a machine in the room but it seemed like it available at all times in the lobby. Does not take away from my 5 star review nor my choice to one day return again. Thank you.

I had a quick overnight stay due to delayed flights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The walls must be very thin because I heard every door slam and conversation from the hallway. Friendly staff, semi-conveniently located for the airport, although surprisingly pricey transport to/from.

Check-in and check-out were easy. If you intend to use your Hilton member points or card, reserve your room(s) with Hilton, not through a third-party such as Expedia, Hotels.com, ... I found that out the hard way(: The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. A big-screen television, microwave, and compact refrigerator were in the room. Lots of towels and hot water, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion were in the bathroom. I used the gym. I believe it included elliptical equipment, treadmills, bikes, weights, and a stretching machine. I used the mat. I did not see sanitizing wipes. Uh oh. Bring your own wipes. The gym also included a television, towels, hot and cold water. For those who like a cold continental breakfast, you will love it-bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee. No hot food other than bagels for "southern breakfast" lovers. 24/7 coffee was a plus. Sufficient breakgast seating and ample outlets too. Hotel has an expectedly pricey convenience "store"-i.e., bring food and drinks with you. The hotel experience was very nice. Spark marketing department can definitely contact me with offers for testing other its locations:) Enjoy!

This hotel was very convenient for us as we came to visit the Billy Graham Library, and we were able to travel back and forth very easily. The room was spacious by various hotel standards, and we appreciated the thought that went into the room layout. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made us feel at home. Since we come to visit the Library about once a year, we will definitely stay at this hotel again - no need to look around when you find exactly the perfect match for your needs! And parking... plenty of it!

Was dlong maintenance thecWHOLE time we were there. Woke us up drilling & hammering both days. Told front desk but NOTHING done.

Could not get wi-fi to work to play PlayStation

The room was spotless. Everything in the room worked as it should. The complimentary breakfast had lots of options, and the dining area was also very clean. All of the staff were friendly and quick to help.

Breakfast used to be better when this was a Wyndham property. Everything else was fine.

Great location! Literally 15 min from everything and 10 from the airport. Hotel was very clean, continental breakfast was great and just what we needed. Had a pool but didn’t get a chance to experience it. Work out room had lots of equipment and was clean! Would recommend!

Clean room , but the pilow and blanket smels a dog or cat!! In the elevator were traces of urine from dog!

Spark (previously Wingate) has been my go to hotel for the last 7 years on my way home from vacation. I have never been disappointed. The beds are comfy! The staff have always been very kind and helpful. Already looking to book for next year!

Fastest check-in I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Unfortunately the elevators were really slow. Everything else was fine. I would stay here again.

Clean rooms and wonderful staff

This particular sight was filming a commercial which displaced guests entry to building (I am handicapped.) It also displaced breakfast eating to outside. The filming crew was well fed hot breakfast while guests had cold breakfast outside. All really showing guests were not a priority. Also our last night we had extremely loud neighbors yelling, TV loud, basically partying after 11:30.

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Very limited food.

This hotel is incredible. Room was spacious and everything is very clean. It's close to a number of restaurants and the staff is incredibly friendly. I've stayed at a number of hotels in the Charlotte area and this is by far my best experience. I'll definitely be back.

Very easy check in and out , clean , big room and technology

Noisy neighbours but not the hotels fault. I can tell the hotel is newly renovated. The paint jobs in the room say a lot. Our door was hard to open. Limited breakfast options (no scrambled eggs or waffles) but food choices still decent. I’d be open to trying this brand again elsewhere.

We stayed here for one night after landing at CLT. The front desk was good. Our room smelled like mildew after we turned the AC on. The AC was unbearable with the sounds all night, along with the smell. The pillows smelled like sweat. We would have asked to move rooms but we traveled cross-country, arriving around midnight with kids and were totally exhausted. I am not sute I would recommend this property.

Great location for my family close the shopping, restaurants and my family and friends.

This hotel was so nice, I took pictures and sent them to family members! The lobby was open and modern and the staff, friendly and helpful. When we reached our floor, the first thing we noticed was the smell. It actually smelled clean and fresh! Our room was spacious and clean. There was even an extra blanket in the closet in case we needed it! And the full-size, all natural soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion in the bathroom was icing on the cake. This Spark by Hilton was far more than we expected!

This property was extremely clean and looks like it was just recently built. The staff was very nice and the hotel was quiet. I will definitely stay here again.

We booked a room here very last second because the hotel down the street had a mold issue. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this hotel. I think it is reasonably priced.

The place was great the only problem was the bed. The bed was an old school spring matters that caused back pain. The other things was the cleaning ladies knocking at the door at 8 am to clean. Check out is at 11. I get that they want to get a jump on things but I’m there to relax and get ready for my day not wake up to cleaning lady tapping at the door

For breakfast it would have been greater if eggs were available and pancakes. Other wise ok. Staff was great and facility was top notch

Quiet

The staff at check-in was wonderful. However, the room was less than desirable. It was extremely humid and felt like all the furniture was damp. Comforters were pilled and appeared kind of dingy, the door did not seem to shut all the way overall just felt uneasy during our stay.

Very loud at night. People yelling in the halls. One girl even knocked on our door in the middle of the night telling us to let her in. Parking area noise-people outside late.

One of the best hotels in this price range that we have stayed at. They were kind enough to let us check in early. Clean, well-maintained rooms, lobby and breakfast area. Great location and spacious parking. Highly recommend.

I like everything about this hotel except its breakfast offerings.

I have stayed at this property only 2 times and both times have been evacuated because of a fire alarm. The first time was a year ago and we were evacuated at night. This time it was at 10 in the morning. What's up with that? This alone will probably make me think twice before staying here again.

We had issues checking in .worse experience .held out money on card when we paid with cash and wouldn’t release it .lost my licenses they lied said they looked on camera and I put in in my purse and after they lied they found it under a stack of papers .no discount for all the troubles we went through .rooms smelled bad .i won’t deal with this place again

I had everything I needed and the staff was super friendly! Housekeeping and the crew who put together a breakfast each morning were wonderful! Anthony l, the assistant manager, is always super nice and helpful! This is my 2nd visit and I’m sure I’ll be back again!

The room was neat and clean. I even used the laundry room to wash my clothes. The outside and surrounding areas were well kept and appeared safe. My only wish is that the breakfast had bacon.

Our stay at Spark by Hilton was great! The staff was wonderful, including the man who kept the breakfast bar up and running--super friendly and always making sure everyone had what they needed. The room was very clean and had everything we needed already stocked. The bathroom was fresh and clean as well with plenty of towels for our use during our stay. The location was great, right off 77, so easy access around town. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the hotel to others.

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast setup. Our room faced the road so there was road noise at night. Bathroom was on the small side. The hotel itself was not noisy. An in room safe would have been nice. Very convenient to the rail line in Charlotte.

Nice. TV didn't work but she was able to send the security man up a couple of hours later.

Overall very good. But to get to town or anywhere we need to go you have to go one way and then find some way to turn around to get to the other direction.

The property is conveniently located off I-77 and only several minutes outside of downtown. The housekeeping staff was rude and over bearing during my short stay. I travel often, and has never encountered such disrespectful behavior by a staff member.

Very Convenient and excellent service

I have no problems with the property. Staff very friendly and helpful, Staff takes pride in being helpful and keeping rooms and common areas clean. Bags for dog poop set up around the hotel and soap is available for handwashing in key locations. Dining room was very clean. The guests also took pride in being considerate!

We always spend the night here when we have a long drive to Maryland. The only thing missed this time was the hot breakfast.
