    The only concerns I experienced were that housekeeping did not visit to refresh or straighten the room during my stay, and unfortunately, the refrigerator in the room was not functioning properly. Aside from those issues, the experience was enjoyable.

    Excellent breakfast with wide selections , highly recommend. My only concern was when we checked in we’re told there would be an additional $12 parking fee for self parking in their parking lot. When I protested & said I didn’t remember having been made aware of that prior to booking, they graciously recinded the charge. Staff friendly & professional& large clean room with large sitting room area which was unexpected. Only complaint is the bathroom was very small.

    The staff was great. They were nice and friendly. Online google search said they were 24 shuttle to the airport and there was not. The shuttle stopped at midnight at started back at 6a.m. Then breakfast started at 7am and online it said 6am.

    We normally really enjoy staying at Hyatt Place but this location was our least favorite experience. Much more worn and needing maintenance (many signs of wear/tear and our bathroom sink faucet fixture was completely detached from the countertop) than the standard we are used to. Also we booked this specifically to have a shuttle from/to the airport but there was no room in the time slot we needed to arrive for our departure in the am. Staff were not apologetic nor accommodating, just kinda shrugged and said we would have to figure something else out.

    Be aware there is a $10 parking charge for self parking. And you have to scan a QR code at the check in desk, go online to fill out a form including tag info, care make & model and credit card info. It was 9pm, I was tired, not expecting to do something like this and it impacted my whole sense of the hotel. Breakfast was okay - oatmeal with a wide choice of toppings was the best. Otherwise mystery meat and eggs unimpressive. For the price and area I hope for better.

    Be prepared for your “superior” room to have a view of an interior stucco hallway wall. Room was fairly nice but is a box with no view. Access to all rooms seemed to require a walk through a parking garage. The elevator was out in our assigned building. We later learned upon our ride back to the airport, another couple complained about the broken elevator and received a free upgrade to an upgraded room with a kitchenette, balcony and pool view. I’m old with 2 large suitcases, so a proactive upgrade would have made me a fan for life (as I don’t tend to complain much). Free hourly shuttle service is nice, but there needs to be more than one shuttle running as they filled up frequently. Need more pool lounge chairs too.

    I originally booked my reservation around 6pm after my flight was canceled. I received my confirmation email with notes to call for shuttle pick up once I made it to baggage claim. I had my bags so to head that way and call. The first time I called made it to the automated system asking what I was calling about to better serve me. I tried to bypass the automated and wanted to speak with a representative to have the shuttle sent for pick up. It placed me on hold. I was on hold for 2 minutes before the phone call was ended, not by my doing. I called back did the same thing and the phone call was ended again while waiting on hold. I attempted to call numerous times and the line appeared to have been disconnected. So I appended to chat the property through the Expedia app. I sent 3 messages in the span of an hour with no responses. I the went to the hotels website and attempted to chat with a live representative however they were unable to send the shuttle service. They provided me with an email address to contact the property directly. I sent and email letting the property know I was at the airport waiting for shuttle pickup and I have tried to contact them multiple times with no success. A day later still no response. After all this happening I decided to not stay at this hotel. They would not response to me or even answer any calls. Very disappointing service and experience.

    Breakfast tasted great. Staff was accommodating in room switch and validating parking. WiFI was great. well-lit parking lot "Self Parking" is misleading as parking is not free, first room was nonsmoking and smelled strongly of smoke (room 616); second room (315) had multiple stains on sofa and weird congealed splatters on the headboard, elevator flooring was chipped, dirty, and elevator rickety, tables not wiped off at breakfast, shower had mold in corners and bathroom ceiling was sagging from water damage in multiple spots.

    We were stranded at the airport for an hour waiting for a shuttle to pick us up. During that time, a shuttle from another hotel in the same area made multiple trips. Even though we spoke to the hotel staff over the phone several times, they were not courteous enough to update us on the situation.

    I liked that there was a shuttle bus provided by the hotel. The room we had was very nice. We had to leave for the airport very early and caught the first shuttle back to the airport so we did not get to eat breakfast at the hotel. The only thing I didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel. We missed our flight leaving Charlotte due to our incoming flight being delayed thus missing our connection.

    The window did not fully close in room 323. It is the middle of winter! I had the heating pumping all night at 85 degrees. Very uncomfortable sleep. Also, mold in the bathroom. Also, no bar (shown in the pictures). Very misleading. Staff were nice, but I will not stay there again. Wouldn’t recommend.

I allowed another customer to handle their business and I again scanned my card and it was acknowledged. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was very attentive.     The young ladies on front desk staff during my stay were attentive and very helpful during my stay. My family was very grateful for the time and attention given to us during our stay this weekend for my daughter’s graduation. They helped us set us the speaker and television equipment. They provided us with anything we needed for our celebration in the meeting room. They also were helpful and attentive to my 86 year old mom who suffers with dementia.

I spoke to the front desk regarding I was on 2 stand-by flights out of CLT the next day & perhaps would need a 2nd night's stay. I was offered the same room as to just call throughout the day and keep them informed. The free stuttle could not be more convenient.

