Checked with me every day just make sure whether or not I needed anything like towels or paper etc. It didn’t come with a Masseuse.

After being accounted we VERY quickly went up to the room, and after we turned the light on and saw bugs run we left! This is by far the worst hotel I've ever seen. We did not stay, they refused to give us a refund, but there was no chance we were staying. Sleeping in our car (NOT in that parking lot) was a safer and cleaner option. Please read the other reviews, especially the ones with pictures of the bugs and fire hazards in the rooms! I cant imagine why this hotel is still in business. Don't walk, RUN from this place.

The pictures are not what this hotel looks like. It’s total different hotels. They’re using the pictures from. Absolutely nothing it reeked of marijuana. The pictures that they’re showing is not this hotel. It’s filthy in the hallway. It’s filthy everywhere.

This is not necessarily the fault of Jason, the individual at the front desk;however, I highly recommend avoiding staying here if at all possible. Our first room was on the first floor, and the window to the was broken and accessible to anyone from the exterior or outside. The bathroom sink bowl was broken so badly and caulked so poorly, that it leaked when basic water was run. W were moved to a second room, where the outlet covers were falling off the wall and the wires were overtly exposed. Finally, there were live bugs in the closet. It is unkempt, unsafe, and and neglected.

The staff was great. Room spacing/ style of room was nice touch. Slightly weird smell but not too bad. Breakfast served only for 2 hours didn’t get to try. Towels could be cleaner too.

The staff was nice and the cookers were polite. The hotel is clearly a drug drop off and pick-up, prostitution and scamming ring. It is not clean ANYWHERE. The bathroom was full of mold, although there is no smoking there are burn holes in anything that was still. The bed was horrible with springs coming up from the mattress, the toilet did not flush but did over flow twice, there was no fridge no microwave. Just dont waste your money or time and definitely dont do it if you have children.

Hotel staff don’t pick up the phone which made it hard to contact them. It took a while for someone to check us in because the staff member didnt come out from the back. The rooms were the definition of musty, they need to replace the carpets, sheets, cushions, everything. There are places that weren’t cleaned well and I saw some old and decaying things (I don’t even know what). Workout equipment doesn’t work. We stayed up most of the night because people were yelling in the rooms next to us and the staff didn’t come to check on them when informed. The doors are very thin so it was hard to feel safe with people yelling in the other room. There were open/missing windows in the stairwell. The breakfast was two cereal options and tiny muffins sitting out. TV remote didn’t work at all, one of the keycards didn’t work either. I wouldn’t come back here even if I was paid for it. SLOP!

Lobby smelled. Clerk had trouble using computer to check people in ahead of me and required waiting a long time to register. Room smelled. No bath towels in the room and I had to go down to find someone to get me towels. Toilet loose on floor. Handle fell off of shower valve. Breakfast was only white bread, mini muffins, or cereal. Butter, pre-made waffles, and a jug of milk in a cooler. I will not stay here again.

The price was the best part. The first room I was given had stains in the furniture and the carpet hadn’t been cleaned. The second room was a bit cleaner. Also smelled like cigarettes everywhere.

There was no oversight at all. People were standing around smoking throughout the property, and hotel staff did not address it. The overall environment was chaotic and uncomfortable.

Probably was dirty. The room was dingy and dark. The mirror in the bedroom look like a one-way mirror at the jail. I thought someone could see me in the room. The lighting was horrible and the hallway smelled rank. The elevator only went up and you couldn’t even press the button to go down. The lobby was full of people who didn’t even look like they had a room. The parking was free, but I thought somebody might break into my car

The rooms where dirty just plain out dirty and the place in completely run done stains on the walls and showers floor not clean I was scared to touch anything so immediately went to Walmart and got cleaning supplies the towels were stained so also brought those as well. No frige in the room furniture dirty and old. Water spots on the ceiling! This place needs to be shut down people walking around outside all times of night and the people next to me streaming and yelling all night I had to call the cops after calling the front desk 4 times in 5 hours of being there! There were prostitutes in the area. The lobby smelt like cigarettes and these supposed to be no smoking on the property. It was a disgusting experience.

The bathroom sink had hardly any water coming out of it. The rugs in and around the room and hotel looked very old and filthy. The morning breakfast that was included consisted of just a few slices of bread and a few small muffins. The reception desk phone was not being answered on a regular basis. The only thing that was positive about this experience was that the staff was friendly and nice. Overall, much to my disappointment, I would not recommend this hotel. Microtel is not the same hotel company that it used to be. Very disappointing.

My check in process was extremely convenient and the room was pretty well kept. The only bad thing was the mattress in my room had a dip on the left side.

DO NOT STAY HERE! YOU ARE SAFER SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR!

Front desk only attendant on the phone with several folks wanting to check in. Inside hotel, the elevator was out of order. Room: missing electrical covers posing danger of electrocution. Radio , telephone, wall decoration were taken out. Window would not lock, since the window could not be completely shot & it’s glass cracked. When turning the water in the shower the entire faucet appeared to move around. The vent cover partially shut & looks dirty. Free breakfast was truly a joke. The only ones appearing to do their job were room cleaning staff since sheets & towels were clean. In conclusion I know this properly has been ignored for sometime & poses several safety issues. It appears that this property has not been inspected for these safety issues otherwise would be shutting down. Pictures available.

There was no microwave or fridge. The tv was in the "closet space." Needs new flooring and bathroom was not clean. The breakfast was a no go. The apple juice had water coming out. But like i said you get what you paid for.

