My favorite aspect of the Home 2 Suites is the full weight room, exercise area. It has dumbells up to 80 pounds, a true rarity for a hotel. There is a nice laundry area to wash your clothes while you exercise. Thr breakfast, mske your own sandwich bar is excellent. Great staff.

We stayed in room 112 handicap accessible room. We walked into the room and instantly smelled dog smell. There was 1 million light switches, I was not in a wheelchair, but I would’ve felt really badly for someone who wasn’t a wheelchair having to turn on and off all the light switches. The kitchen sink was extremely loose like it was gonna flip right off. The shower leaked… sprayed Water all over the place and there wasn’t an actual holster to hold the wand. There was random sod holes behind the kitchenette. Looked terrible. I love Home2Suites but this was the worst of the worst. The staff was very pleasant. That was not the problem. This facility needs a makeover.

Amazing and comfortable place to stay. Stayed with my family there twice. Once in my way to Florida and once back to Canada. Cleanliness to customer service I'd amazing. Such a great location.

The staff was excellent; the hotel and our room was very clean although the carpet in the halls was very stained so in need of replacement. The breakfast was okay but the egg patties were not at all appealing. Coffee was good. Great place to bring a dog as they have a very large yard (unless yours will chase geese!) Plan to stay there again next time we visit Charlotte.

I do understand they allow pets. Room(s) had extremely stained carpet, (1) room had BAD PET ODORS, Light switch by bed had gross residue. Breakfast was mediocre. Staff was nice, and helpful. However I had to keep going back to front desk on checkin because they hadn't activated the key card on first room, and the room they switched me to! Elevator that night had what looked like pet urine on floor in the corner!

Absolutely horrible experience when we arrived they had changed our booking from a 2 queen to a king room with no notice. When hotels.com called them they were told I would get a partial refund for this inconvenience. It's been almost a month and no sort of refund of any kind was issued. I've been trying to reach the manager VJ Chauhan for weeks leaving messages with Melvin and Bridgette at the front desk with no sort of response. My guest had no where to sleep other than the bed with me. This is unacceptable and not at all what was promised to me at check in. The communication and response from this manager is horrible. Sadly they have lost a big booking for October as my daughter is getting married and this was going to be the host hotel. After this horrible experience and lies that were told to me. We will not be using this property. Guest BEWARE the hotel could change your booking as well and take no accountability or try to correct their mistake.

Beds were comfortable and hotel was quiet for a Saturday night. Pool water was warm and there were towels readily available.

The hotel overall is good, but this is the second time I've experienced check-in issues. They claimed my previously reserved room was sold out. Last time, they said I hadn't paid for the room I booked online, even though I received a confirmation email with a booking number. Additionally, some kids are stuck in the lift. The quality and quantity of breakfast are also declining.

The room was nice and clean and the hotel was as well. We had a huge problem with the guests next door. It was a bunch of children under age (no adult) staying and up all night. We kept trying to call the lobby for them to take care of it but no one was answering the phone. We called multiple times throughout the night and no one answered. I eventually had to go next door and yell at the teenagers at around midnight. They stopped for a bit and continued. Even at 3 am. Someone should have answered the phone so this could have been taken care of.

The beds are so hard! And the pool was not open. It’s not fair to have to pay full price and not be able to use the amenities.

Our first room had a problem with the AC. The staff switched us but same problem. 3rd time was the charm. Only other issue was noise. You could hear everything through the walls and even more so, people above sounded like they were jumping or running.

The room itseld was spacious but dated. Bed was very uncomfortable, needs replaced. The pool is dirty looking, needs a good scrub down. The stay was overall ok, location is good. Whoever was in the room above us was noisy all night long with stomping and slamming doors. For the price, wpuld stay elsewhere next time we visit the Charlotte area.

The room was good but felt like the ac unit didn't work properly. Also the shower water was lukewarm at best. The breakfast was the worst part. No organization and had people standing around waiting for food to come out.

Staff was absolutely wonderful. I arrived early and had to work. Sidney went above and beyond and hit my a room ahead of check in time. So nice. I’m not done! A stink bug flew into my room. Phobia! Called reception and Vince heard the panic in my voice and came up to kill the damn thing. Again above and beyond. Just lovely. The place was super clean and comfortable. Liked the area too. There was a Target, a bunch of restaurants like Olive Garden, ChilIies, etc. I would definitely stay here again. And recommend it

We love staying at Hilton Hotels. The staff are always so friendly and the hotels are always so clean. The rooms are always so comfortable and clean. We were in Charlotte for the race and there was always sufficient parking when we came in every evening. A great place to lay your head after a long day at the race track. I would give these hotels an A+ every time.