    When I arrived at the airport I was messaged to calm them to get the shuttle for pickup but no one at the hotel answered and I had to contact central reservations. The room was really dirty, there were stains on the couch and the bed sheets were not properly clean. Breakfast was the only positive with a good selection.

    I like that the room included a fridge and microwave. Also like that the room had a mini kitchen somewhat and enough full body mirrors. Breakfast was okay not horrible. My dislikes were the Big Black cockroaches in front of the property which made me not even want to check in Customer service not friendly and inviting at all. Only one working elevator. Bedding very uncomfortable pillows were horrible. Shower way too small as well as the bathroom. My husband and my self were not happy with this Hyatt location. Needs much improvement. We’ve been to other Hyatt locations and never have we experienced this level of uncomfortably. We will never visit this particular location again, respectfully.

    The pictures are false advertisement! The cabinet in the room was falling apart. The furniture and carpet were filthy. The bathroom was disgusting. The room was dewy and smelly. Oh and I can’t forget the HUGE ROACH that crawled from under the sofa! I’ll NEVER stay there again! EVER!

    Everything was great considering I booked a last-minute stay due to a missed connection at the airport. My only complaint is I requested a 10 AM shuttle to the airport and was told he will be five or 10 minutes late. He showed up at 10:15 and as I went to get into the van, he proceeded to sit down and we did not leave until 1035! I was cutting it very very close from my flight

    I was stuck and had a flight cancel forced to stay overnight. No one would answer the phone at the desk after calling for the shuttle from airport per hotel direction after booking the room and that number just gave you a busy tone. So forced to pay for cab. Then this morning trying to get the shuttle back they had me wait till 6:30 and my flight left at 7 so again another taxi ride. Spent 75 dollars for two taxi rides and just a massive inconvenience on top of already being frustrated with the airlines.

    Shuttle driver wasn’t real friendly. Check-in was fast and easy. VERY noisy outside after midnight. A group of over 50 bikers pulled in with their music blaring and revving their engines super loud with no respect for anybody staying in the hotel. Hotel staff should’ve asked for courtesy! Same issue in the morning! Definitely had some patrons who smelled like weed and could be smelled throughout the hotel

    I decided on this hotel because it had a pool and seemed very clean. It was very clean, but the pool had been filled in with concrete. I was not the only customer who complained about this. The staff said that they had tried to have them change it on the website, but was told they couldn’t. It is not a good practice to bate customers this way. The staff was amazing and very friendly and professional. The property needed a swimming pool if they advertised it. Plus, paying $30+ for parking for 3 days was not nice either. That was not said on the website either. The parking was very packed and when you have to park on the back side of the building, you should be able to use your room key to enter in the door, but you have to walk all the way around the building to the main entrance to enter.     The front desk staff was great. Housekeeping not so much. I extended my stay until July19th, which was a whole other issue and was locked out of my room. Did not see anywhere on Expedia’s site to extend. But cleared up the issue with the front desk. But housekeeping never entered my room to bring fresh towels or toilet paper or empty the garbage my entire stay. I had to go in the hallway to find someone and get the things needed. Very disappointed.

    I booked a room after my flight got cancelled due to lightning and flash floods. Not more than 5 minutes after booking everyone in the airport got a phone and speaker alert for a flash flood mandatory ground stay alert on their phones. I immediately tried to cancel my room and refund my money since at this point the rental car places were not allowed to give cars…shuttle busses stopped running and everyone was stranded at midnight in the airport and the manager on duty REFUSED to cancel my room I had booked not even 10 minutes earlier and refund my money. They would rather have me risk my life during a ground stay and after all in that area of NC got an alert stating “fatalities were possible if you left inside” - had ZERO empathy or even cared for me and other people in my same situation. I would never patronize or recommend this location again due to this!! When you put money over life there is an issue! I hope their corporate headquarters see this review because I will not stay silent

    Pros: my room was good for the most part minus the tissue box that looked a bit used up. It was also quiet and I like the fact that breakfast was included, even though it wasn't all that tasty. The muffins and the sausage was probably the best thing. The maintenance and housekeeping staff did not speak fluent English, but yet they still tried to be very helpful. I encourage someone to have a translation app just to make things easier for you. Overall, I would say I had an above average experience. If someone is looking for decent prices and maybe a quick stay, then you would probably be OK stay here. If you're looking to do a full week or more, I would recommend probably going to a higher star hotel, just for a better experience. For the price they charge for a candy bar and water, you can go over to the restaurants in the plaza next to the hotel or order from the double tree by Hilton next door for cheaper deals on food, drinks, and snacks!

    Advertises a free shuttle, but their one and only shuttle was being repaired. No compensation was offered considering the trip to and from the airport cost $40.00. The hotel is need of renovation. Old and dingy looking. I would not recommend this hotel.

    We were very disappointed in our room. The curtains were torn and more alarming was that we found a bed bug crawling on the top of one of the beds. Where there is one…there will be more! When I I moved the pillow on the bed we slept in the next morning a spider ran across!

    The hotel is on the older side. I don’t like when the sinks are outside the bathroom. The window shades were ripped with holes. They charge $10 a day for parking, but there’s no security. I saw two vehicles broken into. Glass literally sitting on the ground. Parking was terrible. I will not ever stay here again!
