We had an amazing time. The room was better than we’d anticipated. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a beautiful facility. The room was very well laid out. And parking in the garage was nicely located. We would definitely stay there again. Loved the room view. Staff was very helpful. And we the restaurant we chose to dine at was decent. But next time I would probably check out the one on the rooftop

This property was very clean and very safe. My room on the 19th floor was very big and clean. Everyone in guest services was super helpful with getting me out of the parking garage when I got lost haha. I like that the parking garage has a lot of security and locked doors for guests only. I loved my city views and closeness to important landmarks uptown. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Although very comfortable at first, the bed was too soft and we all woke up stiff and sore! Ha! Ha! That’s what happens to middle aged folks! Beds matter! Enjoy your stay! Oh, and breakfast was great!

I had a lovely stay. The only downside is parking. To self park is 34$ a day. Otherwise, no problems. 👍

No nightstand on one side of the king bed, had to put my things on the floor, no cooktop as expected, brought my pans and cooking utensils, and food that needed to be cooked, but all I had was a microwave, the staff at the front desk was very polite, the rooftop bar wasn't open when we wanted to go, neither was the restaurant, valet person reaked of pot which is operated separately from the hotel but you have to use them since the hotel doesn't offer the service themselves, really didn't want them driving my rental car to who knows where, but had to, hotel lacks their own luggage carts apparently you have to borrow them from the valet, and there is no service to assist with taking luggage up to the rooms starting on the 14th floor, under that floor there is a different hotel, the block it's on is creepy, the story is the area was so unsafe that it's safe now with multiple sherrifs, police, armed private security forces on foot, patrol vehicles, and bikes about every 50 feet within the block, and it's convenient to walk to the nice areas a couple blocks away for food and entertainment, public art sculptures and parks, everything nearest to the hotel like a multi-story mall with a variety of shops and eateries is only open a few hours in the morning through early afternoon then they're all closed down at like 2pm, probably because it used to be a dangerous location, but now it seems OK just creepy when you and the police forces are the only people outside at the same time

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast lady was very nice. We did have some dog excrement outside our door which didn’t get clean up until the next morning. Seems it should have been taken care of immediately. Overall though, an excellent stay.

I was impressed the moment I arrived. The use of the secured gate system showed safety mattered. Having to use your key to access floors and entrance to hotel eased any safety concerns. The attendant who checked us in was extremely polite. Our room was very clean and well kept. Our stay exceeded our expectations!

What can I say about this Hotel other than EXCELLENT all away around. The staff is top notch. The check in staff upgraded me to a one bedroom suite on the 18th floor with a corner view of downtown. I don’t have any loyalty card with them but treated me as I was a gold member. Being across the street from the Spectrum center was a big plus. I will be staying with them again

Enjoyable place to stay in downtown Charlotte. Love the proximity to the Spectrum Center. Parking is a little confusing with two hotels sharing the same building. Signs at parking said $17 per night but it’s $34 per night for self parking and $42 for Valet parking.

My experience felt as if i was at a resort.. I didn't have to leave the space..From breakfast, fitness and the amazing nightlife experience on the rooftop..

Everything about the hotel was fine, the check-in process was ridiculous, we showed up at 4:30 an hour and a half after check-in, and had to wait about an hour to get our rooms. Every time we asked we were told the same thing, they just need 20 minutes more. They were severely shortstaffed all around, however outside of the check-in process everybody was very friendly. They only had one person helping with breakfast which was ridiculous based on the size of the hotel. She was running around working as hard as she could and stayed very professional and polite, but could not keep up with the demands of dozens of guests in a very small breakfast area with equipment that did not hold up to the size of the hotel. I don’t blame the staff I blame whoever owns this for not investing or hiring enough to keep up with it. The location was amazing, the hotel was in great shape , the only issue with short staffing and incompetent staff.

We got to the hotel... we were told there was no parking at the front so we had to park on the parking deck.. which was confusing.. we carried all our luggage with us thinking it was a simple process but was not. We had to walked up and down stairs then out to the main street with our toddler while carrying our things.. finally reached the main entrance to find out we need to ride a elevator to the 14th floor. We got on the elevator not knowing it needs a key to operate... the elevator closed and didn't open until someone on the outside pushed the button to use it. Made it to our room to the handicapped rales in shower were leaking black stuff. Table was sturdy. Crumbs in chair. Breakfast was not good. I went outside to smoke to find out I have to walk through the parking deck on again because the main entrance was not open at 6am. Thought we could enjoy the roof top to find out it was for adults only. I was totally not prepared for this night mare! The hotel had a amazing view but that is about all I can say

All elevators not working and the staff just puts you on hold. Had to walk 17 flights of stairs with luggage and trade show gear with freshly operated on elbow. Marriott continues to slide from the legacy it once was.

