    Location and staff. The front desk associate was very polite and helpful. The refrigerator. Each time the refrigerator came on, there was a loud fan noise and volume on TV had to be turned up a lot. I was sleeping on the sofa bed and was woken up due to the refrig. I finally turned it off at 2AM.

    I liked the price, the location, and the way the rooms were set up. Rooms had bugs in them, we got another room but the worker didn’t put it in the system so we got bothered by workers trying to kick us out for something their worker did. they weren’t trying to hear nothing we had to say basically trying to blame us. Bad attitudes and everything.

    This was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in mattress had period stains all over it and the room smelled like dog pee. I am not high maintenance when it comes to hotels. Buyer beware you get what you pay for. worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If it wasn’t for the fact that it was super late at night, and the kids were exhausted, would’ve immediately left and just lost out on the money spent.

    My wife and I have stayed at many motels with our dog... I cringe thinking of our past experiences in pet friendly rooms... Our pass rooms were always carpeted... Carpeted with pea stains everywhere... Extended stay hotel has LVT flooring.. The size of the room was unbelievable... It was like an apartment... It had a big kitchen and living room bedroom and bathroom... The living room and bedroom TV or the same size... I would say 55 in... The room was clean It smelled good... This hotel was are absolute favorite so far... I told my wife with our past pet friendly experiences that we would hide our dog this time and sneak him in through the side door hoping to get a room that was not pet friendly and nasty... The woman at the desk asked us directly if we had a pet... I told the truth and was upset... When we got to the room everything was above and beyond what we could ever hope for... FR

    Our room was overall clean but the bottom of the toilet was very dirty and I did not like that! I felt nasty just for that reason. I informed front desk she told me to send a email to the manager but the email she presented to me was wrong. She also said she would have housekeeping come in the following day to clean the bottom of the toilet but nobody actually came. She did apologize for the situation which I appreciate a lot. That is why I’m giving my overall stay a 6 rating score

    Monica, Diana, Eva, and Cocoa were kind courteous and accommodating. I have to say I like the property, however I often felt like I was being watched oddly. Management watches you on video from home but won't speak with you in person, if you have any concerns about vending machines, bugs, and most importantly extra charges that most of us may miss.The duration of my I cleaned my own room, I was cordial and kind to staff. When I saw the foolio their were so many charges my head hurt. Management treated me awful she kicked me out with no empathy especially since it was the middle of the night I was sleeping in the room. Management had front desk young lady come to room knock on door in middle of the night to say management said you have 30 min to leave. I was and am humiliated, hurt, and shamed. I offered to help housekeeping anything I could not to be in the situation I'm in now. I didn't want to sleep in cold car trying to book been charged in lobby some days with signature other days None . I'm just trying to figure out why she would be so inhumane. I paid premium rates daily when her online ESA rates were $78 she was charging me $121-132 daily.The email receipt and copy receipts are completely different.

    The staff was super kind and location was good. There were dead roaches smashed on the ceiling, the wall behind the couch, and a giant dead one under the couch. The pull out couch would not pull out all of the way and overall the place didn’t feel clean. The beds were also rock hard and also I was charged by the property after already paying on booking.

    ESA at this location is a GREAT value. For longer stay, housing hunting, or job shopping, or even for holidays, I would recommend it. Keep in mind, this is a large city, and this hotel is an extended stay. So, your neighbors in the rooms, might not be the same caliber as those upper middle class folks you live next door to back home. But, the facility has been kept in good shape over the years. I first stayed here over 22 years ago. And, it is remarkably the same as it was then. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Laundry room is nice as well. It’s a no frills, solid value with two room suites, a kitchen and living room area, plus a desk. There is a treadmill and elliptical runner for exercise, coffee each morning, with a breakfast snack provided also. It is very conveniently located near several restaurants and shops too.

    The room smelled like cat urine. I requested a new room. The receptionist (who was the only good thing about this hotel) confirmed there were rooms available she could move new to, she just needed to get permission from her manager. The manager refused to approve the room change, forcing us to sleep another night in a room that smelled of cat urine. We ended up leaving and finding a new place to stay.

    The staff was ok. The hotel overall was a fair 2.5 star. The smell in the stairwell is overbearing. The room had a very bad stench. The air conditioning unit had a bad smell as well. The pull out couch was absolutely filthy and worn completely out, we could not utilize it. The bed was very low and made A LOT of noise. The chair in the shower was disgusting, needs to be soaked in bleach.

