The hotel was awesome. Came down for the NASCAR race and the hotel was about 15 minutes from the track. Room was big, the beds were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean although looked like a repair was done but not completely finished painting and patched on one of the walls. Quiet hotel seemed to have most of the updated amenities.

We arrived and hotel was perfect. Smelt clean as soon as we entered lobby as well as the elevators and room. We like to be in a clean hotel, and this was perfect. Breakfast was more than expected and was great as well. Also used the exercise room for walking and treadmills were top notch. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling.

I was unexpectedly suprised by the hotel. I was impressed. The breakfast is top tier. The hotel was quiet during the evening hours. I loved the entrance and the decor was beautiful. I would stay again. I did not care for the location.

Very nice place. Seems like they could have sound proofed the rooms a little better. Breakfast was good, nice variety hot and ready. Staff was very helpful and very nice.

Breakfast didn't have as many options as most Holiday Inns I've stayed at. Parking was terrible due to large shipping containers on property. Front desk staff was extremely pleasant but breakfast staff was not inviting. The sink in our was clogged and after a failed attempt to fix we were moved to another room.

Get to breakfast early because breakfast fills up fast after 8 AM in terms of places to sit. Some folks were eating standing up when we were checking out. Open concept interior layout made it noisy with college kids drinking on floors near us.

Highly recommend this Hotel! Even the kids said “this place is NICE!” The staff were super nice and Crystal was so kind! The hotel was very clean, the breakfast has many options to choose from and the pool was fun for the kids.

A very nice quiet place that was clean and had a modern bathroom with a good shower. The coffee is grind and brew and is delicious. The breakfast offered was very adequate and had fresh made breakfast foods, breads and fruit. The parking lot was monitored and felt safe and secure. Good restaurants nearby.

This hotel is 5 stars because it has great rooms, great staff, great breakfast, the overall property is new and outstanding, the 4 floors are in an atrium, lots of stores and restaurants near by, we were totally impressed, the staff is top notch, we will be back.

My truck got broken into in the parking lot fully under the security camera, whats the point ofnthe camera. I had to drive around for 2days out of town with aa busted window because no one mentioned the parking lot wasnt safe for the vehicles, the police even said it happens alot there

Which cause employees to be stranded working extra hours etc . However everyone was going through the same storm etc but you can’t not be nice the one hotel employee stood at the front door with a mop and bucket mean mugging myself and my family cause we came in from the snow however we tried to get a much snow off our boots shoes etc before entering the hotel mind you it was snowing like crazy and no plow had even came through the establishment to clear anything or passage walkway near or around the hotel so that wasn’t very welcoming of her. Front desk clerk didn’t even greet us … then the morning of check out one of the cooks were very mean and unpleasant I went to ask her will she be bringing anymore bacon or was that it for the morning she starts frowning and walked away I said to her wait a minute we are going to try this again it’s no need to be rude . So I said good morning let’s start there first cause good morning goes a long way and she smiled finally acknowledged me finally and said she will be bringing more bacon out and I said thank you again . As I was checking out the supervisor said the cook responded that way cause she don’t speak English she said good morning. But i myself don’t speak Spanish and im nice to everyone no excuse .

It was clean The breakfast was good but the staff wouldn’t keep it out and then she was rude when my daughter asked if they would put another cartridge in the pancake machine. All she done was ask and the lady told her no more pancakes for the day. It was over an hour before the breakfast ended.

I was in town for the bowl game in January 2nd. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the stadium. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If I am ever in Charlotte area I will stay at this IHG location for sure!

The lady at the front desk was welcoming and polite. Check in and check out was fast. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I will stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Charlotte, NC.

We stayed for one night. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and comfortable, there's a swimming pool and a gym, and a hot breakfast is served in the morning. One problem was that the heater's remote control wasn't working, so I adjusted it manually.

This maybe a new normal, but I don’t think I have ever experience an unmanned reception desk. We had to wait for clerk when checking in was very friendly for checking in. But during our two day stay it was unmanned every time we came in and left. During breakfast people were waiting to check out again clerk was in back room unable to see the desk.

