    Our experience was not nearly as good as the first time we stayed 10 days previous. Towels were dirty. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work so blow drying hair was done with no mirror. The restaurant-which we'd been told opened at 5- was deserted. I finally found someone who told me no one had shown up to work in the restaurant! Room seemed noisier. All in all, extremely sub par. Staff was nice-the one positive.

    We booked with them because we had a layover in Charlotte on our way from Portugal to Belize. The complimentary shuttle ride from the airport and back, the following morning was perfect. The front desk staff was polite and respectful. I had a package from an online purchase delivered there and that worked perfectly. Unfortunately, the following morning the breakfast wasn't ready because the staff hadn't shown up. All in all the stay was mediocre.

    I genuinely enjoyed my stay! It was a very helpful staff. The only let down was the fact that I had requested adjoining rooms and or rooms in close proximity to one another days prior to my visit, yet upon arrival they did not have my request noted or taken into account. If not for Sonya, my needs and noted requirements would not have been met. I thank her for her much appreciated service and kindness. As well as the diligence and manner she went about accommodating us in the best she could. Knowing their lack of vacancy at the time. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

    Over all, great room/hotel. Only disappointment was in the hotel restaurant, they did not accept cash for payment. You must use a credit card, we were not told that up front. Bar stock was limited, menu online different than on the hand held menu. service was a bit slow. Everyone was super friendly, beds comfortable. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

    Later in the evening after returning my rental car, it took 3 phone calls, and an hour and a half for the complimentary van to get me the 6-minute drive from the airport to the hotel. The van driver wouldn't talk to me about it in the van because of the camera. At the hotel, he wanted to dish the dirt on his boss as the reason he wasn't there and was showing me his log. I explained that I didn't want to be involved in office drama. I went into the hotel and asked for the manager on duty. The lady behind the desk said it was her.     We were checking in at 11pm after flying all day. There was a single costumer in front of, it took 20 minutes to check that person in. When we were finally checking in they wanted me to pay for the one bedroom king I had prepaid for. When that issue was resolved they gave us a room with 2 queens. I called down to desk informing them I had paid for a king bed. I was told there was none available. If you think this is costumer service I don’t.

    The property and the room was nice. The staff at the desk was nice and extremely helpful. The shuttle was great and they would take you anywhere where you wanted it that was close by including the airport.. however the woman that worked in the restaurant on March 3 and fourth in the evening was extremely rude. I walked in just to see a menu and as soon as I walked up, she said stand there. As I was standing there by the podium, I saw the menus underneath. I went to grab one and she said that’s not the menu Just wait. after waiting for a while, she came up to me and gave me a menu from behind the bar. That was the exact same menus at the podium. I just looked at the menu and didn’t think anything else about it. Later, when I came back to order food again, she was rude with no pleasantries whatsoever, and I noticed her doing this with other customers. I ordered my food and she told me to come back in 10 15 minutes when I came back. I noticed that she was still being rude to all the customers except for one. With this customer, she actually went out of her way to make a conversation with him and was all smiles and giggles. She seemed to only want to help people of a certain ethnicity. I will say that she and I are the both seemed to be the same ethnicity. The next day again I went to the restaurant just to look at the menu again to see what I was going to order that night. When I walked up, it was 4:58 and she just walked by me and said we don’t open until five

    Room was fine. No airport shuttle available and it cost me a $30 taxi. Television channels were very strange, 63-2 for example and you couldn’t input that. Front desk had no clue how to do it so I didn’t have access to TV.

    Check in was fine, parking and breakfast are extras, the room had wood putty holding the wall paper on, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The shower was so bad my wife put a towel down instead of stepping with her bare feet, it was sloped away from the drain as well.

    What I didn't like was......I just arrived from a 14 hour flight and picked up rental car at Charlotte airport and went to hotel, but my biggest disappointment was that I'm only staying for the night and they wanted me to scan the parking QR code and fill it out then the receptionist would go in and cancel it so that I don't get charged $10 fee for parking..... It's 10 dollars a day to leave your vehicle there however, I obviously wasn't leaving my vehicle. 😂 Go back to the old way of giving paper to put in window so car won't be towed....