I love the hotel the only issue I had was charges trying to be pulled from my account 3AM as if someone downstairs trying to bill my room with the card on file luckily I keep my cards locked also my girls and I stayed there and we needed more wash clothes and towels so we can shower and lay down it took them 2 hours to bring it and lastly I asked every cleaning person on the floor each day can they tighten up my room a little nobody never came I kept up with my room I just wanted someone to grab the trash and extra linen from the door but instead I did everything and sat my trash and linen in cart with the other dirty stuff the ladies were pulling

When I checked in the clerk Angela ran my card twice. She claimed that the payment for incidentals didnt go through. As a result I had 3 different charges totaling 342.00! Only 50 dollars was supposed to be changed for incidentals. They say 5 to 10 business days before I get my refund. To open the room door I had to use my shoulder to push the door. It was sticking. The hotel was clean but could use some renovation.

The breakfast was good, I brought my own oatmeal from home to eat, but the water for the coffee was not hot enough and there was no microwave. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Excellent greating by the valet, the young man with longer hair was great. The check in process was easy. The two women at front desk were friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. The only issues...WI-FI spotty so smart tvs buffered, there was loud banging near my room on 17th floor. Otherwise, the stay was good overall.

Fantastic staff was both friendly and supportive of any questions. They helped to navigate the city and offered ideas for the night out.

Good coffee but the other items were just ok. This hotel is within walking distance to some nice restaurants. Clean, good space, full kitchen, and conveniently located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte across from the Spectrum Center and walking distance to Bank of America Stadium. This is our second time staying here. Booked second time due to location and good experience when we stayed in Charlotte a few years ago.

The room was clean and up-to-date. The property itself was well-maintained and it is located near many attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful with both check-in and check-out. The self-parking was very interesting. However, I did receive detailed instructions which were very easy to follow and provided a seamless parking experience. I was greatly appreciative of that information received beforehand.

We only stayed for one night because of a function near by. The staff was helpful with all our questions, ease with parking and checking in early. Breakfast in morning was adequate but didn't have coffee creamer which is so prevalent in most hotel chains. Just a small offering for guests. I would definitely stay here again. Good location.

The hotel was great! Didn’t know that parking was $35 more till an email just before arrival. Valet was$43 , so we valet since it is a 22 story hi rise. Double charged by the valet 2days later!

We waited 20 minutes for food to be replenished. Staff was walking around the food but not even replenishing it. I had to make the staff and front desk aware of the situation.

Amazing experience! Beautiful hotel with beautiful views of the city. Great location. The rooftop restaurant is delicious and very scenic. The AC restaurant was good to go to for some late night food and a night cap. Their breakfast had plenty of options and that really means a lot because I am very limited with a special diet that I have to abide by.

Center City location was great for us. Nuvole Rooftop Twenty-Two was our favorite amenity! View of the city, cocktail and food were excellent! Our room was clean, large enough, comfortable and had ample mirrors and shelf spaces. Expensive self-parking and valet service.

The concierge, Eric was fountain of information about the area. He was able to give amazing recommendations for restaurants, entertainment and things to do all around Charlotte. Just because of his personality and his ability to get people checked into their rooms I would highly recommend that you stay here.

Never stayed downtown charlotte before and I don’t think I will again. Very noisy. Overall the hotel was very hot, the room, the elevator, just everywhere. My first and last time at a Marriott.

bed was very soft and the pillows were soft and collapsable, which I didn't care for. Great view of the city. Cannot rave enough about the staff we interacted with and their attention to detail. It seemed the hotel was short staffed, but those who were there rose to the challenge to make sure excellent customer service was provided.

Hotel was very clean

Parking was in city so a normal for uptown. But the breakfast was gross. Frozen sandwiches n eggs only. Needs more meat n fresh fruit

Breakfast was not great but OK. Area is a little more vagrant than expected. Staff are nice but not always at the desk.

Room were scheduled to be cleaned every other day and my room was cleaned only once during my stay. My family and I also had to t all the front desk to order toilet paper. I’ve never had such an experience. Last, I asked management to call me about the issues and NO ONE has made an attempt to call me since I checked out on July 16th.

