We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn! It was so nice to find a nice hotel that welcomed dogs of all sizes as well. My golden retriever is a very gentle and well behaved dog but unfortunately it’s hard to find a hotel that allows dogs her size. The Hampton Inn was welcoming and had no issues with her staying with us. A wonderful experience!

Excellent stay. Arrived past midnight and receptionist was super helpful, efficient, and friendly. I hate showing up at hotels in the middle of the night to rude clerks, so this was awesome! In the room within 3 minutes. Room was spotless, big, and comfortable. Breakfast was organized and plentiful. Blessings written on the bananas. Really appreciate the workers at this Hampton Inn!

The bedside lights were both very bright and had a color temperarure of around 5000-7000k, which is about the same as bright daylight which will keep the brain awake, and theredore are unsuitable for bedtime, which should be closer to 2700k, which approximates near sunset tones. This allows foe a better winding down and easier time getting to sleep. I'm a photographer, so this is kinda my job to know.

I liked the location. I didn’t like the fact that our room was not ready at the time of check in and we had to wait almost an hour after 3pm to actually check in the room due to issues with housekeeping.

Everything was nice except the milk dispenser in the breakfast area had black mold all over the area where the milk comes out of the machine. The machine was not working either. It made me wonder how dirty the rest of the hotel was.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations. We had a renovated room and it was very nice. I guess any hotel having renovations is frustrating. The noise during the day was pretty substantial. Once it’s done it’ll be extremely nice. I think the thing that disappointed us was not allowing the pool to be used. It was filled and clean so not sure why it wasn’t allowed. Breakfast was very good, staff was nice, even the construction personnel were polite. It’ll be 5 star once it’s completely finished.

Convenient location. The room was acceptable, clean and comfortable. The lobby and the dining area was an ugly mess, under construction and our bathroom clogged up so we had to use the public room, and the regular public bathroom was under renovation as well. I would like a 50% refund!

Front desk staff were helpful and friendly, however, there was quite a bit of renovating happening I was not aware of beforehand and the hot water took an abnormally long time to start. In addition, the parking lot was overcrowded and could only get a space in the temporary parking and the breakfast was rushed. The attendant at breakfast was a bit abrupt as well.

Staff was very friendly and check-in was a smooth process. Breakfast staff was really courteous and on-the-ball. Good variety of hot and cold foods for breakfast. Minor construction still on-going at this property. There was a lot of traffic noise and it was heard throughout the night. I had to run the a/c to stifle the road noise. The only complaint was the hotel only had ONE luggage cart available for a seven story, 100 room hotel. Not acceptable for a Hilton property! Go the extra step and make things a little easier for your guests.

The hotel was in the middle of being renovated. The hotel was covered in concrete dust that my covered clothes and shoes. The room smelled like paint.The parking lot was filled with construction equipment which made it hard to find parking.

Property was.under construction and the construction sign was blocking the sidewalk which was by the entrance and that entrance has a handicap sidewalk...the sign madenitbsonwe couldn't push a wheelchair up the sidewalk easily.

They were renovating. There was dust everywhere. There were blankets haning in the elevator with cardboard all over the walls. I can't believe they didn't discount for the remodel.

I understand there was construction and certainly did not have unrealistic expectation. But no hot water in a hotel unfortunately it’s not acceptable. I love Hilton and Love a good Hampton Inn, but was sad that even during renovations they weren’t able to meet basic needs.

I booked a king room with jetted tub. After a 12 hour drive from NY to Charlotte, my wife was looking forward to relaxing in that tub. However, when we arrived we were informed that all the tubs had rereplaced with showers. I was not informed of this when I booked the room. I would have stayed somewhere else otherwise.

We found the hotel delightful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable and quiet. We liked that the room was updated with a lot of outlets and usb connections. Our room and the common area's (lobby & breakfast) were very clean and well lit.

On my visit, even when the building was undergoing some changes it was neat and safe. I will recommend people should lounge there. It was a pleasant stay.

Expedia did not provide the room that was shown on the listing. There was a stink bug in the bed, got comped and upgrade the lady really did her best thats why I gave service excellent new room made up for it but it we really were looking forward to a tub and yeah. Be careful with expedia what you see may not be what you get. That was the case with us.

The Spanish lady for housekeeping was very nice and I appreciated her The reception did a good job despite the hotel was under construction. I felt since the hotel was under construction the price should have been lower. Also the hotel ran out of hot chocolate for Christmas and new years which was quite sad. I know it’s a nice hotel but I did not appreciate the construction aspect while I was there.

Best place to stay while passing through Charlotte on I-77. It is roughly half way from our home to Harrisonburg,VA and the Shenandoah Valley.

The Arrowood Rd. location is a perfect stop for our trip to Harrison, Va., both ways.It meets our needs for a clean, comfortable place with free breakfast and reasonable rate.

New room, a handicap suite and not what i reserved. We stay at this location often and usually get the 2 rm suite, it was what i reserved.

Our stay was fantastic! We were treated with respect and friendliness the moment we walked through the door! Our room was clean and large…larger than we anticipated!! We had a wonderful surprise…our room had a jacuzzi tub. Sure didn’t expect that. Everything was nice even though they were renovating at the time of our 1 night stay. Hope you enjoy your stay!

I will say normally I have a pleasant experience here and have no complaints. However this time my room had about 5 stink bugs in the room along with some hair from a previous patron. I showed the staff pictures of the bugs in question expecting a discounted rate. I was told because of the weather changes and offered 2000 points button be honest my girl does not do bugs and I took that as a slap in the face.

Hotel was very aware of these issues before our stay, this hotel was listed as a 4 star hotel it was more like a motel instead. BUYER BEWARE! TO TOP IT OFF CLERK REFUSED TO PRINT A RECEIPT BECAUSE IT WAS A THIRD PARTY BOOKING! With the issues we had I think printing a receipt is the least they could have done. But Karma Bites Hard!

Overnight stay before our flight back home . Didn’t know the place was being renovated , I’m allergic to dust and the smell of paint so couldn’t sleep the night . Would’ve been. I’ve to know about the renovation that’s happening at the property . Would’ve booked somewhere else . Place did not feel safe as there were lot of car vandalism reported in online reviews

Although we did not know the property was doing renovations we were warned of the hours of noise and given a discount for our next stay. Thankfully the noise must have started after we left each day because we never noticed. The staff was great and so friendly. Kyle checked us in and was very pleasant. Mrs. Pat who runs the kitchen was amazing. She was beyond friendly and helpful. She greeted you happily each morning and could often be heard singing while doing kitchen duties. Signs of someone who enjoys what she does. The food was delicious and we have plenty to chose from. Upon checking out we were each given a bag that contained a snack, a water, earplugs, a shower steamer and an encouraging stress squeezer. Renovations or not I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again. Oh and how could I forget to mention the room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. No complaints here. Book today!
