Great hotel and a great location. The property was super clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and very well maintained. My only suggestion would be to improve the complimentary breakfast. It was okay, but not quite at the same level as the rest of the hotel experience.

Great location, secure parking, very clean rooms and the free breakfast was a bonus. This is in a great, happening, walkable location to all South End and downtown Charlotte has to offer. Very entertaining area & will definitely stay there again!

The hotel is about a 25 minute walk to Bank of America Stadium, very safe area with several places to stop along the way to eat. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I didn’t think the staff was very friendly when you walked up both of them were standing behind the desk and were the most friendly people in the world. It was nice to have breakfast every morning. The coffee was great.Good selection of breakfast items . Staff was nice. The room was nice and clean. However, I did leave a note requesting extra towels and they didn’t leave extras so I went to the desk . The only complaint I have is that they should provide 2 towels per person per room everyday. Other than that the stay was excellent!

Hotel good value for the money. Only issue was with parking which is at a minimum and very few spaces for anything but a compact car. If you leave and come back later in the afternoon you’re lucky to get a spot. Coffee was great. Housekeeping great. Staff helpful.

The food at the motel was simple but surprisingly satisfying, with warm, home-style flavors that felt comforting after a long day on the road. Breakfast was especially enjoyable, featuring freshly brewed coffee and hearty options that made the stay feel a little more welcoming Honestly, there wasn’t anything that could have been better at the motel. Everything met my expectations, and I was completely satisfied with the stay. I wouldn’t change a thing about the experience

Great room. Nice location. We were very impressed with Charlotte. What a beautiful city. Mixed information on paid parking. Web page had set rate per day, but even though we arrived after 8 pm, we were told we could not use the hotel parking lot until the following late afternoon, so that we could do a leisurely bike ride from our hotel. We were willing to pay for another day, but apparently the spots are only available for guests through to their check out time. I wish that had been clearer on the description of the parking. Street parking in that area is limited to max of 2 hours (several blocks out 4 hour limit), before you need to move your vehicle to another zone. Fortunately we found parking by the bike trail we used so that we still had a great day. But might need to stay farther out of the downtown core if we do another quick visit and want the full day to explore without worrying about where to park the car.

This a well placed hotel in Charlotte, NC. My son lives just up the hill from the hotel so very convenient for me. But also in an area full of shopping and restaurants.

This hotel was a wonderful choice for us because my daughter lives in "South End" and this is the only hotel in South End. In the past, I always stayed uptown (downtown), but it took 20 - 30 minutes for my daughter to get to our hotel, because of the traffic. In South End, we were able to walk to her apartment and she easily drove to us in 5 minutes. Check-in lady was very nice and helpful, cleaning crew always so helpful, and we felt very safe walking too and from the hotel. (Though we were careful not to be out too late.) Breakfast was WONDERFUL. Restaurants and unique shopping all around us. Definitely the right choice for us!

Location Breakfast was not great. OJ was a brownish color and the eggs looked like they were very processed. I do not stay for the breakfast, I like the location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms.

I appreciate that the hotel is largely inaccessible to non guest. Friendly staff. Ran into a issue with my train on the way there but the staff was helpful and kind, made sure I place to rest my head.

They said they didn’t have the room ready which is completely understandable. We arrived around 2:45pm, we were told they wouldn’t have the room ready by guaranteed time of 3pm. They said the latest would be 3:30pm. We received a text until 3:52pm to state the room was now ready. If stated on website that check-in is at 3pm, room should be given out at 3pm. Staff didn’t apologize, did not say why it wasn’t ready. As we were waiting on counter, other guests were checking in and getting their rooms. I found it not acceptable not to be honored advertised check-in time.

The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The staff are so friendly & courteous. The hotel manager even checked on us at breakfast. We appreciate how secure the entire property is

This is a nice, quiet, clean place to stay. Every part of this stay was great except for parking. I have never stayed anywhere that made you pay extra for parking. Bigger problem is that after I paid the $15 for parking pass through an app on phone. I dont think he hotel would know if people getting these passes are even stating at the hotel or not. So I return to the hotel at the end of the evening to find theres no parking spots even though i paid for one. The hotels solution was to go to a parking garage up the street and have to pay that garage $25 to park and walk back to the hotel. Could be easily solved if the hotel simply handed out hang tag parking passes for residents. There is apparently a refund process but couldnt use it bacause i needed info from my vehicle which was parked in another garage up the street and wasnt walking back to it in the rain. Will try again tomorrow. Very frustrating.

Overall, I was quite pleased with this property. Very easy check-in, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very close to restaurants and shops. This area used to be a poorer area of Charlotte, but very developed and lots of great restaurants, apartments, etc. Still elements exist to where you want to be alert at night, but overall, I felt safe. One complaint: TV had poor reception...perhaps bc of rainstorms, but Fox New Channel was blacked out (seemed like censorship). Thats a huge disappointment if this is the case.

Everything was perfect, including the location. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I slept like a baby which is not usually the case. The only thing I did not like which was no big deal at all, was that the room was dark even with the curtains open. I think the lighting needs to be a little brighter. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel, and I will stay there again.

Nicole at the front desk was wonderful, as well as a couple others ( don't know names ) The thing I have never liked at this hotel, over the 3 years I've stayed here, is that they don't clean your room at all, it doesn't seem, unless you ask them to. I don't think it should be this way. I at least like to have fresh towels everyday and to have my bathroom cleaned and trash dumped.

Our vehicle was stolen from their gated parking lot. The front desk staff and manager were not very helpful or compassionate. Didn’t offer to assist us in any way. We wont stay there again.

Everything was great except the automatic charge for parking and that there are not enough parking places. We returned after a concert and there was only one parking space available. Had we been any later there would not have been any and we were charged already.

Centrally located in a very walkable area of Charlotte and a short drive to downtown. The light rail is right there too for public transport. Very clean. There is paid, secured parking but we parked right on the street in front. If you are leaving anything in the car, I'd park in paid parking. It is a city. The staff was very nice. Rooms spotless. Highly recommend for a few nights in Charlotte!

We had a one night! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and we had excellent amenities. The workers were very helpful, friendly, and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would stay here again!

I had to change rooms because I am a short person and the room with my bed was way too high. I slept on the couch the first night. However in the morning Nicola who was at the desk was very helpful in setting me up in a different room with a lower bed. The hotel was clean and rooms were of a good size. High marks for service for Nicola.
