The Hilton Garden Inn asd it's staff were amazing. They are currently renovating the property and it is looking amazing. The GM, Steven, was outstanding as well. He upgraded our room to a top floor, freshly renovated, room at no charge. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast menu was great. The property is being renovated. The rooms were outdated. I expected Hilton to be better for the price I paid for one night. I would have had better accommodations at Holiday Inn

Location Construction that I was not aware about! I booked a specific room for my daughter in advance, for a reason with a Jacuzzi tub. I also asked for early check-in at 1 PM. I was told I would hear back within 24 hours about the early check-in never heard back, so when we showed up at 4 o’clock to check in before the concert that started in Charlotte at six. We were told that the room that I booked was not available, they had no room rooms with Jacuzzi tubs due to the construction! But yet nobody contacted me to tell me this, and it was available on their site! Needless to say, I was not impressed, I was offered nothing for that issue!

The property did not advise they are in the middle of a renovation when I booked it. I paid normal price. It would’ve been fair to know that because they are renovating, they could’ve offered a lower price and leave it up to the travelers to decide whether or not they want to stay.

I was at hotel to prepare for an event and needed a nap but room next door was under construction and loud banging etc so no rest. Thankful it was stopped when i returned.

1. Once you pass the newly polished lobby, your to the elevators, and along the way to your room, you might smell old cooking food smells in the hallway as your traverse across stained carpet carpets. 2. Once in your room, you'll be amazed at the furniture conditions. Our dresser was missing a handle, while one other handle was hanging off by one nail. Edge of the bed plastic was coming off. The curtains were ripped. There was a mysterious gloppy stain on the wall next to the coffee maker. Whenever we flush the toilet, it sounded like an old-school choo-choo train whistle. The bathroom had ripped wallpaper where they used to be a holder for some lotion. And the shower had mildew stains all along the tiles and the ceiling. 3. The hotel itself is probably one of the loudest hotels I've ever stayed in past the sounds of traffic from the roads next to the hotel, you'll be able to hear every single door slam open and any guest walking along the hallways will sound as if they're in an echo chamber. 4. Hungry in the morning? As long as you have $14 a person you can settle up to a really sad continental breakfast/powdered egg and overcook sausage variety. 5. Don't forget to get back to the hotel before it gets too late or you'll be parking across the street in the empty parking lot of a Bob Evans. All that for $138!

I stayed 3 days Friday to Monday. Sunday early in the morning people working on construction outside the parking they blocked my car i was surrounded by barricades and caution tape . The bathroom tub and sink were clogged unacceptable. I reported the issue to the hotel they fixed but the next day the sink again clogged. The bathroom door handle broke . It was a nightmare for the money they charged per night its too.much the building is old .

They are remodeling, but honestly I expected better from Hilton. I think we over paid for what we got. You could tell the ceiling had leaked and tiles were loose around the jacuzzi. It looked like househeeping rushed through. Linens were clean. I would stay elsewhere.

The Breakfast was okay but definitely not worth $13 a day. The room was not very clean but was definitely big (king-whirlpool). The Internet was fast and the house keeping was consistent. The coffee selection was good along with the snack area. The location is not the hotels fault per say but it is very far north in charlotte. The room wasn't the cleanest and the whirlpool tub had not been used in a long time so the original water that came out was green and brown from sitting in the pipes.

The pool area was unable to be used. The elevator was a little slow and sketchy

The hotel is in a very convenient area for all that I had to do in Charlotte. I have stayed in the general area many times but this was the first time that I stayed at this hotel. The hotel appeared fine upon entry but when I got into my room there was mold and mildew in the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling and had mildew on it. The room also contained a mildew smell that would not go away. I alerted the management and he said he couldn't do anything about it since I booked through Expedia.

Hotel Staff and cleaners are rude.

Overall our stay was great and the staff was very friendly. The room was of good size for our stay and was very clean and orderly. My only complaint is that the shower soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers were an annoyance. They have been placed near the front of the shower where you stand under the water. It causes you to turn into them every time you move.

