    There was a horrible smell throughout the hotel during my convention. I had to rebook a flight back home because I got so sick from the fumes. I was ill in their parking lot and couldn't return to convention. I lost a whole day with my work trip. HORRIBLE experience.

    The Managers reception was nice because of the skill of the bartenders!! The staff was friendly . The public areas were sparkling clean. The quality of the breakfast food was mediocre. When I called to ask for my room to be cleaned the front desk said OK but no one came. Nor did the engineer come to fix the smoke detector. I asked for towels and that never came either. The quality of the snack food at the reception was mediocre. The worst chips and salsa ever.

    Very clean, organized. Lovely lobby/atrium. Spacious room. Enjoyed the complimentary happy hour, snacks and buffet breakfast. The atrium was extremely hot as was our room. We could not get it to cool below 80 for most of our stay. In our unit, the hand soap in the bathroom was completely empty and the microwave didn’t work, which was inconvenient. In the AM, we discovered we were only provided with decaf coffee. While these are not deal breakers, it was inconvenient. However we would stay at a different Embassy Suites again.

    The property is being renovated. The AC in the lobby and restaurant area does not work. It was not as soon as we walked in. The AC in our room did not work and we did not have trash cans in our room. I ultimately complained and my room was changed half way through my stay. I had to complain several times. I would not recommend.

    The hotel is undergoing renovations, so there rooms are like new. Unfortunately the fitness center wasn’t available during our stay due to renovations. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport and near the city. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay there again.

    When I go down to breakfast, I see that the ceiling tiles have fallen from the ceiling, and the workers are walking past it with no caution signs. When I get back to my room, I decide to pack up and shower before leaving. I hung 3 shirts up to dry when I get out of the shower. One of the hurts have a big burn hole and the others have several small burn holes. These are designer pieces used for shows. This was caused by water from the shower, getting into the fire alarm, but the fire alarm did not go alert. While leaving, I see that just too levels underneath they were scraping up the carpet. I think this building is in its last days for sure.It

    It had a pool for my kids The staff, very unprofessional, they came in our room way before check out time and took our belongings including our baby’s car seat. We were down stairs eating breakfast before we realized. Only thing the staff said was sorry

    Unfortunately the hotel was extremely under staff. No Air Conditioning in the main lobby areas. Elevator, only one worked all weekend which was horrible with the having to wait in the heat. Our room was ok a few unwanted guest crawling in the bathroom. I will say the bed was very comfortable but the whole experience wasn't great. Will not return.

    The cleaning staff is excellent but understaffed. The shuttle drivers are top notch; Hector,respectful of elderly issues, and was prompt , drove safely, and very pleasant. I was very surprised that there was nothing in the rooms to suggest restaurants in the area or malls, parks, nothing. The front desk had no suggestions either when one person who was have an issue asked about a drug store or Walmart, Walgreens CVS ect. Thankfully, between the 20 or so of us, we could come up a temporary solution. The breakfast was excellent and the omelette station associates were very very good. The rooms well appointed, the one and only person serving bar and tables all day was also very kind and pleasant considering what she had to do. Shame on management; hire staff !!

    Great stay, class and, friendly staff. 3 issues. 1. We asked to have purchases changed 2 days in a row. The beds were made but the sheets were never made. Probably a communication problem between front desk and housekeeping . 2. We couldn’t cast to the tv. Front desk sent maintenance. Mtce said they didn’t know anything about the tv. Staff should be trained to help guests. 3. Not enough luggage carts force other check in or check out. Had to make numerous trips to unload and load

    Overall nice older hotel, it’s in the midst of a renovation, some rooms are updated..luckily ours was updated. Our first evening was a Saturday, the hotel was quite full - many kids and young rowdy guests. Our second evening was much quieter as there were mostly adult guests. Breakfast was great. Our room was clean…the elevator floors were often wet and sticky as apparently folks coming in from the pool or carrying drinks left the elevators messy. The property is getting much needed updates, it was a good value as rates were less than other properties in the area.