My wife is very picky. Not only did she enjoy our accommodations. She raved, about how fresh smelling your lobby was. Don't ask!

Home 2 never disappoint me at all. This is the only hotel I'll go to. Only thing is the bed needs to be replaced it was kinda hard that's it. Other than that everything was great.

The lady at the front desk was top tier. I think her name was Nina. She was very professional, engaging & personable. She made me feel welcime & wanted to make sure I had a good experience.

Hallway carpets seriously need a steam cleaning-they’re very stained and several of the hallway lights need replacing. Our door lock didn’t line up quite right and required a lot of strength to get it to lock. The biggest issue was it was hands down the worst breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel ever. Which is REALLY difficult with kids. Everything was both overcooked and cold. Whatever meat was served was questionable-seemed like plant based?. The waffle iron needs replacing-burned the top and bottom but left the middle raw and gooey, tried several times. My kids said the cereal was stale. Finally on our last day we gave up in favor of breakfast from Dunkin across the street.

Upon checking on the lobby air conditioner was not working and the entire lobby area was very hot. I asked attendant was the rooms air working . They told me yes. I continued my check in and got into my room and I had a 2 br queen suite , now the living room area was rather warm but in the bedroom area it was very cool as normal. Well I spoke to front and one clerk told me they did not have any rooms (suites ) available and were booked . The next clerk when I went back down to front desk later after being agitated she told me that she could send maintenance up who was just coming on duty. Time went by then hour or so later o rechecked with her because no one had came to room and she told me the maintenance man who was their to check on AC was not allowed to work or check on the AC in rooms . So she suggested she could bring me a fan or a portable AC ..... as I checked out I still did not get that fan or AC unit. This was totally unacceptable to place someone in . Never experienced this before but it was extremely miserable for my family and I

My room was very spacious and I love the modern design! The only issue that I had was the shower....it was missing one if the glass sliding doors and I had to soak up water in the bathrooms and kitchen....wasn't a huge deal but just a little disturbing...everything else was absolutely perfect! I would definitely book a room with them again in the future!

The mattress is wore out. Very uncomfortable. Room had a small smell... like it was from floors being wet at some point.

The room i was in only had one glass door it was suppose to have two and water went everywhere. I ended up changing rooms.

Checked in around 10 pm, got to our room and the tv does not work. Rang the front desk, no answer. Went down to front desk, 3 guests waiting for someone to help them, no one came. Will address in the morning.

The room was clean, spacious and modern. The staff was helpful and friendly. The reason for a 4 star rating is that the bed was too firm for my taste with pillows that sunk in completely.

I love the big room we had. My family really enjoyed it. We came and stayed because my 16 yr old had to see a heart dr. We are planning pn staying here when he had. To have heart surgery.

The first night was great, bed was comfortable..i call the front desk to ask for some non feather pillows, and the guy who answered said he didn't know how to tell feathered from non featured. They need more waffle makers... waited over 30 minutes ..2nd night was bad...the TV wouldn't work, its college basketball playoffs, so thus was upsetting. They offered to move us to a new room since they couldn't fix tv, but that was too much hassle repacking and unpacking again. Then the people above our room stomped or danced to music until like 1-2am.

Overall, we had s great experience. However, checkin started out with the hotel losing our reservation. That got resolved. We then had a room with broken air conditioning and they moved us to another room the next day. The staff worked hard to resolve the issues and are very friendly. Hotel was very clez a d breakfast was very good.

We haven't stayed in a H2S in several years and we were flad to donso on oue trip. Basically everything was very good. We love love their rooms as they have a couch to relax on ans the small kitchen is nice even tho we didnt use it this time. My only complaint was the bfast was strange and many selections were empty even though it was not crowded.

The property was very clean. We enjoyed our stay. The only con is the TINY bathroom. The toilet, door, shower, and sink were so close that you could utilize all at one time. Not functional at all. Otherwise a good stay.

Friendly and courtesy staff, very helpful, and nice place to stay. Some guess were loud during the night but it is expected but overall it was a nice stay because of the staff members at the front desk.

The staff is what gave the hotel the stars. The room we stayed in - the faucets were loose, wallpaper was peeling, room smelled, toilet seat cover was loose, microwave was missing, shade to the window was filthy and hard to pull down at night. I could not wait to get out of there. The only thing good was the amazing staff. They were the best.