Perfect location if you are visiting the PNC Music Pavilion. Close to highway and easy access to airport. Mall with many dining options less than a mile away. Breakfast buffet on site. Aiden at the front desk was friendly and helpful!

The bed was really hard and I didn't sleep well at all. I asked the front desk client to give us another room and she did. That bed slept better but its time for some mattress upgrade.

Just needed a room for the night on our way home and this was available. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and it was everything we needed to rest up for our ride home. The only thing that would have been nice would be free breakfast.. expected breakfast included for a Hilton. Still a good stop!

Went for a business trip the hotel is non smoking but all you could smell was smoke and weed. I had one towel that was never changed out my entire stay, i know this because i put a piece of paper in it to mark it after day 3 of my 10 night stay, i removed the paper when i checked out. Sheets were only replaced once in my stay i just hoped they were clean when i checked in. Internet is free only for 7 days or you have to pay i had to use my phone for the final 3 days of my trip because the internet expired. For the amount of money i spent on this single room it was an exterme disappointment, dont think i will be staying there again.

The hotel was really not that bad the two biggest things there that was lacking a little is the bed was uncomfortable and lacked decent pillows also the people partying outside are room past 11 PM at night makes it hard to sleep with the above things i mentioned other than that it was managable !!

I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for my visit to Charlotte for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. I got my digital key before arriving, so checkin was easy. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and welcoming. I had dinner there a couple times and had some nice conversations with some of the staff. I had a classic fish sandwich for dinner both nights. It was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were in town for a cheer competition, we stayed 2 nights. All the employees were nice, the rooms are outdated but clean overall.

We had a fire alarm at 3:00am that lasted almost 30 minutes. We were required to stand outside in the cold or sit in our car if you were lucky enough to have your car key. They say they offered free breakfast to everyone affected by the fire alarm but we never received the memo plus another couple affected by the fire alarm was charged for her breakfast that morning. Location was convenient for everywhere we traveled. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

I literally booked a room at 3:45am drove to the hotel and was checking in and settled by 4:30am. Slept like a baby and got to check out at noon (I was exhausted) so that extra time was so needed. Thank you to the older gentleman that checked me in and got me a quiet room.

My experience was bad, at 3 am there were people talking in the hallway and knocking on doors for 1 hour, then a couple started arguing loudly, at 4 am there were people, the bed is very uncomfortable, I would not stay there again.

At 3:30 AM, the entire hotel was woken up by a fire alarm we had to evacuate the hotel stand out in 35° weather wait for the firetrucks. Nothing was wrong. Thankfully it took over two hours for me to go back to sleep and then the hotel would not even accommodate late checkout or a free breakfast or anything for the inconvenience. I am incredibly upset and will also be calling Hilton

Comfortable place to stay in a great location. Front desk staff could use some training in customer service. It’s rude for management to be on their cell phones instead of handling the customer in front of them. Breakfast is also extremely overpriced.

Comfortable place to stay in a great location. Front desk staff could use some training in customer service. It’s rude for management to be on their cell phones instead of handling the customer in front of them. Breakfast is also extremely overpriced.

Expected so much more from Hilton. No breakfast unless you pay $13 for the same breakfast every other hotel gives you for free. No laundry bag in the room. Mildew in the shower tile is as old as the hotel. No WiFi. I get more basics from a motel 6 at 1/3 the price.

Good experience overall. Breakfast should be included IMO given the nature of the breakfast. The room I stayed in could use some TLC. However most hotel staff were friendly.

We went to the breakfast buffet to find out it’s $12.99 a person for a very basic continental breakfast. The rate was cheap and we were only in town for a tournament, so it got the job done… but don’t expect much more than that.

The system was down when we got there so we had to go find somwthing to do. Room wasnt the cleanest. The bathroom was terrible it wont let me load pics that i took. We were suppose to get military discount we did not.

The room was very put together. However, the hallway smelled bad, and I did not like breakfast wasn't complementary for a King bedroom.