I stayed in this property once last year and it was better condition than this time. We found a roach crawling on the wall, the toilet bowl was chipped, broken at the rim, they tried to glue/caulk it back but it was still leaking out at each flush.

This place needs repairs and needs to be updated. My shower rods were falling out of the wall. The bed had a slant in it.( foot higher than the head) Unless you have to, don"t stay here.

This property should not be listed by Expedia. We walked into the room to find the window open, no ac, hall light did not work, no pillows, burn hole mark in one bed sheet, the second bed was not made up. Clearly an unsafe property re the repair marks of liquid wood on the rooms hall door and bathroom door. We turned the key back in and left.

Elevator broken, room was on 3rd floor. Recent rotator cuff surgery and had a heavy bag. Young man working did carry my bag up the stairs for me. Room was definitely a smoking room or had been. One light in entire room worked over one bed. That and one of 2 bathroom lights worked. Paint peeling, very much in need of repairs.

Elevator broken, room was on 3rd floor. Recent rotator cuff surgery and had a heavy bag. Young man working did carry my bag up the stairs for me. Room was definitely a smoking room or had been. One light in entire room worked over one bed. That and one of 2 bathroom lights worked. Paint peeling, very much in need of repairs.

Run down, lots of people around the parking lot at all hours of the night. Door in bathroom didnt shut, toilet paper holder half way attached to wall, crumbs on table, just at dirty place all together. I was not comfortable or felt safe. There was loud music and drug smells. Also, the room i was in felt and smelled mildew. The mattress was dented on one side. It was a horrible experience and definitely not kid friendly.

Stay away from this hotel! We booked two nights but barely made it through one night because of the absolutely terrible conditions. Hair everywhere, generally dirty all around, and very, very outdated budget appliances, furniture, and decor. We even saw an ant in the room (unsurprisingly). There were sketchy people loitering around the facility and in the parking lot. We didn’t feel safe/clean and left as soon as the sun came up.

The whole hotel smelled of stale cigars, despite there being no-smoking signs on every door. When we entered our room the door was wide open and the lights were on. The shower had bugs crawling all over it and there was no shower curtain. Also, the TV remote didn't connect to the TV. The staff was nice but the room was not at all as pictured.

My overall experience was not too bad for a one night stay . Checking in and out was fine. The hotel’s location was in a decent spot. The Staff was friendly. Now,I would say the place really does need to renovate and remodel as soon as they can . Outside of the building looked very dingy . Inside was just as bad. My wife and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times coming to Charlotte for concerts. However, not sure what happened but I have never been more disappointed in a hotel. The place was so run down. It was dirty, smelly and things in the room were missing or broken. You would never have known this was part of the microtel family. So sad!

Noise: There was loud music playing in an adjacent room, and what sounded like a loud machine, possibly a skill saw, was running in the room above us at 1:30 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. I had a non smoking room. But the room smoke detector was removed and the room smelled like smoke. It was nauseating and made it very difficult to sleep. The sink in the bathroom trickled water even when both hot and cold were turned all the way on making it difficult to brush my teeth and get water to take medication. I took pictures and video to document the experience.

Didn't like the fact that they tried to run my payment card when I just put it on file to reserve the room and pay later and almost lost the room but it worked out and then there was a couple of issues where we saw a couple of bugs crawling around but other than that it was an okay stay

It was decent but wish it had a refrigerator in the room and a microwave the 2nd floor had a odd smell and i was not a fan of the cold breakfast. But the room had really hot water for a shower and is only 5 minutes from wall mart

The property is run down, the rooms are not nice and do not look or feel clean, its noisy outside and in the halls late at night, people hanging out outside, I did not feel very safe. We also discovered that our window was wide open and didnt even realize it until 3AM. That was very unsafe as I had a child with me that could have sat on the ledge area leaned back and feel out the window. We were on the 2nd floor. The only positive was that the hotel staff was very nice. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again

Loved the cozy little room - perfect for a solo traveler. the bed was fantastic, the water was hot. The room was dead quiet even right next door to housekeeping. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Hotel was very dirty and smelled like weed really bad, the carpet in the room was sticky and the sheets and pillow cases had stains on them. Someone took out the fire detector and left the wires hanging. The only good thing about the hotel is the ladies at the front desk were really nice.

My room was on the end of 2nd floor hallway. The hallway was smelly. Inside the room wasn't smell really bad but the toilet bowl was not bolted onto the floor, almost tipped over when I sat on one side when wiping. Also, the toilet seat sliding left & right. Lots of trashes around the building

The hallway and our room reeked of marijuana. We booked a room for 4 people and when we asked for two additional towels Saturday night, we were told they were out. The breakfast had no juice as the machine was out of order. There was cereal and about a dozen mini muffins to choose from. The hot water dial on our faucet was broken, The vent fan in the bathroom rattled and did not work. The carpet appeared filthy. The lady there on day shift was friendly, though.

Hotel overall is run down and needs updated. Room needed vacuumed. Bathroom ceiling moldy. On the 2nd floor and could hear every bit of walking above us. Wouldn't even sit my bag in that awful stained desk chair. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and this is the worse.

Filthiest place I've ever stayed. Non-smoking, but smells like it's had 6 packs a day for a century. Smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling, stains everywhere, paint chipped more than paint on the wall, carpet torn up and dirty, weird stains on bathroom outlets, lights, and door? Room smelled of mold like maybe the ac was leaking onto the carpet... there was a stick in the window and only one lock worked on window... didn't feel safe at all.

The bed was made and the bathroom was clean. The front desk clerk was very friendly. However, I do not recommend it.

The desk personnel were very nice — taking care of business while being pleasant and friendly to guests checking in or out.