The breakfast was so bad. The first two days they provide bagels without cream cheese. No fresh eggs, the frozen eggs have ham. Not everyone eats ham. There are no bakery items like muffins. Bread is not fresh. I never had breakfast like that before.

Very relaxing comfortable stay

Last couple years we stay in H2S hotel's whenever possible. For the price they are much cleaner and stuff is much nicer than any other road hotels.

Very well appointed kitchenette (large fridge, dishwasher) and very roomy suite. Friendly staff, comfortable lodgings and peaceful patio with a cozy fire pit.

This hotel has fleas. There were many dogs there, and when we got home after a four-day stay, we discovered a flea infestation. The fleas could only have come from our room.

It is very convenient to shopping an food, but the room we had was not clean an in disrepair. Refrigerator wobbled- badly. The people above us were very loud we waited then complained but same issue thenext night. The pool was dirty an no towels after us just asking if there were towels

Stay was fine but I couldn’t even get local channels at times to look at news or watch someone basic as the NBA Finals. Wold be good if you could download any streaming service and just tubi or Netflix

Everything was great except for stains around the TV, and the light fixture above the shower was hanging out of the ceiling which was a little scary because of wires showing. Overall good decent place to stay.

The fullnsize refrigerator in the room

The front desk clerk (Monica) was fantastic and did everything in her power to find us another room - which she did! Unfortunately I think it meant that another guest lost their room for the night. Our room was spacious and had basic amenities. The full kitchen was a big plus, though the washroom is very small. I did find the room hadn’t been cleaned very well and things like the remote, light switches, and door handles were visibly dirty (or sticky, ew). There was also a TON of noise overnight from other guests running through the halls and slamming doors for hours on end. After calling the front desk they were very apologetic and assured me they would send someone up (which is sounds like they did). Unfortunately this hotel being conveniently located near the highway means there’s a lot of road noise as well, especially if your room is facing that side. Overall we likely won’t stay here again unless we have no other option. Our usual stop in the area is the Drury across the highway and it is overall better.

My stay was excellent. From the handsome guy that checked us in, to the convenience of location to what we were there for. Very clean hotel would definitely stay again.

We arrived and the representative was sleeping because it took him over 13 minutes to check us in. When he came to the desk, he had to check our room…he knew the TV was not working. Food was left in the refrigerator as well as the bed not being made up. I’ve been in your establishment for yrs and this is theee most horrible experience with no resolution.

I didnt like that i had to change into different rooms cause there was something wrong with the rooms. And the bedding is also dirty

Took staff 3 nights to come bring clean bedding

I told the staff when I arrived that my sheets had a stain. I waited and no one came to change them. I went down to ask and was told they forgot I was also given sheets that looked like they had been used for years. I had to change them myself and I was not offered any compensation for the inconvenience. I was very disappointed.

Everything was good. Had an issue with the tv and they fixed it to work correctly. The safety latch locked me out of the room and they were able to get me back in. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay.

The property is not well maintained. The carpet is filthy and stained. My room wreaked with dog urine. The staff was understanding of my concerns and helped resolve the issue.

When we got to the hotel the front staff (Fred) greeted us and was great. He asked a few question and got to know us. We seen him everyday we stayed and talked about what we did that day. He was fantastic.

We had a TV issue and they came right away and corrected the problem and to my surprise even adjust the bill. Excellent customer service

Staff was awful. We weren’t able to check in until 2 hours after check in due to not having a room available, I spoke with the GM who staff lied to and stated we requested a specific room, not other room was ever offered. Staff was ridiculing guests at breakfast, would not recommend. Also received a random charge on a card used at booking for not used to pay with at the hotel that was never returned. Its also in a less than desirable area where everything closes at 10 pm

My Room was left messy. There was hair left in the shower. The pull out couch had used sheets. On top of that I’m be double charged on credit card.

Breakfast was a total mess. Very little to eat at 0940. Area a mess. Tables a mess. No hot coffee avail (2 times). Hot water not hot. Ended up going to Dunkin.

Didn’t look like there was enough breakfast for the weekend. but overall the breakfast was also great

We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to our room due to the elevator was down . No one offered a discount or nothing .

It was the staff that really made this property so awesome. The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly friendly, upbeat and professional. When we noticed the hairdryer was missing, he brought one right up to us. When the coffee creamer ran out, he ran right over to assist. Even after working the late shift then coming right back in again for the morning shift, he wore a big smile and helped guests without complaint. Two other staff members we came in contact with were equally as positive and helpful. The room was clean and the property seemed updated and safe. Would definitely recommend.
