    The front desk guy was really nice and helpful! The hotel was really torn up through. I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and maintenance on the property. The door frames not falling off, the elevators working and In good repair.

    I’m still waiting on my deposit refund… when I called she said oh it’s already been sent, or should have.. but then when I broke down the transaction that is already in my bank account she said oh well just give it another day or so… that was annoying.. anywhere else I’ve stayed it’s almost immediate after checkout.

    Easy parking, easy to find. perfectly good room. I like the table on wheels, shower had good pressure and was hot. although TV didn't work and a couple of plugs didn't work. I could have mentioned it but wasn't in my room much to bother. Also - pool had no heating either. I didn't use this but did see the sign. I probably would have used it if it was heated.

    Hotel staff was professional and helpful they assisted us with a early check in when arriving earlier than expected. Breakfast could have been a little better but overall the staff was helpful when needed the room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable as well.

    The silver elevator doors are not clean. The complimentary coffee stays cold. But since we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel it was okay. The staff is very polite and helpful. Complimentary breakfast is mediocre.

    Although the room and property as a whole was good we will never stay at this location again. There weee police and ambulances surrounding a nearby Circle K across the street from the Chilis we chose to go to for dinner. There had been a stabbing and robbery and come to find out from some locals this is a common occurrence in this area. Did not feel safe and won’t stay there n this area again

    The room was very nice. However, the amenities were not up to par. The indoor swimming pool was closed and the fire pit was also closed. Why have these amenities advertised if they aren't going to be in working compacity? That was definitely a disappointment. My son and I were having a little staycstion after attending the spectrum center and I chose this hotel for the amenities. I could have booked another hotel if I would have known thay weren't in service. Also 75 dollar incedential fee is absurd. Hopefully that pending transaction on my card will be void as the Lady Beverley at the front desk said I would not be charged, yet here it shows a charge on my card. Makes no sense. Definitely going to back to Marriot bonvoy hotels this hotel by hilton is not worth it

    It was a Birthday vacation from Thursday to Monday morning and the hotel was a great idea! The overall rating would be a 4, only because the first night we were told that they had no extra blankets or quilt for our bed, which I stay cold constantly. Then on day 3 the microwave didn't heat up any of our leftovers or food in general and when speaking with someone, they said they would send someone to take a look, but no one every came. The room was pretty decent, besides the cigarette burn on the sofa (NO Smoking....hmmm). The staff were great and always greeted us each day with a smile.

    We have stayed here numerous times. This is a good pet friendly hotel. The rooms are large and well laid out. The beds are comfortable. There is good property to walk my dog. I noticed the hotel room we were in this time, which was on the second floor ( we usually get something on the third floor) was a bit “tired. The sheets were not the quality we normally get and were stained. The dishwasher had a gross smell. The water pressure could have been better. So the quality for the price was not quite there.

    Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. The place is old and outdated. They were shampooing carpets ave the floors were damp and wet. There were roaches. There was a gas smell in my room, but it was not taken seriously by staff once reported. I was moved to another room, but when I followed up the lady at the desk was rude and dismissive. She said we don’t have gas and that it has not been checked into yet hours after my report. Again the worst place I’ve EVER stayed at.

    My cousin and I took our teenage daughters to charlotte to see usher in concert. Our hotel room was exactly as advertised. Very clean, very spacious. The beds were AMAZINGGGG and so so comfy. Everywhere else in the hotel we saw was clean and in order. The staff were extremely nice every time we interacted. We were about 5 miles away from downtown so we just ubered to the concert and back. Definitely recommend and would book again

    There were dirty towels left in our room when we checked in. It was really gross. The bed sheet had hair so in it. The showers had hair all on the shampoo and conditioner bottles. On top of that, the containers were empty.

    There was no trash can in the bathroom which is the most important place to have a trashcan. The USB outlet near my bed was broken and completely unusable.     - The mobile check in did not work even though the app clearly showed I was checked in. Thankfully we arrived earlier than expected and staff was still onsite to check us in. - The digital key did not work but, again, thankfully the hotel staff was able to give us hard keys. - The room door appears to be warped as you literally need to shoulder your way into the door. I wasn’t able to open it and my husband had to. - We reserved the room for 4 people but there were only enough coffee and towels for 2-3ppl. - Breakfast on the weekends, per the app, is open until 9:30am. We went downstairs at 9:10am and breakfast was already closed. According to staff it closes at 9am everyday, despite what the app clearly says. - There was NO hot water at 9:15am. We waited thinking perhaps we needed to let the water warm up. After running the shower for 10-15min, the water was still ice cold. - I tried to call the front desk to ask about the water but the in room phone didn’t work. - We checked the water again around 10:30a and it was still ice cold. Again, the staff was amazing and very apologetic for the issues. But given the room rate charged for one night I honestly could have and should have stayed at any of the properties next

    I came at 2:45pm to check in and was advise i couldn’t check in until 330-4 because the other guest had LATE checkouts. I came back at 4pm to find out i couldn’t even get the room I wanted because the guest there hadn’t left so she gave me another room at same price however, of course I wanted the room I paid for which had an accessible tub. I stayed the night and I went down the next morning to ask for a late check out the lady said they weren’t doing late check outs today. Talk about upset. It was already inconvenient that I came before checkout time which was 3pm and was told to come back but then not getting the room I wanted all the way down to not being accommodated for a late check out. Mind you the room was booked in January and was not available in February after confirming with staff the week before the date I came.