Check in was upsetting because there were undisclosed charges I had to cover after already paying for my room. The attendant that night was careless and a little rude. Our room was clean but furniture was missing wood, in poor repair, the fridge was messed up, the bathtub was in poor repair, and the blanket was very scratchy on the bed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the sheets were so soft! The tv could use more channel options for families though.

At check in, I asked to speak with management about the possibility of a price concession on the extreme fee that was undisclosed on the booking Online. We would have never stayed with this pricey fee. The night front desk woman in blue and green hair snapped at me before I could finish my sentence as she rudely interrupted and snapped at my request “No, there’s nothing I can do and will not be contacting my manager.” Every customer request/complaint should be heard and listened to and responded to. Will never stay here again since customer voices are not cared about or listened to. When we were leaving there was paint spots all over lobby floor with no signage.

BUFFET WAS NOT WORTH $14 FOR COLD POWDERED EGGS NEXT TIME WILL GO TO BOB EVANS

Decent hotel, check in staff was serviceable, clean rooms and were fairly comfortable. My main issue was charging nearly 13 dollars for a sub par breakfast buffet that ran out of biscuits by 9am.

I only slept here, and I did figure out the AC this time, so I honestly didn't have any complaints.

Check in went smoothly. However, once we arrived to our room, the water was not working. We went to front desk because no one answered guest services. I asked the front desk staff was there an issue with the water. He said oh yes there’s a leak and they had to shut the water off. Could you not have informed us of that upon check-in? I asked what time will the water be back on ? He said oh check in isn’t until 3. I’m looking like what does that have to do with you informing your guests there’s no water. Not to mention, a staff meeting at 8am outside in the parking lot and waking guest up

This property is very dated. Old everything. I'm used to staying at Hilton Uptown.

I stayed for one night, and I slept well. The only complaint I had was that I couldn't adjust the temperature of on the AC, I could only turn in off and on.

At this price point this facility is a good value. It is clean, convenient for interstate travelers, and the service is friendly.

Lots of noise in the foyer from the guests who were dining there. It is bearable, but I had to wait 15-20 minutes at the concierge for the check in it’s my 2 year old. The fun part is that there were only 2 people in fromt of me

Checked into hotel online but when I arrived my room was not ready despite arriving after the 3pm check-in time. Check in took longer than usual. The representative apologized and said he was waiting on confirmation of when a room would be ready. I was in a hurry so I asked if I could just get a different size room. The representative located a different room and gave me a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience which was greatly appreciated. The room was ok..a bit dated, weird TV controls, and I had issues with the internet when I was trying to work. Internet issues were addressed once I spoke to the IT team. Slow elevator. Good breakfast and location but I don’t think I will stay here again.

The rooms are in desperate need of updates. There was mold in the picture frame and the bedroom area. The bathroom fan didn't work. One of the lights in the bathroom did not work which made it very dim. They need a plumber in the bathroom and the water in the bathtub kept backing up when you take a shower. The only staff member that was nice and cordial was Taylor and for them to charge you for that dried out continental breakfast is ridiculous this is definitely my first and last time staying in that location terrible. And the Wi-Fi was terrible you practically had to stand in the corner on your head in order to get a connection

Beds were terrible. Didn’t like that you were charged for breakfast. Never even asked if we wanted our room cleaned. Expected more of the Hilton name

Property is a little run down. Treadmill doesn’t work, pool was under maintenance so not accessible, lamps in room went off by themselves, was told 2 water bottles would be in room but were not

Very outdated but overall it was a decent stay.

Over all the stay was nice, staff were very friendly. The room had a musty smell and the sink faucet was extremely loose.

The staff was outstanding and pretty personable; however the room was not as advertised. It was in poor shape. The trim molding was peeling off of the wall. The desk, in the room, was from the 80s and sagging in the middle. The sheets smelled as if they had been left in the washer for too long and had an odor to it. Empty boxes were stacked and just left in the elevator’s hallway…the rooms were just incredibly unsatisfactory.