    Nia from the front desk was very helpful. I had a glitch in my reservation and I feel she went out of her way to work it out. 👏👏 Also I would like to point out James at the omelet station who was working the station alone and was quick and friendly. He worked as fast as he could with a smile. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    I never expected to have the experience we did at this hotel. I’ve stayed at other locations and never had any issues. A staff member tried to come in our room twice without knocking and was not there for any service. We had to have our room moved due to upgraded or cleaning being done to the couches during the middle of our stay. When I voiced my concerns a manager was very dismissive. I wouldn’t stay at this location for free!

Housekeeping was rude and refused to get anything from our room. I asked and they said maybe at 12 and never came. Had to go without tissue after calling down over and over till we got some.They had given us a room with mold and water that was leaking that my child was in as well. Then we had to wait for another one and was out of a room all day.Then we called for an accident in our room where glass was broken from getting food out of the microwave and the glass fell out and didn't have a way to clean it. We had a 2 year old in the room as well as my 8 year old and there was no urgency to help get it cleaned. Then we asked the house keeper who was across the hall and she said she wasn't assigned to our room. Then the pool was closed for most of our stay. This definitely wasn't the graduation vacation I had hoped for.

    First, I was not given a parking pass at check-in, which caused some confusion later. Second, at check-in I was given two bottles of water and a bag of chips for free. That night I used the gym and had one of the bottles of water. After working out, I wanted a protein shake, so I walked to the on-site market, but they didn’t have any. I then went to the front desk to get some toothpaste, and the lady working asked if I needed to pay for the water I had. I explained that it was given to me at check-in for free. She then asked how it got from the store to the front desk. I explained again that I already had the water and told her if I needed to pay for it, I would—if that’s what she wanted me to do. She responded, “I just want you to be honest.” I was honestly taken aback by that comment. I did report this to the manager the next day and hope it was addressed with the staff member. Aside from that interaction, the hotel itself was good, but experiences like that can definitely impact your overall stay.

    The hotel is renovating floors at a time. The staff was amazing from check in to bat staff to breakfast staff to cleaning staff! I was soooo impressed with the friendliness and helpful attitude throughout my stay. Highly recommend. Construction is necessary for improvement. Glad they are improving the insides of the outdated floors.

    The room we stayed in was left unlocked and open until we got there at almost 9 PM. The renovations woke us up at 7 AM. They had no plates or silverware at breakfast. No towels at the pool. All but one elevator was broken. More than one time in our 14 hour stay, it took longer than 20 minutes for the elevator.

    The bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Appreciated the staff that made your omelets fresh. The hotel ran out of towels and wash clothes, I remained without until 10 pm. The pool area also lacked towels. In the pool area there were 2 large bricks that were loose. One of the climb ladders on the 5 ft section of the pool is broken and hanging in the water.

    The breakfast are was chaos: plates and food were missing. Individual guests took a LOT of food, which meant those behind them were left with little. The check-out was complicated because the person in charge was not able to figure out why payment had not been processed correctly. He sent me to his colleague for a problem he solved with my help, after I waited for his colleague to show up. I hope I am not charged twice for this reservation!

I also was charged for parking, however I didn't drive (uber everywhere) I told the lady at the front desk, she said she would take it off but it wasn't.     We spent a hour in the room bedore leaving for the concert it was 80 degrees in the room but cooled off gradually. We washed up and if you ran water in the sink, the tub would start making gargling noises. ( The tub also made the same noises when we took showers later, those pipes had alot to say.) Then my daughter picked up a wash cloth and a roach or bug egg was secured to it. She was grossed out so we checked the other cloths and towels very carefully before using them. When we got back after midnight it was a little warm but I am having hot flashes so I was not sure. But my daughter's tried the thermostat and it would not work. I did not asked to be moved to another room since it was after midnight close to 1 am so we just slept as well as we could. The staff was super nice and the room itself was very spacious with nice furniture. The beds were soft but I would not stay there again. Thank you for your time.