No comment on housekeeping since we kept or DND sign up but received extra towels when requested. Did not use hotel transportation. No issues with internet connection. Beds were comfortable. Out soap dispenser was broken. -They need to replace the woman they have doing breakfast and change their hours so they open at 6:AM instead of 7:AM. They literally keep it roped off until 7:AM, and on Saturday, the woman wasn't even ready at 7:AM. But I had to get my kids to their sports tournament. She would not let me grab some stuff to go at 6:55 AM, and then barked at me when I crossed the rope to grab some cinnamon buns to go at precisely 7:AM. When we got back at 12:30 PM, she was there cleaning up and I asked if I could have three little milk containers for the kids because the fridge was still locked at 7:AM, and she said "No. Closed." We went down the next day at 7:15 AM, and it was open but she was still not finished and setting up. Not the kind of person you want running the breakfast operation.

The stay here was good. The place was clean, but there were a few things I saw like the bathroom shower had a few spots of stained caulk probably from mold that needs replacing. The shower head was not great especially for washing long thick hair it would make it harder to rinse out. I did like that they use dispenser pumps for body wash and shampoo and conditioner and hand soap and lotion. The bed and pillows were excellent and breakfast was very good. Many choices to choose from fruit, cereals, hot items and bread and pastries. The coffee is great and grinds beans fresh on the spot! Not a bad place to stay for overnight convenience.

The hotel is a nice hotel for a perfect getaway only problems I experienced was my bathroom had the smell of a sewer line had to clean and spray it constantly! The next issue was the kids, I got no sleep had to call reception at 3:45 in the morning and ask for them to tell the kids to stop rolling over my head in the rolling chair and jumping felt like the ceiling was about to fall in over our head!

The hotel was conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Crystal. She provided great information about the area. The breakfast was good. There was a roach in my room. I was changed to another room. The second room had an issue with the heater (blowing cold air). I ended up covering the vent with a towel and weighted it down with an iron.

Ok. The breakfast options kept running out and took a while to get refreshed. The comforter had not been adequately cleaned.

I made the reservation for a non-smoking room with two queens about a week in advance. When we arrived at the property, the room we were assigned, room 318, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I went back downstairs and asked for a different room. The desk clerk said there were no other rooms and was going to give me a can of lysol spray. While I was trying to contact Hotels.com (which is a lot harder than it used to be, by the way, and I never did succeed) she had a cancellation and was able to move me to a different room with a king bed. Luckily that was ok because I was traveling with my daughter and she didn't mind sleeping in the king bed. The new room was clean and smelled like a clean room. So if I hadn't been able to get my room changed, this would have been a one star review.

Our stay was perfect! We were greeted promptly and professionally when we arrived. Check in was quick. The hotel smells wonderful which is always a plus when entering any establishment. Our room was clean and stocked with all the essentials - I love that they use Dove products. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. I have nothing negative to say - highly recommend!

This was a great stay. I knew from previous reviews that it was highly rated and it did not disappoint. The staff greeted me with friendliness and efficiency. Very clean and comfortable room. Mine was a quick overnight stay so I didn’t have time to appreciate the area. I did enjoy an excellent dinner at the Mexican restaurant directly across the street. I highly recommend!

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. But, the noises from doors slamming all night we didn't get much needed rest after driving for 14 hours. Very unhappy about that. Also, the lady at the check-in desk would not accommodate us as we are AARP members and said she couldn't sign us up for the reward program until after our stay, which I found ridiculous. She told us to go online to make our reservation and then it will give us the option to add the AARP discount, which it did not. When I told her that didn't work, she did not accommodate us what so ever. Because were so tired from traveling all day we didn't want to go looking for another hotel in an area we weren't formulary will location. Not to mention we were hungry. The reason we choose Holiday Inn Express is because we've stayed at them in different areas in the past and found them very enjoyable and clean. We'll stay again but not at the one in Charlotte.

It was very clean and nice, the staff were all so kind, the beds were very comfortable and not noisy or poor quality. Shower was nice and hot with full pressure. Breakfast was great (we only wished they had bacon haha). Conveniently located to lots of businesses. I would definitely stay here again.

Facility was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was full and good as well. Room was a little noisy because I was under the laundry in room 206. Pillows, and felt safe in location.

I always read reviews before choosing my hotel always the bad ones. The room seemed to be very clean, and check in was fine. Well front my third party booker charged 200 more on my credit card. And I had to pay the hotel another $50 for their damage hold. I wish these fees are upfront for everyone to know. Luckily I was fine but others may not be and that’s not okay. Breakfast was stated in a review and not hot breakfast was available since the oven hasn’t been fixed. My overall rating would be between 7-8.

The area this hotel was located in was cebtral to where i needed to be. It had loats of restaurants and shopping close by. The hotel was so clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Everything was Perfect besides the A.C unit . It did not wokr to change the temp so we had to cut it off when it got too cold .