    So, let’s start with check-in, took way too long. Then we go to parking, you have to pay extra to park. Now we go to the rooms, smells like someone spilled a cherry cocktail in both rooms we had. Yes I said both rooms, of which neither toilet flushed completely on one flush. And to top it off, they wanted $22 for a buffet style breakfast that was free at the holiday inn express we stayed at the three nights before. At best I’d pay maybe $8 for off I went to a restaurant. I am surprised they didn’t want to charge me for the shower I took. That’s probably next on their list. The only good part of this hotel was the young lady that checked us out. She was sympathetic and wanted to give us a free breakfast as we are headed out the door. 64 years old and I’ve never had to pay for a breakfast at a holiday inn or holiday inn express until this visit. This is a $75 dollar a night hotel at twice that price. And I almost forgot to mention that the toilet paper dispenser was about to come out of the wall, the room had no microwave, the fridge was warm and no way to change the settings and the bathroom was very small.

    June 15 2025 - walked into room 230 and ‘bed bugs’ covering one of the two queen beds. Showed the video to the front desk staff on call that night.     The front desk attendant wasn’t very friendly during check in, the AC wasn’t working on the floor we were on, but the room AC was working, the beds were not very comfortable, and the towels were hard an uncomfortable. The ice machine on our floor wasn’t working. It was a place to lay our head for the evening, nothing particularly terrible, but in my mind wasn’t worth the amount paid, and wouldn’t book there again.

    Arrived at 3 to check in with a line of 15 people in the lobby waiting to check in only 1 staff member working front desk.Once checked in they charge a fee to park. The next morning at 830 housekeeping knocking on door and then proceeded to open our room door. Also was told breakfast bar would be free only to find out they charge.     I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was really disappointed by my recent experience at this hotel. The facilities were fine, but the service at the bar was incredibly off-putting. The bartender was shockingly rude—dismissive, short, and seemed irritated by even basic requests. It left a really bad impression and made it hard to enjoy what should’ve been a relaxing evening. For a hotel in this price range, I expected a much more welcoming and professional level of service.

    Loud due to planes. Outdoor pool is seasonal (make sure to check). Front desk staff was unhelpful. No one explained that I needed to pay for parking resulting in a ticket and additional fee. Asked to have my two rooms close together because I had small children and even waited to make sure that would happen. I was then given a room that was on the other side of floor and not where I was promised. Personalities are impersonal and cold in general. Bartender at night and event staff were very friendly and made up for some of the failures of the front desk.

    A last minute stay due to missed connection at CLT. I arrived at the hotel at 11pm and had to catch the 5:30am shuttle, so not a lot of sleep. Of course they assigned me a room almost the furthest from the lobby to give me a little extra exercise before bed time and they wouldn't look up my IHG points because I booked through Hotels.com. And I had a problem with Internet access.

    It was very convenient to the airport, shuttle was convenient and drivers very friendly and helpful. The dinner and service in the restaurant was good. The room was basically clean, but with electrical tubing running around the inside of the room, an outlet that looked as if smoke had come out at some point, and the peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, it just felt tired. The aircraft taking off overhead was louder than any airport hotel I think I have stayed at, and the air conditioning was also very loud.

    So i stayed here because i missed a flight connection. It was a really nice place to stay. The staff was welcoming friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, it was convenient for the airport. The restaurant and bar were open til 11 so i was able to grab a very good quesadilla for dinner. I wound up taking an uber to downtown Charlotte the next day and spent a nice day at museums, walking the city and having a great lunch. Then back to hotel, which had held my bags and took a shuttle to the airport. I didn’t use it but the hotel does have a small laundry and fitness room.

    Room was fine but upon arrival I was told that I have to pay $10.00 a day for parking on top of my room fee . No where did it say anything about parking when I made my reservations. I will most likely not stay there again.

    For this to be very close to the airport. It's very disappointing to see the condition of my room. The bathroom was not clean, my coffee machine wasn't working. I was shock that i had to pay to park my car. Also had to pay to eat my breakfast. I will never stay at this hotel again. The only thing i was please with was the front desk staff. Other than that, this stay was very disappointing.

    This was a last-minute trip for me. I enjoyed my stay here. The front desk staff was delightful. They greeted me with a smile and that is where the majority of my rating comes from. Customer service goes a long way with me! The rooms were spacious and clean and the king-size bed was comfortable. It had all of the essentials for a last-minute trip. If I am traveling through again on a layover, I'd gladly select this hotel. Its proximity to the airport is also 5/5.