    First of all they had no milk just skim milk, and when I asked for milk they gave me buttermilk. They had cream packages but when I put my had in the jar it was sticky. I had to got to the store and buy coffee out every morning . Day two no toilet paper. I want to the desk and she ask me was I sure? Then I went to their store to get snack and brought my debit , they sold me the only take cash? Went to the bar cash only, why? Also, no internet day one. I ask to speak to the manager, never did she was not around. I should get a discount for all that mes. So I rate the -10

    We have two minor complaints and that’s it ! Hotel is absolutely beautiful. It was under renovation when we came so the room was a little warm. Simple. No biggie at all. We cracked the window. However the two lady’s that work 7-3 could use some etiquette training. Mannerism was off BUT the freaking awesome lady who was training the young boy during the 3-11 shift is absolutely superb. We will definitely be looking for that duo when we return ! Hopefully we can experience them again. They were so amazing we give the stay a 5!

    The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The evening staff is incredible. However the hotel was under renovation so our room was just a little hot. We are not complaining, however. Morning ladies are a little rude. But the lady and her trainee that she was training that evening made up for them completely. That duo was incredible Our whole stay.

    Check in was very easy coupled with the Hilton Honor app. I was offered water as a nice gesture. Each night with the guest reception was great with good snacks and the 2 free drinks. The room was everything I needed and more. Plenty of space for my needs. Wonderful shower. Comfortable bed. The breakfast everyday was amazing and a great way to start the day.

    We stayed in one of the recently remodeled rooms and it was very nice. However construction was still ongoing on other floors and the noise and parking lot congestion was a little disruptive for customers. Minimal inconvenience but interruptive for sleeping in and in-out travel on the property.

    It was a quick overnight stay to catch an early flight out after driving 4 hrs. 2 free drinks helped ease the stress of driving in Charlotte. Drinks were well made. Food was mediocre. Reception was a little cold, room was nice and quiet, Bar staff was Great! I would stay here again.

    Sleeping on the pullout sofa was extremely uncomfortable. Springs were poking up into my back. Any move would cause the whole thing to squeak and creak loudly. I asked the front desk for pillows but they just apologized and said they didn’t have any. Also, the music in the open atrium lobby was so loud and never ceased throughout the night, clearly heard in the first room with the sofa. Blaring rock and pop music at 4AM as I was trying to sleep.

    The ac was out in the room. Stopped at about midnight. Tried to call the front desk 3 times no answer. Sweated all night. Room smelled like paint. Floor was in process of renovation. Had to step around tools to get to room. Told the front desk of issue upon check out in the morning and the guy said “oh, that’s too bad. Sorry” One bright spot was Sabrina at check-in. She was awesome and very helpful. I wish I could say the same for other staff.

    The hotel is remodeled, so you can tell it is an older building. The room wouldn’t get cool & the microwave or coffee maker wasn’t working properly. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but it was a nice variety. Overall, I do recommend this hotel mostly because of the wonderful staff.

    We were put in a room that was being renovated & was not informed. Our sink was consistently clogged. Our shower leaked into the room. Housekeeping never was serviced because they did not acknowledge us after speaking with them & confirming a time for them to come by. We did get ankther room but the entire stay was extremely poor and no apologies or assistance was given without serious advocacy.

    The hotel was supposed to have the bar/grill open through 8 pm is the one reason we decided on this site. I understand it is Christmas but I contacted them 4 days prior to verify the bar/grill would be open however they decided last minute Christmas Eve to close it Christmas Day. So the didn’t have all the emenaties available.. there was also to be a 2 drink on the hotel as well. We drove 8 hrs

    The room was a nice size especially for my family of 5, the amenities were amazing but the room above us sounded like it had work done going on and woke us up 3 of the nights we were here. While the staff was friendly for the most part, a fire alarm went off asking us to make our way outside. No staff memeber was out there to check on guests, there was no communication to guests that it was safe to go in, for the most part when it was obvious we could go in, groups of guests started to go back in. Nothing was said or done to insure that guests were ok. Other than that, the hotel was relaxing and nicely located.