    Trash on the ground outside and the grass was tall. The actual room was not as clean as it Could have been. The floor needed to be cleaned and mopped. The furniture has started peeling. The upstairs people sounded like a herd of buffalo all night. Walking hard and dropping things ALL NIGHT! The heating and cooling units are extremely noisy when they come on, also the rooms are only cleaned on Tuesdays and if you want clean towels you have to go to the front desk and the real kicker is if you want your sheets changed it will cost an extra $20.

    This is the first time we have stayed at an extended stay or residence type of hotel/motel. It's not exactly the same as a regular hotel. Room payment was expected with an additional deposit at arrival. The additional deposit was charge back to my credit card quicky after we checked out. Breakfast is literally non existent. You will probably need to go out. Maid service is weekly, not daily. You can exchange linens at the front desk. Animals are permitted. I ran into a man with two pit bulls in the corridor when going to look at the breakfast bar. It was not a problem, but a surprise. We only needed a room for two nights and it served it's purpose. This is basic accommodations.

    Traveled to CLT with our 16-month-old grandson to visit family over Thanksgiving holiday. Our room would have been fine if it had been clean, but it wasn’t. I had to go buy a broom (staff said they didn’t have one to lend me) to sweep the floor after our toddler grandson almost picked up what was probably ecstasy or fentanyl pill under the edge of the couch when he dropped his toy. Needless to say, my husband and I were completely mortified because this could have killed our only grandchild. What’s worse is that the front desk staff obviously didnt think it was a big deal, just said “Well, you never know what people leave behind in hotel rooms.” Period. When we checked out (after taking pictures of the pill) we gave the front desk the pill in the tip envelope so it could be disposed of. Front desk staff laughed and said “Well, other than that, how was your stay?”In retrospect, I wish I had called the police, because no one else even cared. Because of this incident and the nonchalant attitude of staff, I will never book with Extended Stay America EVER again. Parents (and grandparents) beware! ESA, please do a better job cleaning rooms.

    I didn't like the noise of the children above us jumping, running ,playing all day and night while we were trying to rest.I work nights and my Husband works day shift and there was any peace for either of us because of the noise .We were going to find another Hotel because of this and we still may.

    My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We checked in super late on Friday night and Leah at the front desk was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Very sweet and personable.     Did not like the quality of the shower floor. Had to buy a shower mat and sandals to be able to take a shower. When asked the front desk about this, they said “all the rooms have showers like this”..would have left and just rebooked somewhere else but our home was getting work done for a few days and we had little kids with us tired from the day. Decided to stay and just purchase the above mentioned things. No pots/pans available for cooking etc, no spoons/utensils… had to request that from the front desk. Also had to bring your dirty towels to the front desk to get fresh ones. Wouldn’t recommend for families used to convenience and cleanliness, but if looking for short term decent stay.. would recommend. Thanks!

    The property is nice, very convenient, very good staff,and very clean. But what i didn't like was having to walk through the smell of weed. It was so bad that i could bearly breathe. And also something happened. I don't know what it was but i got on the elevator and a young man was on it with me and he had a gun. And he was wearing a hoodie. He was acting suspicious. I was very scared for my life. So i will not be back.

    When we first arrived everything was great, the customer service was great, we had brought our two dogs with us so I had requested the first floor just easier outside access. We had went out to dinner came back and wanted to relax and enjoy a quite night, but the people above us on the second floor (they must live in the hotel) were very loud, stomping, did not show any respect for the ones below them so I finally called the front desk and they said they would take care of it...an hour later the people started to settle down.     This is the 2nd time I have used this hotel for my staff while they are in town training. The hotel itself was fine, not complaints there. My employee who stayed at this hotel on two sep occasions had an issue with the staff at the front desk during check in (same person at the desk both times). She said the agent at the desk was very rude to her upon check in. She asked her how old she was (she was 19). She was told she could check in due to her age unless someone over the age of 21 was able to physically come and check her in. I as her manager live over an hour away and that was impossible. The agent was extremely rude to my staff. This was no fault of hers. Upon booking the hotel there was no mention of an age req. She was eventually able to check in. I called in advance prior to her 2nd trip and spoke with front desk. I was told it would be fine for my staff to visit the hotel again because it was a business trip and they would note the acct. When my staff arrived she was told there was no reservation on file even though she presented the hotels.com conf. Again agent Diane was rude to her again. I spoke with Diane and she told me the reservation was not at this hotel. She was rude to me on the phone. After about 10 mins later and me having to pull over and give her the info that she already had she found it. Upon check out my staff member was questioned again about her age even though we got the approval. I will not send my staff here again.