Love the property , and the roof top was good. Dj could have been better with music selection. 80s n 90s music not 1950s music.

Your entire staff was great. Check in was flawless and Brian provided exceptional concierge service and is truly an asset to your company.

The room was as expected. It was clean and had a nice view of the downtown area. It had a kitchen with dishes, a coffe machine and a refridgerator. There was a brand new scrub daddy, some dish soap and one pod for the dishwasher which I did not expect. I would definitwly stay here again, especially if it was for multiple days at a time.

But for us it was the staff that set this place apart. Our pre-registration requests were honored without having to bring them up again. They were always helpful with answers to questions, greeting us, and smiling. Even when we returned to the room late on July 4 and found leak in the ceiling, the staff moved us within 10 minutes of phoning apologetically to an upgraded room. When we return to CLT we will seek out this property again.

Great downtown location that made it easy to walk as needed (or take the train)

Overall, this was a great experience. The staff was very helpful with the visit. I plan on staying here again soon.

Loved it!

Great view of the city. Rooftop view is phenomenal. Food and drinks were great on the rooftop. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Perhaps needed two more pillows or a firmer pillow. Not a big issue.

Very slow elevator. Super loud outside at 5:30 in the morning. Lasted over 20 minutes. Front desk said it was probably garbage truck and there was nothing they could do.

Beautiful rooms, clean, modern, great location. Excellent communication in days leading up to stay (esp since we were coming in for Bananas). They do need to add some signage, we used valet & then had no idea where to go to check in (who thinks of 14th floor). The elevator service was a total mess. Not sure if all running, lines & at least a 5 minute wait to access one.

The room was excellent. Only complaint that i have is having to wait on elevators to get to and from your room. Being that there is 2 hotels in one, it took me 20 minutes to get to my room with the elevators going up and down constantly.

The small plates at the rooftop bar were delicious! Definitely try the smoked halibut!

Very clean, quiet, and exceptional customer service given by valet, front desk employees, and cleaning ladies. Rooms are perfectly laid out with plenty of space for traveling with kids. Will book again very soon!

The room was large and very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen area and couch. Ice maker in fridge. Breakfast was good. Area is sketchy. Parking lot was a little confusing but not bad priced. Service was good.

The issue we had was key cards not working for elevator

This was one of the best hotel stays in a long time! Everything was perfect!

Worth the extra money to stay somewhere like this that is really nice feels safe.

My daughter and I stayed for a single night over the weekend. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Every single person we interacted with went out of their way to be helpful. I even had an employee stop in the parking garage to help us find the stairway to the ground floor as he was leaving for the day! Above and beyond my expectations. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't have any issues with noise through the night. Parking is a little confusing but totally doable. To park you pull in to the left of the valet sign and turn right (around the corner) to enter the garage. Follow the blue dashed lines to p4 and park. Signs will direct you to the elevators. Ring the buzzer to be let in. Go to floor 14 to check in. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the area the hotel was in and the surrounding areas , being able to see the city from your room was cool too. One thing I didn’t like was the elevators and how you went through so much to get to your room. Overall stay 9/10

Love this place

The building where the hotel is located is shared with the AC hotel and amenities and check in are located on multiple floors. We were attracted to the hotel because of the rooftop bar which was closed for renovations at the time of our stay. Good location if you need to be in the uptown area of Charlotte.

the remote to the television was idk weak the wifi didnt work for my microsoft gaming console i was charged an additional $100 after the initial $150 the ticket i was issued for the parking deck some how expired before 2-11 18:00 like it say printed on the ticket and i had pay $40 to exit the parking garage after “check out”

Great stay. Breakfast wasn’t great. There were a lot of items that needed to be refilled like plates, eggs, bagels, yogurt…

My room had no power when I got it at night so had to te pack everything and move to another room elevators where down 2 times and had to walk 16 flights of stairs to my floor

We enjoyed a Christmas trip to Charlotte and Residence Inn at Charlotte City Center met our expectations. It is located next to the rail transportation center and was very quiet and safe. The employees were nice and helpful, especially the girl who worked the breakfast area. We would stay here again.

Our stay at the Residence Inn was great! We went to watch our first NBA and NFL games. The Bank of America stadium for NFL was minutes away and the Spectrum Center for NBA was within walking distance. I loved its locations convenience.. there were food places everywhere!! Would definitely book there again. The place was clean and the room was much bigger than most hotels.