    There was blood on the inside of the comforter on one of the beds. The bellboy Gary, let the luggage cart hit my truck passenger side of the truck( left damage). The front staff had me write my own incident report on blank paper, no one has still followed up after being told the only upper management on site was a engineering supervisor and that the regular manager would not be available until that Monday. My stay was 9-26-25 to 9-28-25 ( 4800 s Tryon st, Charlotte NC). The breakfast was good, bar staff was amazing.

    We only ended up staying for a night, but it was lovely. The room was clean and very spacious for myself, my husband and our one year-old. The breakfast was nicely stocked and had much variety. Our baby enjoyed the oatmeal and they had an area where you could build your own omelette and have it cooked for you, wish I would’ve noticed it sooner because you don’t see that in most hotels ! Instead the french toast and self made waffles were delightful ! Overall, we will be booking again in the near future !

    I only gave two stars on the staff because the cook was AMAZING and should probably be put in charge of hospitality. They were slammed and he never stopped smiling and having a good time.     As I was checking in to the property two of the employees at the front desk were cursing each other out and yelling at each other. It was an aggressive start to say the least. Several of the lights in my room also were not working properly and I had to call maintenance who only unplugged the lights rather than fix them.

    Upon arrival, I noticed a linen bag in the closet, which I assumed contained all items needed for the sofa bed, including a blanket. Because of my sons’ individual medical and sensory needs, I also proactively requested an additional blanket, which was delivered promptly. Later that evening, I went to prepare the sofa bed and realized the linen bag did not include a blanket as expected. I attempted to call room service three times, but no one answered, so I submitted a second request via the hotel’s text messaging system, along with a request for two extra towels. The towels were delivered while we were out, but the blanket was not. When I followed up again via text, a housekeeping employee came to the room and stated that hotel policy prohibits providing a second blanket. I explained that this was not a duplicate request—it was for the sofa bed, which was missing its blanket…The employee interrupted, and eventually said, “I’ll go ahead and do it this time,” in a tone that made me feel dismissed and uncomfortable. Because of that encounter, I placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door and chose to decline housekeeping for the rest of the stay to avoid further interactions. The following day we left the room with the “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed on the door, the staff ignored the DND sign and entered the room when we were out. I have never had a hotel ignore a guests DND request before. An apology was provided, but I left uncomfortable for the rest of my stay.

    We arrived a day early and asked for a room. Receptionist told us no rooms were Available at all and we then booked one on Expedia and they allowed us to check in. We were also there for a family reunion and the hotel catered and ALL OF THE CHICKEN was raw and bloody inside.

    This hotel is the worst. Refrigerator did not work, pool closed, a/c . Not cool. we had dinner at bar restaurant. Kept forgetting requested food items, and I had to request fries for our child three times as well as desert. When I got bill, they charged me three times for those items. So every time i told them we did not get item, they readded to bill. Our daughter and son we with us. Their truck window was smashed and car broken i to. When police came, they asked who recommended the hotel to us and said they have break in and robery calls there 3 times a week. Tried to speak to manager, never available, said she was not on site.

    It eas a very busy weekend and only 1 person working front desk during check in causing a very long wait. Breakfast was great, but very understaffed again for the amount of people staying. Room was clean and comfortable.

    The property is very nice and modern! I love the elevator set up and the room set ups! When we entered the room it was nice but the toilet was clogged…that was really the only thing that was wrong! Other than that, I would stay again!