    Bathroom toilet paper holders were broken.     The staff was absolutely the best, friendly, helpful, very clean, and funny including the GM. Who took time out of her day off to check on us. My ONLY wish is the outside sitting (pergola) area near the glass was cover for raining days. This was our second stay and we will be back again. Once again GREAT STAFF and the rooms were great also.

    I got a room that stank wasn't clean old appliances not renovated rust in refrigerator and bathroom dirty tv smelly sheets and wasn't happy with the look compared to pics online and is was not a 4 star hotel it was a 2 stat hotel . I spoke with manager she was nice to accommodate me and refund me one day stay shout out to the manager for her wonderful service for that. They do need a better maid service

    When we arrived there were no rooms available, the front desk clerk was very kind but it took a long time to try and find a room. She did a nice job finding us a room, it is not her fault, but it is unsatisfactory that we were waiting for a long time with no rooms available and then placed in a smoking. Room. The room we had was on a smoking floor and the entire floor and room smelled of cigarettes . My child has asthma which is why I reserved a non smoking room. We were going to have some dinner but the plates were in the dishwasher I was unsure if anything was clean.

    First night AC was barely working. Eventually kicked on at night. Original associate that checked us in was amazing, so welcoming and kind! Indoor pool is closed despite being on the listing with no warning it would be closed. There were brown things floating when I bathed my son. The pole the shower curtain hangs on was curved so the bathroom floor got soaked with every shower. Tv is cable only and no guide or anything of the sort so you can’t easily find anything to watch. Came down to breakfast around 840 to avoid big crowds and all was basically wiped out. No mugs, no coffee, no waffles, etc. We assumed they stopped making anything due to being health inspected. Breakfast is supposed to be until 9. I understand it was close but multiple people asked for more coffee and waffles. When we checked out, there wasn’t anybody at the counter. After a couple minutes she came out and helped the gentleman ahead of me and then walked off again. She eventually came back and looked as if she was going to walk away again before helping me to check out. Overall, disappointing.

    Hotel does not have the amenities advertised. No oven in room..can not cook only microwave. Pool, gym, etc closed. Elevators broken. Light breakfast was fine for me but may not be for others. Also, female desk clerk told me that they do not honor payments from 3rd party vendors like hotel.com and I need to pay again for the room. I told her NO! Then she charged me $40 “incidental” fee to be returned a checkout. This hotel has been trying to double charge my card during the night. Fortunately, I turned my card off as soon as checked in cause I had a bad feel about her.

    Property was dirty. TV wasn’t working. Rug dirty with stains. Roach in bathroom. I was on hold over 45 min with front desk staff for tv maintenance… no response. Terrible service !

    My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was not a pleasant experience. We were placed in a room right next to the stairs and an exit. The doors that were used for the exit and stairs were not soft close doors, they slammed. People were not slamming the doors, for some reason the doors slammed close on their own. This made sleeping unpleasant. Our coffee maker was missing some parts so we couldn't use it. The coffee in the lobby did not taste good and the complimentary breakfast was overcooked. The decor in our room was not terrible but it was not cohesive. The hot water in our shower never was actually hot...luke warm at best. The door to our room needs to be fixed. We had to use great force to open and close it...I believe layers of paint on the door has rendered it too tight for the frame now. All of this was made worse by the fact that we had friends stay at a nearby hotel that was comparable in price but superior in quality. We regretfully did not inform the hotel of our grievances at the time of our stay. We did not give them an opportunity to make it right, and we should have. We just hope they see this and make some minor improvements. It will then be the hotel worth it's nightly price. We feel we over payed for the experience.

    Brand new property very nice but what was more important for me was their customer service. I just so happened to leave my headphones in the room and I called to see if they found them and they did. The receptionist at the desk named GWEN was super nice and very helpful and went over and beyond for me. She actually offered to take the headphones to the post office for me after her shift and paid for the shipping and everything so I could get my headphones back. I never received customer service like that before and I really appreciate her for that. She did something she didn't have to do for her customer and she should be praised for that. Thank you GWEN I really appreciate what you did for me. Next time I'm staying in North Carolina I will definitely be staying here

    They hadn’t refilled any of the paper towels or toilet paper so we barely had any from what the previous guest left over. The area by the door is tile and when we walked in you could clearly see all of the dirt and stains from the previous person. The microwave and sink handles had dried/ smeared food residue on them. And worst of all, the bugs in the room gradually got worse over our stay. I noticed one bug in the shower with me on my first night. I shrugged it off since it’d rained pretty badly that day despite us being on the highest floor. I saw another one the next day. The morning of my checkout day, I went to the bathroom and bugs were showing up left and right! I was killing bugs coming from on the counter, the sink, the shower, floor, and a roach came from behind the trashcan and made it’s way into the main room. Then I was seeing bugs on the kitchen sink too! I packed my things quickly and got out of there! The hotel is doing renovating so maybe that’s what caused all the bugs, but that doesn’t take away from other things that should’ve been cleaned. There was also a point where 1 of the 2 elevators was being worked on so only 1 was functional. The functional elevator’s lights were turned off or not working without warning and we used had to use a pitch black elevator.