    The staff at the reception was very unpleasant, they had a 50$ deposit requirement which was fine, also a charge for parking at the hotel we already payed around 400$ for, but then once the payment went through there was an additional charge of 270$ after coming back to the reception and asking what it was for they said that we had selected to pay at the hotel instead of over Expedia which was not true, I had offered to show them the receipts which they didn’t really care for and they said there is nothing they can do and that we would have to either come back or call the supervisor on Monday which was the day after we had left. The staff it self was once again very unpleasant with an exception of a few people, the surrounding area is terrible especially considering the price of the hotel. I would strongly encourage anyone to look into other hotels don't waste your time, money or patience with a place like this!

    Perfect for all our needs! Very clean and welcoming hotel. Easy check in and out. Loved access to use shuttles to get to our event close by. Hector was Awesome! The breakfast was excellent and had a nice selection. The bar area was relaxing and enjoyable. The room was very roomy, clean, and updated.

    I did not receive any housekeeping the ENTIRE STAY. Called front desk (after numerous times of trying) finally spoke to front desk staff ( who seemed to give no care at all). She told me "They will eventually get to my room". Breakfast bar ran out of food so we had to wsit about 20 minutes for them to replenish items. Homeless ppl was walking around as if they stayed there (actually was camped out in the bushes, in front of the property). The last day of our stay there was a big german Sheppard roaming free, the hotel front desk staff was unimpressed. SItting area in back was only two tables! It was the weekend of the PGA TOUR! I wouldn't recommend this property to ANYONE! The only person who was so incredibly nice was the bar attendant. Oh i forgot we ordered wings and they was cold as ice adter we waited for about 40 minutes!!! Needless to say they brought them back out (they had tp put them in the microwave) they was tougher than beef jerky! Asked for my receipt ay check out ftont desk vlerk wouldn't give me one because she stated I paid through Expedia ( but yet you got paid correct?). Disaster!!!!!

    This hotel was amazing . Starting off with the front desk . Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I needed to check in early and that wasn’t a problem they even gave me 2 free drink vouchers for their happy hour. I thought that was really awesome . Next , the room was super clean and fresh . Everything was up to date and modern . Housekeeping was cool. The morning breakfast was amazing . Bacon eggs ,sausage, pancakes, French toast, an oatmeal station ,cereal, fresh fruit, juices and sodas, and even an omelet station !! It was the best free breakfast I’ve ever experienced on a trip hands down . The pool was a 7/10 only because the water was nasty and filled with products like lotion, sunscreen & hair oils because the guest don’t shower before entering. It’s not the hotels fault but I wish they could enforce the rule a little better . It was gross for me . Sry . This was my first time in Charolette and it was an awesome trip . The city was so much fun with so much to do and experience and now I’m going to make sure that wherever I travel I stay at an Embassy suites . They really didn’t miss with this one !

    Hotel is run down and in terrible condition. There was no air condition in my room, had the thermostat on 65 and it was 76 in the room. Bathroom floor was dirty and stains on the comforter in the bedroom.

    Hotel is very tired. Furniture is old and water stained. Restraunt and bar service was a joke. Waited 45 minutes for a drink. went and got outside food and suddenly the waitress has all the time and the world to tell at us. I paid for 4 rooms 3k, i do not appreciate being yelled at because you have terrible service.

    There was a free breakfast in the morning as well which gave us the strength to head back to the airport for another day of delays. We booked through Expedia and checked in quickly, but after a flood of other travelers came in it was impossible to purchase any wine from the snack bar which we would have loved to do. I also needed tampons which they didn’t have in the shop, so I walked up to Circle K, came back to the hotel and discovered there were free tampons and pads in the lobby bathroom.

    The check in staff was amazing, it was clear the hotel was full with Cheerleaders competition, Mary Kay Convention and just regular guest. The two people at check in had the most amazing personalities and customer service skills, considering all the things going on in the lobby. They worked with speed and excellence getting us checked, giving information etc. I believe ones name was Michelle and the other was a gentleman checking in my friends.
